My ex was from Hawaii and when we drove home one summer this was a huge event. Driving through the drive-thru with him and my then stepson was like they were going to see the 7 wonders of the world. Both him and my ex were so curious having seen the movie. "This is not road trip food." "Why?" "Do you like public bathrooms?" "No. why?" "Then trust me. It's not road trip food." They didn't listen. Growing up you may find yourself asking why in the world do you eat this stuff? Because you get a ton of food and its cheap. In a way it's like sushi too. You're resilient to try it at first because it doesn't necessarily look like the most appetizing thing in the world but you do anyway and then find yourself craving more later. "Two 10 sacks of sliders pls with some fries and onion rings." "Why do you call them sliders?" he asked. "You don't listen. I guess you will see." Why DO the locals call em sliders? Think about it. Greasy little burgers. Cheap. Yeap.... So if you're going to partake... do it under the right circumstances. Road trips just 'ain't one of em.

Why? Some one please answer me WHY we eat this? It is by far the most horrible food I have encountered and yet I keep going there. Am I insane? Is this some sort of food brainwashing? I really don't understand. It is a nasty food, causes horrible gas, and causes the worst feelings of dread in your stomach you ever want to experience. I am beginning to think its a conspiracy between the makers of alcoholic beverages and the owners of the white castles everywhere. Somehow when you drink the beverages a chemical reaction occurs in the brain kicking in the chemical or subliminal advertising to eat this demonic invention. If someone finds a cure please let me know.

THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE AND THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. My friend and I came here over the weekend in the wee hours of the morning. My only justification for coming here was that it was 3 in the morning and this is the only place open. I has been YEARS since I've been to Crap Castle and this visit just reminded me why. I ordered two sliders and both "burgers" were cold. I saw the grill that they got the "burger" out of that looked disgustingly dirty. My friend ordered fries and those were ice cold, obviously it has been sitting there for hours. Luckily, I am still alive and have not died from my meal, but I won't be taking anymore chances with this place or any other White Castle for that matter.

I was driving and lost trying to find I-55 out in the suburbs and coincidentally starving. Finally, a familiar friend was in sight. What better way than to stop at the beautiful blue and white shelter known as White Castle? They'll feed you, love you and massage your digestive system all in the matter of 20 minutes! "Sack of 10 to go, please," I politely request. The reason I take them to go and eat them at home is because I like to add my own cheese of choice, whether sharp cheddar, provolone, muenster or Kraft processed cheese foodstuff. Heat up two at a time in the microwave for 20 seconds and you're in for a good time! Remember, The King lives at the Castle, not in Whopperland.

i can now say that i have eaten at White Castle. i can now say that the burgers at the restaurant tastes just like the white castle burgers i can buy out of the vending machine on the west coast.
