Wow. Amazing. My husband and I went to Mantra for Valentine's Day this year and weresuper impressed. It all started with a rose, which was a beautiful touch on the romantic evening. You will notice the full bar as you walk in the door. They have a nice drink selection. Unique cocktails and great beers and wine. The décor is lovely. It feels both authentic and modern. Very clean! The service was great. I had gone to a nice wine tasting earlier in the day so I was feeling kind of particular about the wine I had with dinner. The server/manager allowed me to taste the wine prior to ordering it, which was nice. Of course I didn't take advantage of that gesture, but it was nice because I didn't care for the first taste. The second taste was great and I went with it. Okay, now to the best part... the food! We started with samosas, which are always different wherever you go and pretty much always good. These were great. The pastry was thin and they were much less greasy than the standard. We also ordered the black lentil dish and the eggplant dish (the one with smaller chunks). The lentils were creamy and perfectly done. The eggplant was smoky and just amazing. I stopped eating early just so I could have round two the next day. We got plain basmati and paratha with our meal. I will definitely be coming back! On less of an exciting note, I realized my purse was missing the next day. I didn't go anywhere afterwards so I assumed it was there. I was still a bit panicked. When we went to go pick it up, they had it locked up in a safe cabinet for me. It just showed they really care and took the extra step to keep it safe.

Three stars because the setting is nice? And the service was good when I was the only one in the restaurant and the mango lassi was good. The cilantro chicken looked and tasted liked the eggplant and onions. The dishes themselves were not bad, it's just that they were not distinguishable from each other. It took quite a while to get the bill too. That always annoys me. It was a good experience in much better than bar food somewhere else.

First off this is my second time here first time was awesome and second I could laugh!!!! I say at the table by the door and asked if we can move Bc it was cold every time the door open the owner acted like I asked him to kill Someone for me.. Than Bc we moved didn't get acknowledged for over 20 min.. We finally did out Indian waiter was very nice and kind and the chips we get as appetizer amazing... Three tables came after us and we still didn't get our drinks they did and still didn't get ackowlaged Bc we moved tables!!! That's a joke!!! Valentine's Day turned into me being a cranky person !!! my same drink I got last time tasted amazing yet again this time was drinking soda water!!! It was mambo -jito and both time we came here it was freezing everyone had their jackets still on!!!! Smh owner is the bartender and takes the phone calls he needs more help!!

OK, so we visited Mantra again on July 18th and this time the experience was a very pleasant one. The service was great. I had the same group with me, my daughter, son-in-law and grandson and we enjoyed the visit. I as usual ordered my gin martini. My daughter and son in law had masala soda and a jal jeera which the bartender made it for us. They both were very good. Jal Jeera reminded me of the Jal jeera I used to have in Northern India. The Malai kababs were tender and moist, which is not easy to do when using chicken breast - we really enjoyed the Malai kababs. We had grilled lamb chops, the Mantra Paneer and Machli Palak ka salan (fish in spinach), and garlic naans. They were all great. I had no room left for dessert. My daughter and son in law shared ras malai. Great food. We also enjoyed watching the chef make rumali rotis on the patio. Glad I went back to try again. Will be back soon.

Wow! What a hidden gem. Came across this restaurant while we were in the area. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the food is even better. My picky dad who doesn't like his veggies as much, even nom nom nom his veggie paneer makhani. We also got the mantra dal. Both were delicious and the naans were soft as well. Will definitely return. 2 thumbs up guys! Love indian garden restaurants!
(5)Sam J.
We paid $54 and ordered chicken butter masala, tandoori chicken, mango brule and garlic naan. All were extremely small. The masala was in a tiny soup sized cup, one single slice of garlic naan for $5. Brule was in an extremely tiny cup. All in all, this was nothing worth to what we paid. Avoid Mantra.
(1)Gesika B.
The atmosphere and overall experience was fantastic. Lavish, our server and helped us choose an entree and dessert. He was very kind and personable making us feel welcome in a new place. We ordered potato cakes for the appetizer, chicken tandoori, cilantro curry with basmati rice and paratha for the main course and the mango creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

So I have few friends on yelp and have been yelping since 2010 long before this Resturant existed ! I am not an employee of this place , related to them in any way and paid fully for my food !! Only papads were on the house .,, Now my observations .. Great place , quick and courteous service , delicious warm authentic Indian spicy food .... Yummy !!! I have a complaint !! Why they took so long to open this . We deserved it for so long !!!!
(5)Tony M.
Mantra's interior is quite beautiful, the attention to detail and use of interior design elements transported me from Schiller Park to some exotic Indian location half a world away. I will easily rate Mantra 4 Stars and may up the rating if the consistency can be maintained on the next visit. Butter Chicken was excellent and the Naan equally as fresh and hot. Possibly my new favorite escape.
(4)Maamoun Z.
It's my third time in this place within the last few weeks. The place is one of the most cleanest Indian restaurants. People who works there are very nice and friendly. Food is very good and desert is the best I had in any Indian place. Highly recommended, definitely, I will be back again. By the way, the restaurant is new and very beautiful.
(5)Bob M.
I don't give out 5 stars very often, if ever... but this place earned it on my visit. Their food rivaled the indian food I had in england, and if you've had indian food in england, you know what I mean. I went there for lunch on a tuesday, for lunch, and even then they were pretty busy... but the service didn't suffer. The atmosphere was nice, almost too nice to be having lunch with 3 of my co-workers... I really should have brought a woman here. All the food was awesome.... the Jeera Aloo And Chana Masala, as well as the Chicken Tikka were my favorites... and we had more than enough Naan to go around with the lunch specials. Price was a bit high for lunch ($12-$14), but you will leave having eaten more than you probably should have, so, still no complaints there.
(5)Chette I.
Thought of having a dinner date with my sister and girlfriend one night and we've decided on indian food. Searched in yelp and Mantra popped out. Good reviews and I am vouching for that as well. The food was sooo good, samosa and lamd kali mirch. Very rich in taste and just the rigt amount of spiciness. The place's ambiance adds on to my vote of 5 stars plus the excellent service we've experienced. We're definitely coming back for more.
(5)Soni S.
HORRIBLE service. I went with 2 of my family members on a weekday. As soon as we reached, we were asked to wait for 15 minutes. Then we were seated and our order was taken almost 15 minutes later. Then we waited for almost 45 minutes for our food and drinks to arrive. They also forgot about one of our drinks and a side, which came later. The food was fine but if you are going there, be ready to wait for an hour before you get your food. In short- PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!!
(1)Sophia G.
Ambiance, food, and service was steller! Great experience...the interior designer did a wonderful job!! Great indoor and outdoor seating.
(5)Aseem S.
Amazing and authentic desi food. Punjabi sytle. Great ambience. Indoor n outdoor seating. Must try. !!!
(5)Lara L.
Loved this restaurant. My husband and I were in town for business and we love Indian food. The restaurant was beautiful and very clean, perhaps the cleanest bathrooms I've seen. The staff was very helpful and our server even got the manager to help us with our selections. He made a appetizer recommendation and suggested we go from there. Once he knew we loved the appetizer (lamb chops,) he suggested letting him pick the rest of the dinner - a rice, bread, chicken dish and a lamb dish. He was spot on with the choices, we love spicy food and it was amazing. I enjoy when a manager or owner offers to do this because often they know what is best in their restaurant. I've noticed the other reviews sometimes mentioning they found it odd to have to order rice and bread. I've never not had to order the rice or bread to go with the dish while eating at a Indian restaurant in the United States. (It is different in India however.) Service was outstanding as well. When we're back in town next year we will eat here again!
(5)Laura L.
We had an excellent meal here with good friends we hadn't seen in a very long time. The food was excellent. The ambiance was delightful. The server took good care of us, but left us to visit for two hours. A wonderful spot!
(5)Katie D.
A great authentic Indian restaurant. The decor and ambience is very traditional and inviting. The owners are the same as the India Garden in Chicago (which is also a great spot) Food- authentic and simply the best. The pudhina tandoor was perfect. Malai kofta highly recommend. The manager Abhilash made sure everything was good and was very welcoming in taking feedback. Great job guys looking forward to some great mocktail drink options next time :) The patio has amazing decor and would be perfect for summer time. Overall highly recommend this place!!
(5)Prajjval D.
Good food, the service was a bit slow though. They also messed up the order twice, however the hostess was gracious enough to give us a free dessert and 15% discount off the final bill:
(3)Angie R.
This was our first time eating Indian food and let me first start by saying that our server was awesome, he helped us order all the various popular Indian dishes. We had the lamb chops which were great, the naan was so fresh and melted in your mouth. The chicken dishes were great as well. The basmati rice with spinach was great. We will definately be back. The spices are so interesting and flavorful each dish tasted better than the next.
(4)Sandra G.
This place looks great in and outside - that was the reason I stop by. Very tasteful food & reasonable prices . Service was very professional and friendly . Highly recommend
(4)C. B.
Oh, wow!!! Such a great place!! The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! You don't find many places like this in the neighborhood. The food was also excellent!! And the service was awesome, too!! The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. I can't go back soon enough!! Luckily, we have reservations for tonight!!! I've been daydreaming about their food ALL week!
(5)Rob N.
The food is excellent! You'll find most of the standard dishes. But they are prepared perfectly! The meat and vegetables are tender. The rice is really fluffy. They make the best naan I've ever had! The staff is attentive, but not pushy or hovering. The decor is relaxing and everything is clean. I'll come out of my way to get back here as often as I can!
(5)Junitha M.
I was looking for an Indian restaurant closer to O'Hare airport and very happy to have found this place. Right from the entrance, seating area and interior decor is just classy. Beautifully decorated sculptures, elegant floral arrangement, excellent taste & presentation of Karavali Prawns and Mango Creme Brulee. Hyderabadi Lamb Briyani was slightly tangy (lovely presentation though; served in authentic clay pot). If you're looking for South Indian style food, this is not the place. However if you're looking for North Indian cuisine this is it. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice, romantic dinner!
(5)L Z.
I don't usually rush to post reviews but Mantra was so over the top good, I couldn't wait! We ate outside on their beautiful patio which is furnished with comfortable, classy furniture, lots of greenery, fountains and fabric draped overhead. So atmosphere was exceptional even with busy Irving Park Road there you didn't notice but felt like you were in someone's garden. The manager actually waited on us and he was lovely. So kind and helpful while guiding our menu choices. He even explained HOW they prepare the dishes. We ordered Paneer Ke Shooley at his suggestion for our appetizer. Not too spicy and oh so good! I wasn't sure which wine I wanted and he explained most of what they have is not on the menu yet. Once he asked a few preference questions he asked if he could choose for me. A fantastic Sauvignon Blanc was served. Then, each of our entrees were served one at a time so we could share them. Again he explained they prepare everything fresh so while it may take a few extra minutes, that's the reason. We really enjoyed savoring each item! As each item was served he would stop by and check to see if we were enjoying it. We had the Murg Makhmali E Zafrani which was his suggestion. The chicken was SO tender and moist. Next we had the Lamb Peshwari----to die for! The naan was the best we've ever had. We also had the rice with spinach and saffron ---superb! We didn't order dessert but were just sitting and talking after we had paid our bill. And there he was with a complimentary banana liquor for me and this ice cream, almond, pistachio thing on a stick served in a tall glass (not on the menu he told us lol). Wow!!!! Both were SO SO good! Our bill was 60.00 but considering all the food we had as well as the dessert, and a delightful experience---definitely worth it. Can't wait to go back.

This is an upscale Indian resturant, complete with delicious food, good drinks, and gorgeous decor. They have a really nice outdoor space for the warmer weather, and their bathrooms are pristine. I love the Indian music they play, and they have friendly service. There is also a tasty selection of different types of naan you can get, and awesome samosas. So glad they opened this place.
(4)Anshuman D.
Amazing authentic Indian food. Get a genuine feel for the spices, reminds me good places in India. Rarely experienced that in the US. Love it. Recommend it!
(5)Theresa J.
Got together with good friends. Great and friendly staff. We each got a different dish and shared. Try the goat is was extremely delicious. Comfortable environment and very accommodating. I will definitely come again.
(5)Jonathan E.
Great food, service and environment. So glad to find a good indian restaurant close to home. Will come back often.
(5)Dave R.
Thank you Anu for replying to my review. I understand that's how you do it, all I'm saying is if you want your customers to enjoy their meals in their entirety then maybe serve it that way. When I order fajitas at a Mexican restaurant, it comes with rice, beans and tortillas. I don't have to order those things separately. I would rather pay $5 more than to have to think if I remembered to order all the parts of my meal. That's all I'm saying.
(3)Jas D.
This rating is based on the front of the house, not the food, as I never got a chance to eat there. We didn't realize that this restaurant was "reservations only", nowhere on their website does it say that. When we got there - the restaurant was pretty empty, and the entire outside patio was empty as well. We figured it wasn't busy and it was pretty early in the evening (not yet 6 pm). So we are asked to sit in the lobby while they all pulled their hair out with one another "WHAT? no reservation??" All of this in our hearing distance. The host, says "I can seat you but I have a reservation at 7:30" (an hour and a half later) and to our astonishment, he says, "How long are you going to take?" How the heck are we supposed to know??? If the food takes over an hour for you all to make.... obviously we aren't going to inhale the food in 15 minutes. We just said "maybe another time" which meant "probably never" The host seemed relieved, which is fine with us, it would have been awkward for us to deal with him throughout the night. We headed down to Devon, to a new restaurant we found on Yelp. They had a full staff and were glad to seat us right away, even though we were taking up the last table, they were extremely considerate the food was great. When one door closes...
(1)Justin R.
The lamb curry was excellent. Talking to the owner, everything in the restaurant was built in India and shipped to the states. I will be back tomorrow for grilled lamb chops.
(5)Mae B.
My girlfriend and I went here one time about few months ago and we loved the food. Liked the lamb! We also had a chance to speak to one of the owners. Staff are friendly. Decent price too!
(4)Richard M.
Outstanding food and service. This place was pretty quiet, and initially I thought I might have walked into a much more expensive restaurant than I intended. But, the prices were quite reasonable, and the portions were substantial. I ordered the Mantra Paneer (not mutta) and it was very tasty. Well spiced and full of flavor, but not overly spicy. I also had the Naan Basket which had a sampling. The Onion Naan was the best of four good choices. One note for my fellow Americans that didn't grow up on Indian food, if you order something that you would traditionally eat with rice, you'll need to order the rice. They have a few selections. Great for vegetarians, and non-vegetarians. Seems like a great place for date night, but I was on business and it was good for a night out alone too. Very convenient to the ORD hotels.
(5)A J.
Great food, must go! Reminds me I am eating in delhi..
(5)Mary M.
I think this is the best Indian restaurant ever! Just a personal opinion, I guess, but the meal I received was beyond any I have had before (and I have eaten a lot of Indian). The service was impeccable, as well, and they make great recommendations.
(5)Elzbieta P.
I got there 1 pm on Wednesday and most of the people were finishing their lunch already. I was seated after few minutes and waited 25 minutes to order bc nobody even came. By that time place was already empty. We order , food got to us after 30 minutes but naan bread 15 minutes later ( which was very annoying ). We had chicken tandoori, chicken butter masala, garbanzo beans, spinach pulav and butter naan. Everything was very tasty but tandoori chicken seemed baked. I ordered spicy and it was barely spicy. Chicken butter masala was goid but I had much better in Himalayan restaurant and India House. Garbanzo beans were goid, spinach pulav also but India House has much better. I have never had better naan bread than here. It was very light and fluffy, just delish. Overall the food was good but the stuff terrible. I got only half of my leftovers, I had to give the guy credit card bc I just couldn't wait for the check anymore. 2 hours lunch and we ate maybe 20 minutes, rest of the time was waiting. Terrible experience. Unfortunately won't be back.
(2)Natasha A.
We got here and ordered paneer ke shooley, dahi ke kabob, and Pathar ke kabob for appetizers. We did not like any of them, we even had to send the dahi kabobs back cause they tasted like spoiled yogurt had been used. For the main course we ordered murgh tikka butter masala, mutton chop lababdar, dal bukhara, bullet naan, butter naan, and parantha. The main course was delicious! The adrak lassi, mango brûlée, and gulab jamun were also really good. The server was really nice and attentive. Would defiantly go back. Just not for the appetizers!!
(4)Mr B.
Have been here twice - once for dinner with a group and then for lunch. Both times food tasted good and the service was decent. For lunch during the weekdays, they have power lunch. I felt it was good sized portion ( I always end up overeating in buffet lunch).
(4)Nachiket D.
Just had their power lunch with chicken tikka n chicken curry...... It's mind blowing..... Here you will not get typical lunch buffet but their power lunch is too much for one person... On an average its $$ .... Best ambiance for lunch and dinner....
(5)Verushka P.
This is a well presented Indian restaurant with buddha statues and beautiful water features. The decor looks gorgeous and well put together and the ambience is great! Service is great too. I loved all the meals as they use saffron and dye free sauces in their preparation of their cuisines. I enjoyed my whole experience here, especially because it's situated in a location that's nowhere near the city. I will definitely be going back!
(5)Jaxon J.
Ridiculous service. We went as a big party but waited for half an hour before someone even came to take our order. Half the things we ordered didn't even show up. We had to ask for everything... Silverware, water, achar... Everything. The food was okay but the service was so poor, we weren't able to enjoy it. Save your time and money.
(1)Atul P.
Well designed interior with nice Indian meal offerings. I was there at beginning of day so felt a little ignored by all but overall nice food.
(5)Erin M.
Interior is attractive, the service was excellent, food is superb, and portions are huge (about twice as large as you normally get for Indian food). I just had the most delicious Indian dish I've eaten in about ten years, and for nearly seven years I lived less than a mile from Devon Street (Chicago's Indian neighborhood). The chicken with almond sauce was rich, with subtle layered flavors on top of succulent moist chicken, a "must try"
(5)R J.
Spectacular indian restaurant. Clean, friendly staff and amazing food. I couldn't have asked for better. The dal makhani is outstanding. We have been here several times now and have never been disappointed!
(5)Brandon C.
Great service, great decor and delicious food. Best of all its conveniently located 5 minutes from O'Hare Airport. Mantra is definitely in my top 5 Indian food Resturaunts ever!
(5)Nancy T.
We were at Mantra for the Mother's day dinner. It was an Awesome experience. The food was delicious. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was good and they went an extra mile to make our experience a memorable one. Highly recommend their Lamb chops , Goat curry , Shammi Kababs and Amritsari Fish. Keep up the good work , we will definitely be back with even bigger group of family and friends :)
(5)Rosie A.
Best Indian food around! Staff is great and they have tons of options... The vegetarian plates are great and you can't go wrong with their different types of naan ... Their lamb is amazing and I don't like it normally! If you haven't tried it go for it!
(5)Kristine D.
Beautiful decor! Great service and even better food. Very fresh! I will be back!
(4)Charlie F.
Just ate at Mantra last night and I was REALLY impressed. We ordered several appetizers and several entrees to split between the table. Everything was very good, spiced well, flavorful and executed perfectly. We had samosas, fritters, lamb chops, chicken tikka, chicken tikka masala, lentils, eggplant, naan and every single item I would order again. I've been searching for a great Indian Restaurant in the Chicagoland area and this is a gem. The atmosphere and the service were also very good. The patio is absolutely beautiful and the inside was nicely decorated, modern and clean. I will absolutely go back here frequently.
(5)Eleni B.
Finally I found it. It took me 3 years to find a restaurant that is better than most near my neighborhood. We went on Sunday. It was quiet, which I much prefer. We were greeted very warmly by the manager, Abilash. He suggested that we start off with something not as common as a Samosa, but recommended the Paneer ke shooley. It was wonderful. That set the tone for the rest of the meal. We tried many, many dishes (6 entrees in total) with the intent of taking food home with us. We were delighted to have found that everything (and I mean everything) was superb. My favorite were the lamb chops. A cut above what was already amazing. Thank you Abi for the recommendations and a truly fantastic experience. Looking forward to becoming a regular. Oh, and the decor and music was wonderful. Plus plus review!
(5)Jen R.
Came here for lunch...they do not have the typical lunch buffet so offer some ready-to-go "power lunches" instead which include naan and a drink. The prices seemed steep at first, until we realized the quality of the food is above average! Plan on an hour for lunch. Server was knowledgeable and helpful. Payment was quick and easy on the ipad. Ambiance lovely, enjoyed sitting outside. Will definitely return!
(5)S S.
14the Feb 2015 - update to the earlier review I'm changing the rating from 5 stars to 3. The food is still good, but the service is horrible. They took forever to get us the food. Also, the quantity of the food has reduced. Which makes this even more expensive. Bottomline - I'm not coming here again. ----------- Best North Indian food in Chicago. Expect the flavor of home-cooked food. This restaurant is only a month old. The decor is beautiful. I tried kadhi, chhole, and zeera aloo and everything was perfect. I am looking forward to going there again and trying the other items on the menu.
(3)Marcela B.
Unbelievable service and the good and drinks are delicious!!! Definitely bringing my friends and family here!!!!!! A total gem!
(5)Shafqut K.

(5)Rahul S.
Had a dinner here along with a couple of friends on a friday evening ,food was excellent .Would have given five star if not for the rude waiter ,who took our order.
(3)Jas G.
So we were here for some shopping at the fashion outlets and visited this restaurant for dinner! Oh my god! It is so beautifully made and the food is just so so tasty! We ordered raj kachori for starters followed by murgh malai and butter nan! Just loved the food and the service! We were served by Lovish who is a very soft spoken and sweet guy! We would definitely revisit this place!
(5)Rob J.
My girlfriend and I were interested to try Indian Food for the first time and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. Restaurant was beautiful, and staff was super friendly. Since it was our first time eating Indian food, we had a ton of questions. The owner even came over and helped us find recommend dishes that we would like. We ordered 5 small plates that he personally recommend, and we loved each one. Food had so much flavor! The owner even made sure to highlight the items we had tonight to remember the plates we enjoyed. As well as checked some recommend items for next time. Overall the experience was fantastic, can't wait to go back!
(5)Yari P.
First time here. Came with a party of 5. It was pretty empty for a Wednesday evening. Only a couple people. It seemed as if they had the AC on because it was super cold inside. Coming from the outside where it's 22°, I wanted a nice, warm and cozy place to eat. Total downer! Ordered Lamb chops, shrimp curry, chicken in tomato sauce, fish curry, saffron rice pilaf, and assorted bread basket. To drink some sodas and Mango Lassis which were pretty good. The Lamb chops were good as Well as the shrimp. The chicken and fish dishes were not pleasant whatsoever. Service was scattered. Had one person take our order for drinks, another for food, and another was kinda just wandering around like a headless chicken. They all took turns to ask if we were OK and refill drinks. Kinda strange and annoying if you ask me. The one who took our entree order was knowledgeable and made some suggestions. It was appreciated, however, we probably should've passed up on the chicken and fish dishes. The staff was nice and attentive but I have to say.... service was SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! It was my birthday and I had asked the server that was wandering around if they offered a dessert "on the house" for birthdays. He said no but a little later, the one that took our entree order asked who's birthday it was. Told him it was mine and a little later, the lights were dimmed and they brought out a creme brulee type dessert with a candle and icecream like desserts for the rest of my party while a funny, yet thoughtful Birthday song played over the speakers. That was sweet and unexpected. Solely based on that gesture alone, I would give this place 5 stars. Overall the service was slow and confusing (although the employees were nice) and food was 50/50. Took FOREVER to get the check. Was I crazy about any of the dishes?? No. Nothing I would go home and rave about. Will I be coming back? Possibly if I crave Lamb chops and don't feel like getting fancy and drive further to go to Capital Grille. :)

Great food and excellent service! Lovely maharaja style interiors! Highly recommend this location.
(5)Sal S.
Great Place, 5 stars for food. We made reservations and our table was ready when I walked inn. our seats were very hard to get too. I think they forgot to assign the table to one server, bartender took the order, i ordered samosa, methi tikki, kadai seekh kabob, amritsari machi, chicken shami kabob. Amritasi fish is the best i ever had out of Amritsar, its just great. mumbai jito did get to me after i was done with the appetizer chutney and pappad came after i was done with chicken kabob and i had to ask for it twice. asked for napkins never got any. few times i felt like no one wanted to serve us. main course we ordered lamb peshwari, dhani matki, nawabi tarkari biryani, hyderabadi biryani, lahori biryani, dil khush kofta. Every single food item was perfect. but just because the shuffle of servers and no follow up after they served us main course. killed the mood. at one moment i was going to just walk up to the bartender to order more naan because no one came to the table. hopefully they fixed that. and they do have weekend specials, servers will not tell you, and the its on the last page of the menu. when i read about the tandoori red snapper it was too late. i have to go back for that.

Very tasty food and very polite and welcoming staff. Will definitely be returning and bringing friends.

Mantras interior was very nice, sight, sound and smell. The service was also very nice and they were very helpful. The food was also very very good. The reason I'm taking 1 star off is the fact that they served us noticeably old shrimp which was very shocking considering how clean and well prepared everything else was. Another qualm I have is that the entrees are a la carte which seems silly to me especially considering the price of the entrees and how cheap rice cost to make

This is our second time eating at Mantra. Initially, we ordered take out. The restaurant ambiance and the food was so incredible, we decided to dine in on our second trip. We recently moved to Oak Park & were so excited that Indian Garden's sister restaurant was so close to our home. Mantra's food is incredible. Unfortunately, I am still unsettled by the poor service we received. Especially after reading all the yelp posting about the exceptional service. So disappointing. We have no future plans to dine in again. Alex, the busier gave better service attending to our water than our server. Why wasn't he taking tables? Instead, the restaurant had two servers attending to the entire restaurant. At the end of our unnecessarily long dining experience, I gave feedback about the poor service to the manager. She shared that the servers are not assigned tables. Big mistake. We watched as other diners were being served as we had to continue to ask Alex for something or go up to the bar. What's even more unsettling is that the owners were at the restaurant and paid very little attention to the patrons. At one point, assumed friends of the owners arrived & Ana, the owner sat down. She paid No attention to her surrounding or making sure the other patrons were having a positive dining experience. Managements lackadaisical attitude toward my feedback was very disappointing. We gave constructive feedback & felt the restaurant made very little attempt to win us back or to be apologetic. I sincerely hope the owners and management make changes to the way patrons are serviced and delivers exceptional service to match with the incredible food and decor.

I had been waiting for this restaurant to open for a while as there aren't a lot of Indian places in the area. Wow! Not only is the decor stunning but the food was fantastic. We ordered the veggie samosas, saag paneer, & dil khush kofta with rice & garlic naan and we were very impressed. Just spicy enough and so flavorful. We are already planning our trip back. It was also nice to hear that they deliver. Also, the staff was all very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. It has a modern, updated decor, and the outside patio is large and gorgeous. Everything we ate was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Portion sizes and prices are both reasonable, allowing you to try several dishes. The service staff and manager were friendly and informative, and made us feel like valued guests. Give this restaurant a try - you'll be glad you did!
(5)Chhavi S.
Great food, great customer service, and great ambiance! Mantra is owned by the owners of the Indian Garden in downtown Chicago, which hands down is the best indian restaurant in the city, so you know it's going to be great! Can't wait to go back and try again!
(5)Lynn L.
im so mad i didnt take pics!! all the food and DESSERTS were gorgeous! the outside seating area was perfect, especially with the low lights. my friends and i could not have had a better experience than our first time there. from the second we parked to the second we left ... perdect!! the service was excellent - abi was our server and he was incredible!! he took the time to explain what the different dishes were and gave excellent suggestions (get the lamb!!). we ordered several dishes that were shared among the five of us and they were all perfect. the appetizers were cooked and prepared so well. their samosas were delicious, so flavorful! the lamb just fell off the bones and and the chicken dishes were so right and tender. none of the dishes overpowered the others. so much wonderful aroma, so many delicious tastes. and heres the best part of it all ... dessert. three words: mango. creme. brulee!!!! oh yes ... you must. perfect end to such great foods!! also, the owner, anu, was an absolute delight. she came by to say hi and welcome us and chatted w us for several minutes. it was great to meet her and we cant wait to get back there for more of their goodness!!! added bonus - arun, another employee, was also very helpful!!
(5)Michael R.
Very friendly staff, food is delicious. They even held us a table while we drove from airport to dinner. One other thing - their copper beer mugs keep beer cold for an unusually long time. Two thumbs up.
(5)David T.
The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The decor makes the place feel like your somewhere else. Mantra is an Indian oasis on the northwest side of Chicago.
(5)Hiren P.
We went to this place because a friend recommended it. First impression was very positive because as soon as we entered, we were greeted right away (not typical for an Indian restaurant). We as asked for a table for 4 and requested to sit on the outside patio. The ambiance is A+. Now the trouble the starts, the service is below average. We ordered drinks and appetizers. We got our appetizers but the drinks were no where to be seen. We finished the appetizers and were still waiting for drinks. Finally, the drinks arrived after a long wait. The mango lassi was warm and typically it is supposed to be served cold. The beer was served in warm glasses. We were ready to order the main course, but there was nobody to take the order. 2 servers walked and asked if we had placed ordered but nobody took the order. Eventually, we placed the order and the food arrived shortly. Food was good...

Visited for dinner when I had a curry craving. The food is really good compared to other indian restaurants but not the best I've ever had. I still think India House is better. We ordered the biryani which was the favorite and the cilantro chicken curry which was very flavorful. We also ordered garlic naan and basmati rice, side dishes that you must pay for! I feel like rice and naan should be free when you are paying $15 for each curry dish. I thought the quality of the ingredients was very good, but they skimped on the chicken. Both chicken dishes did not have enough meat to warrant the $15 price. When I order Biryani i'm not paying for seasoned rice, I'm paying for the meat mostly and there was not enough. It is a huge pet peeve of mine when indian restaurants come out with this heaping bowl of biryani and you're all excited only to find later that its mostly rice and hardly any chicken. It seems very cheap to me. For dessert we had the gulab jamun which was quite a treat, moist sweet and they had some nice touches like shaved almonds and raisins which I enjoyed. Total price was 50 which was steep for the amount of food we had, I think we are also paying for the nice ambience as well. I would dine there again but not too frequently bc of price.

First of all this is by far the best place to experience true indian food in chicago period. i have had a love affair with indian food for years, tasted indian food around the world. getting back from a trip to amsterdam and dealing with pneumonia from getting caught in the rain on a scooter in centrum dam. the proposition of going out in the cold was daunting to say the least. i have tried all of the indian places around me in elk grove including mantra. wanting indian food i called all the places around me thinking mantra would be to far for delivery. not one place offered delivery :{ . seeing my chances for indian slipping away i made a very non expecting call to mantra. the staff went out of there way to accomadate me as a valued customer, for a small upcharge on the delivery they drove to devon and ridge. its obvious mantra really wants you to enjoy their wonderful food. from the decor to the cleansiness of the establishment it shows. then when you taste the obvious love and effort they instill into there food you are sure to make this a regular stop. Thank you mantra for your devine food and your dedication to your customers. Alot of places could take a lesson from you. One more thing this is not the cheapest place for indian food when you taste it youll know why the quality is uplifting. same review on urbanspoon

Wow! My tastebuds just touched the appetizer "Karavali Shrimp". Magnificent! I stopped in on a Tuesday evening and was warmly welcomed. The smells are amazing- and the food is among the best I've had in a long time! Everything was FRESH tasting, and freshly made. It was a little ion the expensive side- I spent about $60 for dinner and a beer, but the flavors were worth it. I have eaten and reviewed a number of Indian restaurants in the USA and in the United Kingdom- and I can tell you this one is among the best in the world. Spend an evening here and enjoy the authentic culture, flavors, smells, and sensations- you will be glad you did! Amazing place- five stars!
(5)Nitasha B.
We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to pay a visit here. The food is pricey but the venue does deliver. The Devore is great and really does fit it's indian name. The food is delicious and very authentic. We ordered the Prawn karwali as everyone advices on Yelp and it was delicious. Prawns were fresh and well cooked. We then ordered the chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani which was delicious. Spice was great and good quantity. A must try for Indian food.

Very good and very authentic.

Since I keep coming back to this place to experience the taste of my favorite dishes again and again, I wanted to update my initial 5-star review with more detailed one. The Food - there is just the right amount and wonderful combination of spices, very well-balanced dishes, here are some of my favorites: - Murgh Makhani (creamy tomato gravy chicken) and Saffron Rice is amazingly delicious together. - For Vegetarian dish Braised Eggplant is really good, it is first cooked in Tandoor oven, so has some smoky flavor. - Any tandoor dishes are great, I personally like the classic Tandoori Chicken Indian Delicacy Chicken Cooked In Clay Oven the most. - I really love the bread in this place: Garlic Mozarella Naan is always hot fresh and tasty. I even found a great tasting Californian Cabernet on the menu for reasonable price. The place is cosy with a nice interior. What's not to love?! :) I will be back there again soon.
(5)Sankhadip B.
Good food n good service one of the best Indian Restaurent of Chicago land. Kashmiri naan is a must for all naan lovers. Hyderabadi dum Biriyani is also good. For veg paneer ka sholay is a must
(5)Jaspreet S.
The one star is just for the food and ambience. The service was very bad. Had to keep searching for around 10 minutes just to get salt. One of the staff was really really pathetic. We had ordered for 4 Bullet Naans, 3 Lachcha Parathas , 1 missi Roti , 1 roti and 1 Garlic naan along with the entrees. The order came and we started our dinner. Then we realized that the Garlic Naan never arrived. We told the waiter about the same and couple of minutes back the other person who had served food and started arguing that he had served the Garlic Naan and started checking our table. Finally I had to say that why would we lie for one Naan but he never admitted it. He goes back and then a lady comes up and we have to again tell her about the situation. Finally she agreed to and told that the Garlic naan would be served soon and it was served. But then when the bill came, the Garlic naan was charged twice(which I coincidently checked) and then I had to ask to get it removed. Also, this was the first place ever where Masala Chaach had sugar. I mean who puts sugar in Masala Chaach. Might not go back to the place again.

Wow, where do I begin on this one. They've spent some money into classing this place up - especially as Indian restaurants go. One thing I noticed that was a little puzzling was that the bottom of one of the legs of the barstools looked like it had been attacked by termites. I can't recall ever seeing that kind of "wear" on a wood leg before. I was seated fairly promptly - most patrons were outside as they do have a nicely done outside dining area. There were two options for Indian lagers on the menu - Kingfisher and Taj Mahal in both 12oz and 22oz sizes. So I ordered a 22oz Kingfisher. But the waiter delivered an opened 12oz one. I asked what happened to my 22oz beer. He didn't clearly say anything, so I probed and asked if they were out of those and he kind of said yes. Too bad they just didn't tell me at the outset, I might have opted for a 22oz Taj, but at this point, oh well. So I peruse the menu... some interesting dishes. I typically look for chicken saag or chicken palak, but I didn't see any of those options. There was however an almond chicken dish that I have had before at my favorite Indian restaurant, so I ordered that. Now here's the sad news... everything is ala carte so even though the entrée was $15 (and the same size as I'd expect anywhere else), all you get is the entrée. Add $4 for rice, add $3 for one piece of naan. Bottom line is that along with the beer, I spent $30 for a dinner that I can get for $20-$24 at most Indian restaurants, with the only difference being "ambience". Which leads me to my conclusion... I liked the food enough to return, but when factoring in the premium price, it just doesn't make sense to go back anytime soon, if ever. I don't think I've ever reviewed a place that led to a summary like this, but there it is. Really good food, adequate service and New York City prices in downtown Schiller Park.

Food was very tasteful. Service was not up to par. I will admit it was Saturday night and the parking lot was packed on arrival but busy times do not negate customer service. I had to ask for water twice, waiter came over once during our visit, and after i asked the server if we can get our check my date still had to walk to the desk at the front and pay because they were taking too long. Ambiance is very tasteful and the three stars are only for the food. Please invest in management and. Staff communication during busy shifts potential is present.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Usually with Indian restaurants they can be a small hole in the wall type. This restaurant has amazing food and wonderful ambience. We had four vegetarian entrées and they were also good that we shared amongst the party of four that we were with. The service was great and very fast. But there's not enough that can be said about the food. The aloo gobi, masala, dal and garbanzo dishes were all delicious, I will definitely return to this place next time I am in Chicago. It is hard to say that because there are so many options for restaurants in the city but being close to the airport there's no reason why I will not go again!
(5)Sid B.
We had three Indian families dine here for first time as a group and we were not disappointed. The food was really good to our surprise. The ambience is great inside and outside. They have a nice patio with fire places going. The drinks menu has a good selection of scotches and wines. Food from appetizers to entrees was good. The Daal Bulhara is out of the world with Malai Kofta and Kadai Paneer. We also ordered the Cilantro Chicken. The breads were to die for. Fresh, with a lot of love(butter) and soft. I wanna come back and try other dishes.
(5)Sai P.
First word Late. Second word wait!! You wait to give name for wait list. You wait to get into seat. You wait to order. You get food late. Only thing that was fast is my check. Very sub par experience. Would never visit again. And food is mediocre and non authentic Indian food. I've seen that the waiter is biased, served some other people who came after us and kept us waiting. More over they missed bringing an item, when asked nobody brought it. What a shame.

Full disclosure, I am from south east Asia. That means I have been exposed to real Indian food. I have not been impressed with the Indian cuisine in Midwest where I live now. Mantra surprised me. We came here to celebrate a birthday and arrived as they opened at 11am. There were outdoor settings that were tempting but server reminded us that food cools faster outside. We ate indoors and no regrets. Decor - well decorated as other reviewers had noted. Bright color chairs. Women's bathroom has a pleasant surprise (no spoiler here). Good - excellent lamb chops. Wished we can order another plate. The samosa were also good. We also had chicken tikka masala, chicken curry and braised egg plant curry with assorted bread. Although these are all curries, they taste different. All of them are "spicy" as in flavorful, not hot and spicy that you can't taste anything. On the contrary you can taste everything. Highly recommended. Will repeat.
(5)Tristan C.
The food is really good. I've been here a bunch of times and it's always been good. The chicken with almond sauce is fantastic. The service is spotty and during my most recent visit, bordering on bizarre. But probably worth it anyway, if you want good indian food and you are in the area.
(3)Steve K.
I rarely give 5 stars but this place almost hit that high of a mark, for the food alone. I've been to a lot of top Indian restaurants. I've been to a lot of spots on Devon. This is the best tasting chicken tikka masala I have ever had and That is based on more than 25-30 Indian restaurants, including great spots in London (people who have been to London know what I am talking about). Service was lacking a bit so I can't give 5 stars. The owner came over and chatted us up. She couldn't have been nicer. Nice decor as well. I will most certainly be back.
(4)leah g.
Would be 5 stars as the food was out of this world. The service was very poor (in attentive and mistakes made with orders). We had a very young waiter who appeared inexperienced. We still had a great time but if they can beef up the service element of their restaurant this will be 5 stars for sure!! Beautiful outdoor patio that makes you feel you are anywhere but Shiller Park!
(4)Arvind W.
Gem of a place to eat indian food. They prepared all of our order (Veg Biriyani, Aloo Kali mirch, Paneer tikka masala, Bullet naan and Roti) to the correct spice/hotness level and I was impressed! The prices are a bit on the high side but the ambiance does look like a fine dining restaurant. Thumbs up!
(5)Dana P.
I love this place I make delivery most of the time or u pick up. I went to dine in. Food never disappoint but the service was ok. I had like 4 different server and it was kinda slow. We could not finish our food so we made it to go. And one of the item was missing. Lol. I still love this place and will visit again....
(3)Brianna L.
The atmosphere is calming & beautiful. A tad bright, but none the less it is beautiful. This the nicest looking Indian restaurant I've ever been to. I do they think should slightly dim the lights at night to make it even more welcoming. To start we had the veggie samosas. Yum! Perfectly soft potatoes w/crisp peas and just the right about of spice. It's a serving of 2. 1st entree was pepper chicken. It was tasty. I could've gone without the cinnamon pieces in my mouth tho. 2nd entrée chicken biranyi. It was delicious! It had a lil spice, the tenderest chicken of my life, fluffy rice, and great flavor. I love a good biranyi. Free treat: a glass of idk what it was called. It was a rose & lime drink. It was interesting & tasty. I wish I knew the name. It'd go perfectly with the Titos vodka they have at the bar. A few things I found strange for an Indian restaurant. 1. The non rice meals do NOT come with rice....whaaaat?!? 2. They charge for naan. And again....whaaaaat?!? These 2 things are standard in Indian cuisine and usually come with the experience of Indian dining. I think for the price of the non rice meals they should come with rice. The service was GREAT! Every server in the place checked on us throughout our meal and kept our water glasses full. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area and wanting a good meal with a beautiful atmosphere. Our total for an appetizer and 2 entrées was $38 & some change.
(4)Karolina T.
First of all, this place's decor is absolutely stunning and lavish. It creates an amazing atmosphere. I came here with my boyfriend on a whim, and it was our first time trying Indian food so we didn't know what to except. The staff was super friendly and the manager came over right away and introduced himself. He helped make recommendations throughout our entire experience there and at the end of the dinner even marked which dishes we tried and liked. We thought that all the food was very flavorful and very good. We really liked that all the dishes were sharable so that you could try a great variety of their menu. Although we came in the winter, I am positive that we will be back to check out their patio in the summer. I highly recommend going out of your comfort zone and checking this place out!
(4)Brian O.
I thought the food here was mediocre! Really nice place, but the food should be served more hot, the dishes I thought were not heated appropriately. I did love the tandoori chicken! The wait staff was really friendly and provided suggestions which was helpful.
(3)Jidd M.
Great I love it this will be my new favorite restaurant I recommend this place good food
(5)Sanghamitra C.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the Chicago 'burbs. First of all, the staff, all of them were very friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the decor was very pleasing to the eyes. They also have an outdoor seating area which is pretty cool too. Last of all, the food is just Awesome! Mantra is not your typical Devon-esque Indian restaurant. We had Amritsari Machhi and it was so good that my fussy three year old said "Nom-Nom!" So there goes your perfectly unbiased review. We had Missi Roti, Kali mirch murgh tikka ( it was very juicy), goat Peshawari & dal Bukhara. All of them were very, very delicious. My Cocktail was Mango Lassi--- gin with yogurt liqueur. Yum-yum. All in all, we would love to come back here. If you're looking for a weekend visit to Mantra, make sure you have reservation.
(5)Lisa K.
The service is very attentive and they will go over everything with you if you are not familiar with Indian Cuisine. They chose the wine for us, a very tasty white mango wine. I've been here several times and I'm never disappointed.
(5)Ashley R.
Very disappointed in this place! Food is just ok but does not really make up for the bad service. It makes me sad to leave a negative review with only one star.First of all the server was very rude and unpleasant as we seated like he just to take our order and get over it with it kind of an expressions ( not a big fan).
(1)Mirza M.
This establishment is simply amazing. The ambience was on point, food was delicious, staff was friendly and very helpful. We had million questions and the friendly waiter took his time to explain everything we were curious about and made some great suggestions. Definitely coming back here again and taking at least 50 of the veggie samosas to go!
(5)Rob D.
Fantastic service! Gorgeous atmosphere! Absolutely delicious food! I had the the spicy tofu! To die for! :)
(5)Mandie L.
Every time I go to the Chicago Outlet I must stop here for lunch or dinner! Great food at a great price!

MAfter I 1st visit I re visited this place thrice and had some great food. They recently started serving rumali roti ,which was yummm. Definitely would recommended this place.
(5)Joanna T.
Mantra was pretty darn good. I ordered from here based on the good Yelp reviews (and the fact that it was close to my hotel) and wasn't disappointed. App: A I ordered samosas and Mantra's version was excellent. It comes in an order of (2) very large samosas and the filling is great - full of spices and a little bit spicy hot. Loved. Entrée: C I ordered Murgh Dhansk which is described as "chicken braised in lentils and vegetables" and I requested it "spicy". Well....it really wasn't spicy at all, probably a 2.5 or a 3 out of 10 for me. And the stew was pretty thin - more like a watery lentil soup with chunks of chicken added. That said, the flavors were definitely good and I enjoyed it but would order something else next time. Carbs: A/C Here you need to order rice/naan separately. I sprung for the pea pullao which is basmati rice with peas and flavored with saffron. Excellent - and I did see some saffron threads in there. The naan on the other hand was "ok". I went with the plain as they didn't have garlic naan, just garlic cheese naan. Overall: B+ It's a nice place with good service and generally above average food. I especially liked that they didn't skimp on spices (flavor spices not hot spices) meaning everything I ate had tons of flavor. Portion sizes were good for price too - my leftovers were more than enough for another meal. If you're in the O'Hare area, for the love of God skip Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill and head over to Manta for some real food! (And if you're feeling lazy, they'll deliver)

Let me start with as my wife and I were taken to our table we noticed a quarter size dead bug on the table, I pointed it out to the hostess she went to get some one else to remove it. (we should have left then but didn't) After a WHILE some one came to ask if we wanted something to drink and to take our order. We asked a few questions about the menu and placed our order and the waiter asked us if we wanted rice we said yes. (he never said there would be a $4.00 charge. for me that's a problem) It's not the amount it's the lack of communication about the surprise that was going to show up on the check. Again after a WHILE the food came, all the while I was being dripped on from water falling from the A/C vent above our heads. We finished our meal and my wife had to ask for the check (which was TOSSED on the table in front of my wife) once we saw our waiter again I showed him where the water was coming from and he said, "I'll have to tell some one" no apology or anything even close. The food was ok but the overall experience was not what we had hoped for. This was on Saturday 8-15-15 around 6pm. Barb and Bob River Grove

I went here for dinner last night with colleagues who are from and live in Delhi. The food was excellent and the place was buzzing with activity. We sat outside on the patio. My colleagues said that it was the best Indian food that they have had anywhere in the U.S, The service was not great at first, but once things got going, it was wonderful. They even arranged to have one of their employees drive us back to our hotel. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Halal meat in an Indian restaurant is a total turn off. I see that its happening in more & more Indian restaurants as if Indian restaurant are either under some kind of a threat to serve the halal meat or the halal meat is dirt cheap. I ordered couple of curries & was surprised to findout that this restaurant doesn't serve either rice or naan with the curry. You have to pay for the rice. What a greedy restaurant!! All Indian restaurants serve either rice or naan with the curry but not this restaurant. Food was ok but nothing to rev about.

Recently took a dear friend here for her "Big Birthday". The manager asked if he could cook for us and make us something special. If you are ever asked this question, the answer should always be "Yes!". Especially at Mantra. We were asked our likes and dislikes and in a few minutes,we had food fit for royalty! We each had a delightful cocktail, one fruity, one refreshing. Both delicious! We split the Paneer Shooley. Always wonderful. My friend had the Chicken Tikka and I had a wonderful vegetarian dish not on the menu, plus rice and Garlic Parmesan Naan. We ate, but, the food did not seem to disappear, such generous portions! For dessert, we had a delightful Mango Creme Brulee'.What a wonderful way to celebrate my friend's birthday. Thank you so very much,Mantra!
(5)Mat S.
Great curry, good amount of vegetarian options. Make sure you order the wheat bread if you choose a curry! Service wasn't great, but kind of what you'd expect as a trade-off for the authentic food.
(5)Ayshvar B.
Ambience is nice with a lot of old school Indian artifacts. The staff is very polite and are really good at recommendations. We ordered a multitude of dishes with medium spice level 1. Chicken tikka butter masala - the chicken was nicely cooked and the gravy tasted fresh and not too oily. The flavor was nice and not too overwhelming. 2. Goat curry- the goat was really fresh , soft and the gravy complained the dish. 3. Dal tadka - the simplest dish was what brought the whole meal together. It was flavorful and very simple. 4. Paneer tikka masala- all I can say was awesome. Nice food with the a good ambience. You might want to reserve your table early on and try to get there earlier for dinner to get parking , as its limited.
(4)Mike M.
I was happy to find an Indian option on Eat24 that would deliver to my hotel, and I was even happier with my dinner. The restaurant called before they left to deliver my food to inform me they did not have Limca but could send over a Nimboo Pani - a lemonade type drink that was really good with my goat pashawri. I have to say that they're delivery guy was the fanciest delivery guy I've ever seen; he was wearing a vest and tie. One note that I must have missed in the few reviews I read is that rice is not included with you entree. So make sure you spend the three dollars on rice or on naan or something to enjoy your food a little more.

Since I keep coming back to this place to experience the taste of my favorite dishes again and again, I wanted to update my initial 5-star review with more detailed one. I even found a great tasting Californian Cabernet on the menu for reasonable price. The place is cosy with a nice interior. What's not to love?! :) I will be back there again soon.

(5)Samhita R.
MAfter I 1st visit I re visited this place thrice and had some great food. They recently started serving rumali roti ,which was yummm. Definitely would recommended this place.
(5)Black L.

Very good and very authentic.

Wow.
(5)Thomas B.

(4)Neema P.

(5)Mike M.
(4)Bob M.

Amazing and authentic desi food. Punjabi sytle. Great ambience. Indoor n outdoor seating. Must try. !!!

(5)Angie R.

This place looks great in and outside - that was the reason I stop by. Very tasteful food & reasonable prices . Service was very professional and friendly . Highly recommend

Great food, service and environment. So glad to find a good indian restaurant close to home. Will come back often.

(3)Rob N.

Had a dinner here along with a couple of friends on a friday evening ,food was excellent .Would have given five star if not for the rude waiter ,who took our order.

(5)Michael M.
Mantras interior was very nice, sight, sound and smell. The service was also very nice and they were very helpful. The food was also very very good. The reason I'm taking 1 star off is the fact that they served us noticeably old shrimp which was very shocking considering how clean and well prepared everything else was. Another qualm I have is that the entrees are a la carte which seems silly to me especially considering the price of the entrees and how cheap rice cost to make
(4)Jodi R.
(3)Michelle M.
(5)Marilyn K.
