FInally!! An authentic East Coast style sandwich shop! Having lived in the East, I really missed having a deli style sandwich shop in the area. Well, the wait is "ovah"! The one negative is that they can't get Utz brand potato chips! Fresh cut fries are superior and reminiscent of boardwalk style fries. All the sandwiches are excellent. Tasty, high quality meats and cheeses really make the sandwiches stand out. Sometimes the sandwich artists need to pay closer attention to substitutions and special requests but generally come through with a flourish. At the new location, it is well lit, appears cleaner and there is more room for eat in. While not a fast food restaurant, the wait is nearly the same as special orders at Mickey D's, B-A-Roo and BK, and the food is much better here. Pricing, compared to other sandwich and sub shops in the area, is on point considering the higher quality of ingredients. Want a great sandwich, this is your "GO TO" place. It's a HOME RUN!! 1/31/13 -Just a quick note. Slightly disappointed the last 2 visits. Soggy fries 1 time and then they were closed before the advertised time. As a result the rating slips from 5 Stars to 4 Stars.

The food is pretty decent, but the fries were heavily salted. I felt like I had my daily intake of salt from the fries alone. It's a good change of pace for food for the area so I definitely like that. I remember last time I had them, they were amazing. Not sure what happened my second time around. It was also pretty empty in the place when I went for lunch. I was surprised at this. I like how they have their menu on a chalkboard inside. I really want to try the evil empire sandwich, it sounds interesting.

Had a groupon, so I figured I'd try this joint out. Ordered the Cubano and a non-memorable, but acceptable cold sandwich with fries, which were hot, fresh, and delicious. Not much to say. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back when I'm in the mood for a sandwich, but I wouldn't actively seek it out. lol. Rating = Ambivalent.

Heard this is the place to go. Ordered the Brooklyn special, the sandwich had a ton of cheeze and ONE slice of turkey (I think it was turkey) and ONE slice of pastrami (I think it was pastrami), the "toast" was a bun turned inside out (so they grilled the inside of the bun and served it "inside out". The sad part was the "cheez" didn't even fill the bun. Fries were good I'll give em that. SLOW service, didn't help. Wife was not fond of the pork sandwich. Don't look for Guy and DDD to be there any time soon.

Aye Yo! Can I get a decent sandwich 'round here? Ayeeeeeeeeee. I've been waiting for a place like this in Roscoe! Fresh, delicious, hearty and comfort all in one giant bite! I held back from writing my review immediately after my first visit when I devoured the Chicken Philly- TDF! They grill up the French bread with butter and gooey cheese, pile on chunks of juicy, tender chicken topped with perfectly seasoned grilled green bell peppers and onions *drooling*. I wanted to make sure the food was consistent and that the other sandwiches lived up to my expectations of the new place in town, and they do. These brothers make SERIOUS sandwiches and I can't stop thinking about the fresh cut fries. The Empire Deluxe is simple and heavenly. Each ingredient works perfectly together, especially the soft sourdough sliced bread. As I'm waiting for my order I spot a cute little lady digging into her reuben with her eyes closed. I think, "there's no way she was going to finish that thing!" I almost grabbed her other half and ran out the door. Luckily my boyfriend was there to remind me that my sandwich would be ready soon and that someone might remember my face and ban me permanently. I know exactly what I'm going to order next time. ***Came back a week later, had the Reuben- AMAZING! This is the type of sandwich you can't describe with out using a swear as a descriptor. fucking delicious. I'm addicted.

We ordered take-out here tonight, and the food was pretty good. I had the steak and cheese with mushrooms; it was good, but I would have liked some au jus to go with it and some more mushrooms. I also had the cheesy broccoli soup and I really enjoyed it. The fries were nice and seemed fresh-cut, which really shows a lot of effort on their part. I was also able to show them my HHS student ID for free fries and a drink! Overall, the food was a nice change from our usual Roscoe spots, but I'm not in a big hurry to return.

My favorite is the marinated chicken wrap. My husband favors the rueben but every time we order this rueben..something is wrong, he wants it with no 1000 island dressing on it and the last 2 times we ordered 1000 island was applied to it. First time hubby had to drive back, and got a new sandwich, 2nd time I checked before leaving store. So i guess check before you take your sandwich home..if you custom ordered it.. :) Otherwise, great place.. :)

Delicious, top-quality ingredients. I like that this food is different than most places around here. I had a cold sandwich, but I asked the nice man to grill it and make it a hot sandwich, so he did and it was great. Huge portions, the price is kinda on the high side, but I understand that it needs to be because they are using good meats and cheeses and bread, and that stuff doesn't come cheap.
