Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I honestly don't think I've ever eaten at Uno before....why does that surprise me?? Seems a place that I'd have frequented in the past but don't think so. Well, I was planning on Panera next door for some soup but spotted Uno's adverts for daily soup specials and wanted to check it out. They have five to six giant crocs full of soup and the bowls w. crackers and spoons all lined up. Looks to be a popular thing as most of the ppl eating there were doing this or the soup and salad bar. The clam chowder was severely lacking its namesake and was a little light in the consistency...not bad but for a dish that maintains clam in the name should actually have some in there. The vegetable soup on the other had was its polar opposite and was packed with all sorts of delicious veggies in a tasty tomato broth. Floor manager stopped off at my table and thanked me for dining there and dropped off a $5 gift certificate. Simple but nice touch.

Dirty. Sticky tables. Disgusting rest room. We spent our whole meal looking at a pile of dirty dishes. Nice server, though.

While this suburban location doesn't have the panache of its namesake in Chicago (it is after all billed as a bar & grill) the deep dish pizza it serves is just as good as you would find at the mothership. My nephew was in town and some important soccer match was on the TV which he wanted to monitor. He wanted Chicago style deep dish, so as we had been shopping at Woodfield Mall, we went here for lunch. As it was a weekday afternoon, the restuarant wasn't busy. The service was good and the pizza was quite good. They regularly refilled our drinks and moved us to a better table when we requested one closer to the monitors.

Pizza was good but, i think our waiter was high. after taking my order, he came back to see if i was ready to order and then asked me if he should put the order in. I can understand if the place was packed but unfortunately i was his only table.

This is NOT the famed Uno's pizza of downtown. I used to work at a pizza place. I know full well that a real, fresh deep dish pizza tends to take a long while to make. Typically when you order a deep dish, you hunker down and wait for about 45 minutes. Not so here. Which alarmed me. The deep dish pizzas arrived about 20 minutes later. They were... ok. I guess you can't get deep dish everywhere. So an non-native Chicagoan may think it's just peachy. Maybe I'm jaded because I certainly wasn't fooled. Head here for bar food. Head to Lou Malnati's or Gino's East for some legit deep dish.

Ok, so we are stuck in Schaumburg due to what will probably be considered the "Blizzard of 2011" and Uno is the ONLY place open! 1. GREAT SERVICE 2. STRONG DRINKS 3. DECENT PIZZA
(3)Rae H.
I had high hopes when I found out Uno had a gluten-free pizza. I was extremely disappointed in the product. It was bland and undercooked. The sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee amd the cheese was barely melted. I'm not sure if it would have tasted better if it was cooked another five minutes because the crust was nasty, rubbery and gooey. Utterly disgusting! Try Leona's gluten-free pizza instead. It's delicious.

what a dessert they have. the cookie bowl with icecream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I have been here second time just for the dessert. wowwwwwwww. Tried the Deep Dish Pizza. Not great but 3 stars. Buffalo chicken quesedilla. 3 stars dessert - 15 stars

This place is walking distance to my work, so if ever I am meeting someone for lunch, this is usually the place we go. I love the lunch special of all you can eat soup and salad. You can help yourself to 4 different soups and even request a baked french onion or chili. The broccoli and cheese soup is good, but nowhere near as good as when they first opened. The used to have melted cheese on top with croutons. I also like the New England Clam Chowder and baked french onion. It is very rarely busy when I go; however, the service is usually slow. It also seems as though turnover might be high since I never recognize the servers even though I am probably there once a month. Let me warn you though, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT order the lemonade unless you plan on mixing it with a glass of water. The lemonade is so strong it is barely drinkable. I thought maybe the first time I had it someone just made it wrong. Then I realized that is just the way they make it. Wow, it will make your mouth pucker and your eyes water.

Went here on Veterans day as they were running a promotion and my co worker called me to join him (it was he who had informed me.) Not to far from where I work, parking lot was gtting full (as it chsred with Chevys and Panera and another business) and walked in to find the manager opening the door for me. Pleasant entrance. The bar was easy to find, and out Bartendress Olivia, was pretty freaking awesome. My friend had ordered a steak and cheese sandwhich with fries (he wasnt too impressed) and I ordered a single serving of deep dish that wasn't bad. It was filling and I didnt get dessert; however my friend had the deep dish sundae. (Again he wasn't impressed, but from what I saw it look delicious.) I would have given this place 3 stars if not for Olivia. But over all, not a bad experience for what it was.
(4)Joel B.
Chicago-style deep-dish pizza was very good, as expected. Crust is like flaky cookies -- excellent! Service was pretty slow.
(4)Beth G.
I constantly battle with contradictory cravings - salads versus deep dish pizza. I got to have both here and although neither were outstanding, they didn't suck either. The pizza is SMALL. The crust is good. The Classic Cobb salad was very good, although the ingredients and dressing on their website menu differs from what I actually got, which was disappointing. Would I eat here again? Maybe, although with so many better choices in this area, probably not.
(3)Gail C.
In thinking of somewhere I could take my entire family, plus respective BF or GF. I chose Uno's. Mainly for the bar area. In the past when I have eaten there, I have found that their tv's were placed in strategic positions to watch football (ie. Hawkeye's game Sat night) WRONG! OK, we all walk in the bar. There are 6 of us. They told us there was no room in the bar. (there were only 5 or so people in the bar at the time) We walked in, pulled two tables together. Then, after waiting a bit, I sent my daughter to get menu's. (what the heck?) Then this very eery, skinny looking bartender comes up to get our orders. We place the drinks. My one son asked for a smaller size of his beer. (the dude brought a little sampler of it, NOW even I knew what he meant) Orders placed. No friggin Hawkeye's game! I couldn't believe it! Then, he almost forgot my salad. (I had to remind him) Wait, what? I gave them 2 stars? Mind you I will say this is unusual, their service and all is usually great. That's why I picked it in the first place
(2)Charity K.
Sadly I have learned that I don't like Chicago pizza. I like a thicker crust, and deep dish is misleading because the crust itself is actually really thin. The pizza at Uno was the same. My coworker got chicken wings, which he enjoyed thoroughly, and we were seated immediately, which was fabulous! We sat in the bar, and the baseball game was on. It was all about average. The service, as well, was about average. The waitress was nice, and she communicated about our meal well, but she didn't really check in on us. I got a 9 grain crust, which was different and made me feel a little better about eating pizza for the second time on my trip. I don't know that I would go to Uno again unless someone I was with wanted to try it, but I was full enough when I left.
(3)D G.
Since Pizzeria Uno can't differentiate between their locations, I'm leaving a review for all of them. Good luck ordering food from here. They don't deliver so they gave us the name of the delivery company they use. Everything I tried to order they said was not on the menu....even though I was looking at their menu on their website. When I called the restaurant to complain they said that was their other location. None of the locations that I called had what was on their website. It was a total nightmare to deal with and it's run by complete morons!! I ended up ordering from somewhere else I got so frustrated!
(1)Carla A.
We visit the Schaumburg Uno's about once a month. My family would visit more if I didn't resist. This is our favorite place to go. Much better than Papa John's which seems to fill their yeasty crusts with air. The pizzas are excellent---full of flavor and just enough cheese.
(5)Anne Marie J.
3.5 stars. 4 stars for the pizza, 1 star for the dessert, 4 stars for the service. I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. I'm a die hard Lou Malnatti's and Gino's East fan so coming here was like cheating on my boyfriend. And cheat I did! Mmmmmmm so good! The crust was a little too buttery for me, particularly where it touched the pan. Perhaps they did a little bit of "butter frying" in the oven? Regardless, the toppings were delish - great vibrant flavors from the veggies and tomato sauce all topped with tender sausage and pepperoni slices. DO NOT GET THE BANANAS FOSTER! I think it's a great value if you want 4-5 scoops of tub vanilla ice cream ($4.99 - way cheaper than Baskin Robbins). They put caramel on top but it hardly had any rum and butter mixed into it. And there was 1/2 a banana. Hello! I ordered a BANANAS foster - not vanilla ice cream. Our server brought us more cut bananas but it wasn't sauteed in the mix. Blah: Never again!
(3)Tracy D.
The pizza was good, but wow was it pricey!
(3)Joe B.
I ordered one of the burgers and it was so greasy....the fries were resting on the grease which is horrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

The Craving: Pizza The Neighborhood: Woodfield The Time: Well into the evening I have to laugh about the experience at this particular Pizzeria Uno location. It was about 8/8:30PM on a Saturday. We were told the wait would be about 15 minutes or we could try to find a spot at the bar "if" there was space. Since we had nothing to lose, we tried the bar. Umm . . . there was more than plenty of space. Actually there were quiet a few booths open. Just after sitting down at the bar I decided it was ridiculous to wait for a booth when there were obviously plenty to go around. So we promptly planted ourselves in one of them. That was the last problem experienced that evening. . . However, that is the reason I am giving a four star rating instead of a five star rating. The greetings at this location need to have a better idea of what is and isn't available. The Service: Chris took care of us and did a great job! Excellent job on his part. The Food: Craving satisfied and then more! I like deep dish pizza as a general rule. However, Uno's goes above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. I can't say enough about how delicious their deep dish pizza is. There is no overkill on any of the ingredients. Oh, and the crust is outstanding! All in all, this is definitely a place to visit again.
(4)Maren B.
How do I explain this place... the TGI Friday's of pizza joints. If you're looking for an awesome deep-dish pizza DO NOT go here. Just DON'T do it to yourself! The pizza is edible and I've definitely had worse, but that's about as far as it goes. That being said, the service was fine and the menu has plenty of other options if you don't want pizza, but overall don't go out of your way to come here. Why would you when there are so so so many other delectable pizza places in the Chicago area?
(2)David P.
Avoid this place at all cost- the menu items are down right BAD. the pizza resembles nothing of Chicago style pizza. In fact, it doesn't even resemble regular pizza. The wait staff is bad, too. Just all around BAD BAD BAD!
(1)Kathy R.
This wouldn't be my first choice for deep-dish pizza. Or my second. But friends wanted to eat here, and for what it was - it was ok. Not anything really great, but not bad. Tomato sauce has tomato chunks in it, if you like that (I do). Sausage was not the best, but not horrible. Went on Sat. night around 6ish. Perhaps because there were two toddlers, we were seated at the farthest point in the restaurant. But actually, it was ok - we had an entire section to ourselves. However, our server didn't make it around to us in the quickest manner. After we sat down, it was about 10 min. before he appeared and took drink orders. Another 15 min. before he brought a lemon I requested for my iced tea. A minor annoyance. If you're in the area, you'd be better served by going a couple miles up Golf to Gino's East. Or head in the opposite direction to the Lou Malnatti's on Schaumburg Rd. But Pequods trumps them all.

This Uno's has changed for the worst in the last few years. My first visit was about 5-6 years ago and at the time they still served that Uno's pizza you loved that is served downtown Chicago. The last few visits and my very last visit a few days ago were horrible. Service is alright, though on some nights I'd think the servers could be a bit more professional or mature. This comment is specific to a few servers there. The main negative is the food. The taste is OVER processed. Its not worth the price, you leave feeling cheated. Its strange how the original location downtown, the taste is abundantly different than its commercialized counterpart in Schaumburg. The mini burgers were over cooked, though I'd specifically asked that it be cooked different. We felt as if it wasn't cooked on a grill but maybe gone over a few times with a torch. Gas tasting. The pizza was the biggest disappointment, as if they'd poured MSG all over it. It was a joke, crap served with the Uno's name. Maybe its made somewhere else packed with flavor additives and then reheated when ordered. The only good was the alcohol, never any specials, but the margaritas and cocktails are extra strong. They have a great frozen pomegranate margarita, runs $9 each. They don't advertise in the menu the drink prices, so don't feel tacky asking. Otherwise, you'll gasp when you see your bill. I'd had dinner with 5 people all from different cities, it was agreed that this was the worst pizza, no satisfaction. BLAH!
(1)Albert C.
So this was the first place that I decided to eat during my Chicago visit. It's almost like an upgraded Applebees: has a nice bar, 20 TVs all showing ESPN, and has that nostalgic atmosphere. Would recommend for a good place to hang out with friends.
(3)Doris D.
Wow, terrible. I live right by Lou Malnati's. Enough said.
(2)Justin W.
Uno's has some decent deep dish, but not the best by far. Usually some places have godawful crust, which I can't stand to eat due to dryness, but Uno's crust comes out flaky and buttery, which actually got me to finish. It's no Lou's with their butter-crust, but a cheap substitute.
(3)C W.
The service is phenomenal. Was there a year ago and not that good. Now they are very friendly and the service was great. Food was awesome. Am reccommending to all of my freinds.
(5)a w.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...the best deep dish pizza in Chicago! They have nine different kinds all loaded with lots of cheese. And don't miss out on their appetizer Nachos -- they're almost as good as the pizza!
(4)Tiffany T.
Pale in comparison with the original. This chain restaurant bought the name UNO from the real UNO's downtown and then served a corporatized imitation. If you want real Chicago pizza, stay away from this fake and go to the real ones (UNO and DUE) or better yet, Lou Malanatis. You can't be from Chicago and like this pizza.
(1)neha a.
outrageously expnsive ..... n d fud isnt grt... lots of othr grt pizza plcs arnd...
(2)Michael L.
Pizza was good, not as good as I remember it being. The service was a bit slow, and it wasn't even that busy. I would come here again, just asking for the pizza I had a while ago.
(3)Michael N.
This fall the pizza was great for carry out. Excellent ingredients and cooked perfectly. This winter I dined in and the individual deep dish was subpar. Burned crust and very dry. Barely enough cheese. Tomatoes tasted like tin from the can they probably came in. Did the food change or is the individual deep dish just not the same cooking as a large pizza? Always friendly and courteous staff.
(2)Tony S.
How can two experiences be so different last time awesome this Tia time awful, disgusting, uncooked, no sauce no taste. Wow what in the world went wrong practically un edible ,
(1)Jackie J.
I've been to Uno's before, and the food is good and service is always very friendly and attentive, but my 3 star rating this time has to do with their gluten free thin crust pizza which tastes very cheap. The cheese is rubbery and the pizza tastes like it's a frozen pizza that was in the freezer for a year, which it probably was a frozen pizza. Service was really good, I just can't go there for gf pizza :(
(3)Craig C.
Wow is all I can say.,. I haves lived in the Chicagoland area my whole life and I am shocked to say that the Uno in Orlando Florida is way better than the one in Schaumburg...the pizza was under cooked with barely any sauce...really disappointed I won't be returning
(1)Gloria B.
I took my mom here for her 95th birthday lunch. I wanted deep dish and she's not much of a crust person, so I got her the flat bread with the usual tomatoes, cheese, and added onions. I had kalamata olives, mushrooms, and onions on my personal pan. Both were very good. I got to take home enough for two more meals and mom had plenty of leftovers too. We got the mini chocolate peanut butter cup to split for dessert. It was to die for! Warm, chocolaty, with good peanut butter flavor and ice cream to boot. The service was very slow (good waitress, but we waited a long time for our food. And we were there at an off time, since mom uses a walker and I don't like to maneuver her when it's crowded). I had checked to make sure they had tables (not just booths) and the hostess and servers were very accommodating to mom (opening doors for us) and seating us near the door. Those of us who are caregivers appreciate these small kindnesses! Overall, mom was thrilled with the lunch and I was very satisfied.

Finally, my search for deep dish pizza I could have comes to an end! It was my last day in Chicago, so why not give Uno a try to get deep dish pizza that we could have. For reference, I'm vegetarian, but don't eat onion or garlic, both of which feature heavily in Italian-esque foods... And vegetarian food, for that matter. We came in at around noon and asked our waitress what we could have.... Like perhaps the deep dish? Turns out we could! Apparently, they use tomato sauce and just diced tomatoes... Nothing is added. I was positively amazed because I was used to more savory foods being off limits to me during my entire trip up in the Midwest. I honestly didn't expect to be able to eat something so cheesy and substantial that I had to ask a second time because I was in disbelief. I had asked only for the heck of it and didn't expect to be able to get it. After verifying that the ingredients were purely just fresh ingredients and none of that marinated stuff, we finalized everything. We ended up building our own individual deep dish pizzas. Mine: eggplant, mushrooms, and artichokes. His: green bell peppers, roasted red bell peppers, and kalamata olives. It took a bit of time for them to come out but once it did, I was in gastronomic heaven. They were already pre-sliced into quarters in these mini hot pans. Our waitress helped us serve the first pieces and then placed the hot pans onto our table via tongs. I'm more of a thin crust kind of person, but I think I may also be a deep dish kind of person. The crust was perfect - light and thick enough to hold their load with a definite crunch/crisp to the outside edges. It was also slightly... sweet? The innards were filled with tons of melty, cheesy goodness and veggies. The tomatoes added that tang that it otherwise lacked. Ah.... Magnificence. I wonder if there's an Uno back in Houston. If not.... They should totally consider it! As a note, the pizza still tastes amazing later, but it loses the crispy crust. As for the people, they were nice and helpful. No complaints on that end! The establishment was clean and so were the bathrooms. The only issue was that the utensils could be cleaner; after wiping them, some left a dark residue on the white napkins. Food? Thank you for letting me eat something other than a sandwich or salad!! You guys are awesome.
(4)Liv B.
The updated bar looks really great now! There are huge tvs that are great to watch any games that are on. Also in the bar they have nightly food specials from Sunday thru Thursday, where you can get $5 deep dish pizzas on certain nights and $3.50 burgers!! I love the craft beer selection and they always have great drink specials, everything from $5 margaritas to $10 pitchers of beer!
(5)Michael H.
I've heard so much about this place. Only because my siblings use to have lunch there back when they worked a few buildings away. I never knew when I was ever gonna try this. Until one day, while celebrating my birthday, I got together with a friend of mine and decided to go here and try their pizza. Since this place is recognized for having good deep dish, I figured I try it. I got to say: it was not bad. I was impressed. I wish I could say more about this place. I guess I'll have to go back and try other food items. We'll see.
(3)Crystal F.
This was my very first time visiting this location and trying their pizza tonight and I can assure you that I will never ever go back. I'm so disgusted. I came to pick up an order. When I first walked in there was no one at the desk. I stood there by the desk watching waiters and other employees walking around and serving people. Some of the employees even looked at me and continued to walk by without so much as a "Hello, how can I help you?" Or "Are you being helped?" After about 5-6 minutes of still standing there, a couple walked in and stood behind me waiting. A few seconds after they walked in, a waitress came over looking at them (not even paying attention to me) and said, "Two? Let me get you a table." I stood there with complete and utter shock on my face. The waitress happened to glance back at me and saw my face and then proceeded to say in a nonchalant tone, "Oh...Are you being helped?" With the same expression on my face I said, "No." Then one of the employees who saw me when I initially came in, finally walked over to the desk with a bored look on his face and without even saying hello, unwillingly assisted me. In the midst of me paying for the order, there was another woman with short hair who was packing my pizza and was somewhat friendly, but by that time the damage was already done and I was furious and hurt inside. I'm so disappointed that this is the treatment that a person who pays their money for a product and service is treated. I don't know if this was a racial discrimination issue or not and I don't want to automatically assume so, but I will never give them my service or recommend them ever again!! Please choose another location or take your money elsewhere!

Just tried the 'shroom pizza. Understand it returned after a long hiatus. Deelish. Great marinated mushrooms, spinach and good amount of cheese. No red sauce, but none needed.
(5)Charlotte W.
This may or may not have been my first time here, I don't recall, but it was A-OK! Food was good, we came in for lunch. I got the Cobb salad (chopped), my boyfriend got the turkey avocado sandwich and a Caesar salad (a lunch special), and we also got the crab and shrimp dip for an appetizer. Most notable though was our waitress, Anna, who was very friendly, knew her menu, gave us some personal preferences, checked on us appropriately, and never made us feel rushed, only welcomed. You got yourself a good team member there, Unos. Atmosphere was fine, bathrooms were clean though they could use a better towel dispenser in the girls bathroom and the stall doors could use some work. All in all, my first experience says this is a decent choice.
(3)Ty M.
This is our second time here. First time had a bad experience with the service, this time Olivia rocked as our server! The pizza and salads were very tasty! This place is managed very well!
(5)Rick B.
I've been missing Uno's pizza since they closed our Cupertino, CA location a few years ago. So on my trip to Chicago this week, I was looking forward to Uno's for lunch, and they didn't disappoint. A Farmer's Market deep dish was soooo tasty! And the side salad was huge. More than I could eat for lunch. Service was excellent, though it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday lunch. And the manager was very helpful getting my WiFi connected. Cheers to them!
(5)Steve P.
For starters, we didn't have pizza. After working since 6 am, my employees decided they wanted lunch here, and since we have to get started at 5 am tomorrow, I was going to settle for a 'light' lunch of soup and 1/2 four-cheese sandwich lunch special. The soups for lunch are endless and plentiful. I started out with French Onion from the kitchen. Within a few minutes, the sandwich came out of the kitchen too. Toasted on the grill with shredded cheese on the outside, it was pretty tasty with a nice crust. I ran back to the soups for a second helping, this time the cheddar broccoli. Overall, it warmed me up on a cold day. What really made the visit great was our server, Kenyotta. First, what a unique name. Second, Kenyotta gave us fantastic service. One of my employees lives in the area and dines there every so often with her family. Kenyotta asked about her daughter, and got caught up on things. She brought out fresh bread and refilled our drinks on a regular basis. The fourth star was for Kenyotta.
(4)Megan A.
I'm a Chicago native and have tried a plethora of deep-dish. That being said, Uno's deep-dish is pretty good but not quite mind-blowing status. The sauce and crust are tasty! It came out warm, not hot which is my main disappointment. I enjoyed the atmosphere - good vibes! The waiter, Eric W. was very efficient. The host was new and said we would know more about the food than he did - funny but I probably wouldn't advertise that if I was him!
(4)Eileen B.
A friendly atmosphere consisting of both tables and booths. A wide variety of food choices that are bound to make everyone happy. Linda, our server, is quick and accurate in addition to her friendly attitude. She makes us feel like family. Food is cooked to our satisfaction, especially their burgers. Try the herb chicken dinner with the dish of mashed potatos. You won't be disappointed. Compliments to the chef and Linda!
(5)SR H.
Pizza was nothing like Chicago deep dish. Hard crust with none of the butteriness that is expected, and absolutely no tomato sauce on the pizza (maybe they forgot?) So it was pretty dry and flavorless. The medium burger was cooked with pink inside and was mediocre at best. UNOs, a Chicago institution, is now just another generic chain restaurant.
(2)Safa K.
I am definitely a fan of their pizza. The onion rings and burgers are delicious too! I'd say their staff is pretty friendly.
(5)Raj V.
Deep dish pizza was not that deep duh ! Expensive food in return for bad tasting dry pizza. Bad choice for pizza lovers . WAs disappointed
(1)Prabodh M.
I have been here for lunch a couple of times and for dinner once. I have had amazing experience. The minestrone soup served during lunch is the awesomest soup I have had. The mediterranean flat bread pizza is also very nice. I also tried Farmers Market deep dish pizza which was awesome! I would love to try out their other offerings. I would definitely suggest this place!
(4)Heidi L.
We haven't had deep dish pizza in at least a few years but I was craving it tonight! We picked Uno's because it's close to Buy Buy Baby. I was afraid that it would be crowded on a Friday night around 7pm but it was only maybe 65-75% full. My parents and I used to go to Uno's all the time when it was in Naperville and I recall it always being packed! First glance at the menu and I could see they are trying to innovate with pastas, steaks, and shrimp. It kind of reminded me of Ruby Tuesday or a Friday's. Uno's is supposedly where deep dish Chicago - style started so maybe they should just stick to that? We got a regular Numero Uno and the crust on the bottom was kind of soggy. Taste was okay but maybe next time we'll try another place.
(4)Jeffrey C.
First time at UNOs and I loved it!! I'll definitely be back frequently. Ordered a few drinks and two deep dish pizzas. The quality was great and the customer service was outstanding.
(5)Courtney M.
Back in the day, Uno's was a great place to eat. I remember going there as a kiddo and just loving their food. My oh my how things have changed. I recently ordered take out from this Uno location and was unpleasantly surprised at the speed of service and quality of the food. First off, I conveniently ordered my food online, which was wonderful and I believe that every restaurant should have this option available. Once my order was completed, it notified me that my food would be ready for pick up within fifteen minutes. Obviously I know that it is rare for food to actually be ready when people say it will, so 25 minutes later, my husband went to pick it up. We live not too far from this place, so it should have taken less than an hour to drive there, pick it up and return home. Well, an hour and a half later, he came back home, extremely frustrated and flustered because the food had not even been started yet by the time he arrived. He also mentioned that there were a number of other people there who had been waiting even longer for their take out meals. By this time, we were starving, so we whipped open the containers and began to stuff our faces. However, the food wasn't appetizing enough to even continue munching despite our intense hunger. I had ordered the Firecracker Chicken Sandwich and was incredibly disappointed at the quality of the items (lettuce was very soggy and had dark spots, the chicken was dry and rubbery). Additionally, I had ordered the oreo brownie sundae for dessert and what came back was a basic, boring and lifeless brownie, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and pre-packaged, generic liquid chocolate- GROSS. My husband ordered the deep dish mac and cheese pasta (he thought it wasn't too bad) and the four cheese flatbread (both of which were on the 2 for $12 menu) which he did not enjoy too much. He also ordered the bread pudding which was a bit hard and rough in a few spots. All in all, we will not be heading back here for a meal any time soon. It is quite unfortunate that the food was of such low quality and the service took forever. This place used to be a good chain of restaurants back in the day. Sad day.

This place was okay . Reminded me of an Applebee's I was not a huge fan probably won't be back.

I visited with a friend today. I asked for the pizza of the day, Prima Pepperoni. It is actually Tuesday, so the pizza of the day is the Classic, which is sausage. I am not a fan of sausage. Still the waiter understood what I wanted, because before he brought out my pizza, he knew it was not the pizza I wanted and he explained what happened. He offered to make a pepperoni pizza, but I was there on my lunch break and did not want wait for another pizza I would have to take home. I was not sure how long it would take, so I asked him to throw some pepperoni on it and bake it for a few minutes. He disappeared and then a waitress, maybe the hostess, brought my pizza, taking that option off the table. She offered to give me the pepperoni pizza to take home for free, and that was the best outcome I could hope for, so I said OK. Then a member of the management team (I think) came over and said my lunch would be comped, including the pepperoni pizza when it came out. I felt better, like they were trying to make it right. And if that pizza I took home was a pepperoni pizza, this review would have been a lot better. I got it home, and it was another sausage pizza. After all of that, three separate people promising me a pepperoni and all of them knowing I had been served a sausage pizza I really did not want already. You'd think they would have maybe opened the box, or made sure to ask the kitchen for a pepperoni pizza. Well, if they did check the box, it did not make a difference. I don't need or want free food. I want what I pay for. Mistakes happen, but they do not happen again two times in the space of 10 minutes with three separate people involved if any care at all is taken. When you undertake to make it right, MAKE IT RIGHT or don't waste your time and money. I am not happy. Come on, guys. Two times in a row, and what you're really doing is sending a message that really undoes whatever goodwill you might have earned with the comped lunch. My friend said his soup tasted like it was watered down, for what it's worth. I don't order soup there, so I'll have to take his word for it, but if that also happened, this place has some real issues.

Fiancé and I just had our Friday date night here. He was craving pizza so we decided to try this place since we both have not been here before. Upon sitting down up until our meals were finished, the customer service was very friendly and polite. I was surprised since after my check-in I saw that this place had only an average rating of 2.5 stars, ouch! I did get the feeling that they were trying hard to turn this place around. Our waiter was in training and his trainers consistently checked in us. They seem to be very well staffed to service and they were busy, it wasn't an empty restaurant. Food-wise, it was a-okay and thus my 3-star review. We had Chicken Wings appetizer: 8 pieces for ~$9.50 which just didn't seem like much for that price. And the fact that they tasted good but not anything where it should be $1+/ wing. We also ordered the BBQ Chicken thin crust pizza ($13). It had a sweet flavor but overall tasted a bit dry. The No. UNO deep dish as well and I thought it was decent but a bit salty for my taste ($20). Maybe I'm biased because I'm not so much of a crust person. My fiancé however liked both of the pizzas, but he also likes almost anything. I would visit here again for the service and probably with someone else but not likely by myself. I give this place props for upping their service, perhaps raising their star level in the near future.

Went to Uno's last week and it was very good. I personally did not have the pizza, but a pasta dish, but it was excellent! Kids can make their own pizzas which get cooked.
(4)John G.
Anywhere else this might be a passable restaurant, but if you're going to open a deep dish pizza joint in Chicagoland you have to at least have decent deep dish pizza. Pizza from Unos tends to be a jumbled mess of soggy crust and overly oily cheese with a bland sauce. Salads and other foods are about on par with an Applebees, nothing to write home about. While this location is conveniently put down next to the Woodfield Mall, save you time, your money, and your tastebuds and go to either Ginos or Lous, both of which aren't too far away.
(2)Lindsey H.
Their deep dish is absolutely delicious! A pretty casual restaurant, I wouldn't come dressed up here. The food came out really fast and I got seated almost instantly! Our waitress was a little crabby though and didn't seem to care much about our table. Other than that, very good food! I got the deep dish and my boyfriend got a mushroom burger and both were delicious.

We went with a large group mid-afternoon on a Saturday. First off, Anna was our server and she was terrific! She had no problem splitting checks for the "sub-groups" in our party, was very attentive and let us linger after the bill was paid without hassling us. The food was so-so. I started with the wedge. It barely came with a drizzle of blue cheese dressing. I asked Anna for more and she obliged with a small cup of dressing. I ordered the Chicago individual pizza to see how it stacked up to my favorite at Lou's. Chicagoans will find this deep dish passable but not spectacular. Let's face it, we are spoiled when it comes to pizza in this town. I'm sure folks visiting from cities with absolutely crappy pizza will love Uno's version. Hey, that's OK. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just OK. I washed all of this down with 20 oz glasses of Third Shift Amber Lager. At $3.49 a glass, what a bargain!

This place is definitely larger than the ones in down town, still cozy but better comfy booths and menu is more variant. The hosts and servers were very friendly and providing great a service. Also the bathroom is small but very clean, which is a plus. We tried their BBQ thin crust pizza, which was very neat, and a regular veggie Deep Dish (created by our choices). As same as the dwntwn branches, the crust and cheese are taste supersonically delicious, however not as thick as the dwntwn ones are. I liked the place and would come back if I'm in the area again.

I want to start by saying that I rarely write reviews on Yelp. I'm more of a reader of everyone else's. But tonight's service made me and my husband want to say something positive! We went on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. I'm 8 months pregnant, so naturally I had to pee as soon as we walked in. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is due to the bathroom. There were 4 stalls, one didn't lock, and the handicap stall that I used had a pretty bad leak making the floor wet and slippery. I had to use that one though because I also had my 4 year old and we can't fit together in a regular stall! Also, some of the lights were flickering and that was somewhat bothersome to my sensitive eyes. Upon returning to the table, our waiter, Eric W, was already there taking my husband's drink order. He returned immediately with our drinks and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We settled on the mini pretzel sticks and they came out pretty quickly. They were hot, so was the cheese sauce, and delicious! My husband ordered the Mediterranean Vegetable off of the Nuovo Deep Dish menu. We were looking at the picture and it was actually the Roasted Vegetable Bianco. The manager came by after we received our pizza to see how it was. My husband told him he thought we got the wrong one. The manager told us what we actually wanted was the Bianco. My husband took full responsibility for the error. It was still a great pizza! But the manager said he would have a small of the Bianco made and boxed up for us to take home to try, on him! I could not believe it. I don't get service like that anywhere! Especially when it wasn't the staff's fault, it was my husband's! I work in customer service and I feel I go above and beyond for my customers. I don't feel like others go above and beyond for me when I am the customer. It was so refreshing to see someone else care about their customers the way I feel I do! So thank you to the manager, who I'm sorry I don't know that we got your name! And our waiter, Eric, for being truly exceptional. I will definitely recommend this location to everyone I know!
(4)Ivan E.
Friendly, and try hard. When lunch special took a little longer were apologetic and refunded tab. Management and staff care.
(4)Megan S.
The gluten free pizza is great and reasonably priced. I wish they had more options but the veggie is great. The host that we had was also conscious of the contamination risks. It was refreshing.

I took my family here for lunch today. My wife and I couldn't get around how filthy this place is! The tables have a nasty a nasty film of hardened grease and crumbs. The plates look like they were moistened, but not washed. The plates still had a film of residue of previous pizza servings to match the tables. We last ate here a year ago and it wasn't nearly as dirty as this. The food was still not bad. Since the food was cooked, I figured that we were safe from getting sick. I felt bad for the waiter/bartender and hostess who were doing their best.
(2)John M.
Every time I travel to the Schaumburg area for work, I inevitably end up eating at Uno's at least once. They have good Chicago-style pizza, a good selection of brews, and pretty awesome desserts. Every time I've been the bartenders have been top-notch, which is always a nice plus. On Tuesdays they have team trivia, which is pretty fun to play, even if you are a poor schmuck like me, traveling for work all by yourself.
(4)Trevor S.
Absolutely nasty... not pizza by any stretch of the imagination. Poor service as well. Would it kill them to clean the dining area?!
(1)Brittany B.
I thought the service I got at this restaurant was great, but my review is based only on their deep dish pizza, considering I haven't tried anything but their deep dish pizza so far. I felt that the sausage itself wasn't very good, and it tasted like the pizza consisted of the crust and cheese. I could barely taste the sauce and pepperoni when I tried the pepperoni pizza. Don't get me wrong, though, the crust was amazing, though! I would definitely come back here to try something different to see if I like anything else on the menu.
(3)Chuck S.
Went to Uno before catching a comedy show in the mall. It wasn't that busy for a Saturday night, so we were seated right away. Waitress was nice and service was pretty good. I had a chicken sandwich which I thought was pretty good. My buddy had French onion soup, which he thought was okay. He also had the world's worst grilled cheese. I had a taste, it was awful. How do you screw up grilled cheese??? Well, it was over cooked and barely any cheese. Just awful. Overall experience was okay, if had more time probably would have gotten pie...Next time
(2)Ryan M.
Delicious pizza
(4)Ana R.
First time going to Uno's. And never going back there again. Mozzarella sticks were cold, you can Definately tell they were frozen. BBQ chicken Pizza tasted bland, you can only taste the BBQ, fries were cold, the only thing that tasted great was the chocolate cookie desert. It was warm and tasted fresh! The bathrooms were disgusting! Smelled like urine, toilet paper everywhere, there was a water leak, and toilets looked like they haven't been cleaned in days. Very disappointed.
(1)D G.
It was nice but for the price of the pizza, it definatly neds some flavor, tasted like cardbord and the server took our order brought it to us in ok timing but then forgot about us, we were right across from the bar, she could see us. Drinks went empty, messed up the bill.... ugh id only go backif I'm not paying, its nothing special, unfortunatly, but they were friendly
(3)Brigitte M.
Went with my partner for late evening drinks and dinner. We were seated promptly in a booth in the bar area. Our bartender/server, Olivia, was excellent and a lot of fun. My partner does not like deep dish pizza, so he ordered the flatbread with aged cheddar and wild mushrooms, thinking it would also have pizza sauce on it. (The build your own says you start with cheese and tomato and then add ingredients.) No tomato sauce. He did not like it. He said it was dry and the crust tastes like cardboard. I tried it and it was dry--I wouldn't order it. Olivia brought some sauce on the side, but he decided to take it home. At home he doctored it up with the sauce and additional cheese and it was somewhat better. I had the "Numero Uno" deep dish pizza because I've had it downtown years ago and loved it. It was OK, but nothing like what I remembered. I did not like the sausage and picked it out. But, taste of sausage is a personal preference....so someone else may love it. Bottom line, we will go back to try something else, but neither one of us will order pizza or flatbread.
(3)Maggie B.
Just came from dinner a few hours ago and this place was fantastic! We ordered the Artisan Crust Margherita and the Mediterranean flatbread pizza. Both were very nicely sized portions (for one person, which is what the server said when we asked her) and very delicious! Fresh tasting ingredients and freshly made. Our servers were both very attentive and friendly. They refilled our waters about a million times without us even having to ask and were very pleasant throughout our experience. We did go on a Monday night at about 8:30pm, so the place only had a few people in it, but nonetheless the service was great :-)
(4)Skip A.
Had a deep dish pizza at the Schaumburg Unos last weekend. Sure wasn't like I remembered! There was almost NO pizza sauce on it and the sauce was lumpy. Made the pizza very dry. Wonder if the main Unos downtown is like that?
(1)Juliana R.
I was surprised with all the negative reviews seeing as how our first visit here was great! We sat in the bar and were served by JEN who was awesome! She made delicious suggestions for drinks which we loved! We skipped the pizza and had some delicious pasta dishes, which if you are picky about pizza definitely try out their pastas, much better than the pizza!! I will be for sure be back next time I'm in Schaumburg!

Great food; great variety. Never disappoints!

As many have failed to notice, this is mostly NOT a traditional Pizza place. It does, now, have a good selection of Pizza's (two pages on the menu), though they lean toward the "California Pizza Kitchen" style more than traditional Chicago style. The real find, though, is the other food. Surprisingly, some of the best choices are seafood items, especially the "trio" combo, or the pastas, especially the Rattlesnake. The Chimichurri Steak is also first rate. Burgers stilll tend to be pricey, as are the individual pizza's. Service is generally very good, once you get past the odd tendency to ignore a request for a booth instead of a table.

I'm surprised at all the reviews on here. I went to Unos last night and was pretty happy with my experience. Maybe they've improved since I believe there are only two Unos left in Illinois. They now have "small plates" available, which my mom appreciated. Who wants a giant plate of pasta? I sure don't. The small plate is very decently sized. It's the portion you SHOULD be getting, now the four portion size that restaurants typically offer. Usually I order the individual primo pepperoni pizza, which is really good. I just have a hard time finishing the whole thing, even if it is sized for one person. Hey, a mini-deep dish is a lot of food! Anyway, last night I was feeling like a hamburger so I ordered the cheddar burger. It was pretty good. It had a good amount of cheese and the burger wasn't taken over by bun, which can often happen. The only thing is that the restaurant was pretty empty. I think there were only two other groups there. Granted, it was a Wednesday night, but I would expect it to be a little buiser. This can be accounted for by more people eating home nowadays, or people just expecting Unos to be all about the pizza. I urge you to give it another shot. I have yet to be disappointed there. Oh and our waitress was very nice. She brought my mom a refill of lemonade, even though she didn't ask for it (Though she probably should have since my mom didn't really want another). One last thing: you get a free apple on your way out! They have apples, limes, and lemons displayed throughout the restaurant. I thought they were fake until we were offered one. And this girl does NOT turn down anything free, especially when fruit is involved.
(4)David K.
Ordered a spinach, onion and mushroom gluten free thin crust pizza. The crust had an initial taste that reminded me of Lou's deep dish pizza crust but then there was a definite potato flavor. The crust crisped up nicely and had a decent thickness. The pizza was beyond flavorless, there was not enough parmesan, red pepper flake, salt and pepper to save that pizza
(2)Noomi J.
We went here for dinner on a weeknight and it was kinda empty. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I drink a lot of water and I never had to ask for a refill here. Foodwise, we had the steak and an individual deep-dish pizza. Steak was average. The pizza was kinda pricy, like $12. It came with 3 toppings. I liked their crust, a bit similar to Lou Malnati's. I'm a bit curious how their regular-sized pizzas taste, but I think I'd rather try out their original location.
(3)Chris L.
Came here before a Comedy Show I was seeing at the improv nearby. We were seated right away, and the service was really good/friendly. I was not that impressed with the food though. I got a bowl of french onion soup, which was ok, but they use croutons instead of bread and not a lot of cheese, and I likes my cheese. I also got a grilled cheese sandwich, which was burned and greasy as all hell. I didn't even finish the sandwich. Maybe I should have went with the pizza?

I have been to Uno's numerous times now. They claim that they are kid friendly but hate it when moms and kids show up. On 3 separate visits with my son, I had poor experiences. The 1st time, the server put down our menus and vanished. We went in early on family tuesday to beat the crowd and it took us nearly 2 hours to get our food, eat, pay, pack up leftovers and leave. On our 2nd visit, we were seated all the way in the back and forgotten about. The 3rd and last time, we did a playdate for the kids and showed up a little after lunch hour. Service was okay but the server was extremely slow. She didnt bother to ask us if we needed anything. I had to flag down other servers to get little things like ketchup for the kids fries, crushed red pepper for the pizzas etc. When we were done, we sat around for 20 minutes before the server finally showed up with the check. I have consistently experienced poor service and wont be going back. My son loves pizza as all 5 year olds do but CPK would be a better option. The food is actually good and well-prepared. I wish they would improve their service or hire more servers especially during lunch and dinner hours.

Ended up eating here because the mall area was beyond overcrowded and the other restaurant we attempted to eat at had a 45 minute wait... Service was very good (Shannon), restaurant itself was decorated very nicely and was clean, but the food was not great. Buffalo wings were tasty for appetizers, fried calamari even with their tomato/pepper relish was not very tasty, and I was extremely disappointed in their deep dish pizza. They are supposed to be known for their deep dish pizza, that is why I ordered it. We had the special with all the toppings. I will say that I LOVED their buttery crust but the toppings were bad. Vegetables were not even cooked, pepperoni was bland, and the sausage was horrible. It had a very off taste. Ruined my experience. I've had way better pizza elsewhere.
(2)Craig B.
Atmosphere, blah! Wait staff, blah! Management, DUMB! No-one in the freaking building had change...they apparently forgot to go to the bank that morning to get change and when the management came back to explain with my "change", they had shorted me .60. It's not hard to manage a chain restaurant people...but, then again, if you're working on your GED it might be tough. Oh yeah, the food, nothing special. Very commercial tasting. Much better deep dish options elsewhere. Like from the hobo behind Ikea.
(1)Amy R.
At least this place is consistent in being dissapointing. Thought we would give this place another try, only this time carry out. The online ordering feature is nice. The curbisde pickup would be nice if someone would actually come out to the curb. Ended up having to go in and get it. Not a big deal, but don't advertise the service if not going to follow through. PIzza was alright. The two medium deals ended up being the same price as the two individual size pizzas we were going to order. The chicken fajita and the uno supreme were blah. Crust was dry, not flaky like it claims to be. Pepperoni was burnt, cheese was burnt. Ingredients just didn't taste fresh at all. Most likely the last time we'll visit. At least this location.
(1)Jennifer M.
My goodness, a decade has past since I last dined here or at any one of their downtown locations. I could swear there was one at U of I. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away. It took a little time for the Server to come to our table. By the time he arrived, we were ready to order. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas. For $10.29, you get 3 large triangular shapes of tortilla filled with cheese, tomatoes, red onions and served with salsa and sour cream on the side. You can substitute the traditional tortilla with five-grain quesadillas at no additional charge. You can add-on guacamole. Jason ordered the Chopped Power Salad. For $10.99, you get a large bowl of chicken breast, spinach, plum tomatoes, carrots, feta, red grapes, goji beans, Thompson raisins, soy nuts, almonds, pepitas and Ocean Spray sweetened dried cranberries. It comes with fat free vinaigrette They have a lunch special Mon - Fri. where you pick two items from a designated menu. Prices are $6.99, $7.99 and $8.99. You get a lot more food for your buck. I thought it was interesting that one of your choices is an all-you-can eat soup. They don't have a salad bar. The ambience is cozy and rustic. The bar is the only place for TVs. it is completely closed off from the dining room; I think in consideration of noise and privacy. Next time, we'll have to eat in there to avoid the children. If you have children, you may want to consider bringing them here. They get to eat free on on Tuesdays, now through January.
(3)Savannah K.
Gluten Free pizza isn't bad.. but they still flat our refuse to put prices on the drink menu. You have the right to pay what you want if the price wasn't listed on the menu.
(2)Mairee P.
Order placed: Large deep dish, EXTRA Pepperoni & Cheese. Order received: Dough with a thin film of cheese & some pepperoni sprinkled here & there. For $29.00 !! First words heard when I opened the pizza box: "did you forget to order it w/extra pepperoni & cheese?" No, I didn't forget. What I did forget is why we stopped ordering Pizza from this place. When I fork over almost $30 for a pizza, I expect EXTRA of whatever I ordered on it!! Extra means a thick layer of cheese & more than just 10 pepperoni's on a large pizza! What........you thought no one would notice? This is how places lose business...by taking short cuts which they think no one will notice. Won't be back.
(1)Bobby O.
Good service food sucked. Really disappointed in the pizza!
(2)Elliott R.
Went with a group of friends and were promptly seated, however, took quite sometime to be asked for our drink orders. The restaurant wasn't even that busy and we still waited even more to be asked for our food orders. Proportions were mediocre to okay.
(2)Evie W.
Went to pickup my online order today and was told when I got there that one of my orders was cancelled because they were out of shrimps. So I had to order something else and was told that it would be ready in 10 min. Got there at 11:30am promptly and didn't get my order till 12pm. They also had trouble cancelling my online order and spent 20 min on the phone with their online order dept trying to resolve the issue. But the most annoying part of this entire situation is that neither the employee or the manager apologized for the long delay in the my order. After standing there for half an hour and seeing the restaurant having only 2 tables of customers, I suddenly realized why they are doing poorly in business. They really should learn from successful businesses like Starbucks, in which when they make a mistake or cause inconvenience for their customers, they would apologize and offer a free item voucher as a compensation. Very disappointed with how the manager handle the situation today.
(2)D P.
Best pizza ever. Got a deal two medium deep dish for $19. Great egg plant topping with really great crust.
(5)Greg H.
Chicago is certainly known for its pizza. I would definitely say that Uno has truly become a second or third tier Chicago pizza place where it once competed with the 'big dogs'. My last experience was no exception. The service was very average, the pizza simply ok compared to others and the price was still quite high. Overall, I'm not sure why you'd go to Uno with some of the other Chicago pizza places so near by.
(2)Denise K.
Wow - Unos has gone downhill. I remember going to the Ohio street location when I was really little (Now I work a block away from it) and it was a special treat. I went on Sat to the Woodfield locaiton while I waited for my dog to be groomed across the street. it was empty at noon. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Nachos were OK. Pizza was HORRIBLE! "deep dish" was not quite 1" on the side and the base was thinner. Tasted pre-made, frozen and reheated. Although the pizza was hot, all the toppings fell of of it as we tried to eat it. This was not the Uno's it used to be. VERY disappointing. I did not even care about taking home the leftovers and we used to fight over them!
(2)Mike M.
In Chi town for a conference so you have to go deep dish baby. Started off ok. Seated our party of ten quickly. Initial waiter we received was very grumpy and made us feel unwelcome. Luckily another Mr. Super Waiter was great and came to save the day. We had the Deep dish and thin crust pizza's and was more than enough food to fill us up. The crust was very good and everything was fresh. I would come back here again. I guess we got lucky. I was nervous after we read all the bad reviews. I'll have to come back and compare to Gino's East next time in Chicago. Goodbye windy city...heading back to Cleveland.

We stopped here for lunch on Saturday after hitting up Ikea for $.25 champagne flutes. I bought 180 champagne flutes for less money than the price of lunch. Good thing I was paying for the glasses, and my parents paid for lunch! The waitress asked if we had ever been to Uno's before, and my mom said yes but not this one. I corrected here and said this place is nothing like the original. I don't think the original has anything other than pizza and appetizers and maybe salads (granted it's been a while since I've been there. But how much could they have changed in 2 years?) Now I will admit, I'm a pizza snob. I was born and raised in Chicago, and so I expect pizza to taste like food not cardboard. This was okay pizza. The crust was kinda weird, and I felt awful after eating it, but it wasn't terrible. I don't like Parmesan on my pizza, and the pizza we ordered had. But that is not Uno's fault, it is my fault for not reading the menu. So the pizza itself and the toppings might be better if I choose something better. This isn't really Chicago pizza (even if it is trying to be like it's namesake the real Uno's), but it is still edible unlike Papa John's. However, I don't know how anyone so close to Chicago would want to eat anything other than good or great pizza. Three of us at the table ordered side salads, and those were pretty good. The mozzarella stick appetizer was good. The gooey sticks of cheese were cooked perfectly!
(2)Monica B.
I love the pizza here and since all the other Uno's in the suburbs have gone out of business, we have to drive here or go downtown. Just went this past weekend and Olivia in the bar was a great waitress, she took real good care of us and deserves a raise for being one of the best servers anywhere. Salad and pizza was plentiful. We always get the deep dish for 2-3 people and have enough for leftovers the next day. I like the fresh squeezed lemonade and my husband always gets the mint ice tea. Will definetly be back again and again.
(5)G E.
Pizza has always been good. They have option for lunch to call in your order and then park in one of there... we will bring bring the pizza out to you spots, unfortunately it is pretty rare any one in there is actually watching the cameras so if your out there more than 5 min.s just go in. Usually I get the 2 personal thin crust pizzas with 2 toppings for $16 and have some one at work go in on it, it's a good deal that way. They lose a star because no one is usually watching there pickup spaces.
(3)Kate L.
It' my go-to spot for gluten free pizza anytime. I've only eaten in a couple of times, and I can't say any of those experiences were too great, but as far as their pizza goes, I can't complain. They have curb-side service which is perfect for when it's yucky outside and I still want gluten free pizza, but sometimes it takes them a good 20 minutes to come outside with the food, or there have even been instances where i've had to call them and let them know that i am there. Overall, it's the food that matters right? And in that aspect, i'm usually satisfied,
(3)Mike A.
Thought I would try some of the dinner dishes, since I had some free coupons. The dishes were bland and terrible. I don't know how this place has 3 stars.. I already have a review that sais the pizza is terrible..
