Great mom and pop pizza place that serve some of the best pizza you will ever have! The nacho supreme compliment the best pizza you will ever have as well. Good for birthday parties and they do serve pop but you can byob.

11 reviews, 10 of them a perfect 5 stars? Must all be friends and family. Had to be a different restaurant than I ate at tonight. Terrible pizza was only surpassed by the poor service. Two parties in the restaurant (at dinner time!), a group of 8, obviously friends of the waitress, and me and my wife. Waitress spent all of her time talking about a car show she attended that day with the other group, the whole time we were there. Never ONCE asked if we needed anything. Pizza was thin and tasteless. I've had MUCH better frozen pizza from the grocery store. Salad was bagged lettuce, croutons and a little cheese. Dressing tasted terrible and inedible. btw, not a chronic complainer, this is the first time I've ever done a negative review on Yelp. We travel a lot by car and consequently eat out a lot. My wife and I agreed, this was exceptionally bad!!!!

We love Mario's, pizza is great. Taco pizza is the absolute best, and the nachos supreme are very good too.

This pizza is really good! It's the only pizza place in Pontiac that I will eat at. The pizza is made fresh in front of your eyes and I know that everything is fresh. The owner Julie has been making pizzas there for probably 40+ years and she has perfected it. They even have multiple levels in the ovens for cooking at different temperatures- I guess they bake the pizza at a really high temperature briefly to get the crust ready, then bake at a lower temperature until the cheese is golden brown. In addition to pizza, I love their garlic bread with cheese and their breadsticks. I also love that this place is not a chain - it's a hard-core authentic pizza joint with a long history of great pizza. And the owners are the kindest people you'll ever meet and they have great employees.

Best Pizza in Pontiac! When I crave pizza when I visit, Mario's is the place! Of course it's not Chicago style, nor does it claim to be. It's Mario's pizza! I mean, when you can take something as simple as tortilla chips, add melted cheese, ranch, and sausage and it tastes awesome! Then you are doing something right! Plus Mario's has a special place in my heart. It was our hang out in Jr. High on the weekends. Also High School, for dinner, then cruising the plaza! Great memories and still great food!

IF you're expecting a Chicago good pizza don't bother. Grew up on pizza from Ottawa and Aurora and when I moved down here I was sorely disappointed. People down here don't have a clue what a good pizza is. Average at best. Won't even eat it in a pinch. I drive to Ottawa or south suburbs if I want a decent pizza.

This is the only pizza place I will consider going to in Pontiac. The pizza is phenomenal! If you go you have to try the nachos supreme! Its a chunky nacho sauce with ranch dressing and it is DELICIOUS! I know it may sound weird but believe me, it's heavenly. Just writing this makes my mouth water. I like it spicy so I get a side of JalapeÃ±os with them. Very, very good. The pizza is perfect. It's exactly what a pizza should taste like. The sauce has the right amount of spice. The ingredients are always fresh. Everything is just perfect! The place is great, the food is wonderful, and the people are amazing! This is exactly what a pizza place should be. I highly recommend Marios. Some recommendations for a new customer- Try the buffalo chicken pizza or the bbq chicken pizza. Both are delicious if you're not in the mood for a typical pizza. Also, the pizza rolls are great! So if you're looking for a change try getting your favorite pizza as a roll! So good! A++++++

I have recently been back to Marios after many years of living away from Pontiac. It was always my favorite and still is. Hard to explain why but it beats pizza from all over the country including Chicago and NY. Perfect blend of crust, sauce and toppings. My family knows that when I visit I want to go to Marios.

I wish I could give Mario's Pizza a thousand stars! I've been going there since I was a kid. Now I live in NYC and even though New York supposedly has the best pizza, I can't wait until I return "home" to visit family and am able to eat at MARIO'S PIZZA. It is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!! And for those of you who are interested in the whole "Route 66" trip, it's right on Route 66. You won't find better pizza anywhere!!!!
