I visited for a late lunch on a Thursday and ordered spinach tomato and bacon eggs benedict with hash browns and cheesy grits. Delicious!!!!! My server was Monica and she was so patient with my indecisiveness and my friend's inquiries. She always was smiling every time she walked by and served other tables and mine. I am glad I tried this place out. It's a modest size and the decor is warm, clean and inviting. Loved the prices as well!

Very good place. Pretty, clean restaurant. The food was quickly served and the waitress was attentive. As a group, we had the juevos rancheros (awesome), buckwheat pancakes, eggs with ham, and BLT club with cheese. All the food was very good. My one gripe was that the fries that came with the BLT were not cooked all the way and were soggy. Also, it came with soup, so I chose chicken gumbo because I'm not a dumpling fan. The soup was definitely NOT even remotely a gumbo. Had it not been for the soup, I'd have definitely given this a 5 star rating. Sort of pricey, so be prepared to spend a bit more than your average place. Nonetheless, worth a try! Response to comment: Hello, my group and I were there on Tuesday morning around, roughly, 10. I love any restaurant that takes time to figure stuff out, so I truly appreciate your reaching out. You guys did a great job. Had the fries and gumbo been a bit different, you're at 5 stars for sure. Keep up the great work. We will definitely be back.

Blueberry Field is a favorite of many of the locals from South Holland for a very good reason...not only is the food first rate but the staff is always extremely polite, friendly and accommodating. Your dining experience will be one that you will want to enjoy again and again. Reasonable prices for great portions in a "this feels like home" environment! Be sure to check this restaurant out.

One of my favorite places to go with my mom. The staff is friendly, and the service is pretty quick. A good cheap eat.

When I have to get up to run errands before work, I get up a little extra early and go to Blueberry Fields for breakfast. On the weekdays at 7-30/8am it's not very busy and i'm usually in and out rather quickly. The only thing that bothers me is that the server always drops off my check as soon as my meal arrives (that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5)

Not a bad stop at all.. Suprised Noone reviewed this place... Enjoyed my blueberry pancakes... Oh the crabcakes were fresh and borderline perfect!

Cute little neighborhood pancake house with great service. Waitresses are doting so you'll feel like you are dining at a friend's grandmother's kitchen table rather than in a restaurant. My pancakes were delicious and exactly what I needed for lunch on the cold grim day that I wandered through.

Went to this location again today on a whim as I had a taste for one of their skillets. The service was really fast and the skillet was hot and plentiful. Prices are still the same.

We stumbled upon this place on our way home from Chicago and it was amazing!! The food was delicious. We got better food and more of it for the same price we paid at ihop the day before. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often:)

Oh where to start! COME HERE!! It is located in the small village of South Holland, next to Oak Forest, but it is crowded! For good reason, it is a great place for breakfast!! All day long! The waitresses are all friendly and fast service. Plenty of room for big groups. The food though, wow! Amazing!! About 10 of us were in from California and staying in South Holland for the week, we read the great reviews and had to check out. So happy we did! We ended up coming back multiple times! Let me make some recommendations: HAWAII FIVE-O OMELETTE SPINACH, BACON & TOMATO BENEDICT any crepe and any pancake with fresh fruit THE MEDITERRANEAN SALAD and try try try the chilaquiles!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fresh orange juice is delicious but Illinois does not seem to know what a shirley temple is, its ok though. Next time i visit, i am stopping by here for sure!

Really good food with fast and friendly service. I like that they have a vegetarian and low calorie section of the menu. The parking lot is small and sometimes hard to maneuver through. You can call ahead for carry out.

Love coming here! Really good food with good (no, great!) service. It's reasonably priced as well for a brunch place. Your meal with coffee comes out with tip under 15 (less if you take advantage of their early morning M-F specials... although not on Christmas Eve as I found out!). I personally go for the skillets and pancakes. Mhmmmmmm!

Good food and great service! I prefer the lunch choices the best, but breakfast is also good! Parking can be a bit tricky during busy times on the weekends, but there is additional parking in a lot behind the restaurant.

Me and husband love this place. When we say breakfast we come here. I've tried a wide range of the breakfast menu but not the lunch. I really like the skillets and the waffles. I know it's a simple thing but there sourdough toast is so good with butter and jelly!!! It's the simple pleasures of life Service is fast and the servers are pleasant and attentive.

My mom was raving about this place that is near her so I had to come and see what she was talking about. We came by on a nice Saturday morning around 10:30 which is around the time they start getting busy it seems like. There was maybe a 15 minute wait as they gave us a number when we walked in and asked for a table. They guy handing out the numbers seem very quiet and did not give out a time frame, but you can see they give out the numbers in proper order as we noticed the group in front of us had 19 and we had 20. Once seated the waitress instantly brought us water and took our order. I got the denver omelet (egg whites is an additional $1.39) with hash browns, wheat toast and a side of bacon (4 pieces). Very good and filled me up. Food didn't take too long to come out so I wasn't hungry for long, but I demolished the dish! Not too expensive and they have a low calorie/vegetarian section on the menu if you are someone that watches their intake. I like this place and will come more often.

Was not what I expected. The hostess was unfriendly and the food was bad. Soft eggs are not difficult. The waitress was very nice though.

The food is typically good..unfortunately, today my friend had a bad experience. We explained to the waitress that the breakfast skillet was not satisfactory, and quite dry... We went on to explain that the bacon, and toast had been eaten out of the skillet...The waitress directed us to the manager/owner...She was a NIGHTMARE!...She began to literally raise her voice at my friend...She was being extremely agressive, and it appeared that she was chastising my friend for not conveying this to the waitress earlier on...I began to explain that she thought she would eat the food, but she no longer had an appetite for the meal...The manager/owner began to raise her voice, and because of the language barrier we could not understand her... I did understand that at one point she stated, "Next time you don't wait until last minute!!" I simply stated that it won't be a next time! Needless to say very unprofessional, and the manager owner was unconcerned with our experience, because as she put it "Been here for 17 years!!!!" So the opinion of one patron is unimportant and irrevelent. Horrible management and customer service! I will never return regardless of how good the food is!

Wonderful environment, me and my wife were greeted at the door. Very fast but yet perfect food service, food was very well prepped and delicious. If you are looking for an early morning meal I recommend this place!!! I ordered the corned beef on rye and it was perfect I recommend it, my wife had the vegetarian omelet with only egg whites it was a huge portion and more than she could eat she recommends it if you want to fill your belly up.

Had breakfast today with a group of twelve.. Food was DELISH... Service was fantastic. Our waitress was awesome. She had all of our orders correct (and some of us are very picky) and the food was delivered in a timely manner. We all left very satisfied. Great Job !!

I really like this place. This is kind of a late review. The last time I went was 2 months ago. This place has good food and the waiters are very polite. Hopefully I will go back. I just never had the time to go back. This place is one of the best restaurant's I have ever been.

Love this place!! Located near my home it is so nice to be able to enjoy a great meal without the travel hassle. The food is always fresh and hot when served. I would also like to mention the servers who are always nice and friendly ever time I stop in. Much better than the " well known" breakfast spots.

Great food. I had blueberry pancakes and they were what we call "fiyah"(that means delicious)!!! My family took my neice there for her 1st birthday and the waitress was fantastic, treated us with care and we didn't have any problems.

Their breakfast food was delicious and the price was reasonable. Everyone loves Blueberry field so much, because there's absolutely NOTHING else in South Holland. I suppose it's a place where stopping and having breakfast is a huge deal since, for the rest of the day you would have nothing else to do. Luckily, the stores in South Holland are legally able to do business on Sundays now for a while they were required by the city to close on Sundays.

So far this is the best breakfast that I have had in a long time. The food is amazing and the service was outstanding!!!! My server was Angie and she did an excellent job. She was so good that I told myself I would still come back even if the food was crap. Thank God the food was amazing!!! I will recommend this place to all of my friends.
