I wish that there was a way to give this place more stars. I went here Saturday night and the place was pretty busy. It is very casual and not at all formal, so there is no need to dress to impress as most people were in jeans. There are tv's, a bar, and a fireplace in this clubhouse type restaurant. My gf and I both got the Butt Steak (actually is part of the shoulder, not the ass) and that came with soup or salad and two sides. We each got the minestrone which was Gluten Free or not depending on if you wanted noodles (awesome), my gf also got the salad for 1.99 extra (just typical salad, but good value), then we each got steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes with our steaks. OH MY GOD. The steak was divine and so were the sides...there was actually a good taste to the broccoli which is shocking because sometimes it is bland. The cost of the meal? $35. Yes, $35 + tip. I will be back here as often as possible! I loved this place and so did my gf.

went here Friday night with my fiancee 2 10 year old boys and my brother. It was quite busy. Our service was a bit slow....but it WAS busy....and the food came quickly. Overall....our meal was very good. I had the little mini tenderloin sandwiches...and they were just great. Cooked perfectly. My fiancee had the ribs which he said were very good....and as a rib snob that's saying a lot! My sons chicken fingers were delicious.as .well. my brother wasn't thrilled with the all you can eat Friday night fish fry...it was just so-so.....plus our waitress never came back to offer more. Forth most part...everything was tasty and well prepared. Our only complaint.....and its not really even a complaint because we should have known? At 37 my fiancee was the youngest guy in the room. It was senior citizen central!! So as a "fun" place for kids or to hang out with friends or to take a romantic date? Not the place. Just to get some good food in you? Sure thing!!

No better fish fry than Fri nite at Chandler's. All the lake perch you can eat for $9.99. Steaks are great here too. Very good quality meat for a very reasonable price. $4 buck burgers on Wednesday are excellent. I also like the broasted chicken dinners on Sun nite. Heard the ribs are very tasty. Drink prices are reasonable, especially the specials. Ask for Holly. She's the most attentive waitress. One of my favorite places to eat.

Food is good, not great, but very good. But heavens, they do not know how to train their wait staff. Last summer, after a round of golf, we sat down and I asked the waitress what brands of scotch are available; specifically, do they have McClelland 12? She had no clue. After a wait, she came back and said they did so I ordered one, neat. After another even longer wait, she came back and told me the bartender wanted me to know the drink would cost $12. Un-friggen-believable. After another even longer wait, I actually got my drink. Fast forward to this past Wednesday night. I told a different waitress I wanted a McClelland 12 and please let the bartender know that I know how much it cost. She came back and told me they are out of McClelland 12. Oh well. Almost an hour later the restaurant was emptying and we still had no food. When asked, the waitress said the kitchen was "slammed." I got up and asked to speak to the manager. The waitress had lied. She had forgotten to turn in our order. Like I said, the food is good.

Chandler's is more like a bar than a restaurant. It's located at the clubhouse of the Schaumburg Golf Course on Roselle Rd. We first ordered drinks, but they really didn't have much of anything on tap. Even the waitress said there was nothing good and she recommended the bottled beers. I had a Beck's Dark which was good and my gf had the house wine (only $2.75/glass) and it was decent. We ordered the sliders as our appetizers and they were tasty so we were looking forward to dinner. I ordered the London Broil, which was really an 8 oz filet sliced up w/ a mushroom sauce on top. I ordered it medium, but it was much closer to well done. It was really nothing special. For a "Chop House" I expected much better. My gf ordered the mixed grill which included 1 dry piece of "rosemary" chicken (came with a sprig of rosemary, but no flavor of rosemary on the chicken), a 4oz filet which looked and tasted like something you would get from Ponderosa or Old Country Buffet, and some decent sized butterflied shrimp, which was cooked well and fairly good. We both ordered the mashed sweet potatoes as our side since it is one of our favorite things to eat when we go out. This was the first time I didn't even want to finish eating my sweet potato. It had your usual spices likes cinnamon, sugar, along with some marshmallows, but there was something else that just really didn't go well with it. Despite the food, the waitress was very friendly and seemed to be pretty attentive. I would only go back for appetizers and maybe a burger.

Janusz and I really enjoy this restaurant. It is pretty straight forward American grilled food- steaks and chops- BUT do try the salmon- I prefer it without the sauce- the food here is always well prepared. We have always had good service. And the location is very attractive- right in the middle of the Schaumburg golf course. They have banquet facilities too. And guess what? The prices are more of what you would expect at a chain restaurant instead of a fine dining experience! No fancy tablecloth- but definitely a winner.
