We just got back from a 2 night stay. I decided to take the wife and kid with me on a business trip. I had pretty low expectations of this hotel - my experience with hotels near major airports has been terrible. We were pleasantly surprised. The customer service was great. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was really clean. The bed was a little soft, but it's not the hotels fault I have a bad back. Free shuttle to the airport.

i have never stayed at the hotel but I work in the same building where the hotel is located so I often times come there for lunch. I have tried at least six different things on the menu and all have been tasty. The waiters are very prompt and plesant. I definitely recommend for lunch if you are in the area.

Very nice! Nice beds, nice bathrooms, clean! Everything they do is right on target! The only thing is the parking fee sucks, but i understand they have to gate the parking lot otherwise people will park for free an take the shuttle to the airport, and have free parking. I think they should charge a little more for the room and include parking. IMHO

Decent rooms in a decent location. Easy access from I-294/I-90, and only a couple of blocks from the subway (blue line) and a bus station. Complimentary airport shuttle leaving every 20 minutes or so. Good for a long weekend excursion with my inlaws (no kids on this trip, though this would be a decent place for kids). Problems: My wife and I were given a suite on the 9th floor, which was very nice except for one thing: the heat was sweltering (in late December?). It was set on 68, and we turned it down to 64, and went out for a few hours. We came back, still the same issue, and turned it down to 60 (it doesn't go any lower). I also turned the fan on for good measure. We left at this point and went out for the evening, and told the front desk about the problem. They assured us that a maintenance guy would go have a look. We came back in a little after midnight, and while mildly better, I knew that this wasn't going to work. I call the front desk to see if they could provide a box fan or something - no such luck, they don't have any. They offer to switch rooms, or say that I can open a window (again, late December? that doesn't sound like a good idea). Switch rooms it is. The only other problem: the hot tub was out of order for two of the three nights that we were there (and we were out too late the first night). Positives: they switched our room promptly when we told them that nothing was working. Rooms were very comfortable, nice LCD TV's. Easy access to public transport. We went to the loop all four days that we were there, and it was probably about a 45 minute process each day. Not too shabby. Tip: buy a visitor's transit pass, and use it for unlimited subway and bus fares, and be sure to get a transit route map.

Stayed here 1 weekend so I could enjoy the area bar scene and resturants, very clean and spacious rooms, worth the stay.

High class location. Great place for honeymooners. We tried the room service, it was great, and we got to park our car here while we flew to Florida. Nice package.
(4)Ron A.
It's a nice hotel, good layout, good food, friendly atmosphere. It is what you would expect out of any suites quality hotel. What really made this place stand out was the EXCELLENT customer service we received from Guest Service Christopher Robles. He solved our problems and truly made our stay here amazing. This guy was an all star of an employee.

My room was much nicer than I thought it would be, just cause it looks a little older on the exterior. But it was large and nicely appointed. I had a corner room so the windows and light were awesome. Now, housekeeping is extremely slow, each time I called for something, they never came and I had to visit the front desk for my extra towels etc. The parking is stupid. If you have someone visiting or picking you up, they only have 15 minutes before they have to pay for overnight parking. Stupid. Further more, I thought parking was $17 per night and when I received my bill it was $25 & extra $2 for tax. Felt a little bait and switch action there.
(3)Maurice W.
Very nice hotels. Very clean, up to date and nice. The things I dont like No free WI-FI, $18 for movie rentals and you have to pay $30 for parking even if your a overnight guest!!! No complimentary breakfast and they charge an extra $50 untill check out( wasn't informed of that when I reserve the room).. But other then that it was a very nice stay

Among my better hotel experiences ever and I have stayed at quite a few. Since both my friend and I looked sketchy, the shuttle driver did not want to drive us from the airport to the hotel, until I showed him my reservation with hotel address. If you saw my friend and I walking down the street, you would walk on the other side to avoid us. I have to admit that we both look that bad, but we are honest people. By the time, we arrive at the hotel, we and the shuttle driver are great friends. The shuttle driver even tells us to ask for him when we leave for the airport. I had booked the room through Expedia and asked for two beds. The front desk tells us that Expedia had not relayed that information to the hotel, but they will accommodate us. We get a nice room in a quiet corner. The room is very spacious and very clean with both a bathtub and shower. These are business suites, so there is also a sofa bed in the front sitting room with a small desk and television. The sofa bed looks a little worn, but these details do not bother neither my friend nor I. We also have a microwave and refrigerator in our room. The mattresses are in great shape, so we are able to have a good night's sleep. We are able to walk to the Donald E. Stephens Rosemont Convention Center, which is less than one mile away. You do have to walk through three underpasses. The hotel is within walking distance to both a McDonalds and Giordano's at West HIggins and North River. I had ordered my hotel room with prepaid breakfast, so we stuffed ourselves with their breakfast buffet. The hostess remembered us every morning that we had breakfast. The waitresses were prompt, friendly, and helpful. While I was at the convention center, I lost my hotel key card. In a panic, I quickly returned to the hotel front desk, told them, and was not charged for the lost key card. My friend needed his boarding pass printed out and the front desk helped us. The maid cleaned up room nicely every day. The shuttle for the airport leaves every twenty minutes starting at 5:05 AM. I would stay here again, but probably dress better.
(5)Shimain R.
The room itself was nice, since it's a suites hotel there is a separate living room and a bar area complete with micro and a mini fridge/freezer combo complete with a bar sink. I had a lovely corner room so received a lot of sunlight. Overnight parking now stands at $28/night If it were just a review of the room it would be 3.5 stars This is where nice things end, I chose to Breakfast buffet option. While the food is good service is lacking. I was here on business and Had to wait for the restaurant to open 10 minutes late on the first day, which made me wolf down my food. The second day, I sat down was given a creamer with a fruit fly swimming in it, asked about the caper berries that was left off the lox platter (they promptly forgot about me despite being a quiet Sunday morning (8am) and then overcharged for my meal. 2 negatives, 2 days in a row. Let's see how they handle my food charges with my discount at the end of my stay. (They said I had to sign my check to my room and it will have the disc taken at check out)
(2)Robert G.
Very simply amazing!!! You need to stay here enough said!! Room was amazing waitstaff great!! Offer free shuttle to airport!!

My family and I had a pleasant experience at this hotel with only a few complaints. We reserved a suite with two beds and a sofa couch to sleep six of us, therefore with splitting the cost of the room between everyone it wasn't a bad deal at all. I would definitely recommend doing that, if you're in a bind. When we arrived, we were able to check in early, which was really nice--we drove 14 hours from Pennsylvania for a wedding and we got in around 2pm. We checked in and brought all our things upstairs to the room. We discovered we only had one bed and a sofa bed, but we figured maybe we didn't actually reserve two beds and were going to find a way to make it work. We wound up securing a room with two beds and a sofa couch, so we switched room. At first they said they didn't have a room like that available, but they made it happen. Thank you for that! The room was spacious and clean. It had a tub, shower, a bed, sofa bed, Murphy bed, small kitchen area, two TVs, and a desk. It was very appropriate for our crew. The bathroom didn't lock though and I thought that was weird--I was constantly worried about walking in on someone/someone walking in on me. The only other thing was that no one ever came to clean our room or bring extra toilet paper/towels in the three days we were there. The staff was all really friendly, the place is modern and clean, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Extras: they have a bar/restaurant with good food/drinks, but they close at 11pm. They also have a couple of amenities that seemed interesting that we didn't get to check out including an indoor pool, health club, and salon. They were also able to call us a cab when we needed one and it came in two minutes. They also provided a free shuttle. Basically what I'm getting at is: stay here! I would stay again. Only be warned that you are far away from the heart of the city. And there is a LOT of traffic. A cab ride into the city is an easy $50 one way.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Let's start out with the fact that it was a nice hotel. However, it's pretty spendy.... The room was large, had a nice bathroom and looked very clean. It was quite a distance from the allstate arena but it was as close as I could find. They have shuttles going to the airport of course but not to the arena. We ended up walking to the arena and back because it would have taken forever to get a cab, which was not horrible. We had two rooms. One of them, when we checked in had some plates and things (half eaten food) sitting outside the door when we got there and they were not picked up until the following day. Every time we went in and out we had to walk around them. I could have called down to have them picked up but wouldn't one of their workers have done that while walking by? Now, parking. I had paid for parking with the room and told the guy when we walked in that I had. He said ok, took the card that i received while getting in the parking lot and that was it. When we were leaving there was no way out. I had given our room keys to the front desk on the way out the door so I had to go back in and talk to them about getting out. Apparently they haven't figured that part out yet. She ended up just buzzing me out from the desk but i shouldn't have had to go through the whole thing to leave. All of the staff that we were in contact with were very friendly.
(3)Chris P.
Can't tell you yet about the room yet because I'm busy running (with my 2 young children in tow), half mile in the dark in 10 degree weather to park my car in a"satellite" parking garage. All for the low price of $26 a night. I guess my Marriott level counts for nothing. Truly a miserable experience.
(1)Miranda Z.
The attitude of the hotel manager whose name is Machelle B is awful. We called in the afternoon to confirm that we have one king bed and one queen bed in the room. But when we arrived the hotel, the manager at the front desk told us there's only one king bed and one sofa bed. Me and my friends have driven 6 hours, very tired. But the manager didn't even try to compensate us, only saying this is the only room they got, which really pissed us off. She promised us with enough pillows and comforter, but the hotel is short of comforter too.

Awesome bar and restaurant I love the atmosphere and food. Smiles everywhere and great service! Love staying here!
(5)Joe M.
Nice hotel. good beds. Very close to airport. I picked this location because its location. Glad I did. Love the service you get at Marriott, and yes you have to love the beds. they have shuttle service to and from airport.
(4)Tom D.
Good location near airport. Room seems clean in an albeit older hotel. Service is poor. Hard to get anyone on phone and if you need a quick bite go to McDonalds across the street. Because you'll wait 2 hours for room service. Chicago can do better.
(1)Michael P.
Really clean, really comfortable and nice space (of course b/c it's a suite). Only stayed a night, but the lobby is spacious and the bar looked like there was plenty of room. The room itself had a living room/office area, big bathroom with tub and a shower, and super comfortable bed. If I'm ever in the Chicago area, this is the place to stay. Also right near the airport with a free shuttle.
(5)Kemi A.
I expected the worst prior to arrival. I saw a few airport hotels that left much to be desired. My event was at the other marriott was I was told was not good and that's why I booked at the marriott suites instead. I am commenting just on my room and the customer service. I didn't use things like the gym or their food/cafe/restaurant. I got a single room with a king bed. Walking into the room, I was quite surprised at how nice the room was. flat screen tv in the bedroom and living room. Also the bathroom was very spacious, with a separate area for vanity stuff. I wish I could have stayed for more than one night. It was my 1st time in Chicago so after my event (by the airport), I relocated to the downtown area to the Wyndham hotel...and i really wish i could have transported the Marriott Suites with me because it was the better hotel.
(4)Jerry N.
great location. reasonable price. food is decent at the bar (amazingly) handy to all things. ..........and a casino right down the road (walking distance)
(4)Diane C.
Stayed here last nite. Suite was a good size Front desk excellent. Overall good service. One problem. Wanted to eat at their restaurant off the lobby and could not because the entire lobby and restaurant were too cold. There were these drafts as if you were in a canyon. A handful of people were eating at the restaurant. We walked to Carluccis in the same building and although the food was good $25 for a pasta dish is irritating. pool is smaller but jacuzzi is nice.
(3)Bill M.
This cheery hotel in Rosemont looks like it is trying very hard to emulate the Embassy Suites in appearance and style. The rooms are like mini-suites and are chock full of amenities. There is a large parking lot in front, and a babbling creek runs by the hotel though most guests will only be worrying about next meeting.
(4)Dave J.
My wife and I stayed here, courtesy of a gift certificate given to us as a wedding present. We were really pleased overall with our room and the breakfast buffet the next day. And this recently renovated hotel deserves five stars, but it's only getting four, because of one hiccup with service. When we checked in, we asked the woman at the front desk if there was a courtesy shuttle to the nearby Rivers Casino, where we had reservations to dine at Hugo's Frog Bar. She told us she's be "happy" to arrange the shuttle for us. We told her to go ahead, we'd bring our bags up to our room and be back in ten minutes. The shuttle service was provided by the casino, not the hotel. When we returned to the lobby, we waited a bit for the shuttle. I went back to the front desk and asked the same woman if she had called for the shuttle van, as she said she would. She forgot. She got on the phone right away and ordered the van. I moved our dinner reservation at Hugo's back 30 minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes, and becoming somewhat agitated, I spoke with a gentleman who was working at the front desk (the woman who was there must have taken a break), and asked him to order us a cab, as it was evident there'd be no courtesy van coming from the casino. Eight dollars there (for a four minute cab ride...what a rip off!) and TEN dollars back (cabbie claimed it was a flat rate between the hotels in the area and the casino, I say that's bull$%^&). Aside from the incident with poor service, I will say that the hotel is very clean, the rooms are very large and comfortable, the bed was VERY comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. The Mrs. observed that there were no toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner) that you'd find in other hotels. Maybe they forgot to stock our room? Luckily we brought our own and it wasn't a problem. The breakfast buffet the next morning was excellent! Made to order omelettes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a beautiful assortment of breads and fruits. And for our dining entertainment, a six point buck deer was peacefully reclined upon the groundcover in the courtyard next to the restaurant. Even though we live in the area, I would stay at this hotel again for a weekend "getaway". I would recommend that the hotel itself provided a courtesy shuttle to the nearby casino. They already have buses and vans going to the airport, so going a few extra minutes north to the casino shouldn't be a major inconvenience. They wouldn't have to rely on the unreliable casino shuttle. And they could take comfort in knowing their customers weren't being ripped off by taking a cab service to the casino either.
(4)J M.
Very nice staff, wonderful rooms, decent rates. I'll stay here again without hesitation!
(4)Anthony N.
Hotel is ok and this place offers what I call a "sub-suite". Not the typical hotel suite you would imagine and is more like a "low-end" type of a suite, but I got rooms here for only like $120 a night so I can't complain. This hotel offers a shuttle from O'Hare airport and back every 20 minutes. Also has a small gym and pool that I wouldn't use. The one thing I really hate about this place is that Wi-Fi is NOT free and they charge $14.95 per day if you want Wi-Fi, unless you go to the hotel lobby.
(3)Allison H.
My suite was huge. It would be great for a family. The rooms are well-appointed and work-friendly--nice desk and plenty of outlets. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The only downside was the shower was a bit cramped. I ate at the restaurant. Decent bar food and pretty good wine list. They also have some interesting cocktails. I had the French fried green beans. I'm sure they are horrible for your health, but crispy tasty!!! I couldn't stop munching on them. Check in was easy and the staff friendly. There is also a shuttle that runs on a regular basis from O'hare. If you need to stay in Rosemont, I would definitely recommend the Marriott suites!
(4)Reed N.
Really nice place with huge rooms. All the basics are covered, but room internet is wired and costs extra unless you have Rewards gold status or higher. Friendly staff. Easy walk to the Blue Line Rosemont station. Plenty to eat nearby.
(4)Mark L.
What an awesome airport hotel! I was impressed that something this nice was so close to the airport. The rooms are very spacious, and you can definitely spread out, though I'm sure most people don't stay for more than a night or two (I only stayed for one night on two separate occasions). The shuttle that goes between Marriott and O'Hare comes every 20 minutes starting at 5:05 am, which was good for my 6:45 am flight. Thankfully, Marriott was smart and branded their shuttle well as it was a madhouse at the shuttle pick-up area at O'Hare when I arrived on a Thursday night. In addition, this shuttle goes to Marriott Suites and the Marriott hotel. Indeed, they are two different places and most people held up the shuttle because they didn't know which place their reservation was at. Be smart and check beforehand. The staff was very nice and helpful, and I even got a free breakfast out of it, though I believe this was because I was staying on rewards nights. The hotel is about a 1/3 mile away from the Rosemont CTA station in the likely case you are traveling into the city. This was just the perfect distance for me as I was meeting friends in the city (and laughably going to another Marriott; I'm kind of a fanboy). Unfornately, my stays were too short to check out any other hotel's other amenities but I know there is a gym and a pool. This'll be a good choice if I decide to come back through O'Hare in the future.
(4)Mike M.
A nice hotel in an area of nice hotels catering to the O'Hare crowd. The lobby bar area is welcoming but right out front and pretty bright. No hiding going on here. That space doubles as a coffee stop in the daylight. Good gym and pool off to the side of the lobby so you don't have to walk through the whole lobby before or after your swim. Carlucci's right next door is a very good, higher end Italian place and there are other higher end places in the area to grab something to eat. As a suite hotel, you get a sweet large room so you can choose to sleep on your sofa while watching your nice big TV or sleep in your bedroom watching your nice big TV. My room seemed very warm despite trying to cool it down. No big deal.
(3)Steve S.
Nice rooms, HDTV, great view of O'hare and great customer service. All reasons to love this hotel and hate the Westin across the street. I found this place on Priceline for $74 a night. A pretty good deal considering the regular rate for this place. I found the rooms to be very comfortable. The bed was a little soft for my taste. I tend to like a firm bed. But, the bed wasn't enough for me to recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers. Parking was pricey at $22 a night, but that is to be expected near O'hare. Bottom line: A hotel better have good customer service and a clean, comfortable room. This place has both. Don't even bother at the Westin across the street.
(4)Jill M.
Wow! This month marked my first stay in a Marriott Suites. I'm typically more of a Courtyard type of gal, but this property is adjacent to a regional office of my company, so I gave it a try. The rooms are awesome! It felt more like a one bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Having a full living area set apart from the bedroom definitely makes the accommodations more welcoming and relaxing. The room included a well lit work area, a fridge and coffee/tea area, and a large bathroom with separate tub and shower. The property is very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle every 15 minutes or so. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit the area on business.
(5)Kevin O.
While a nice hotel and certainly convenient to O'Hare, it is a typical business hotel. Overpriced and they nickel and dime you on everything. Parking? That will be an extra $20, Internet? That will be an extra $15. This hotel is the poster child of "charge them all sorts of fees, who cares, they are all on expense reports". When you own your own business or are using your own money, this really ticks off a customer. Honestly, how much money do you need when you are charging over $150 for a room that you need to drill your customers extra for internet and parking? The internet is free in the lobby so they force you to work outside of your room (or charge you for the privilege of working in your room). As far as accommodations go, the rooms are nice and bed is very comfortable. They are large suites so that part is nice. Overall, I would have rated it a 3.5 or so for comfort and location but value is so poor it averaged it down to a 2. Only stay here if you get a "deal".
(2)Jonny S.
Very nice hotel close to the airport. Our room had a kitchenette, sitting area, and desk area and then a bedroom. It was supposed to be King Sized, but felt a little small. The bathroom was very large, but seemed to be a lot of wasted space. Nevertheless the room was very comfortable and we easily made ourselves at home for two nights. Good location close to I-190, the airport, and lots of restaurants on Higgins or Devon Streets, and a Casino nearby if that's your thing. The pool is nice. Small, but heated, and open till 11 for weary traveling muscles. Friendly staff too.
(4)Ryan G.
Worst experience with a Marriott in my life. I was stranded in Chicago because the airport got shut down for a night. Their service was horrendous. When I booked the room, I requested a pak-n-play for my 1-year-old daughter. They said it would be in the room when I got there. I asked about it at the front desk and they said that it wasn't there yet, and that they would send one up. After a half hour, it still hadn't come. So, I called to ask again. It took another half hour to get it. In addition, I ordered room service and had a bug in my food. When I called about it, they did little to make any amends. They made me another meal, and that new meal was cold and of poor quality. When checking out, they didn't even ask how my stay was. I had to tell them about the problems that I had been having. They said they would comp my room service. After I got an email with the receipt, I found out that they still charged me for my room service. It was a terrible stay after a long day of traveling/delays.
(1)Ivan S.
Decent rooms. Large, flat panel TVs. Competent service. A handy, free shuttle to and from the airport. So why only two stars? Well, they committed (and will always continue to as far as I can tell) a major no-no in this wired world. After encountering slow internet service (of the work-related variety), I was informed that, well, the hotel shares a single T1. For the ENTIRE hotel. To continue with this internet meme, WTF?! FAIL. I mean, if I'm going to drop $14.95 for the "privilege" of continuing to configure and test our systems remotely after meeting with clients, my connection better be faster than a Catholic schoolgirl with daddy issues. Oh and the green LED on the fire alarm that continually flashes even though all the lights are off and you're trying to go to sleep doesn't win them any points either. Two stars.
(2)Peter Q.
Good business hotel near the airport. Shuttle service is available.
(3)Patrick S.
Not only were the rooms really nice, the dinner we ordered when staying two days for a Red Sox vs. Cubs game could have rivaled any 5 star restaurant. If in the area, stay here!
(5)Tony M.
Great service goes a long way and this place has plenty of it from the front desk to room service very proffesional JW Marriott sr. would be proud of this location. just 2 blocks from the train blue line that will take you downtown and a free shuttle to ohare airport great for bussiness and family clean and secured area with a gym and a pool also close to rivers casino 3 blocks away yayyy ..
(5)Tony S.
Basic Marriott Suites. The workout room had a good selection of equipment but wish that all the treadmills were not all facing a wall. Not all of us like to watch the little 5" tv screen in the treadmill...how about a workout room with a view?? The restaurant was good quality. Room service is too expensive like all hotels, but the quality of the breakfast delivered was really surprisingly good. Rooms were clean. The only real reason for complaint I have is that they are WAY too proud of their parking. The daily charges for parking are practically insulting to a guest giving them multi-day stays. Makes me want to find an alternative next time even if I have to drive further from the city. In this case, the quality staff is the only reason I am not rating it lower. The parking really was excessive.

First problem -- we made reservations at the other Marriott O'Hare hotel immediately upon receiving notice of the Oral Boards date (held at that hotel). A few days before we left, they called and informed us that we had been moved to the Marriott Suites Hotel due to some "mix-up", which they claimed would not be a problem for the exam because there would be a continually running shuttle between the two locations. That was a lie -- we were lucky if the shuttle showed up once every half hour. Fortunately we found this out the day before the actual exam. Second problem -- the room itself was shabby and not very well-cleaned. There was still hair on the bathroom floor. The telephone did not work. There was an actual hole in the bed sheet. The upholstery was stained and worn. The whole place could have used a major upgrade. Third problem -- on checking out we received and paid a bill for 2 nights plus snacks -- all correct. Our credit card, however, was charged an additional amount (about 2/3 of the bill we received). When I called to have this rectified, I was told that the room charges had been split between the two of us (husband and wife) and we had been charged separately for the room despite the fact that we had never received a second receipt or been told that this was being done. The room amount on the bill we did receive did look low; however we had been told that we were being given a reduced rate to make up for the fact that we had been moved to a different hotel than we had booked at. It's not worth our time to keep fighting the charge; however we will not being staying at any Marriott again. So, in summary: Forced to stay at wrong hotel due to their error. "Continual" shuttle we had been promised was not reliable in the least. Room was dirty and shabby. Charged extra for a bill we never saw and that they refused to reverse. STAY AWAY

huge rooms, very clean. only issue was that my shower drain wouldn't drain. they were ready to fix it right away, but I didn't care enough since I was staying alone that night.

This review is for their restaurant downstairs. I've come here for lunch a few times and the food here is great! They have the best thai chicken wings ever! The service is always polite and prompt. Only downside is that the prices can be a little on the higher end, but definitely worth the splurge.

This was the first time I'd stayed in a suite, & hey, I liked it! Too bad I really didn't get to enjoy it much (other than sleep REALLY well), since I'd arrived after having been sleep deprived, so all I really enjoyed was ordering room service for dinner, then basically sleeping so I could take a written exam the next day. Then, I checked out & ended up crashing at a friend's place downtown after that. But the idea of having a separate area for sleeping & separate area for hanging out (couch, coffee table, desk, chair), each with its own TV, is great! And I'm not even very big on watching TV. I think it would definitely be worth it if you're staying a while (several days), especially for work...you could spread all of your stuff out & not have to put it away to go to sleep. They have a shuttle to & from the airport. Just be careful at the airport to make sure you're on the right shuttle, since there's a couple of Marriott's in the area that have shuttles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 5/6/07: They're located very close (3-4 blocks) to an el station, which is great...I made a trip to downtown Chicago, so that was very convenient. I didn't notice that last time I was here...which was fine, because I had checked out with my luggage, taken the hotel shuttle to the airport, where there's an el station too, so with luggage, that was probably a shorter walk. Um...if they get really busy, their room service breakfast is not very reliable. The idea is, you put your order card on your doorknob the night before (before midnight), & you get to choose what you want to eat & when you want it delivered. It's supposed to be on time or free according to the card. Well, my first morning, I had requested for it to be delivered 6:30-6:45. Come 6:46, no breakfast, so I called & they said it was coming. At 6:55, still no breakfast, so I called again, & they said it was coming. At 7:05, I called to cancel my breakfast (they did apologize) because I had to be somewhere at 7:15. I scrounged around my bag for a breakfast bar...thank god I had one--yup the breakfast of champions. It didn't help that I was already really nervous because I was going to be getting my ass kicked that whole morning, so I really didn't need to run into any glitches. I ordered room service breakfast this morning to be delivered 6:15-6:30 (I was leaving for the airport early this morning), & it arrived promptly at 6:15...basically what got me out of bed. It was quite good...I tried their "healthy" french toast...instead of coating it in egg type of batter, it was encrusted with something like corn flakes. Oh yeah, the bathroom has a separate shower & tub...I like that! I didn't bring my computer but did notice that they have internet hook up in the room....luckily I didn't suffer too badly from internet withdrawl over the last 2 days I was gone. I was going to check out the pool & hot tub, but I got back too late & was too tired to do that. The hotel is connected to the office building next door, which has an Italian restaurant & a convenience store (stock up on water & snacks), so if you don't have a car, you have a few more options than the restaurant in the hotel (which was pretty good). Other than the breakfast glitch one morning & the fact that my other 'event ' memories associated with the place aren't the most pleasant because I don't really enjoy having my ass kicked (I'm not a masochist), I still like this place. Here's to hoping that I won't be back for another exam, and if I'm ever here again, it will be of my own accord.
