This is one of the Noodles chain restaurants. And one of the newest of them in the Chicago area. The Pad Thai was mildly spicy and very flavorful. The noodles are cooked correctly, not too soft or al dente. Each dish is prepared individually, so it is hot and flavorful. If you are looking for comfort noodle meal without a lot of fuss, you can count on Noodles. In the past I've had the stroganoff and this was good too!

Noodles & Company is pretty good when talking about waste and packaging, but a few more changes can be made in order to be less wasteful: Positives: Eat-in customers get all washable dishes and silverware. They even offer the large bottle of Siracha if you want hot sauce (instead of a small plastic one use individualized container. They provide their customer with 1 napkin per meal, which keeps people from getting up and grabbing a stack (unless they really need it). Negatives: Eating in does have some drawbacks though. Their soft drinks are served in wax-lined paper cups and their to-go containers are plastic. Their napkins could even benefit from being made from post consumer materials as opposed to bleached, virgin tree materials. Please consider upgrading your green stance, and switch to recycled napkins, a biodegradable or recycled, plant-based container for your take-out orders, and offer your customers a reusable cup for their in-shop drink consumption. These few small changes would put noodles on-top when it comes to green practices, making it just that much better :)

The service at this location is horrible. Every patron had to ask to get a table cleaned in order to sit down and eat. The staff was so busy getting ready to close that they ignored the customers. The first guy we asked to clean a table disappeared into the back, not to be seen again. Clearly in need of a new manager.

Two stars just for the fact that their staff is really friendly and I don't blame them on the quality of the establishment. The food is hearty for the price- nothing beats a spicy penne rosa after work on a cold day. Noodles and Co. always has amazing comfort food for a decent price (10 bucks a person). However, this location needs to hire more people or incentivize immediate clean up. 1) SOOOOO MESSY- my friend and I had to personally clear up the existing dishes on the table we used because there was no other place to sit. There were empty dishes on each table and booth. I know it's not even an off night because I have eaten here on countless occasions- both during the winter and summer (on the patio) and the problem prevails year round. I see employees come by with their giant black bins to take away plates but I don't know if this place is understaffed or the staff is under-tipped. It's gross and makes you wonder how clean the tables actually are. 2) Drink Machine- most of the flavors were out- they need to work on restocking that machine. I would come up with a third but reason number one is strong enough to make my point.

I frequently visit this Resturant but for some reason tonight they fail miserably. I ordered the Pesto Pasta dish and when it was served it was warm in some spots and cold in others. When I asked for the food to be warmed up the lady gave it back to the cook in the kitchen who shrugged his shoulders as if he could care less about it being cold. When brought back to the table it had some tomatoes thrown on it along with more fresh cheese as if they had reheated it but it still taste the same. I just put it in a to go box and took it home.

I stopped at this restaurant after my niece and I did some shopping because it was the only place opened after 9pm. I ordered the Pad Thai that was supposed to come with shrimp, (but no shrimp) spicy Thai soup, and the cheese bread. I wanted to taste the Pad Thai but the noodles were stuck together and I had the whole bowl of noodles on my fork instead of being able to grab a little bit. It looked like it sat for a while. That went into the trash. My niece ordered the tomato soup and spaghetti and meatballs. She ate a little bit of the soup, and the spaghetti and meatballs ended up in the trash. I don't know if it was just our order, but the food was kind of bad. I have to say that after I ate the spicy Thai soup, which was not spicy, my stomach completely turned. I lost my appetite and had the sensation that I needed to vomit. My first time visiting this restaurant and will be my last. As for the service, not sure what to say about that. I placed my order and that was that. The restaurant was really dirty especially by the concession stand.

I don't mind noodles and company when I feel like bland pasta in a hurry for under $10 but prefer to avoid it. First of all I will be avoiding this location because the guy preparing the food had a large Hairy goatee. I don't know what the food prep laws are for beards but your just asking for hair to be in the food. It's common sense. The service here has always been friendly but that just grossed me out and I can't get past it. Another tip do not pay the extra dollar or whatever it is for the side salad. It's a joke. The amount of salad they give you is actually offensive. Aside from that I will say that the steak sandwhich is pretty delicious. And worth a try if you go. The Parmesan crusted chicks is good as well. I've had the pot stickers and those are just useless.

Don't get me wrong.. I love love love N&C. Unfortunately I just do not love this location. Every time I've been inside it seems to be very unkept. The food is also not as good as say for instance the Niles location for example. I understand they are in Old Orchard so might be a little busier which I understand, but there is no excuse in my opinion for filth in an restaurant establishment. The food has always been luke warm and lacks flavor. I would suggest visiting the location on Touhy if you are determined to get N&C, stay away from this one.

Hands-down, Indonesian Peanut Sautee is my favorite dish here. Staff is friendly and food is always cooked to perfection. However, I've been here a few time to see two or three soiled tables unattended to, which doesn't help with the already limited seating. Aside from that, Noodles is my go-to place for my Indonesian Peanut Sautee craving!

Placed an online order to be picked up for my lunch break and was told to wait in a long line to pick it up. Spent half my lunch break in line! Don't think I should have to wait in the line if I ordered ahead. Other restaurants have you jump the line when picking up an online or called in order. Very upset

I fail to see why there's any excitement about Noodles & Company. It's okay. Period. The flavors aren't exciting. The noodles are mushy. The presentation is so-so. If you're having a huge crazing for pasta, this may or may not satisfy you. It's pasta, alright, but it's the McDonald's of pasta. My coworkers tend to order from Noodles & Company on a regular basis, and I've joined in. No more. My initial curiosity about this restaurant has led to indifference. I've had the pesto cavatappi, the Wisconsin Mac 'N Cheese, the buttered noodles, and the Tuscan linguine. Nothing has seriously impressed me. None of this has encouraged me to try other items on the menu. The place is called Noodles & Company, after all. If they can't get the noodles part right, why should I believe they get sandwiches or soups right? The location is on the east side of Old Orchard Mall. It's easy to find. The staff is quick to fill orders. There is an outdoor dining area that's very pleasant in the summertime. It's mall food, food court quality. If that's what floats your boat, you'll love Noodles & Company. If you have some crazy expectation that food should really taste good, take a pass.

This place was one of my favorite places during high school. I would go here all the time after school. I love noodles and pasta's and this place was perfect for me. I think I tried most of the food on the menu. I would honestly recommend everything on the menu. I recommend and have tried, Penna rosa, Japanese pan noodles, Pesto cavatappi, pad thai, steak stroganoff, whole grain tuscan, Indonesian peanut, saute, butter noodles, thai curry soup, tomato basil soup, spicy chicken Caesar. These were my favorites at one point or another but my ultimate favorite would be the Penna rosa or the spicy chicken caesar. They have a couple of dessert and drinks if you'd like. I bought the rice krispy once and it was pretty good. However, I think it was just something you can make at home. They have the option either you want small or large. I used to get small when I wasn't as hungry but nowadays, I don't think there's much difference to the price so I just get the large. Because there really is no difference. I like how you take a number and they bring the food to you. Also, an interesting thing is that on the number, they leave like a fun fact about their company and food. If you're waiting, it's just fun to read. Overall, I don't go as often now but it's really good. I always enjoy coming here.

Not bad, not great Noodles & Company is a nostalgia trip, but it's not as good as I remember it. I got the pesto capatavi with parmesan breaded chicken ($8). The chicken breast was salty and thin. The pesto sauce to pasta ratio was noticeably reduced from a few years ago. I guess that's how they keep the prices low. Ambiance & Service 4/5 Food 3/5 Value 3/5

I was in there today to get an order for pickup. I got a spicy chicken cesar sandwich and a penne rosa pasta. They forgot the dressing for the salad, and my receipt said "no tomatoes" and there were tomatoes in it! :( When I tried to call them 3 times, there was no answer.

All those bad reviews below? Lies. You never go wrong with Noodles & Co. Me and my mom have tasted everything here, from the Japanese Pan Noodles to their Legendary Wisconsin Mac & Cheese' Staff; amazing. Always nice and when my mom was being cranky about her order, they gave her an entire new plate and a coupon for my next visit. They're like besties with me and my mom and they're so dearly and kind. I've been here since 5 years ago and love this place! My favorite restaurant. Ever. Cleanliness; perfect. Not dirty at all. A review below said it was dirty!? It never is when I'm there. And they have a beautiful big place with seating and view. I've been to lots of Noodles & Co and this is the best. AMAZING. HEAVEN. In fact, I'm driving there right now.

You can't go worng with Noodles & CO. Their menu is super simple, but there's still enough of a selection. I love their parmesan crusted chicken with any noodle dish. Splash some of that sirracha on the dish and I'm in heaven. Don't get me started on their rice crispy treats either! SOOO YUMMY! Doesn't hurt that they sell liquor. They just got one of those really cool Coke machines that has over 100 flavor options. It's so much fun picking different flavored drinks when I dine there. The staff is super nice and I never have to wait a long time for my food. I'd like to know who makes the Noodles & Co. music playlist too because it's awesome!

They aren't doing anything wrong. The veggie sandwich is worth eating. The food is good. It's like a step or two up from fast food, a step down from a chain with a server (I guess the server makes a difference?) and many steps down from the place down from my house but it maybe the best option in the mall if you don't want to load up on unnecessary calories.

Although I love this place I can see a few improvement they should consider: their food isn't as flavorful as some of their other stores. Also, they don't seem to maintain cleaning the outdoor tables as well as the indoor ones. I'm very happy with the friendly staff, however!

If you've never been to Noodles before, their specialty is, well, noodles. Not that this is a surprise or anything. So what does that really mean? It means you have a pretty good variety of food options from thai to chinese to italian. We're not talking a smorgasboard, but definitely sufficient and not overpriced. You can get a soup and sandwich for about $5 - it's not going to be a huge lunch, but $5 is not bad for the area when most meals will be around $10. So with that said, Noodles is a pretty basic fast food place. What's the catch? The catch is this location. This store gets 3 stars for a very specific reason: It's very horribly kept. It'd get 2 if it weren't for the fact that service was thankfully really fast. However, that doesn't get over the fact that there was food strewn everywhere: on the tables, on the floors. When I checked in there wasn't a single table that didn't have crap all over it or underneath it or both - we literally spent 5 minutes looking for a table as we chose Noodles this day instead of The Bagel. It was a disappointment, and while I will still eat at Noodles in Evanston, I have no intention to eat at Noodles in Old Orchard Mall again.

Scott W.
It's like the Chipotle of noodles. Nothing here would be confused as authentic. However, they do a great job of providing a variety of worldly flavors of better-than-fast-food quality food at a reasonable price. Its a place the kids and I can agree on for a no frills, quick meal. Increasing the range of vegetarian options would be a bonus.

I'm no stranger to Noodles & Company. It's a quick bite & who doesn't love some carbs? This one just seemed unreasonably dirty. Over half of the tables needed to be bussed & a broom/vacuum would have just shaken its head at all the stuff on the floor. I could overlook those things if they had been busy. They were not. And call me crazy, but I'm not a fan of having someone's thumb in my salad when it's set in front of me. All I'm saying is put on a pair of gloves, please.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
