Classic Roscoe spot, just added avocado bacon burrito and it is delish, go get it. Good coffee good service just what you would expect from a place that had been doing it for years. Go for breakfast, not as sure about lunch.

We like the breakfast and the small town feel. My daughter LOVES the Swedish Pancakes! All on all a good feel experience.

I have been here 100 + times and love it every time. . You son and I love to eat breakfast at the counter.

The food was ok , but there was a roach on the wall. The waitress did not tell manager..

Truly average to slightly below for food. Service was adequate. That's about the sum total for 1/2 dozen visits. Breakfast is probably the best bet. Lunch is not so great. Dinner is just average. Breakfasts. Service for a family group (6) was a challenge. Four (4) people or less was more manageable for the wait staff. At least the food was good, but slow to the table. The two (2) children liked the waffles. Parents liked the skillets, even though the potatoes were slightly greasy and undercooked.. The Grandparents liked the Hash & Eggs. Bacon was extremely chewy. Orange, tomato and grapefruit juices were cold (cold is good, in this case). Lunches. We had soup and sandwiches. Soups tasted a little scorched and served lukewarm. The BLT had old wilted lettuce. Bacon on BLT was very crispy. Dinners. Just OK - the veggies (straight out of the can) - so mushy you could make paste. Can't be certain, but the mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box. The entrees and potatoes swam in the gravy, but tasted OK. We know that gravy can conceal a lot of issues, but I'm a big "Sop it up guy". One place setting's fork had something yellow on it, I think it was dried egg. Diner fare at best. Probably need to have the kitchen staff pay more attention to the quality of food: bacon that was like beef jerky, undercooked skillet potatoes, overcooked veggies, limp lettuce and extreme gravy - possibly a chef / cook that cares could improve the food. Service. Uneven service ranged from very good to fair. Pay better attention to silverware and place setting cleanliness. Overall: NO AlkaSeltzer or Maalox needed, just an owner who wants to take a hard look at how much better the restaurant could be. Pricing was high for the quality of food served. Kitchen and Wait Staff training might help.

Overpriced average food. Was hoping for home cooked southern comfort food so maybe my brain was stuck in that mode but I was unimpressed

Food is good for the price, the restaurant is a good place to meet family for breakfast. Friendly staff and good service.

Very friendly staff and decent food. I would recommend this place to friends as a quiet, sit down place.

I was looking for something different in the area to try and thought it was just average though the service was good and the staff was friendly and we had a special request that was not exactly on the menu and they did it for us. I was impressed by the jello as a side dish instead of the standard sides unless you like that all the time. It was not your average jello. The prices I think were a little high but the place was clean inside but a little dirty outside with the garbage cans overflowing and trash on the grounds. I think I will pass for now but maybe try it down the road again to see if things have changed.

went out of town for a few days and when i came home i headed right to Jessica's. It's just like my own home cooked food without any mess at home. The service is always friendly and the food is just the right amount and always good and the atmosphere is always relaxing. I never feel rushed.

It's just ok I would say. Nice staff good service. I had eggs Benedict it was pretty bland. And drenched in prepackaged hollandaise sauce. Prices are fare.

One word.......roaches. A few more words.....food not good and service not great either. Will NEVER eat there again EVER and would NEVER recommend. The roach was seen in broad daylight by several, was pointed out to management and very little was done. Can't imagine what's in the kitchen.

Been coming here for years. I have noticed the food gets over done. If you order swedish pancakes they are over cooked. The bus boys litterally toss the dishes into the bins. If you want to talk to anyone during your meal, better text each other. It is so noisy you can't believe it. The waitresses are SLOW. They talk to one another instead of finding out if you need anything. The reason? Because there are guys there to refill your water or coffee. If you drink anything other than coffee or water, good luck getting a waitresses attention to get it filled again. They hover in the corner talking to each other. They will avoid eye contact. I don't come here anymore. It's too hard to talk and hear over dishes crashing and eat over cooked pancakes. They used ti be great! What happened? I just drive right by. Sorry jessica. You should be reading these reviews, or lose business. If you want to talk, I'll be at the Hollywood restraunt in Loves Park. They have swedish pancakes that are perfectly cooked and I can talk to my husband instead of texting him because there are no dishes crashing into bins.

This is a "get what you pay for" type of place... Pretty reasonable prices for decent food.. I had the fish fry which wasnt bad and cheap at like 9 dollars all you can eat.. Surprised the fries (really really good) were not all you can eat though... All in all its not a bad mid range place to eat..

Don't waste your time and money. This is the worst experience i have had in many years. I ordered chicken stir fry with teriaki sauce. There was no teriaki sauce. They don't have any in the restaurant. No manager on duty, no one to help, slow service, very little business. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see...standard diner menu, check! Courteous staff, check! Large portions, check. Baked goods from Mary's Market, double check! Overall pretty typical diner food executed well. Great place for the morning after a night out.

Orders mixed up. Food was so-so or worse. Waitress insisted I had salmon. The grey slab of something looked like no salmon I have ever seen. only took an hour for service. The place didn't seem that busy. Now I know why.
