Is LuLu's the best Mediterranean food I've ever had? No, but the fact that it's in Springfield makes it deserve 5 stars. Owner is doing the smart thing by having standard American food options along with breakfast/diner type food, all of the food is good, and the Labonese options are very good as well. Try the Hummus/Fillafel with the grilled lamb or chicken, for you first timers you will start to understand what this town has been missing. If you liked Holy land at all, this is leagues above that place.

What a pleasant refreshing surprise to find such a place in Springfield! I opted for the buffet which had a Meditteranean/Lebanese focus, along with fried chicken, mashed potatotes and even pizza. The gyro meat, salad, stuffed grape leaves, bean salad, & vegetarian Lasagna were delicious. It finally seems Springfield has a place that understands seasoning and spices! The buffet is small in its offering, but that was fine with me. , However the full menu is available. (The buffet pizza looked old.) I overheard numerous other diners complimenting staff on the food. I hope the owner does not avoid spending radio and newspaper advertising. I never knew the place was open until I drove down 9th. I would love to see them broaden their Meditteranean focus. I will go back and have recommended it to friends already. Buffet with iced tea, dessert was $12.00

Quite decent to really good food. They are very nice. The space inside is very large. Food that is Lebanese & american-Greek-Mediterranean was good by my Americanized standards, Not sure how authentic it is...I would have to ask someone else for that. They also have normal american food with breakfast eggs and meats which is interesting. They are also willing to deliver if the order is big enough. =) They gave me this delicious dessert that they make everyday...almond coconut butter cake of some sort. I had the kebob special/combo (a bit dry), while my buddy had the gyro. =) yuuuum.

I was very sad when Holyland Diner closed down, but was extremely happy to hear of a new Mediterranean restaurant was opening. Came for the lunch buffet w friends, first off, every one is welcoming and friendly, all smiles and kind words. The place is clean and comfortable with tons of natural light. The buffet was delicious with a lot of different foods to choose from. I highly recommend coming here! I look forward to trying something from their menu. :)

Horrible Period! Tried the middle eastern options, the rice that they call Biryani, which comes with ithe mixed grill plate had gone bad, probably left over from Lunch, and was kept outside in the summer. The hummus was store bought, but then had some watery substance that oozed out of it, The mixed grill meat was ok. They gyros meat was hard and nothing like thinly sliced as it should be. Overall a bad experience. Would not recommend this place.

Their slogan is "where west meets east for a feast!" They aren't lying. I am a huge fan of hte buffet, which mainly offers mediterranean and middle eastern dishes. The buffet items are tasty and fresh. For those lunch-goers who are not into that cuisine they offer a fine selection of American dishes to suit most people's pallets.
