We have been regulars for a while and slowly slipped away due to lackluster service. Deciding to give it another try proved disappointing. When we sat at the bar, two servers were half behind the bar chatting with the bartender about her relationship. No real problem since she quickly assisted us. We needed a minute on drinks, but put in an order for two appetizers and an entree. The bartender left the bar to continue chatting with coworkers and only returned to eat food BEHIND the bar, check her phone, and deliver our food...all at once. We normally don't mind about the order in which items come out, but she never thought to offer us an option of timing. While eating, we were asked if everything was fine after she took another bite to eat BEHIND the bar and checked her phone. As before, she left the bar to "hang out" at the host stand. After clearing our plates, we wanted drinks and planned on asking her the next time she came around. She returned to the bar, printed our check without saying a word, and walked away again. There was no "thank you" or offer for coffee, dessert, or anything else. At minimum, appreciation for our business would have been nice. What a loss of opportunity in sales for the restaurant and keeping regulars?! We are giving up on Stir Crazy Schaumburg. It gets two stars only because the food is consistent.

Good healthy food, well priced. Kid friendly (sort of). Try the thai wings for an apetizer, they're very good. I say sort of kid friendly because if you have a toddler, it's not always easy to juggle a bowl of veggies, and keep him/her preoccupied while you're waiting for your food to be stir fried. Other than that, I really enjoy the place. I've been to both locations and had a great time at both. The staff is friendly and good at moving people in and out so you don't have to wait long to be seated.

Really good. My wife and I enjoy this place a lot. You can create your own meal or choose from the menu. Excellent fusion of all sorts of asian food. Very few restaurants can beat this place for food under $10. Affordable, fresh and fantastic tasting. Its not what u pay but where u go to eat.

The food here is good, not the greatest but it is good. I only went here once but the server was so nice and we even got a free dessert that was soo delicious.

This place has some great food. I like being able to pick out what vegetables I want and which I don't. I am picky like that (no mushrooms!) Their vegetables always look and taste fresh. I also like being able to choose rice, noodles, etc.. and being able to have a vegetarian or meat option. We've always gotten the spring rolls have always been awesome and are served with this sweet/spicy sauce that I can't get enough of! I usually get the mango tea, which tastes really great to me. Most flavored teas (to me) taste just like iced tea and then maybe they'll garnish it with a fruit, but this must have flavored syrup or actual mangoes mixed in. Anyway, I always end up talking about the food mostly regarding restaurants, but yeah that is the primary function of the establishment. The atmosphere is nice there too, it has some nice low-lighting.

This place is average I suppose. I've been here a handful of times and usually order off the menu, though I have created my own stir fry before. I always order spicy dishes that aren't really that spicy. I went here for lunch yesterday and had to wait about 45 minutes as expected. At least the host accurately quoted the wait time. The server was pleasant and when she forgot my friend's Thai Iced Tea, she went and made it herself (no bartender working the lunch shift? Huh...) and then comped it. Again, my dish was lacking some heat, and the vegetables tasted like they were frozen and thawed. They had a kind of freezer burned taste. Edible, but not the best. I camped out with my friend (every server's nightmare!) for a good 2 hours and she didn't seem to mind (granted it was like 3 in the afternoon) and kept refiling our drinks. Good service and staff, but like other reviewers said, not the best food.

Stir Crazy is just a fun place to eat. As soon as you walk in, you can smell all of the stir fries cooking, and your mouth will really start to water. Though the menu does have some very good dishes, I have to recommend you make your own stir fry at least once. I am partial to a calamari stir fry with thick noodles and teriyaki sauce piled high with peapods, baby corn, and water chestnuts. If you really have an appetite (since the stir fries are pretty big once they are cooked) or you are ordering dishes from the menu, then try the lettuce wrap appetizer. You won't regret it.

I really enjoyed eating here! You can make your own stir fry and they have many different combinations of grain and protein to choose from. They completely cater to all vegetarians and many allergies! They also have great options for kids, (Chicken fingers or a burger with fries). Not only that, but kids eat free every Tuesday and Thursday. They definitely have the shortest wait for restaurants in and around the mall. They also do a fire show which I found very entertaining. They have so many different Asian dishes to choose from! The service was spectacular and the place was clean. I did, however, think the tables were very tight in the dining room. I felt that the people behind me were sitting extremely close. That's how it is at most restaurants these days though; especially in Woodfield where everything is high demand. I found that they get very busy so a reservation is a must! Though it is a busy place, even without a reservation I found that they typically have the shortest wait in the mall. If you choose to wait, make sure you stay near or give the host a phone number to contact you when your table is ready. They don't have pagers so make sure you hear your name. I found that they are one of the few restaurants in Woodfield that will actually call you when your table is ready. Other restaurants basically have the "you snooze you lose" policy; which is another thing I really enjoyed about Sir Crazy. They seem to genuinely care about their customer's satisfaction. They also give out fortune cookies at the end of the meal with the check. If you want more, you can always ask and they will bring you more! One other thing I find it important to know, Stir Crazy is not part of "Let Us Entertain You" so they do not accept those gift certificates. They really have a great staff and great hospitality. I have to say, more than one server besides my own checked on me during my meal and made sure I liked my food and had everything I needed. I believe that Stir Crazy differs from other stir fry restaurants because you don't have to make your own. I really enjoy their sesame chicken dish. I also liked the Asian chicken Cesar salad. Everyone will enjoy something different, but I definitely recommend that everybody check this restaurant out for themselves.

It's true that the food there is excellent, and inside the infamous Woodfield Mall, so I can't really complain about the ambience. However, I was reading one of the reviews saying it's only 8.95 for a stir fry...well, that's old...the only thing I will complain about is how much they've raised their prices over the last couple of years. I guess it's understandable since they're usually always packed, and they have a great location, but still, that's why they lost one of their stars.

Stir Crazy is an AWESOME place to get some great tasting food. You can either choose from their set menus, or you can make your own stir fry meal choosing your own ingrediants. This restraunt is a lot of fun. The portions are huge. Oh, and don't skip out on desert..its soo yummy!

This place is awesome! They've got an enormous menu of thai food and if you don't like anything on the menu you can create your own meal! They've got a bar of vegetables and you can pick your own meat, noodles, and sauce! They cook it in front of you in their nice open kitchen.. Its perfect for the fussy eater! They've also got a full bar and good frozen drinks!

This is my favorite place to eat only because it costs $8.95 to create your own meal with the HUGE variety of veggies available at the stir fry bar & the different sauces you can choose from and then there are a variety of noodles/rice they let you pick to have as well. If you don't feel like creating your own meal and having it cooked right in front of you, they have a large menu of other items to choose from. I suggest trying the Banana Wonton drink - it's like banana wontons, only in a nice frosty glass. Yum Yum all the way around!!!

My fiance and I have been here several times. I've also taken coworkers here for lunch. The food is usually pretty decent, but the last time we went, my meal was cold and lacking in flavor - I don't know if it's a trend in recent times, but it seems like a lot of resutaurants are lacking / slacking right now - of course being in the suburbs limits your choices.

First time to this restaurant, was wonderful. We had off the lunch menu and we received a lot of food. Taste was wonderful, and the dishes were beautifully prepared. Our waiter was very nice and polite. Also very helpful in granting our requests. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a great lunch. Our waiter was Freddy. Great guy

I had not been to Stir Crazy for a few years. The food is expensive and the service was better. September is their low business month and the #1 priority is the customer. But, the service was terrible. Lots of waiters but none of them checked if we are doing ok or gave us silverware, water refill until asked for. And, the portions are not enough for even a dieting toddler if you order an entree. I am not sure how much I can trust if their fish is wild even if they say so.

I have dined here many times over the years but have never done a review. Today is Mothers Day and this is where my wife wanted to come for dinner so it's time for my review. First, let me say I have NEVER enjoyed the create my own wok dinner. I just could never get the ingredients and sauces to jive. However, I do like their Chef's Creations! I tried a new one tonight, the Thai Jumping Chicken. It was delicious and less than 600 calories! My wife and kids like it here so we will be back again.

I can't understand what people are talking about. I gave this place 3 chances, today was the last time! The only good thing here is the shrimp NOTHING ELSE! First off the waiter was nice but he asked all 3 of us, "Is this your first time here?" One of 3 people answered yes the other two said no, his reply was " Ok, so what can I get you?" Lol aren't you going to give the other 2 an introduction?! Here comes the bad part, my buddy and I ordered the Mongolian beef, We asked for it to be very spicy he said no problem, my friends wife ordered the salmon dish. Long story short neither beef was spicy and there was barely any beef, I was livid at this point! We got home and if all that wasn't bad enough we paid over $70 (not inc our tip) and now we're all not feeling well. Neither one of us will return to this place. Keep in mind you get more food and better food at P.F Changs in the same mall!

Been here several times including tonight as we like their veggy fried rice. Prices are pretty good and on Tuesday's & Thursday's kids eat free. Not a lot of extra frills here, just decent, dependable food.

I normally come here and get great service but today I waited 10 min just to get our drink orders it was not even a busy time there were about 8 tables in the whole restaurant with patrons. I ordered the fresh market bar and told the cooks to not overlook my vegetables they still did anyway and I attempted to get my dish from the cook because it was done the cook told me to go sit down and they will bring it to me even though I saw 3 other people get there plates I waited 7 min and sure enough my food was just warm and normally its piping hot!! Really upset with service today!

I ate the mango habanero chicken because I was starving. That being said it was cold and too sweet. Definitely needed some more spice to balance out the palate. Not worth your $15, not for this dish anyways. Green dragon tea came in a dirty kettle yet tasted good.

I went there for the first time yesterday with a Groupon and loved it! My 3 year old loved it too! All the ingredients were super fresh and our food turned out fantastic! I had the combination (chicken, steak, and shrimp) and added all my favorite veggies. I used the teriyaki sauce and it was perfect. Will definitely going back again. The only thing I didn't is that you are expected to tip your "server " on your whole meal when he literally just brought us our drinks (2 waters and a coke) and bowls. Our table didnt even have silverware. We got up and got it ourselves from another table.

Service is really slow! Because we asked about dietary needs it took forever to get service. The food didn't take long to cook, because we went to the custom bar. Food was decent. It's a good place to bring friends, but not a date, much too loud and too kid friendly. Three stars for service and food quality.

So, I try to veer away from the chain restaurants - I'd rather spend my money on as unique a dining(aka food) experience as possible. However, I will say I was pleasantly surprised by my meal. Although, too be fair, I created it - the place is set up like an upscale mongolian barbecue so you pick your meat, your veggies and your sauces and let them 'wok it up' for you while you watch. Plus, they had Thai Coffee - always a plus. Servie was great, everyone was friendly, helpful and our server didn't mind refilling my water 10 times(I think I shouldn't have put in so many chili peppers.

This Stir Crazy is alright, but the service is a little meh. We came in on Tuesday (or maybe Wednesday?) for dinner and even though the restaurant was pretty empty, we were seated in a far corner. Our server was alright, but indicated to us that we had to wait for our build your own stir-fry rather than her bringing it to the table when it was ready. I always thought that if you *wanted* to wait, you could, but that you didn't *have to.* I don't like this because 1) this is not a self-service restaurant. 2) I don't want to carry my purse through the veggie bar line and 3) I don't want to leave my purse at the table unattended while I'm waiting for my food to be cooked. It was alright, but its still no FlatTop. And yes, I know they are owned by the same company.

Stir Crazy is always good for a quick, delicious meal. We were seated right away, and my wife and I got to talking. Before we knew it 15 minutes had gone by and no one even acknowledged we were there. Just then, the manager noticed us and asked if we'd been helped yet. When we said no, she got an angry look on her face apologized and walked off. Within a minute our waiter came by apologizing up a storm. He said he felt so badly he wanted to buy us Strawberry Lemonades. Sure, why not. From that point on his service was spectacular. Very attentive; very energetic. We both got stir fry, although they do have a pretty wide variety of other foods on their menu. If you have not been to Stir Crazy before, they differ from Mongolian Barbecue joints as (1) it is not all you can eat and (2) you select your vegetables and sauces, but they add the meat or tofu. So, if you want a meat heavy stir fry, you are not going to get one here. But, I will say the vegetables were all fresh and tasty. Of course, to go to this Stir Crazy restaurant, you need to go to Woodfield Mall. It is located over by Sears right at the entrance. But, even if you don't go into Woodfield, parking and pushing through the crowds by the door is never fun.

Had a family lunch there on a Sunday. Our waitress was very nice and always made sure we had what we needed. I had the Thai BBQ Tacos which were so good. Everyone there enjoyed their meals. A little pricey but very good.
The food was yummy but service could be improved... First time here and was not walked through how things worked and had to ask. My 5 year old and I both went through the vegetable bar to load up our bowls after deciding we wanted to create our own dishes... noodles for him and rice bowl for me). Both were thumbs up on taste. Teriyaki sauce for him was a good bet. The Korean bbq sauce for me was yummy. The kids meal ($7) came with ice cream for dessert but waitress forgot and I had to ask for it when she brought us our check. :(. Slower service for a late lunch, and the place only had a few other tables do it wasn't too busy. Overall, it was fresh and tasty so I'd probably return if at the mall.

Watched the cook drop the plastic bag into my food while cooking in the walk. Then when we ordered egg roles and lettuce wraps it tasted like Plastic terrible!!! Service was ok but I still walked out with a 40 dollar tab for 10 dollar food

I've eaten here 3 times in the past 2 months. I love that you can mix your own veggies, sauce, give it to the cook to prepare and then get a huge meal for not much $$. The lunch menus are between 9.99 and 12.99$ I think and you get a huge portion. Service was always good. Not too much not too little. It would be nice if they had the soy sauces and spicy sauces on the table rather than having to request them but apart from that I think it's a very good place for lunch where you can be in and out within 45min if you want and still get a freshly prepared balanced meal at a good price. With the check you get fortune cookies which is a nice touch. My last one didn't have a message though...wonder what that means *

I don't understand why many people like this place. I was not impressed. My husband and I came here a few nights ago for dinner with some friends. When we left, our wallets were much lighter but we were still hungry. Not good. Once seated, I looked over the menu quickly and decided to get the make-your-own veggie dinner with lo mein noodles. I figured I couldn't go wrong with that, right? Meh. The metal bowls we were given were kind of tiny. I piled it up with vegetables (not a bad selection, I have to say), scooped in a couple ladles of sauce (the vegetarian sauces are clearly labled -- whee!), and handed it over to the cook to watch him set the cooking surface on fire and create some culinary goodness. A few minutes later, the food was brought to our table. My dish was bland. And not very big at all. My husband paid extra for chicken in his dish and barely had any chicken in it. On top of that, the noodles were so few that he practically ate everything in a few bites. We ended up paying nearly $40 for two create-your-own dishes and a tip. Ugh. Our service was wonderful, though. The waitress was attentive and the food was prepared very quick -- a little too quick, actually. Our time there was so short because of how quickly the food was ready and how fast we ate it. I guess I was expecting this to be a place where we could linger for a bit. But nope. They want us to order quickly, eat quickly, and pay a lot of money. Not coming here again. There are so many better places to spend my money.

Stir Crazy is just like Flattop Grill, but they don't let you pick your own rice or protein which was very disappointing. The amount of chicken they put in my bowl was a joke and they up charge you for chicken or steak. My bowel was also very greasy and I think they use a lot of oil when they cook. The food is not bad its just not worth the price for what you get and with the oil it wasn't super healthy. Very mediocre and I would rather go to Flattop.

Tea steeped in the pot and right at the table. That's how you do it. And no problem with service although kind of quiet on a Monday night in mid August. And not the Saturday after Thanksgiving - I mean who goes to the mall on that Saturday. That's why the internet was invented Egg drop soup to start was good if just a tad salty and could have been just a wee hotter. Bangkok noodles with chicken good as well with an interesting sauce - spicy but not overly so. And certainly a generous portion. Service fine, fast, friendly and timely. Sometimes traveling solo for business you can be rushed or ignored. Not here All fine. And did I mention the whole teapot thing?

Ive had good and not so good food here. Service has always been less than par. Well, this past Monday evening was the last time I'll visit this mall restaurant. All because of lack of service. And then... there was the manager. He had the chance to turn it all around, but instead sunk the whole evening. All because I ordered a cocktail. It was like 4:30pm, not busy at all. My cocktail was made, as I could see it sitting on the bar. Several minutes went by. In fact a server went up to the service well (bar end) and spent several minutes talking with the bartender. Neither of them seemed to notice the fact was cocktail was dying in the well. They both walked away. My server finally walked towards the bar, looked over to the bar and then kept walking to the kitchen, directly past my table, too. We got our food (NOTE: appetizers came together with our dinners), and I'm still waiting for my cocktail, so I asked the food runner to get our server. But then... my cocktail was delivered. By the Bartender. He sincerely apologized and told me he was making the drink again, so that is would be fresh and that it was on the house. OK... recovery. All was forgiven. Cocktail was good, food okay. Dinner was over. Now... this is where the management needs training!! I get the check, the drink is on the bill. I walk over to ask the bartender, as my server had no idea this all went down (as far as I knew, because why else would he deliver me a check with the drink on it). He apologized and said he'd fix that. HOWEVER, instead a manager came to my table and asked me who said the drink was on the house. He said the bartender shouldn't have promised that, and because it was already on the bill he couldn't remove it. REALLY!!?? Was he serious!!?? Instead he gave me two $5 off coupons for my next visit. Even said he was giving me two coupons as that would cover the drink. OMG. I will not be back because of how the manager handled it. The bartender should be the manager. The server should get a job doing something other than serving. And the manager... well, you decide.

Stir Crazy has an unlimited lunch option for only $11 - it's crazy! I was shocked when I saw this option on the menu because I was never really a big fan of Stir Crazy. I always thought the price didn't justify a plate of stir fry but this is a game changer. It's now a buffet with unlimited fresh ingredients and quality sauces. With your choice of beef, chicken, shrimp, and even ahi tuna, it's definitely worth it. I recommend doing a combination of Thai Curry and Peanut Sauce with wide noodles and your protein of choice. For fans of Thai food, it tastes like panang curry with noodles - a must try. Since its unlimited, you can try a variety of combinations. Get c-crazy!

Been here many times: market bar is great and so is anything else on the item. However, service has declined. If you get the server with the red hair and arm tattoo, ask for another. She did not come back to our table after giving us water for 20 minutes.

This place was lovely! I did not expect the food to be this good! If you come you have to try the Thai BBQ tacos (preferred chicken) and their potsticker. You can also make your own dish with their salad bar. The waitress was very nice, she made sure we were good and satisfied! :)

Mongolian beef was a pretty small portion. Service was pretty bad. Waited a good amount of time for the server to come to us after being seated. It was not busy either. Then the server of course didn't bother getting us refills on our drinks. The food wasn't great either.

I am a big fan of this place. Their sauces are incredible (lots to choose from) they have all sorts of veggies, and their fried rice is really good. However, stay away from the fried spring rolls, they aren't that great.

I've been coming here since high school and although things have changed, lots are for the better. Now stir crazy offers unlimited bowls of "make your own creation", which I always get here. I'm not even sure what else is good here since I've never tried anything else. The vegetables in the vegetable bar is crisp, clean, and looks fresh. The staff tries to keep the bar clean which is always nice. I also get chicken with rice noodles, man my mouth is drooling just thinking bout it. If you haven't tried your own, I would definitely recommend it. Something I didn't know is that Stir Crazy is affiliated with Flat Top, I would say that Stir Crazy is a star above Flat Top and a bit more classier. I've also tried their dessert - banana wonton. Now those are to die for!

Ordered Mongolian beef and was disappointed with the small serving. Taste is ok nothing special that excite me to come back.

Here is a place that serves good food consistently. I like that the menu changes, and there is always something you haven't tried because the "build your own" concept keeps your taste options forever open and is fun. My wife loves to build her own soup called "Pho". It's all Asian food done in a very American fashion, so if you're looking for authentic, this is not it. Remember that this is located at a mall which is always packed, so expect to wait to get a table and expect to wait for service/food. The atmosphere is family friendly, so expect kids to be there and to be loud. I think the staff does a fantastic job at keeping everything clean. Enjoy!

Happy birthday to MEEEEE! Stir Crazy was one of the many restaurants that sent me a free birthday meal last month. We're trying to cut back on our spending, so I didn't use many of my free birthday coupons. I have actually never been to a Stir Crazy and I thought it was worth a try since it was a BOGO deal. First impression of this place...it looks like every other single chain restaurant when you walk in the front door (ie. Red Robin, Friday's). The host staff was not anywhere to be found when we walked in the door. We haven't been here before, so I didn't know how it worked, but we waited a few minutes and eventually were greeted by a young lady who sat us at a table in the dining room. The tables looked clean but didn't feel it. I'm not sure we were eating on the cleanest table or if it was the finish of the table. Either way, I wasn't having the best experience up until this point. Our server definitely helped repair the damage during his first visit to our table. He was kind and patient with us, two people who have no idea how their system worked. I asked a lot of questions and he really seemed to know his menu. I found the 'create your own stir fry' on the menu. The first question...can I use my free meal birthday coupon on this item?? He informed me I could. Done and done. We can build our own stir fry...perfect! How it works: You order your protein and rice/noodle from the server who then brings you the empty bowls with a ticket stating your protein and rice/noodle choice. Your protein options are Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Salmon or Ahi Tuna. The chicken and beef were a $3 upcharge and the seafood options were more like $4 or $5 more. You can select white or brown rice, lo-mein, flat rice or Shanghai wheat noodles. I opted for chicken and lo-mein and the hubs selected the beef and brown rice (healthy boy wannabe!) You fill up your bowl with veggies of your choice and the smaller ramekin with your sauce of choice. The veggies options include red and green peppers, water chestnuts, celery, green onions, white onions, broccoli, carrots and the list goes on. Other items included: peanuts, garlic, red peppers, and my personal favorite...Ginger!!! I was impressed by all the sauce options they had. They had sweet stuff, they had a few spicy flavors, they offer garlic, Kung pao, you name it! After you fill up your bowl to the brim and portion out how much sauce you want, you pass your bowl over the counter to the cook that you can watch cook your meat/seafood; add your veggies and sauce and POOF! Your meal is ready. The rice is served on the side; the noodles are mixed in with your dish. Now here's my favorite part! You can go through this process before you leave and take a doggie bag home for $3 more. That's lunch for the next two days if you don't need a huge lunch for $1.50 a day. This is exactly what we did since someone (me) didn't get to the store for lunch creations that particular week. In fact, you can tell the cook it's 'to-go' and he will put it directly into a plastic container to take home. When the time came to pay the bill, it took a while to get the bill from the server. I was starting to get antsy, mainly because I was tired, full and just wanted to go home but it was worth the wait because our super sweet server was in the back getting fried banana won-tons for me as a special birthday treat. SCORE!! Seriously, these may have been the best thing I have ever eaten inside Woodfield mall. I wished I hadn't eaten so much because honestly, I wanted to eat the entire plate of won-tons. Thank you, Stir Crazy for the special treatment. You definitely got yourself a few new customers! Additional notes: Kids 10 and under eat FREE Tuesday and Thursday nights after 4pm. One free kid's meal w/each adult meal purchased. Park in the parking garage just northeast of the Sears and SC is just across from the garage.

When we used to go here all the time, it would only be for the stir fry, which I thought was all right but not as good as BD's Mongolian BBQ. In part, this is because over there, you could load up on a bowl full of nothing but meat and they wouldn't look at you twice. So instead I went to the menu and ordered Sweet Chile Tilapia, which arrived atop a bed of vegetables and beside some vegetable fried rice. We also got potstickers, I got a mango spritzer, and my wife got the stir fry with chicken, which I didn't taste enough of to remember or rate. The drink was good, the vegetable fried rice was better (so many vegetables, and the rice actually had flavor, thank God). I liked the tilapia the best, though I thought it would come with a crispier breadcrumb crust than it did. Still the fish was fresh and went well with the sweet chile sauce. Which, by the way, was not hot at all, so ignore the single flame next to it on the menu. Potstickers were decent. Again I note the relatively flavorless sauce that's served with it... but overall it was passable. They even cleaned up after my 11-month old decide to hurl supper onto the restaurant floor, which we both appreciated. So consider the service pretty darn good.

First time I ever came here to have complaints. Been coming to stir crazy for a long time. Did the bar like always and my white rice. I don't know if it was the time I came or what. It's 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. My rice was over steamed and was hard and dry. Our waiter Javier did what he could to please us. His customer service was great. I had to complain so much he ended up going to the manager. She had a I don't care attitude. When we walked in (my wife with my child and I) she had her back toward us. And we stood there for 2ish min. When she came to us about our bad food she still had the I don't care attitude and wasn't very happy about us complaining as if no one ever complains. Over all the whole meal they gave me one of my meals for free. Not happy that I didn't enjoy my food.

As a Flat Top lover, I figured I'd dig this place because it's similar in concept. Wrong. The host was friendly. That's all of the nice things I've got to say about this place. The stir fry bar is weak. Half the offerings of Flat Top. The sauces are bland and watery. I ordered noodles in my stir fry and they came to the table mushy and gross. The service was a total mess. I ordered shrimp and tofu as my proteins, I saw it on the slip. After I put my mini wok up there, I got a steaming hot plate of watery food with shrimp... but no tofu. When I brought it to the waitresses attention, she said, "yeah, sometimes they don't pay attention to the slips when they're busy (?!)" and brought me a dish of tofu cubes that hadn't been cooked in anything. I love tofu and all but the whole point of getting it in a stir fry is so that they absorb the flavor of the sauces. I didn't want a plate of tofu cubes. Multiple trips to the bar? I think not. One plate of watery, flavorless, mushy, tofu-less stirfry for $11.50 was plenty for me. What a waste of a lunch date and calories. Never again.

In 2 wks we've been back 3 times and bought different friends with us each time. A good manager (John) leads and creates good quality people/teams - chefs & waiters! Ask for our waiter Jeff. He's been excellent and you won't be disappointed. The fresh stir fry bar is the way to go. Our friends all loved it and we really enjoyed a pleasant night out. It's always a bonus to find a place that has both good food and service happening at once. We love this place.

I love Stir Crazy. I ate here every year for my birthday dinner for like five years in a row. I always get the make your own stir fry with chicken, Shanghai noodles, and teriyaki sauce. I had leftovers that I had planned on saving for lunch the next day, but I ended up eating them later that night. My mom ordered the sesame chicken, which I had a taste of: so good! I just can't bring myself to not order the make your own. It's been an on-going struggle for over a decade. Peace. Love. Stir Crazy.

I've been here three times now and the worst time was the last time I was there and I probably won't be returning. I loved the unlimited amount of times you could go through the stir fry line. But not anymore! It is now one size fits all but sometimes one size fits all first always fit everyone. I ended up getting a regular entree and it was decent, nothing spectacular and the waitress was a little odd and I didn't like her much. Too shy to wait on people. The other times I came here, everything was fresh and there was so many options and I could go up and try things as many times as I want. But I guess I will take myself to flat top from now on. Sorry stir crazy you have turned into a disappointment.

I've been to many a restaurant that puts its customers to work. And that's usually what it feels like. (ya know... you put the meal together yourself and then get some kind of payoff aka food/money). However stir crazy was different. Unlike mongolian barbecue, I didn't feel restricted by their rules on portions etc... Stir crazy is a more fresh alternative to traditional chinese food. You can pile on the veggies and then they'll add the protein you want along with the noodles/rice that you order. It's genius. On top of all that, you can make your own sauce (I'd recommend more teriyaki because you know you'll never have enough). It's also got a pretty sweet ambiance. Goin back.

Have been coming here for years maybe two or three times a year anyway last night the service was the same as always Very good , the food very good , appetizers very good , our server Lizabeth was great, this place is always good for a fast and good food diner or lunch

Average, nothing spectacular. We had the orange peel chicken ($13) with a side of fried rice ($1.49) and the teriyaki salmon. It was good, but I've had better.

Been here plenty and the service has been good for food and drinks! But I must say that I will NEVER go here ever again!!.:..My girlfriend and I had to do some bridal shopping so we needed a stress reliever. Walked in thru the entrance of Stir Crazy, and straight to the bar. Vacant...Man standing near..I asked if he was the bartender, and he replied YES! We weren't sure what we wanted bc we didn't have time to LaLa Gag. So, as a request to the "bartender", I asked for something he can make that is "straight to the point and not sweet." He did not understand what we may be interested in even after trying to explain myself for about 2-3 mins so I gave up, and he commented that I didn't need to be drinking anyways! My girlfriend walked out, but I asked him what that was supposed to mean? He implied that I was not in the position to drink any alcohol nor her! HOW IGNORANT AND RUDE!! NEVER AGAIN. WILL I, OR MY FRIENDS GO THERE EVER AGAIN!! Learn Customer Service! You Never Know Who Your Dealing With or Their Situation, So Be Considerate! Btw, they say his name was Danny ! And this was in the afternoon, about 4pm! SO Uncalled For! :(

My husband and I love Stir Crazy. It's one of our go-to places for a nice dinner out without breaking the bank. This location is large and clean, and the selection is great. I have never ordered off the menu in my many years of going to Stir Crazy - I always make my own. I love the freedom to choose what I like, and mix and match sauces and flavors. The prep bowl you are given may seem small at first, but when the meat and grain are added, it ends up being a HUGE meal! I always take home half. This last go, I tried the strawberry lemonade, and it was the best I've ever had, no joke. I have always been a fan of normal Stir Crazy lemonade (it's not that Minute Maid garbage many places serve from the soda maker), but this tastes like they've added actual strawberry puree to it. It was hard to resist when our server offered a to-go cup ;) Our server this last trip, Jafet, was perhaps the most friendly server we've ever had, anywhere. A+

Stir Crazy kinda makes me crazy. I seriously don't understand what the deal is with these average restaurants located in massive shopping malls, that somehow feel justified pricing their average food with high prices. It doesn't make sense. Maybe my standards are entirely too high. Who knows. Either way, I'm one of the suckers who continuously goes back and pays. It's the convenience factor. Well, and lack of better options. The best part of Stir Crazy is their "Right Size & Price" options. ((Which I have noticed went up from $8.88 to $9.88)). You have the option of choosing a variety of their menu options at a smaller portion, and with a veggie spring roll. My preference is the Sweet & Spicy Chicken or the Sesame Chicken. They also have the "do it yourself" stir fry bar where you have the option of a wide variety of veggies and sauces. Although you can pick the type of protein and noodles, you can't pick the amount. Bummer. Sometimes I like a lot of noodles and rice with my veg and tofu! Service is decent. It's not spectacular. I usually have to ask to have my water refilled, which sucks in my book. For the price, service, and quality of food...I just don't think Stir Crazy is top notch. Decent at best.

If you like a decent veggie stir-fry, this is the place for it. Otherwise, there's nothing really special here. There were two ladies sitting at the bar drinking glasses of Sangria. I thought, "now that would be a change of pace" and ordered one, but upon hearing me, one of the ladies was quick to say it was really not too good. So I ordered a draft beer. I ended up ordering chicken pad thai. Kudos to them for including generous amounts of chicken and tofu, but given the cost ($13.95), it should be loaded with chicken and tofu. I guess that's what I have against these "Ameri-Asian" places - they serve the food in a nice dish in a "trendy" looking establishment and charge 30-40% more than a local mom & pop restaurant would - and the local [place often makes the dish better. So if you're up for some Asian food ala USA, go for it; otherwise head to a local shop.

This place seemed really slow on for dinner tue. Night. I ordered stir crazy pick your stir fry. The next day for two whole days by stomach was burning like it was on fire! I had neausea. And thought I was going to die! On the bathroom floor about to pass out! I had to call off of work! I been going to other stir crazy and never experience anything like this! They supposed to scoop my rice and put to side of dish like they always do when u order the pick your stir fry but the guy put everything together which made my dish soggy! I now know why this place is so dead! They suck! The server came by when we first sat down and never asked for our drink order! He just came and say hi and said I'll be back. He was a bad server. The food was spoiled. I have gone to other stir crazy and they are always busy and never got sick but this place was terrible. They should close!

First off I never knew there even was a Stir Crazy in the mall! They need to advertise better - they have some strong competition. Anyways, I came here for a girls' night out. We sat down at the bar for a few drinks and had the best bartender - he was very nice, attentive, made drinks that weren't even on the menu, and let us try a sake bomb for free. They have some great drinks, and $5 martinis on Wednesdays! The food was great too - I did the make your own stir fry. There were a lot of sauces, meats, and veggies to choose from. They make it right in front of you - it was very good! The service was a little slow, but we had a big group. The atmosphere isn't very warm and inviting. They also forgot to make a reservation for us even though we called. However, the place was dead (don't know why) so we got right in.

Again I feel like I need a half star, 3.5 I mean. Like Mongolian grill but better. At least that's how I feel. They have a decent deal going with your stir fry and it's pseudo subway-like stir fry scheme. Maybe I don't remember correctly, but everything here just seems fresher. Or maybe for me, it's loading on the Thai curry sauce that makes me love eating here. They give you a pretty good portion of protein and you can really fill yourself up on the vegetables from the salad bar. It's not cheap by any means but it's still decently priced when compared to rainforest cafe or Cheesecake Factory. I've never had a bad experience here but also nothing that would make me say, "this is my favorite place to eat at woodfield."

Terrible service and bad attitude from the manager. Food ok, but menu kept on changing every time we went there since the past few years. This time we were seated right away and a new server was serving us. She didn't know if they still have Pho Bowl, which apparently was taken off the menu. She came back to tell me that I can order the market bar in soup. But she doesn't know what soup they have. After seeing that obviously she hasn't been there long enough (as she said that she is new) she didn't know what Pho Bowl was. I had to insist on asking her to ask the manager. She was fine asking. From where I was sitting I could see her talking to the manager who was not happy at all to talk to her, but she reluctantly came by and gave us the most insincere "how are you doing" greeting. When I told her what I was looking for she just repeated what the server said without any inclination of reassuring me that she knew what I am asking and that the soup was indeed the same or what I should pick off the menu. It wasn't even a busy night, the restaurant was barely half full (no wonder). Our family has gone to this place since they opened many years ago. I admit that we live far so we don't come here every month. But it seems every so often when we are here, menu is different and price went up and service level went down. At the beginning it had a more upscale feeling. I wish I got the manager's name but I didn't. The server also forgot to put in our appetizer order completely. I don't want to fault her for that since she was new, but given the attitude the manager has towards her and towards us, I doubt if she is getting the proper training and support as a new employee.

I'm a huge fan of Flat Top Stir Fry and since this was part of the chain I was expecting the same/similar food. Boy was I wrong. Avoid at all costs, no matter how much sauce you put in it, it's flavorless. They should close this down and open a Flat Top. There you can choose your own meats, they offer more sauce varieties as well as a larger, fresher variety of veggies.

Im not very adventurous when it comes to food, so I always stick with the sweet and spicy chicken. Ugh, its to die for. Service is always great, and if it couldn't get any better, they put cherries in my pepsi and to me folks, that is love.

Good food and great staff, that pretty much defines the place. I love that I can get an employee discount since I work at Macy's, so if you are a fellow mall employee take advantage of the discount! I came in around 3 and was seated and served very quickly, I was pleased. I ate about half and I was stuffed, so you definitely get your money's worth here. I didn't like PF Changs at all and I thought this place would be the same, I was happily surprised with the quality and quantity compared to PF Changs. I will come by again some time.

Stir Crazy is awesome!!! I especially love this location, as it is most convenient for me. Yesterday I went here with a couple of girlfriends, and had a great meal! We came in kind of late (8:30ish), and having been a server previously, I know it sucks when a table comes in so late. Our server was extremely attentive. He took his time, didn't rush us, and made sure we knew all of our options. Dinner was delicious! My friend got the tuna avocado poke for appetizer (WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAVS), and I got the crab rangoon for an appetizer. I love their crab rangoon because there is actually more crab than cream cheese! It is quite delish! For my main course my new favorite thing is their asian caeser salad. If you haven't had it, you must! They have the best Caesar dressing infused with ginger (or something like that). I usually get it with grilled steak (which isn't a menu option), but it is also good with chicken, shrimp, or calamari. Yesterday I splurged and got steak AND calamari! Overall we had an awesome experience, so I suggest you try it out!

This is my favorite faux ethnic cuisine in or around Woodfield mall. Big Bowl gets too crowded; PF Chang uses Italian pasta noodles in the chow fun instead of haw fun (rice noodles); that sushi buffet is mostly seafood. My favorite here is the coconut curry noodles with vegetables. My second favorite is building some delicious monstrosity at the stir-fry bar. If you are vegetarian like me, the staff will usually be able to tell you which of the sauces there are acceptable, but not always. Similarly, sometimes I come here and they're on refills like flies on stink, but other times my little pot of tea sits and sits while I wait for more hot water to put inside it. I don't know if I missed it or if it's not on the menu in the colder seasons, but over the summer I had some from-scratch ginger ale here that was just about the best thing ever on a hot, muggy day. If you see this on the menu, try it! This makes Seagrams taste like tap water. I came here with my nephew recently, and while his tiny two-month-old hands can't hold chopsticks yet, they gave him a little plastic wedge to help him learn to use chopsticks (just like they give to every kid), plus some crayons. This seems like a good place to take kids, especially if you're trying to broaden their culinary horizons but are afraid that taking them to Szechuan Palace will burn their little mouths right off their faces. Stir Crazy even has an actual kids' menu. Finally, I should note that you can switch for brown rice to make many dishes healthier, parking can be a real nuisance on the weekends, and the genmaicha tea is excellent. If you end up at PF Chang wondering why your Chinese food looks like something from Little Italy, don't say I didn't warn you.

I love this place the vegetables are so fresh. I'm a big veggie lover so any time I can get stir fry I'm so down with it. I got steak with noodles and a ton of veggie. It was so darn good. The only down fall was its not all you can eat. I will be back

Full disclosure: I worked here from 2002-2007. And I know a lot of people that work in this company. I will now make that irrelevant by being objective. After all, 5 years of waiting tables should have made me cynical and bitter, right? I love Stir Crazy. It boils down to this: they have great food. In fact, I'm going to say this: they have the best Asian food in Schaumburg, and I've eaten at almost every Asian restaurant in Schaumburg. They are better than Big Bowl. They are better than P.F. Changs. They are better than Yu's Mandarin. If you disagree with this statement and have eaten at Stir Crazy before, I would guess that you've made your own stir fry and have not ordered off of the menu. "Create-your-own" is a big seller at Stir Crazy, but if that's all you do when you go to SC, you are cheating yourself out of a far better experience. Take it from me. I taught food classes at this location once upon a time. Here are some dishes that I think Stir Crazy does better than anyone: 1) Asian Cajun Tuna (a large tuna sashimi with a wasabi dressing that is to die for) 2) Sesame Chicken (one of the most popular dishes, SC uses a mango sauce instead of the traditional sweet and sour) 3) Kung Pao Noodles (Everywhere else, KPN ends up tasting like a pile of salt and it isn't very spicy at all. Stir Crazy brings the heat and the sauce is fantastic) 4) Sesame Calamari (the best fried calamari I have ever had anywhere. No joke.) 5) Mango Margaritas (I am a margarita purist, but I will make an exception in this case). There are more dishes I could list, but those 5 are solid dishes to start with. Stir Crazy can accommodate basically any diet or allergy restriction, the staff is generally very friendly (even without me), and the atmosphere is pretty calm (outside of the Christmas season)and family friendly. The decor is cool- not as cool as Big Bowl or Changs, but modern and inviting nonetheless. The line cooks have been with the company since forever- they're really friendly (if you're doing a create your own stir fry) and know their business very well. Stir Crazy has its problems from time to time like any restaurant, and it might not be as hip as some other locations if you're looking to go on a hot date; however, I'd be remiss if I didn't highly recommend it. Some things are just more important than decor if you're looking for a good meal- like the meal- and that's what keeps me coming back.

We had dinner here about a week ago when staying in the Schaumburg area. Overall, Stir Crazy delivered a positive experience. The ambiance is nice and trendy. We all tried their custom stir fry, where you pick your protein, load up a bowl with veggies and sauce(s) of choice, and then their chefs stir fry it for you, and all three of us enjoyed our meals. Wait staff was quick and attentive, and prices were reasonable if a little high. My only real complaint is that I ordered tuna as my protein, and the quantity of tuna they provided was really small -- only a few small chunks, probably no more than 3/4 cup uncooked. Given that they charge a premium for tuna, I would have expected a larger portion.

My husband and I go here on ocassion...I was craving Thai food and we were at the mall and decided to grab dinner (despite our horrible last experience there). The food was solid as usual. I always get the Pad Thai noodles with peanut sauce on the side...I always enjoy this every time I come here. The place was fairly empty, so the service was pretty good. I also recommend the plum wine! Its only $6.50 and its DELICIOUS! I would suggest this place if your in Woodfield mall and would like a solid meal!

I really have been having a hard time trying to figure out how many stars to give - 3 (A-OK) or 4 (Yay! I'm a fan). I think its a solid 3.5 stars however, I don't have that option. So considering the experience itself was quite nice I bumped it up. We knew it would be of the more "Generic American Asian Cuisine" genre, and pretty much got what we expected. I must say my meal was by far the best. I had the Pho and loved it. I can't wait to try the dish in an actual Vietnamese restaurant as I really enjoyed this one. I tried my hubby's and daughters dishes, which were good but not mind blowing. My daughters was so heavy she took a few bites and was full. Service was great and the manager made a point to come and ask how everything was so that is definitely a plus. I can't believe I popped my Pho cherry at a "Generic American Asian Cuisine" place but am quite glad I did.

So it was our first time at Stir Crazy, me and two other friends went here to try it out. Looked nice, the setting was simple yet classy. The menu is full of choices, my two friends got the unlimited stir fry (8.99 at lunch) and I got the Thai BBQ tacos, roti prata bread as the taco shell! I was so excited for it. When it came out, it looked just like the picture and I got so excited, I dug in, and wasn't something I expected. It was okay but my expectations were pretty high that I was disappointed. My friends didn't like their stir fry very much, and the waiter didn't come by much so drinks weren't refilled often. Overall the bill was around 50 for 3 of us, which included appetizer (lettuce wraps), entree for each of us, drinks, and an order of roti prata bread. Will I go here again? I don't think so, not a fan and not a good first time, sorry stir crazy, but i'm not too crazy about you I would take your asian cravings else where

J & I usually try and avoid Woodfield at all costs. Even more around the holidays, but were scoping out places to eat and remembered that we had enjoyed Stir Crazy before so we ducked in here and it was close. Wait was about 20 minutes. Hostess was really chipper and outgoing and made the rounds after we were seated. Our server Julisz was really gracious/ attentive, but not overly hovering attentive. He was a newbie and mentioned that. We asked a few questions. What he didn't know he went to ask and said he was in learning mode so he didn't mind the questions. He gets a 5 all the way. Ordered the Lobster Spring Roll which was pretty good. Suprisingly I had a pretty big piece of lobster even though I'm pretty sure it was faux lobster. Still tasted alright. Vegetables inside were pretty fresh. I went with the shrimp fried rice which was ok. Nothing to write home about. Was a little too buttery tasting and mushy. I've had better. J ordered the chicken Pad Thai. Chicken tasted like Tyson chicken wasn't all that great and was prettty average for Pad Thai. Kind of reminded me of those Asian Delight box dinners. Tofu was a plus and probably the best part. White rice tasted like Uncle Ben's. Service was great. Food not so great. I'm learning not to expect too much from the "fusion" places and wondering when these will fuse out.

Being a "chain" restaurant, it isn't exactly authentic Asian cuisine, but it does hit the spot. I ordered Thai and requested it to be spicy, it was just right good portions and great flavors. Good service, our server did an excellent job at trying to upsell the menu, well done ! We didn't bite, but it is always nice to see the effort. Extra point for the Manager walking around making it a point to stop at every table to make everything was ok. Good to see...basic customer service principles. Makes you feel a bit extra special, and that is good !

This particular location was a hit and a miss for me. I don't tend to gravitate toward bigger chain restaurants, especially those found within a mall, but it proved to be pretty decent all around. The first time I went was with my family, and the service was awful. It took our server 20 minutes to come out with our water, and then another 10 minutes to get our order. She also had a strong accent, so it was very difficult to communicate with her. We eventually had to speak with another server because we were getting pretty hungry and running out of patience. However, once we got our questions answered and our orders in, the rest of the dinner was pleasant. Another time I went was during a shopping trip during the day. I decided to try their lunch specials, and they turned out to be great. They are much cheaper than the dinner entrees and very well-priced. Our service was much better the second time around, too! So, if you are ever near Woodfield and have a craving for some Asian food, I recommend trying Stir Crazy out for lunch rather than dinner!

Our waitress was very rude and not at all knowledgeable about the menu. I was very nice to her and politely stressed that I would like fried rice (sensed she was going to screw up) and she showed up with white rice. No big deal but she acted like I was lying to her or something when I asked for the correct order. The food was average...Thai Iced tea was decent, sesame chicken was average (although the sauce was uber) and the spring roll was good. You won't miss anything if you don't come here.

I honestly was not impressed at all. I got the sweet and sour chicken and paid EXTRA for fried rice. By the time I got it, it wasn't like any s&s chicken I've ever had. It was filled with vegetables and not much chicken.. And the fried rice was at the bottom and soaked in sauce....so basically it didn't matter what kind of rice I got because I couldn't taste it. I also ordered egg drop soup and it was SO DISGUSTING. It didn't even taste like egg drop soup. It was a tan or a brownish tint... As far as I know egg drop is yellow. It smelled like hot cat food. The only decent thing that I ate were the pork pot stickers, but yet again not phenomenal. I will never waste my money here again. Flat top is so much more enjoyable and delicious....!!!

I am eating my Stir Crazy leftovers as I write this review. I love Asian food. I love stir-fry. I love vegetables (Fresh ones, especially). I love knowing what is going into my food. I love seeing my food be made. This place is win. Choose your, erm, carb: noodles, or white or brown rice. Choose your meat. $2.50 for chicken, what? I didn't like that. Pile your (metal?) bowl with as much veggies as you like. Add sauce. They will stir-fry it right before your eyes. They're very fast, surprised I didn't see anyone drop a plate or burn an eyebrow off. My dinner was delicious and left me very full. I normally hate leftovers but I was actually excited to eat these leftovers. One problem I had...I saw someone preparing dishes off to the side and grabbing ingredients with bare hands...um...wow gross. Big turn off.

The food's yummy and really hits the spot, but I think it is overpriced for what it is. Great location, super nice staff and cooks. However, the last time I was their my waiter was being a little bit...too friendly. Watch it! I go here if I'm at the mall and I want to grab something quick, not too expensive, and moderately healthy.

Originally wanted to go to PF Changs but there was a 1 hr wait. So me and the Bf went here. Service was good. The food... not so much. I been here before but this was my first time creating my own stirfry. I had the chicken w/lo mein noodles & classic chinese sauce. - the sauce was bland - the dish tasted as if I was just eating oil - there was nothing spectacular, or even good the bf has the sweet & spicy chicken - it tasted funny period. overall for $25 it wasnt too bad. But next time ill wait at PF Changs.

It was my first time here.I like the idea of making your own meal.however I ordered something off the menu instead. Waiter was very pleasant and constantly was making sure we were okay. Bathroom was not clean, at the time, at all.I mentioned it to the manager and he took care of it right away. The Japanese Steak meal I ordered did not sit well at all.mind you, I'm a big steak and ribs kind of guy, but this steak did not sit well at all that I had to go to the bathroom just half way through my meal. Don't think I will be coming back.

Interesting concept I've seen done before at other stir fry restaurants / buffets. Ofcourse, they have a traditional menu to order from but it's more fun to create your own dish via the ingredient bar. Here you will choose what vegetables, sauces and other stuff to use in your stir fry. You will then hand it to the cook who will turn it into a stir fry. It's basically what every stir fry dish is, outside of your home. The convenience is that you don't have a mess to clean up and someone cooks it for you. In essence, you can basically mix and match the sauces to create your degree of hotness, sweetness, etc. Overall, I enjoyed this place for what it is... an excuse not to cook and still have a great meal! I recommend trying the rib sampler. It has an Asian flair to it as the sauce on the ribs are more of a Teriyaki or Chinese type of glaze on it.

I had a very positive experience here with 3 of my friends. I am on a restricted diet. Elizabeth, the manager, had a list of everything in the food and actually had the kitchen make a salad dressing from scratch for me without sugar. The host seated us by mistake at a table and they moved us, and bought an appetizer for the table. The food was good and fresh, nothing earth shattering, but from a mall restaurant, very good quality. They even specially sanitized the grill, so I would not get any allergic reaction to other foods. Above and beyond, in my book.

Only been to Stir Crazy once and I don't think I would every go back. I rather have real Chinese food. 1st off I never got any refills on my soda. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and there were a lot of veggies and barely any chicken. I always have left overs and I didn't have any left over because there wasn't a lot and I wasn't even that full. For whatever Chicken I did have it was good. But I'll pass sorry Stir Crazy.

We wanted to go to Cheesecake Factory but it was a mob scene. No line at Stir Crazy so we went. I used to really like this place. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and egg roll combo. It was hot so that was good. The egg rolls were tasty but very oily and there was oil on the plates. I thought the Kung Pao was not flavored with spicy brown sauce but hot oil. The dishes are rounded so all my sauce was in the bottom with oil stuck to the noodles. Ive never had so many peppers in my dish. Hubby had the ribs and spicy sweet chicken. He liked them but I thought they both tasted funny. Waitress was super nice and very good with refills. Less oil guys and the food would be a lot better. Combos were a great deal though.

Food = 5 star Service = 0 stars Even the manager is awful. We came here for a business lunch one afternoon and the waitress was seating people and making drinks and trying to wait our table. She had NO skills at waitressing such as noticing when drinks were getting low, when the 4th in our party arrived about 2 minutes after us he just picked up the menu to look and she was already asking if we were ready to order. ALL the little things and then at the end we were waiting about 10 minutes trying to wave her down to get boxes and finally I had to walk over to the waitress station to get our own boxes. When she noticed that she came over and dripped our check. The food is really good, and there is one gentleman that waiters there that is really great!

I mean - the place is what it is. It's a chain Mongolian barbecue type place. They give you your little bowl, you fill it up, they throw it in a wok and away you go. The only real differences are you don't put the meat in the bowl, they do that for you, and they do have a real menu for other items. It worked for lunch, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Our waiter ignored us. So, after sitting for 20 min. I waived over the manager and placed our order. We had the Pu pu platter. That contained spring rolls, ribs and potstickers. This was tasty and the highlight of our meal. My husband had the Kung Pao chicken and I had the Hong Kong steak. Both were flavorless. I could have ordered something for 1/2 the price at a Chinese restaurant and it would have been tastier. My final verdict is order appetizers only here.

My go to menu item, is the Japanese Steak ($19), grilled filet mignon topped with a soy butter mushroom medley and served with grilled wasabi asparagus and frizzled sesame onions. I substitute the asparagus with more fizzled onions. The mushroom medley is a bit salty due to the soy butter, but its still very amazingly good in combo with the meat and onions. If I had to choose between Stir Crazy and Flat Top Grill for create-your-own-stir fry, I would definitely choose Stir Crazy. Good selection of vegetables, an even better selection of sauces, and better meat. The meat is very tender, not chewy or rough. They also provide a better show. Every meal they prepare is a show, but they sometimes will dim the lights in the restaurant, bang the gong and the chefs fire up their woks. I don't know if they do this during dinner, since I've only seen it done during lunch time.

Love it! They have a huge variety of items for the stir fry and their entrees are great too. If your budget is tight then try the crazy $8.88 deal. They offer 8 entrees for $8.88. The entree include a spring roll & rice/noodles. Good deal! Leave room for dessert! You must try the banana wontons - they are AWESOME! UPDATE 11/23/11: I went here a few weeks ago and found a hair in my eggroll. It wasn't a small piece of hair either. It was a long black strand. Good thing I decided to cut the eggroll first before eating it. The waitress apologized numerous times (even though it wasn't her fault) and the manager took it off the bill. The waitress continued to apologize and tell me how she could relate because she found a spider in her meal at Stir Crazy (different location though).

This place is hot ale carte garbage. Food was bad, service was bad, prices were bad. Want shrimp? Pay $2 on top of your meal charge for some rice and vegetables. I can't even write a review because there is not much to write about except for I was disappointed. Maybe its just preference.

I opted into the make your own stirfry thing, and I was not a fan of whatever it was I congered up. (Vegetarian here...you usually can't go wrong with a bunch of veggies.) It was just terribly bland, I suppose. The only thing special was the seasonal ingredients. The lettuce wraps were great. My boyfriend liked his meal. Our waitress was also excellent, even though she was nervous and told us she was new. I wish I remembered her name. I feel like the place was also very pricey...

Food was okay (flat top is better) the cooks messed up the order twice, our waiter (Gaston I think) was the only bright spot.

It's worth checking out if you like Asian food and you're at the Woodfield mall. It's hard for them to compete with Big Bowl. It's really hard to mess up stir fry.

Spectacularly underwhelming stir fry. Small pre packaged beef. Salty and unappealing. Much better out there. On the plus side....our waitress was good.

Wait staff was understaffed for a weekend. Our server was running around between a few tables. He blotched up my order by substituting Tofu in place of the tuna I ordered for the stir fry. It was a bit of disappointment and to his credit he offered to fix it, but I took a pass. Didn't seem worth the hassle. Word of advice: maintain distance between the chefs wok when he is stir frying. Right after I told my wife the same and she heeded my caution, there was a blob of oil/sauce that splattered on the ledge. Close call I have had better tasting food at smaller asian restaurants. I am giving them an Okay rating because of efforts on the part of the server eventhough he was overwhelmingly busy and also because of the desserts. We had mango creme brulee and banana wonton(served with vanilla ice-cream)

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is ok. I wish the sauces had a little more oomph to them. There's never a wait (or 5 or 10 minutes). We were here on a fri night at about 7pm. Big bowl had an hour and half wait so we ended up here. I had the make your own stir fry. You go up to a veggie bar and fill your dish. The veggie bar tonight was really messy, missing ingredients and little bits if this were in that. You pick a sauce, out of about 12 and hand your bowl and sauce to a chef who cooks it right there on a super hot wok. Sometimes you will even see flames shooting up to the ceiling. That part is fun. Overall, for an average meal, it's just fine. If you're looking for the best stir fry you ever ate, you may want to move along.

Hadn't been here in years (since 06) but recently went with friends for lunch on a weekday & was pretty impressed! The decor is modern, clean & we were seated very quickly. My friends opted for the make it yourself bowl but I chose from the menu & ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken. The food was fresh, tasty & very good. Price was reasonable & service was fast. Can't wait to go back.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Host: Great service. We were seated right away. Our waitress: Great service. She was on the ball when it came to refills. Very attentive and accomodating. Management: Came by our table to ask how our meal was going. Food: TERRIBLE! I ordered edamame, chicken pad thai, and mango creme brulee. Edamame was over cooked that it was wilted by the time it got to our table. Chicken pad thai noodles were undercooked, it felt like I was chewing on plastic noodles. Mango creme brulee was just a normal creme brulee w/ little mango pieces on the top. I thought mango was going to be infused w/ the custard in the creme brulee. Summary: Keep up the great service. Get rid of the cook!

My boyfriend's parents had recommended this place so we decided to try it out. Our waiter was inattentive - he welcomed us to the restaurant verbally and then promptly turned around and served the table next to us and then went off somewhere before coming back and actually serving us. We were not happy about that. Drinks took a while too. Boyfriend had the Wok Market, I had the Thai BBQ Tacos. The amount of meat they put on the Wok Market order (in our case, fresh salmon) was NOT worth the extra $3.75 they charge on top of just the vegetables. Such a puny portion! My Tacos were good, I ate three of the four before I conceded tummy defeat ... but the fried rice was too salty! Overall not too unpleasant an experience but I wonder if I will even consider coming back.

Been here once. The ability to create and watch your own meal being cooked was interesting but I just thought my meal was "okay". Had sake and it was disappointing. Maybe I'll be back but for now I'll stick with my beloved Big Bowl and Noodles N Co.

Met up with my parents here for dinner and had a great meal! First off, our waiter Scott was fantastic! We couldn't decide whether to order off the menu or make our own, so he took us up to the woks to show us how it's done, describing the sauces and making suggestions. We made our own bowls after sharing the appetizer platter(very delicious-esp the nutty noodles). If you don't like your bowl, it's your own fault. Not only do you choose between rice or noodles, there are 3 choices of rice and 3 choices of noodle(rice;white, brown or fried. noodles;shanghai, wide rice, or lo mien). For dessert, we split the chocolate monsoon, 3 scoops of chocolate mousse inside fried won ton bowls with raspberries and homemade whipped cream inside. Was pleasantly surprised to find a chain place so worth a trip Woodfield(gah). Loved it, will definitely go again! :D

I like Stir Crazy, yea it's a chain but hey I don't mind it lol! As someone else pointed out, it may not be authentic but hey it does hit the spot when you are craving some asian cuisine. The staff and management there by the way are extremely helpful and you will see them walking around asking everyone about their service and food. Very very smart of them to do so to make sure their restaurant is in check. ANYWAYS about the food here. Well its a stir fry bar so you can make your own bowl or order one from the menu. I had the mongolian beef, it was very delicious, sweet sweet sauce which I love and plenty of vegetables and soft white rice and there were those white noodles. No complaints here! It was a nice size portion too. My bro had the sesame chicken which I tasted and it was excellent as well. If you're craving a quick stir fry fix come to Stir Crazy it's quite pleasant.

This is a good place to take your kids to eat at Woodfield Mall if you are like me and don't want to go to the average obnoxious kid venues or eat hamburger and fries. They gave my son a cute takeout carton filled with crayons, chopstick holders, and a coloring book to keep him occupied. Service is impeccable. Very friendly, Our server was also very cool and gave my son a dish of pineapples without charging us when he asked for one. The food was pretty good, not PF Chang's good, but decent. a little bit pricey for what you get......my pad thai was $13. My brother ordered the Mongolian Beef for $14, and it was mostly fried noodles.

I went here a few weeks ago on a date. Friendly staff, quick service, good prices, good menu. Food Was Great! Loved it. I would go here many more times :) Give them a try. The quality of foodi s much better then other places like Flat Top who have the same kind of make-your-own idea.

Typically, I'm not the type to make any excuses for my meals in order to get something free out of it. If there is a hair, yes, I will let management know, but I wouldn't not pretend and place my own hair in order to get away from paying the bill. On August 9, we came in around 730pm for dinner. The BF went to J. Crew to look for something so the girl and I sat down and was going to order for everyone. BF constantly reminded me of the meal he wanted and I thought I had it memorized so I wouldn't mess up. Waitress comes around and we place our order...BF finally arrives. Then, food comes out and behold, I messed up on the BF's meal. Not to make a big fuss out of things, BF was upset but I just told him to eat it anyway. The food runner notices and says, "is this not want you want?" I then proceed to tell him that I had ordered the wrong thing while BF was not present. He then calls upper management and another gentleman comes. I explain to him that I had ordered the wrong thing by mistake and was willing to pay for the correct dish on top of the wrong dish. Upper management says "no problem, I'll get your new order put right through". HOW INCREDIBLE NICE! Seriously, I'm not the type to make up excuses when we go out to eat, if I ordered the wrong thing, I'm going to eat it.. .because it was MY fault, but this place didn't even blink an eye when I told them it was my fault and was more than happy to make us happy. We've come here several times before and I didn't think I should have written a review only because to me, it was another "Asian" restaurant. Kind of in the same ball game as P.F. Changs, Chef Ping, etc. With the gesture we had experienced last night, it perked me take the time out to mention on thoughtful this place is. I'm sure I wouldn't' has had the same experience if I were to go to PF Chang's. On to the meals: The BF had Sweet and Spicy Chicken (his fav) - I don't do spicy. The girl had the Ninja noodles - which is like a lo-mein for kids. It was very saucy which I'm not fond of, but the taste was good. She devoured her meal, which is no typical of kids to finish their restaurant meals. I had the Beef and Broccoli (yes, very normal) but to my surprise, it was actually good. I'm not the type to go to a "typical" restaurant and order their "typical" dishes. Last night was one of those nights where I didn't want to venture off. Most places will make your "typical" dish, but it wouldn't be right (if that makes sense). We also shared an "Asian Pear..." dessert. It was on their "right price, right portion" section and it was not good. It was basically an apple/pear pie shoved in this little tea cup with a teaspoon of vanilla ice cream. Weird comment, I LOVE the sink in the women's' bathroom. You'll have to go see for yourself. The girl made the comment on how it looks like a skating park (and it actually does!)

This is the first asian place I've been to that actually made me sick. On top of that, I didn't think the food even tasted that good to be worth all of the post-eating pain (I threw the leftovers away-trust me that's a big step for me). The food put me into this weird coma-like phase, no no not food coma, like I literally couldn't think clearly or function, and I felt like I had drugs running through my veins. I'm pretty sure it was a case of MSG in overdrive. On a plus side, the waiter was super nice and attentive, unfortunately, he was slightly awkward. If you want Asian at Woodfield mall, P.F. Chang it, and avoid Stir Crazy, before it does crazy things to your body....

busy Saturday night, waiting time was about 10 minutes, party of two, so we got a drink at the bar by the waiting area, no buzzer so we had to wait for the hostess to call our name... apparently there was more than one who would come and go but was not loud enough so they skipped over us and crossed our name out. we waited about 20 minutes before we went up to check. so our name was crossed out and the hostess didnt even remember calling us. slow service when we were finally seated. the food was alright, will not return. i only went there because i had a free coupon. service was horrible. food could have been better.

I remember coming here a while ago, but not going since. And now I can remember why. I went here last weekend for a friend's birthday, because she really likes this place. The service was good, nothing really to complain about there, the only reason why they're getting 3 stars is for the food. I have to say it was a little pricey, but I really wouldn't of minded the price if the food was good. I had the korean bbq tacos. I'm not going to lie, they were pretty tasty...but it was just strips of beef doused in korean bbq sauce. And the fried rice on the side....not a fan off. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but paying $13-$14 for 3 tacos and a side of fried rice, I thought it would at least be really decent. Was I wrong. Would I go here again? probably not. Sorry Stir Crazy.

I wound up here for lunch one day while waiting for a few hours in between a wedding and a reception. I will admit I was apprehensive about trying an Americanized chain/franchise for Chinese food, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was actually pretty good. I had some kung pao beef and tried some orange chicken. The fried rice and egg rolls were good too. The only thing that was lacking was service as we had to get a pitcher of water ourselves at the waitstaff was not all that attentive.

Almost every time I go to Woodfield, my boyfriend and I stop at Stir Crazy. Their calamari is so freaking good!! And I love the sauce that comes with it. My boyfriend loves the 3 Japanase steaks and i always steal a few bites. And you can't leave without having the banana wotons with ice cream. The service is good. Our waiters are always friendly and attentive. Only once did we have a waiter that was a bit of an air head. I think it was his first day or something, he had a trainee tag. So, it's understandable. It can get a bit pricey when you order drinks and dessert

How in the hell did I wind up at Woodfield Mall the Saturday after Thanksgiving? That was my first mistake... After hunting Ikea for the perfect entertainment center for the boyfriend and one for our friends too, I was hungry and crabby. I found myself in a jungle of concrete and needed something in a hurry. Stir Crazy sounded like the first great idea either one of us had all day. We walked in and were seated right away. Our server was nice and meant well but he was the most absent minded server I have had in awhile. We started out with the crispy sesame calamari. It was actually really tasty although the sauces ranged from lame to very lame. I had asked for chili hot sauce when we ordered the app and it never came. I wasn't really understanding the concept of the restaurant, and since we were seated in the far corner, I couldn't see the "Market Bar." When I asked the server what the deal was and how I could get a "Market Card" to make my own stir fry, I was immediately told that it was a misprint and that they didn't do that anymore. He also explained that if I chose to make my own that I would be getting more veggies, but if I ordered off the menu I would get more meat. That was the only explanation I got about that. Frustrated and hungry, I ended up just ordering their Kung Pao Chicken. My friend got the same but with Tofu. The boyfriend ordered Cashew Chicken. When the food came it looked pretty good. It was a major case of looks good, tastes meh... My friends tofu dish came out with chicken, not tofu. Since he is not a vegetarian he didn't bother sending it back. It took 20 minutes to get a beer. All of the veggies were mushy and tasted exactly like the noodles. There was no real flavor to the entree until I added some soy. The cashew chicken "needed salt." I don't really think cashew chicken should ever need salt. All in all, two thumbs down.

This was my first visit here. The service and food were great. My Kung Pao Chicken was a ready a few minutes later than my friends and the manager came out to apologize and comped my meal. Very polite servers too.

We stopped here today after our suburban excursion out to the mall and IKEA. We wandered around IKEA forever to pick up a bookshelf for our new place. We were crabby and hungry so I suggested Stir Crazy. I haven't been here in a long time and I wanted to make my own creation of a stir fry. We started with pot stickers, they were good but tiny. My guy had kung pao chicken & brown rice and I had create your own with chicken and brown rice. I added a whole bunch of veggies along with some pineapple. Yum! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We may stop back if we're at the mall for another shopping excursion.

I went to this restaurant with the hubby a few weeks ago. This restaurant is located in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. Which is nice, because we were able to take a walk around the mall after dinner. As we walked in, we received a friendly greeting and were seated right away. Our waiter was prompt and asked us if we've been there before then took our drink orders. As we skimmed through the menus, our drinks came immediately. I got a Thai tea, and the hubby got a Mai Thai. Our drinks were Yum. We ordered an appetizer to start. It was called "five spice ribs". It had about 5 to 6 ribs priced at $7. The ribs were Yum, a thumbs up for my taste. (Meat wasn't falling off the bone, nor was it too dry.) It had a plum hoisin glaze sauce drizzled over with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. After our appetizer, we both decided on the "create your own wok toss" dinner meal. This was priced at about $10.95 and an additional $2.50 for chicken. (Depending on what type of meat you choose, prices ranges to as much as $3.50 additional.) I also noticed if you came in for lunch the price was at $8.95. Which I say is a better deal. We were given a large bowl for the veggies and a smaller bowl for sauce. The veggie bar looked good. Everything was clean, fresh, and organized. We were able to choose the type of veggies we liked. I noticed there was only 1 cook at the woks, but he was good. He handled about 5 woks at the same time without over cooking or burning any ones food. There were more than 5 people in line, however everyone received their food back in a timely manner and in correct order too. Yay!! We went back to our table and enjoyed our food. Our waiter came back every so often and checked up on us, filled our water glasses, which was great!! I appreciate a good waiter/server. In my opinion, no matter how good/bad the food or high/low the price is, if the service is great and my visit went smoothly, then its all worth the experience and good tips is called for. So one last thing I have to mention is this is not our first time here. I once ordered a Pho noodle soup here. (Gotta get my PHO noodle fix somewhere.) If you are looking for traditional, then this is not the place to get this soup. It's still Yum, however It doesn't taste anything like what you could get in Viet Town. I don't recall any side bean sprouts or basil leafs...slice of lime... no jalapeno slices, or additional sauce. I had to ask a waiter for Sriracha sauce (red chili paste sauce) which she had to go ask the manager for help cus she didnt know what I was talking about. Which totally messed it all up for me, cus I needed a PHO fix. Over all would I go again? Yes, for stir fry... but not for PHO. The atmosphere is good... with all the woks I'm surprised its not smokey or anything like that. (good ventilation) There's a good size bar, with flat screen tv... plenty of seats/tables... and good service.

I heard good things about this restaurant and we decided this place to celebrate my mom's birthday (September). The trouble began after we ordered our dishes. While my sister and I got our dishes, our mother did not get one. At first, we thought the place was getting busy and it would be coming out soon. Wrong - turns out one of the food runners gave my mom's dish to another table. The manager came over and apologized to us and got us a replacement dish. However, the replacement dish was looked very rushed. The pad thai dish was in a puddle of sauce and it was very salty. We just ended up getting a different dish, which was ok. I felt bad for the server because it wasn't her fault. It was something that was beyond her control. Nevertheless, this situation left me a bad impression and I'm sure this was an isolated situation, not an overall indication of this restaurant.

I don't ususally review chains, but I'm going to go out on a limb for this one, because I'm crazy about the food. I've been going to Stir Crazy for a long, long time, at least since the one at the Woodfield Mall opened, and I feel like I've tried tons of dishes here. I have my favorites--I like the cashew chicken, szechwan chicken, and the double pan fried noodles (the last might be my absolute favorite). I think the appetizer list is fantastic--from the tasty crab rangoons, to the tempura green beans. They're not listed as an appetizer, but I love love love to order them as one. We've also tried the potstickers, the lettuce wraps, the chicken satay and edamame, and all of it is good. I'm not kidding. I've only ever had one bad dish at Stir Crazy, and that was the Pad Thai, which was overly fishy for my tastes. But they were so incredibly nice about replacing the dish and getting me something else that a bad experience turned into a good one. Actually, I think that if I had to choose one suburban restaurant to move into the city, it would be this one. I do miss going there. Last night was a treat.

This place is the best Americanized Oriental place I've ever been to. I love their coconut shrimp but I was very upset when I found out what their Vietnamese Springs Rolls were. They were fried! viet spring rolls are healthy for you. They're not even cooked.

My second chain review of the day....I've clearly been taking field trips to the burbs lately! I love Asian food above all else, and I do like the concept of this place. My meal was pretty good too. I liked how many different choices they gave to add to the stiry fry although it would've been nice to be able to combine different meats/chicken/seafood if you wanted to instead of choosing just one. I liked the mango LITs a little too much. They added mint to it for me as I tried to duplicate my favorite Jacksonville drink from Bistro Aix. Not bad! Still it's a chain and it's in a mall so 3 stars is the best I can offer.

I have been to this Stir Crazy many times. The service is never great, but the food is pretty good so we go there if we're shopping at the mall. There have been a few times where the waiters have forgotten to bring out our soup or taken really long refilling our drinks so we know better than to expect great service. This last visit, however, was terrible. Our waiter would NOT STOP TALKING. He would just stand there and go on and on about miscellaneous things and it was starting to make us uncomfortable. Our drinks took a long time to come from the bar and I had to ask for more water. Also, my sister ordered a Mojito and got a Daiquiri instead. The appetizers arrived and were good. However, our chatty server spent so much time talking that he forgot to bring out the dishes for the make-your-own stir fry that two of the people in our party had ordered. My BF and I had to sit and wait to eat our food while the cooks prepared their entrees. This is not the first time entrees have been forgotten. Last time I was there with my BF, the waiter forgot to bring out our soups and they came with the entrees, and last time I was there with my sister, the waitress never came over and we ended up placing our order with the manager instead. The best part of the evening came after dinner when I went over to the coat rack to get my coat and scarf and discovered that somebody had STOLEN my cashmere scarf! I informed the staff and they looked around but of course it was nowhere to be found. I don't think I will be going back.

(4)Heather Z.

(5)Ren H.
(5)Kiyana B.
(5)Stella S.

I bought the deal from groupon... It was very good experience...food was good and service was nice..
(4)Mary S.
Great guy
(5)Mech H.
(2)Mark D.
(4)Abe S.
Apps were very good the cold noodles are tasty crab Ragons best I've ever had. The main dish was over cooked I got the magician beef my wife got the mago chicken it was over cooked as well but over all not bad I'd come back
(4)George J.
(2)Haley S.
Waiter was friendly but the cooks behind the counter werent. Good healthy option if you are looking for simple chicken and veggies. Nice atmosphere but slow service and not so great service. Our waiter was the only friendly staff member for the most part
(3)Eric E.
Been here several times including tonight as we like their veggy fried rice. Prices are pretty good and on Tuesday's & Thursday's kids eat free. Not a lot of extra frills here, just decent, dependable food.
(3)Marie D.
(1)David L.
I ate the mango habanero chicken because I was starving. That being said it was cold and too sweet. Definitely needed some more spice to balance out the palate. Not worth your $15, not for this dish anyways. Green dragon tea came in a dirty kettle yet tasted good.
(3)Maria P.
Went there yesterday with my mother, my sister, my nephew, and my sister in law! Good was delicious and the service was great! We had Jonathan as our waiter! Very satisfied with everything!
(5)Summer L.
(4)Allison W.
Service is really slow! Because we asked about dietary needs it took forever to get service. The food didn't take long to cook, because we went to the custom bar. Food was decent. It's a good place to bring friends, but not a date, much too loud and too kid friendly. Three stars for service and food quality.
(3)Steven N.
(4)Valerie W.
(3)Bob R.
(3)Rich G.
Had a family lunch there on a Sunday. Our waitress was very nice and always made sure we had what we needed. I had the Thai BBQ Tacos which were so good. Everyone there enjoyed their meals. A little pricey but very good.
(4)Adam Z.
It was so so. Maybe it was my fault, but my build your own bowl was bland. However, judging by the other comments, it seems to be a weakness of this restaurant. My theory is that they douse it with so much oil during the cooking that it dilutes the sauce. They need to add more sauce to counter this. My fiancé really drilled the waiter, whom was caught chatting up front while our dinner was waiting to be served. Hers wasn't nearly as warm as mine. He gave us our dessert free (banana wontons are delicious) and handled the situation pretty well for someone having to handle my cranky woman. LOL Overall, I wasn't really a fan. If it wasn't for the free dessert and a $5 off coupon on top of that, I would have felt ripped off.
(2)Pearl T.
(3)Tom J.
Watched the cook drop the plastic bag into my food while cooking in the walk. Then when we ordered egg roles and lettuce wraps it tasted like Plastic terrible!!! Service was ok but I still walked out with a 40 dollar tab for 10 dollar food
(1)Teema C.
Mediocre food. I ordered the mongolian beef which had good flavor, and the rest of the family did the stir fry bar. We probably would not go back.
(2)Celine B.

(2)Mark T.
(2)Herb V.
(4)Laurie W.

(4)Raj V.
Healthy tasty simple to chose lotsa vegetables food place. Fiber overload Market bar and Vietnamese pho bowl are my favs
(4)Jon M.
Service was great and the wasabi salmon was delicious! Ahi tuna poke was different but good. Banana wontons are a must if you visit! Would come back again if I am back in town!
(5)Michelle P.
Been here many times: market bar is great and so is anything else on the item. However, service has declined. If you get the server with the red hair and arm tattoo, ask for another. She did not come back to our table after giving us water for 20 minutes.
(3)Kim L.
This place was lovely! I did not expect the food to be this good! If you come you have to try the Thai BBQ tacos (preferred chicken) and their potsticker. You can also make your own dish with their salad bar. The waitress was very nice, she made sure we were good and satisfied! :)
(4)Rachel S.
Mongolian beef was a pretty small portion. Service was pretty bad. Waited a good amount of time for the server to come to us after being seated. It was not busy either. Then the server of course didn't bother getting us refills on our drinks. The food wasn't great either.
(2)Nick M.
I am a big fan of this place. Their sauces are incredible (lots to choose from) they have all sorts of veggies, and their fried rice is really good. However, stay away from the fried spring rolls, they aren't that great.
(4)Lois C.
(4)Bon B.
Ordered Mongolian beef and was disappointed with the small serving. Taste is ok nothing special that excite me to come back.
(2)Timothy H.

Goin back.
(5)Bill S.
Have been coming here for years maybe two or three times a year anyway last night the service was the same as always Very good , the food very good , appetizers very good , our server Lizabeth was great, this place is always good for a fast and good food diner or lunch
(4)Noomi J.

(4)Krys A.
They got rid on unlimited bowls. Foods mediocre. It seems like it's hard for them to keep it clean. I probably won't go back.

(3)Rob W.
(3)Andy D.
I love making my own stir-fries at Stir-Crazy, the price is great and so is the waiters. I wish they put some in the south suburbs

(1)Danielle S.
(4)Jimma J.

(1)Nikki E.
Im not very adventurous when it comes to food, so I always stick with the sweet and spicy chicken. Ugh, its to die for. Service is always great, and if it couldn't get any better, they put cherries in my pepsi and to me folks, that is love.
(4)Roshni P.
(5)Lucy E.

After i finished a whole plate of mongolian beef i am still hungry... won't come back.

I will be back
(4)Richard L.
Good atmosphere but meal for two cost $50 an you barely get anything. Guess next time I will have to make my own stir fry.
(3)Andrew J.

(4)Toni B.
(3)Carla L.

(3)Gustavo A. L.
(4)Sonia B.
(3)Jenni S.
(2)Lauren L.

(4)Brit W.
(4)Somchai S.
(2)Frank O.
(1)Gaurav B.
This is very good for a stir fry. The bowl size is preyty good . The chef also recommends sauces and ideas. I have been here 4-5 times and have nevr been disappointed. !!
(4)Frank A.
(3)Anne G.
(5)Nicole M.
(3)mary l.

(1)Jenny C.
(2)Josh M.
Food was okay (flat top is better) the cooks messed up the order twice, our waiter (Gaston I think) was the only bright spot.
(2)Nick S.
It's worth checking out if you like Asian food and you're at the Woodfield mall. It's hard for them to compete with Big Bowl. It's really hard to mess up stir fry.
(3)Robert W.
Spectacularly underwhelming stir fry. Small pre packaged beef. Salty and unappealing. Much better out there. On the plus side....our waitress was good.
(2)Shakeel K.

(4)Raul B.
Good but over price. its decent, I still prefer small mom and pop joints.
(4)Sarah D.

(3)Jacob K.

Been to the one in OakBrook and Schaumburg, and never disappointed.. good drinks service and great food ( cheap too!) Definatley would recomend Stir Crazy

(5)Allyson C.
