Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If you just must have Chinese food, and don't really care whether it is all that good, this place will do. Probably they do some dishes very well; every place has its strengths. Orange Chicken is not a strength here. The dish looks as if they add some sort of food coloring to it--nothing is naturally that "Orange." The batter is rather heavy and the sauce not well balanced. I found the fried rice tolerable, but nothing to praise. They should probably leave the shrimp out, since it is not appetizing to see the excrement-filled intestinal tract intact in the shrimp. I found the BBQ pork appetizer very unappealing--I have never had it come to the table drenched in nasty glop as I have had it around here--a local style? The Cantonese-style fried shrimp were probably the best part of the meal, and even they were just about average. If you truly love Chinese food, and care about the quality of what you are eating--please keep looking. If you just need a Chinese food fix and aren't too particular, then, yeah, go ahead, eat here, but please don't say nobody told you.

Almost didn't go, it was mid afternoon and it looked deserted. My husband said he used to eat here as a kid and it was good. We decided to head to imperial palace in roscoe instead. After checking online reviews on both we decided to go back to china palace. We were the only guests there and there was one employee who my guess was the female owner. She was very nice. The egg drop soup and egg roll were fantastic! My entree was egg foo yong, fried rice and beef chop suey. I had never had egg foo yong and I loved it. The rice and chop suey were a bit salty for my tastes but I will definitely return for another meal.

Love it! The food is always wonderful. I wish they would post the menu online though.

When we went to this place the interior was beautiful but our waitress looked like a 60 year hooker and the food was horrible!

We had a reservation. We said 8, plus a high chair. They had seating for 8 people, but no room for the high chair. I asked if we could make room (add another table, or move us somewhere else). They wanted my son to be on the side, not at the table. I had to argue to let my son sit at the table with the rest of us. Out of 8 of us, 2 people liked their meals. It took a while for us to get our food. When the waitress brought the food out, she said "This has been sitting back there for a while!" Um...great. We had to track someone down to get our check. We waited for so long. The only plus is that the egg rolls and crab rangoons were good. It was such a horrible experience, and I'm not a very picky person. I'm understandable and know that sometimes things happen, but it was bad. We used to come here often, though it's been a few years. It used to be great.

I went 7 yrs ago and swore I would never return. My husband did too but we decided to give it one more try. It's not only awful Chinese food...it's just bad food in general. The woman who was there serving was very sweet and did a great job. The vegetables were swimming in that slimy gelatinous cornstarch and water mix. The veggie eggroll was stuffed with peas and carrots that were clearly from a frozen mix. Blech! Never again. Not sure how they stay open. It was onlt my husband and I and one other table at noon. Glad not many others had to suffer through it.

What a great place! The food was good, we had shrimp toast, wonton soup, pork fried rice, the cantonese platter (a sweet & sour dish with chicken, pork, shrimp) and chow mein. The service was good, the atmosphere nice although it looked like a Bavarian type of restaurant with a Chinese lantern, LOL. The big reason only 4 stars... the ladies room. It is downstairs, which is fine but it looks rather "unused" and sort of dingy. I didn't find the bathroom to be dirty, just a little spooky-ooky like. It was also freezing cold down there. No hot water and I swear you could have frozen to the seat! LOL Eat there but save the trip to the bathroom until you are home! :)

Awesome food! If you dont want msg on the food. Just tell them. Egg rolls are delicious. Staff is great so is owner. Has party room and sells alchoholic drinks if you want. Has carry out. Fried rice is excellent. Have a great meal without a lot of people. Can get crowded at times. The hot and iced tea is perfect.

We were a larger party (9) on a weeknight, and we had made reservations. However, they only had one server who was supposed to be training the new busboy (embarrassingly obvious it was his first night). The "trained" server couldn't keep track of tickets, couldn't serve food to the correct guest, couldn't run more than one ticket at a time - back and forth to the register. She was supposed to also be serving 3-4 other tables as well. Ridiculous. The busboy couldn't fill water glasses without nearly spilling on us and constantly touched the rim of the glass. He cleared our plates after apps and then brought them back to us and said he wasn't supposed to do that. It was all disgusting. The food was acceptable, but I've had better at Great Wall or even Happy Wok.
