This Starbucks deserves a good review. There are several locations in Rockford, and every time I happen to come by this location, whether drive-thru or dine-in, they are always on point. Friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to visit. If I could only pick one Starbucks in the Rockford area, this one would win by a landslide.

I've been to this location before and had a really great experience. My experience yesterday was disappointing. I was purchasing the Illinois Starbucks cup at this location. I only found one and I decided to purchase it. I noticed it was a bit sticky, but didn't think much about it. However after being at another location where the cashier went out of his way to get me a cup that wasn't their display cup, I think I was a bit disappointed that the cashier at this location didn't also do that. However, I'm not really letting that experience affect my review. I was just disappointed in the service and the coffee. The cashier wasn't very friendly. He didn't notice me standing there until another employee said "hi" to me. He quickly made my coffee and I headed out the door. I was very disappointed to discover that my coffee was barely warm when I took a sip. I was nearing the end of a roadtrip and didn't have the patience to go back in and have them make a better one. I've been to a lot of Starbucks all over the country and I think this was possible the only time I've ever received coffee that cool before.

Convenient yes but this is by far the SLOWEST starbucks I have ever been to. The up side is that the staff is friendly but they are just sooo slow

This is my "go-to" Starbucks in Rockford. Very friendly staff, and a comfortable, relaxed environment where people can lounge and read, study, or chat with friends. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing cup of coffee.

I normally make my own coffee, but sometimes I want something a little different. I think Starbucks is a little proud of their coffee, especially for the prices they charge. However, ever fall I do love their Pumpkin Spice coffee and year round I love the caramel macchiato.

I've come to expect good coffee from here. The store cleanness & service of staff here is awesome; I'd prefer this branch over others in town.

My favorite Starbucks in Rockford. It's really awkward being the only customer in a cafe while baristas gossip and giggle. I feel like I'm being watched. Luckily, there's enough traffic in here so that I can swim into my textbooks and disappear for an hour or so, but not enough to get too loud. I'll have my Venti Sweetened Black Iced Tea - no water here over any other Starbucks any day.

This is comparably the best Starbucks in Rockford along with the one at the intersection of Bell School/E State St. The staff has changed recently and there are some very poor quality workers there now. Lincoln from this location is always so outgoing and friendly. Hopefully the new workers realize they aren't fit for the job sooner than later.

As many have pointed out, this was the best Starbucks in town 6 months ago. The staff was friendly, very efficient and the entire place felt like a neighborhood coffee shop. Exactly what Howard Shultz intended. Now after their remodel they are less focused on the customer in the store, much less efficient and sadly much less personal. The redesign of the workspace is tight, limiting workflow and focused almost entirely on churning drive through orders. I'll still go here, the manager is great, but now my must have neighborhood coffee experience, is more like a fast food impersonal experience that shows a trade off for drive through orders at the expense of loyal customers who, for the past 5 yrs, have parked, walked in and enjoyed a better than average cafe experience.

I enjoy working from this Starbucks. They have a clean and large space and their staff is extremely well trained. However, being next to rock valley college provides for large packs of 18-20 year old groups at random points in the day. It's distracting while trying to work and having to stop to listen to a story about how the teacher reprimanded a fellow student because of selling drugs and wondering why their tuition money doesn't allow them to waive this one mistake.

They finally put a drive thru in so props for that. Service is extremely slow and employees at window don't know the menu. My 3rd time through, so not a one time incident. Hopefully they'll get caught up and maybe they're just overwhelmed by the new drive thru traffic.

I enjoy going here and trying new coffee. One thing that lacks is cleanliness. I never see anyone sweeping and the trash is always full. I am finding that most of the ppl aren't too friendly!

This is my favorite Starbucks in Rockford. The staff is great, they can always help me out when I don't know exactly what I want. I love the setup of this Starbucks also. The outside area is awesome and it has a decent view while you relax with your caffeine.

This is the best Starbucks in town because they have the best staff in town. They're friendly and efficient. The place is always immaculately clean. Going here is always more than just going for coffee-it's a social experience where the conversation is just as important as the espresso.
