Its an IHOP. I dont know why some people expect luxury, however, this is the best IHOP Ive been to. People here actually seem to care about the quality and service. If your server is Mario, youre in luck. He is kind, attentive and friendly. Sometimes, he is running around taking care of other guests, but doesnt forget about you and makes sure you are satisfied with the food. Whenever my boyfriend and I drop by and Mario is our waiter, we have a great experience. The food has never dissapointed and the other staff is great as well. I will definately be back here again, whether its in the afternoon or 2am. Im a huge sucker for their delicious fluffy pancakes!

Not a whole lot to say about this chain restaurant. I had an early arrival into O'Hare airport and needed to kill some time before arriving to the office, and found this place not far from the car rental place. The place was clean and service was friendly. You will find your typical breakfast items here and food came out quick and hot. The food isn't going to knock your socks off or anything, but if you are looking for a cheap decent breakfast, this is not a bad place to go to.

My boyfriend and I had the most AMAZING waitress! She's exactly what a workplace would want to keep around. Carolyn was her name we tend to eat out alot so we've gone through our fair share of waitresses and by far she is amazing! She was very attentive but not pushy and even brought out water without us having to ask. My boyfriend is the average tipper but he was so satisfied with the service he over a 50% tip. Food was excellent! We live in Edgewater and happened to be going somewhere on the way so decided to try this particular ihop and upon us receiving such great food and service we are more than willing to take the extra drive everytime we're feeling ihop!
This is one of the cleanest IHOP i've ever been to. The food is excellent. the tilapia is soft , juicy and just melts into your mouth... the spinach and mushroom omelette is to die for. The service is excellent and the manager, Ken is very hands on, hopping from table to table making sure customers are comfortable and satisfied... I give this place 5 stars for great food , excellent customer service and homey, comfy ambience ......

I can't believe people rated it higher than a one. I would rate this place -10 the food is horrible. I recently went there about a week ago with my boyfriend we had a few things on the menu. one was the veggie omelette with bacon which tasted horrible. I only had a bite and couldn't force myself to eat anymore of it. I felt bad cause I was thought never to waste food. It tasted like it was reheated it was disgusting. Then I had the sirloin tip breakfast meal which was also disgusting. I also ordered a cup of fruit and it didn't make it's way to my table. We thought McDonald would've been a better choice. MCDONALDS!! That's sad. The staff was horrible mostly everyone was on their phone or being unprofessional. It took about 15 min for the waiter to even notice we were there. I would never step foot in this place ever again. They need to retrain their employees to be professional and not act like their in high school In their lunchroom shouting to each other across the room like animals.

If I could give a negative I would.. I have been here a few times and today I was there and the service was horrible probably the worst I have ever gotten at IHOP. It started out with a coupon I had on my phone they wouldn't honor it ok I understand but then I got my food and there was hair in it! When I gave the waiter back my food she didn't even say sorry she grabbed it and left when the manager came to ask what happened she rolled her eyes at me when I told her there was hair in my food, and she just kept saying the cooks wear hair nets... If they wear hair nets then why is there hair in my food? After that I was disgusted and I will never go back here and I did call corporate about the way I was treated here today. The only girl that was nice was the one that rung me up she was very apologetic and I appreciated that.

This place is a mixed bag. Sometimes the service is excellent, and everyone from the person at the host stand to the random server who waves goodbye as we leave (plus everyone in between) is witty, charming, friendly, and speedy. Other times, the order comes out in stages rather than all at once, iced tea/hot tea confusion occurs, I accidentally am led to a booth where I sit in a puddle of syrup, and they are out of half the menu. I mean, since when is it acceptable for an IHOP to run out of hash browns?!? Don't get between me and my fried potato, people. Recent changes to the menu mean that there are now more healthy options, some items list caloric content, and you have a wider selection of fresh fruits. I like this change but wish they'd put potato pancakes back on the menu (again, me with the fried potato). The nearby convention centers and concert venues provide interesting people-watching, but they also lure in people with screaming children who don't wanna eat! Wanna see the Wiggles! WAAAAAAH! Beware of screaming children. They will give you a headache. Overall, after coming here many many times, I have no plans to stop coming. My experiences here may be mixed, but there's enough good balancing out the bad to keep me coming back for my beloved potatoes.

I think I can honestly say, that I had never been to IHOP before. WOW did I not know what I was missing! The food is very good. EVERYTHING comes with pancakes! I had a country fried steak, has brown and two eggs. Came with two pancakes. Got a side of bacon. Probably one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I WILL be back.

Two of us came for breakfast after glancing at the Radisson buffet and concluding that we needed to try our luck elsewhere. I had arrived at ORD after midnight and hadn't slept all that much; I was hoping that some hot coffee, "premium" orange juice and good food would set me up for the day. The coffee was not bad, so I drank a lot of it. The orange juice was non-premium but also non-toxic. The spinach and cheese omelet that I ordered came out looking like it was covered in an artificial glaze. I ate half of it and couldn't go further; this was the first time in memory that I didn't clean my plate. I probably should have ordered the "simple egg breakfast" or a stack of pancakes. I'll make a different choice next time -- if there is a next time. We were happy with our service, by the way. Our server was cheerful, energetic and helpful. The other personnel were peppy and friendly.

Went here last night around midnight and were treated like kings. We were constantly checked on, never had to wait for a refill and honestly the food was pretty good. I was expecting an average meal from IHOP and got exceptional service and food. Which is definitely more than you can say for the awful Steak n Shake next door.

I chose to have my birthday breakfast at IHOP this year and I am very happy with the decision I made. I came in a week prior with a coupon and to check the place out in terms of crowds and service and was so impressed. Though it was crowded we were seated immediately. Our waitress was one of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure of interacting with and the food, though it was IHOP, exceeded the IHOP standards and expectations. So a week went by and I was once again at the same IHOP for my birthday. We had a different waitress but nonetheless, so sweet was she that I just wanted to hug her. She checked on us every chance she had and even surprised me with a birthday song from her and the staff. Plus I got a free sundae! Thanks IHOP for making my birthday morning so special! Next time the craving for a stuffed french toast hits, I'll know where to go! In sum, the food is excellent and a far cry from what you may be used to at other IHOPs. Very good customer service as well.

Better service and better food than many other Ihops in the area. Howeeever..... still a disappointment. I ordered crepes. They were served to me WAY overcooked. crepes are delicate. nearly fluffy. soft. On my plate they were paper-like, flat, and of no match for the sad knives you get. I couldn't cut through them at all. Still edible though. how can i say no to nutella and bananas?? Our waiter took forever to check back with us because he was too busy trying to hit on some high school girls in another booth who were from minnesota- and came in for a concert - and didn't know how to get back home. Our waiter (ooh. AND manager of the IHOP) had the nerve to ask us for directions to help the girls out. I bothered looking it up on my iphone. Had the directions ready. Our waiter didn't come back after 15 minutes to see if i had the directions ready. He was too busy lollygagging over high school girls. Looked real disappointed that he couldn't "save the day" using MY iphone. But when he DID ask how our food was, i told him about the crepes. He apologized, saying the cook was new. When we left, the young manager asked how our service was. We mentioned the crepe dilemma and was like "what? your waiter said our chef is new? actually.... that cook has been here for some years now." and then went on to talk to me about the high school girls they were trying to help get home. Uh...... I don't care about you trying to get girls numbers MR Ihop manager!!!!! Hmm..... won't come back.

We stopped here for breakfast the other morning instead of going to the one closer to our house which is just okay. I had a coupon for buy one entree, get one free with purchase of 2 drinks. We both ordered the platter with 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 sausage. I had enough to take home. The whole restaurant was very clean (no sticky syrup pitchers here), the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We'll be back even without a coupon.

We stopped here for breakfast with the kids before heading out to Chicago. After being seated it took a while for the wait staff to get back to us to take our food order. Then it was a good 30+ minutes before we even got our food. Last time I checked pancakes don' t take too long to prepare. The restaurant was understaffed, and not hurrying, except for the poor guy cleaning tables. I think we'll avoid this one next time we're in town.

Let me just say, I'm not really an Ihop fan because they all seem dirty to me. So many travelers from all over the world eating off of the same plates and forks and drinking out of the same glasses is just gross to me but I must say this is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. The food was nice and hot, and for once I didn't think about the dirty plates. If you are in Illinois and must go to an Ihop, this is the one to choose.

This is the best IHOP in Illinois. Great customer service, always clean, great portions, not too crowded. I have always had a pleasant time here and make it a trip to come to this location. It is really close to allstate but I am not sure how crowded it does get during shows.

Sunday morning taking nephew to O'Hare. seated right away , busy but service quick and the food came hot and quick. very good. On the survey i wanted to Compliment the people there. Friendly . Everyone working there has been so nice and that really means a lot. Need a pick me up after a long concert or a Wolves game at the Allstate? Go to IHOP!

I felt this warranted an update... I went to one of the IHOPs closer to my home about two weeks before visiting this one. I intentionally ordered the same omelet because I wanted to see if I would get the same thing. NOPE! At the first IHOP, I ordered a ham & american cheese omelet with hash browns tucked inside. I received a small, somewhat overcooked, non-fluffy omelet with two slices of American cheese on top that weren't melted when it came to me. Two weeks later, I order the same omelet at this IHOP... SUPER! This thing was ginormous!! It was also fluffy (IHOP claims to add some of their pancake batter in their omelets to make them fluffy... I guess someone forgot to tell the other IHOP) and delicious! Our server was great as well! I will continue to drive away from the IHOPs near me and frequent this one.

I have been going to this IHOP and only IHOP for the past couple of years now. The past few times I've been there recently, I have been very astounded and satisfied with the service. A friend and I went to this IHOP yesterday. The waitress we got was the same one we got last time and she was fantastic! :) We ordered our drinks then she gave us time to look over the menu to decide what to get. I ended up getting the all you can eat popcorn shrimp with cocktail sauce and 2 lemon wedges to squeeze over the shrimp. This dish also came with a piece of butter garlic bread, which is always soft juicy and delicious. My friend got the breakfast sampler. The waitress gave us refills twice, and she came back with another order of popcorn shrimp. The first serving of the shrimp is big but if you ask more and the serve it to you in a smaller plate. The last time she came by, she gave us our bill, and said she was gonna come back to see if I wanted any more shrimp, which I did, but she never came back unfortunately. I also was going to order dessert for both me and my friend but she gave us the bill assuming we weren't going to order anything else. I wanted dessert but she gave us the bill already. :( Overall, this place has great customer service, large selections from healthy options to senior citizens discount menu and childrens menu as well. There is a steak n' shake behind IHOP which I'm sure both restaurants compete but IHOP is the better candidate of both. IHOPS customer service is again, better than steak n shake, more food and variety. I will always be a fan of this IHOP. The customer service has indeed vastly gotten superb over the years. When I first started to go there, it was just average, sometimes poor. But I guess a new era of customer service has waved over IHOP, much much better now. :D

Reviewing an IHOP is sort of like reviewing a paper clip. If you've been to one, you've got a grasp of all of them, and it's hard to really take a paper clip in a bold new direction. I used to eat at this IHOP maybe twice a week. The service ranged from attentive to lackadaisical, but that's fine -- it's IHOP! The food was pretty consistent and until the last time I ate there I'd have given them a few more stars, BUT... ...the very last time I was there, I was a bit more than halfway through the combo (eggs, hash browns and 2 Fruit 'n Nut pancakes) and I see, while cutting up some pancake, ewww, a long strand of hair baked in. Gross. I give up on the pancakes, but still open to finishing the eggs, until, ewwww, I find a long strand of hair running through the scrambled eggs. I'm unquestionably done at this point. The waiter, to his credit, handled it well and got the manager, who asked if I'd like for the cook to re-make the dish. Um, no. He gave me a 20% discount on the check, so I guess IHOP's rule of thumb is 10% off for each hair found. (I don't know what the hair discount is for other major pancake chains.) I was a little too grossed out, and honestly, a little put out by the arbitrary discount. I want to like this IHOP, and if it was only one hair, I could fool myself into coming back, but no...won't be back anytime soon.

2.75 stars is more accurate.... I went to a convention at the nearby Wyndham O'hare and thus ended up here at 12noon after getting a measly 2 hours of sleep the night before. I was lured in by the cheesecake pancakes....anyway my party got two orders of cheesecake pancakes and a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was tasty, but really greasy and the fries were not crisp-they left something to really be desired. The pancakes were OK...we had our food quickly, but it took nearly 3 minutes to get silverware after we already got our food, and even longer to get condiments (ketchup, etc). At least it was clean, but crowded! The wait staff seemed to be chaotic at best-and our bill was nearly $30 and we were still hungry when we left. I dunno if I'll be back to this location (or maybe just not go back to IHOP...)

I have never been so disappointed with IHOP like I have when we visited on July 3rd of this year. It was probably around 11 at night when we went and the place was packed. The "host" had a little sign by him that said "half hour wait for smoking". I told him that we had 5 people and he said , but it has to be not smoking in a rude tone.. I was fine with that.. I don't care.. .so we sat down and started looking through the menu. Our waitress arrived about 5 minutes later to take our drink orders and then took another 5-10 min. to come back with them.. she never asked if we were ready to order the 2 times she came by. Then after another 10 minutes of waiting, she finally came back to take our food order. Waited for about 15min. for the food to come out. I got a Denver omelette and it was disgusting.. big chucks of meat.... a friend ordered a sandwich, she didn't ask if he wanted fries or onion rings and when she brought out the fries, he asked for onion rings and she brought him 5 onion rings.. No one in our group enjoyed their food. Some people that were seated near us, gave up after 5 minutes of sitting and no server to be seen and left. So they sat a big group of people by us with a screaming baby and it was about 12 at night by then. I would never visit this location again... Horrible service... I understand they were busy, but honestly they had enough servers and not that many tables in our section.

Average IHOP, average service. Nothing either extraordinary, surprising, or disappointing about this IHOP. But there is plenty of parking and the location is pretty convenient. Keep in mind you are in Rosemont so 40% of the proceeds go directly to the Mob/Stephen's family.

Went here last night around midnight and were treated like kings. We were constantly checked on, never had to wait for a refill and honestly the food was pretty good. I was expecting an average meal from IHOP and got exceptional service and food. Which is definitely more than you can say for the awful Steak n Shake next door.

I chose to have my birthday breakfast at IHOP this year and I am very happy with the decision I made. I came in a week prior with a coupon and to check the place out in terms of crowds and service and was so impressed. Though it was crowded we were seated immediately. Our waitress was one of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure of interacting with and the food, though it was IHOP, exceeded the IHOP standards and expectations. So a week went by and I was once again at the same IHOP for my birthday. We had a different waitress but nonetheless, so sweet was she that I just wanted to hug her. She checked on us every chance she had and even surprised me with a birthday song from her and the staff. Plus I got a free sundae! Thanks IHOP for making my birthday morning so special! Next time the craving for a stuffed french toast hits, I'll know where to go! In sum, the food is excellent and a far cry from what you may be used to at other IHOPs. Very good customer service as well.

Better service and better food than many other Ihops in the area. Howeeever..... still a disappointment. I ordered crepes. They were served to me WAY overcooked. crepes are delicate. nearly fluffy. soft. On my plate they were paper-like, flat, and of no match for the sad knives you get. I couldn't cut through them at all. Still edible though. how can i say no to nutella and bananas?? Our waiter took forever to check back with us because he was too busy trying to hit on some high school girls in another booth who were from minnesota- and came in for a concert - and didn't know how to get back home. Our waiter (ooh. AND manager of the IHOP) had the nerve to ask us for directions to help the girls out. I bothered looking it up on my iphone. Had the directions ready. Our waiter didn't come back after 15 minutes to see if i had the directions ready. He was too busy lollygagging over high school girls. Looked real disappointed that he couldn't "save the day" using MY iphone. But when he DID ask how our food was, i told him about the crepes. He apologized, saying the cook was new. When we left, the young manager asked how our service was. We mentioned the crepe dilemma and was like "what? your waiter said our chef is new? actually.... that cook has been here for some years now." and then went on to talk to me about the high school girls they were trying to help get home. Uh...... I don't care about you trying to get girls numbers MR Ihop manager!!!!! Hmm..... won't come back.

Eh...it's just another IHOP. A little overpriced but I would suppose you get enough to eat. No need to be little piggy about breakfast.

We stopped here for breakfast the other morning instead of going to the one closer to our house which is just okay. I had a coupon for buy one entree, get one free with purchase of 2 drinks. We both ordered the platter with 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 sausage. I had enough to take home. The whole restaurant was very clean (no sticky syrup pitchers here), the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We'll be back even without a coupon.

We stopped here for breakfast with the kids before heading out to Chicago. After being seated it took a while for the wait staff to get back to us to take our food order. Then it was a good 30+ minutes before we even got our food. Last time I checked pancakes don' t take too long to prepare. The restaurant was understaffed, and not hurrying, except for the poor guy cleaning tables. I think we'll avoid this one next time we're in town.

Let me just say, I'm not really an Ihop fan because they all seem dirty to me. So many travelers from all over the world eating off of the same plates and forks and drinking out of the same glasses is just gross to me but I must say this is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. The food was nice and hot, and for once I didn't think about the dirty plates. If you are in Illinois and must go to an Ihop, this is the one to choose.

This is the best IHOP in Illinois. Great customer service, always clean, great portions, not too crowded. I have always had a pleasant time here and make it a trip to come to this location. It is really close to allstate but I am not sure how crowded it does get during shows.

Sunday Jan. 13,2013 I wanted to take IHOP survey. Tisk Tisk they cut off IHOP survey id. Sunday morning taking nephew to O'Hare. seated right away , busy but service quick and the food came hot and quick. very good. On the survey i wanted to Compliment the people there. Friendly . Our waitress made my morning. Maria R polite accommodating and very friendly. Always asking how everything is going and if we needed anything! I wish i got service like that where you pay alot for dinner and rarely see the server. MARIA R THAT'S OUR SERVER. I hope the manager reads this .

Everyone knows IHOP so there isn't much I can say that would be new or surprising. This IHOP though gets a very positive review because customer service goes a long way. Everyone working there has been so nice and that really means a lot. Need a pick me up after a long concert or a Wolves game at the Allstate? Go to IHOP!

I felt this warranted an update... I went to one of the IHOPs closer to my home about two weeks before visiting this one. I intentionally ordered the same omelet because I wanted to see if I would get the same thing. NOPE! At the first IHOP, I ordered a ham & american cheese omelet with hash browns tucked inside. I received a small, somewhat overcooked, non-fluffy omelet with two slices of American cheese on top that weren't melted when it came to me. Two weeks later, I order the same omelet at this IHOP... SUPER! This thing was ginormous!! It was also fluffy (IHOP claims to add some of their pancake batter in their omelets to make them fluffy... I guess someone forgot to tell the other IHOP) and delicious! Our server was great as well! I will continue to drive away from the IHOPs near me and frequent this one.

I have been going to this IHOP and only IHOP for the past couple of years now. The past few times I've been there recently, I have been very astounded and satisfied with the service. A friend and I went to this IHOP yesterday. The waitress we got was the same one we got last time and she was fantastic! :) We ordered our drinks then she gave us time to look over the menu to decide what to get. I ended up getting the all you can eat popcorn shrimp with cocktail sauce and 2 lemon wedges to squeeze over the shrimp. This dish also came with a piece of butter garlic bread, which is always soft juicy and delicious. My friend got the breakfast sampler. The waitress gave us refills twice, and she came back with another order of popcorn shrimp. The first serving of the shrimp is big but if you ask more and the serve it to you in a smaller plate. The last time she came by, she gave us our bill, and said she was gonna come back to see if I wanted any more shrimp, which I did, but she never came back unfortunately. I also was going to order dessert for both me and my friend but she gave us the bill assuming we weren't going to order anything else. I wanted dessert but she gave us the bill already. :( Overall, this place has great customer service, large selections from healthy options to senior citizens discount menu and childrens menu as well. There is a steak n' shake behind IHOP which I'm sure both restaurants compete but IHOP is the better candidate of both. IHOPS customer service is again, better than steak n shake, more food and variety. I will always be a fan of this IHOP. The customer service has indeed vastly gotten superb over the years. When I first started to go there, it was just average, sometimes poor. But I guess a new era of customer service has waved over IHOP, much much better now. :D

Reviewing an IHOP is sort of like reviewing a paper clip. If you've been to one, you've got a grasp of all of them, and it's hard to really take a paper clip in a bold new direction. I used to eat at this IHOP maybe twice a week. The service ranged from attentive to lackadaisical, but that's fine -- it's IHOP! The food was pretty consistent and until the last time I ate there I'd have given them a few more stars, BUT... ...the very last time I was there, I was a bit more than halfway through the combo (eggs, hash browns and 2 Fruit 'n Nut pancakes) and I see, while cutting up some pancake, ewww, a long strand of hair baked in. Gross. I give up on the pancakes, but still open to finishing the eggs, until, ewwww, I find a long strand of hair running through the scrambled eggs. I'm unquestionably done at this point. The waiter, to his credit, handled it well and got the manager, who asked if I'd like for the cook to re-make the dish. Um, no. He gave me a 20% discount on the check, so I guess IHOP's rule of thumb is 10% off for each hair found. (I don't know what the hair discount is for other major pancake chains.) I was a little too grossed out, and honestly, a little put out by the arbitrary discount. I want to like this IHOP, and if it was only one hair, I could fool myself into coming back, but no...won't be back anytime soon.

2.75 stars is more accurate.... I went to a convention at the nearby Wyndham O'hare and thus ended up here at 12noon after getting a measly 2 hours of sleep the night before. I was lured in by the cheesecake pancakes....anyway my party got two orders of cheesecake pancakes and a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was tasty, but really greasy and the fries were not crisp-they left something to really be desired. The pancakes were OK...we had our food quickly, but it took nearly 3 minutes to get silverware after we already got our food, and even longer to get condiments (ketchup, etc). At least it was clean, but crowded! The wait staff seemed to be chaotic at best-and our bill was nearly $30 and we were still hungry when we left. I dunno if I'll be back to this location (or maybe just not go back to IHOP...)

I live around the corner from this particular Ihop and visit it once a week for a breakfast date with my hubby. I enjoy the wait staff and never had a horrible food experience. I enjoy the low calorie breakfast options and "must have" turkey bacon. I cant say much about lunch or dinner items because I dont believe i have had anything off the menu pass the first 3 pages :) As far as Ihop's go this one is great

I have never been so disappointed with IHOP like I have when we visited on July 3rd of this year. It was probably around 11 at night when we went and the place was packed. The "host" had a little sign by him that said "half hour wait for smoking". I told him that we had 5 people and he said , but it has to be not smoking in a rude tone.. I was fine with that.. I don't care.. .so we sat down and started looking through the menu. Our waitress arrived about 5 minutes later to take our drink orders and then took another 5-10 min. to come back with them.. she never asked if we were ready to order the 2 times she came by. Then after another 10 minutes of waiting, she finally came back to take our food order. Waited for about 15min. for the food to come out. I got a Denver omelette and it was disgusting.. big chucks of meat.... a friend ordered a sandwich, she didn't ask if he wanted fries or onion rings and when she brought out the fries, he asked for onion rings and she brought him 5 onion rings.. No one in our group enjoyed their food. Some people that were seated near us, gave up after 5 minutes of sitting and no server to be seen and left. So they sat a big group of people by us with a screaming baby and it was about 12 at night by then. I would never visit this location again... Horrible service... I understand they were busy, but honestly they had enough servers and not that many tables in our section.
