I looooooove this place!!!! I am hooked! Never again will a grocery store steak be acceptable. Honestly, the prices are not that much higher than grocery stores, but the QUALITY is way above. But the pest part about Countryside is the staff! Always friendly and nice! I have asked for amd received some great advice on cooking and seasoning tips. One time I was running late, and really had a hankering for their ribeyes, so I called them up and they had my order packaged and ready to go as I ran in at the last minute before they closed - and they couldn't have been more polite or accomodating to me, even though I'm sure that was a bit of a hassle for them! Excellent service, highly recommend!

Great place to get a sandwich to go (seafood sensation is amazing) or the best meats in town. The ribeyes are so flavorful with just the right amount of fat, and their burger selections are very tasty. The only negative thing is the prices are a little high, but that's because you're paying for the quality. The service is excellent and friendly like you're in a small town market.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Countryside. Knowledgable and friendly staff. The meats are of exceptional quality. My family can always tell when I have cooked with meats from Countryside. They love it! I shopped around for something as simple as ground round and found countryside to be higher quality and much cheaper priced than the surrounding Schnucks stores. $1.50/ pound cheaper and $2.50/ pound if buying 5 pounds or more. That is a big thumbs up when having to feed a large family on a budget.

Mike A. is sadly mistaken. Better yet, HE'S A JOKE !! On to my review... Countryside Meats and Deli is the best shit in town! Recently, my buddy and I stopped there for lunch and that was probably the best deli sandwich I had in my life! What! Yes, true! Boars Head cheese and meat and did I mention those DAMN pickles! Delicious! A huge SO to my boy, Jarrod for running a very fine establishment. If you are in the area, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STOP AND EAT !! 5 STARS! BINGO, BANGO, BONGO! BLAM! !

An excellent place for fresh, quality cuts of meat. In addition to your usual cuts, they also have specialty marinaded cuts, stuffed chops and chicken, premium sandwich meats(Boars Head turkey) and cheeses. The staff is always friendly and ready to recommend a good cut for you. In the frozen section, the stand outs are the stuffed chicken breasts (specifically the cheddar and broccoli) and the deluxe double baked potatoes. A fridge area has the usual deli, coleslaw, potato salad, etc, as well as some fun olives and other crazy cheeses. Definitely worth a visit for any meat lover. **Assorted pigs parts for dogs treats! Maybe a little gross for some, but suck it up, your dog will LOVE them. [Just make sure to take the bone (if you get a foot or similar) away before it becomes a little shard/choking hazard/incredibly painful roadblock in the middle of the night.]

The best meat market in Illinois! I have grilled my NY Strip for people and their eyes roll in the back of their head. I have used steaks from other places and rather the meat isn't as good or it cost a farm for one steak. We drive out to Rockford and buy $100 in meat and freeze it. Everything is top notch and fresh rom this place! Top notch!

After comming here for the first time I will never come here again! A loaf of bread $7.00 an average size bottle of bbq sauce $7.99 everything seems so over priced. I did buy A small package of ranch brats it costed me over $10.00 for 5 little brats. You couldnt even tell there was ranch in them they just tasted like plain brats. I might as well went and bought some Johnsonville brats and put Hidden Valley over them it would of been better. I also had to wait 10 minutes till the 2 boys running the register to stopped flirting with a customer. She did give the one man running the register her phone number I guess the other man working there was too old for her.
