Came at the recommendation of our hotel. Was a little concerned that it was pizza and Mexican. Weird combo. We got a large thick crust cheese pizza and salads. Enjoyed everything! The large was too much for 2 adults and 2 kids, but leftovers are great! Service was excellent.

Great service! I frequent Tower for their wings, fiesta margaritas and pizza. I also love the pizza bread (sauce on the side) and pretzel with cheese. I love the atmosphere in the bar area and the patio is nice when the weather is good.

Jeff Special with extra sauce is my all time favorite! Add a pitcher of margaritas and you found heaven.

Stay away from the shrimp tacos for the love of god! The fried avocado bites were quite good, but a very small serving of only 4 tiny ones for the money.

My boyfriend always takes me their for a fun mix up dinner! We order all kinds of fun things! To start the restraint itself is themed pretty good and it Mexican and Italian. I love that they have a outdoor patio! I always order the hot wing pizza it's my fav and will always be, the thin crust is THIN and sauce is sweeter than a lot of sauces. Overall never had a bad experiment at Tower.

First trip back to Quincy in several years...Tower is still great. Not the best I've ever had...but certainly worth a try.

Varied menu, good pizza & Mexican. Nice mix here, with good Mexican food, and very popular pizzas. Also some sub sandwiches, etc. to round it out. Crazy busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to specials. Get there early, before 5! Wish they'd open for lunch. The best refried beans in Quincy by a longshot, the Mexican places can't come close!

Worst friggin pizza ever...soggy crust...nasty taste. Would have been way better up with a grocery store pizza and up $9 bucks....that's what I get for ordering pizza from a combo pizza/mexican joint.

My in-laws live in Quincy and when we visit from Champaign, a stop at Tower is ALWAYS a must. We always get the Jeff Special (an awesome pizza) and queso and chips. I just love them both! The pizza crust and sauce are awesome. They are generous with their toppings, too. A pitcher of margaritas really helps everything go down! ;) I've read the other reviews about the service. Yeah, it's been kind of hit or miss for us, too (hence the reason for only 4 stars). There is one waitress that I see every time we go there. Apparently she's been there for a really long time. I am always happier when we get to sit in her section. She's awesome. Some of the other college-age waitresses have not been excellent. Go early. Every time we go on a weekend there is a huge wait. It's worth it though.

Delicious food at a reasonably cheap price. I ended up getting a large appatizer, two large entrees, and a dessert for around 30$.

Lived in Quincy all my life and the Tower is one of the most consistent restaurants in town. Way above average and you know exactly what you are going to get when you walk in. Be prepared to wait to get a table.

Not very happy. Tonight I tried to make a carry out order and they asked me to call back in 10 minutes because they were having computer problems. I was driving around just waiting so we call back in 10 minutes exactly and the person who answered the phone rudely says (after probably looking at the caller id) "we told you to call back in 10 minutes. Our computers are still down. My husband asked if they could just write our order down (apparently who does THAT anymore...) and they refused because they wouldn't know how to figure the tax properly. For real? Are we that dependent on computers that we shut a restaurant down during the 5pm hour cause our employees can't calculate tax?!? I was surprised but took my business elsewhere. I know computers have problems, but the attitude was not appreciated.

The pizza is good, the mexican is good. Service is usually good. They have excellent specials, which usually results in long delivery times. The specials are good enough to make up for the wait time though.

We had just dropped my brother off at QU - he's a freshman and Mom and Dad were still a little teary eyed as we walked in the door. Thankfully, the great smells coming out of this place distraced them long enough to order, eat and head back home. We ordered a thin crust pizza with half bacon and half sausage. My sister, Mary, ordered five tacos for $5 and a side of refried beans. The tacos arrived and we immediately order five more to share. They smelled so good! Now, it turns out that they are just your average tacos and nothing fancy, but the ingredients were fresh and the salsa was tasty. It was a good move. The pizza was better than expected. The crust was a little thicker than I would have expected for a thin crust. It was chewy, not crisp but it was good. The crispy, meaty bacon on top was a great treat. I am not much of a "sausage on pizza eater" these days, but the rest of the family really liked it. Next time, I am trying the fajitas as they smelled fabulous! The only real complaint that I had was with the bathroom. There are two stalls in the ladies room and the one toilet needed to be flushed, but I couldn't figure out how to make it flush. The other toliet flushed, but on its own and only after you walked out of the stall. Kinda weird.

Last night after eating our pizza which had been delivered. My husband found a hair cooked into the cheese of the pizza. The staff should be wearing hair nets to prevent this. Made me feel sick.

The food is good. Service is terrible. Some of the young kids working there need an attitude adjustment or managements needs to train better. Actually I think management needs an adjustment.

Tower Pizza is a Quincy landmark. Although it moved within the last few years from its original location. Great pizza, sandwiches and salads. There garlic cheese bread is great and you get a huge portion. I usually make it a meal out of it with a side salad. Also I am not a soda drinker but the fountain soda especially root beer tastes oh, so good here. Enjoy!

I am a huge fan of Tower! I really miss being in Quincy and making this a tradition! We would go here for afternoon drinks, late night meals, whatever! It is always yummy and quick service, and always polite. My favorite is the chicken nachos - which a half order is plenty! The margaritta sticks are yum yum yum good too!!! And the pizza, well the pizza is AWESOME!!!! I will be back when I am in Quincy again!

I was a bit scared when I went online and saw that the actual name of this place is towers of pizza and mexico. I just couldn't imagine a restaurant mixing pizza and mexican food together. I was terrified when i walked into Tower's of pizza and saw in big letters:Mexico on one and in big letter on the other side: Italy. It just doesn't sit right with me. But as we were being seated I glanced at someone else's pizza and it looked really good. I was starting to think what did I get myself into? So me and my friend went ahead and ordered a medium pizza one side pepperoni and olives the other side pineapple and chicken. The pizza looked amazing and tasted amazing! It was so good. All my "judgemental first impressions" were quickly dimissed once I tasted that pizza. The waiter was very attentive. She refilled my friends drink the minute his glass was empty. The price was reasonable also. If i'm ever in Quincy again i'll definitely be stopping by for a taste of Pizza and Mexican!

I started eating at the tower when it was next to QU. It has changed a lot over the years but the food is still great and the prices are good. The new location has a separate bar area from the dining room. There is always a crowd and I have never had a bad experience.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
