Went in with my husband and son. Parking was difficult to find so we expected the place would be packed but they were not. We were greeted and seated immediately and had our drinks on the table shortly after we ordered them. I got my son the chicken tenders and fries. I had a chicken wrap with mild sauce and ranch my husband got a medium size traditional wings. It took a bit longer then should have for our food to come but the waitress acknowledged it, which I can appreciate. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but far from terrible.

Received a gift card and held it long enough before I decided to burn it. I'm not sure why I am bothering to review since they are OK with their overpriced fast food, a cheesy sports theme gone old and a mixed drinks with minimal alcohol in their mixed drinks. With a below 20% tip you can expect to pay $40 for one beer, one mixed drink, one wrap and fries and 12 wings. All sub par over processed food. 2 stars because the hostesses were nice but that is it. I'm ready for this chain to go away.

Never had a single problem here. We use the take-out service occasionally, and you can call ahead. They are always really accurate with wait times for take-out orders (usually 10-15 minutes). Favorites here are the boneless parmesan garlic and Carribean jerk wings, beer battered onion rings, chicken wraps and mozzarella sticks. For real, yes, mozzarella sticks. They are better than any other fast food/fast sit-down I've had. Some bars can be tough competition. I don't like bone-in wings. So I'm also a huge fan of the 60 cent boneless wings on Thursdays. Most of the time I want BWW, I have to think, "what day is it?" Even though I always opt for the same flavors, I can appreciate the variety in flavor and spice. Honey BBQ for the kids, and Blazin' for the tough guy proving himself to his buddies after losing a bet. There is a sizeable patio area, but there's nothing scenic about the parking lot or Route 59. Great for a meet-up with friends, to watch a game, bring take out home, or even a first date.

Too bad you have to give at least one star. Zero is more appropriate. A team of boys coming in to celebrate a sports championship was greeted first with a 20 minute wait to be seated. The hostess spent half that time talking the moms into having the group sit in the bar area. Once (eventually) seated, the bartender/server came over to explain how he couldn't handle us all at once - because some of us were seated in his section, and some not (gee, wonder why, oh because the hostess insisted we all sit in the bar area with not enough space to handle us all). On at least 3 occasions, the bartender/server came over to tell us how difficult it would be for him to handle us. Well - - TWO HOURS LATER -- we STILL have a team of hungry boys. No food! Upon explaining this to the manager, HE at least was accommodating enough to apologize and say the bill was on BDUBs Plainfield. That's a nice gesture, and we all appreciated the effort. But all for naught. Please, don't add insult to injury by bringing out STONE COLD FOOD! Trying to make it up to us with apologies and a tab covered by the house is great. But then serving cold food, well, that pretty much negates the whole thing. Yep, a two hour wait for whining from the bartender/server (who's apparent injury was inflicted upon him by the hostess) and cold food. Never again. Plainfield's REGIONAL MANAGER should step in and reconfigure. What a shame. The restaurant lost AT LEAST a $600 tab, plus tips, and all of our future business, PLUS got this glowing review on Yelp. Well done.

Called and ordered wings for pick up, brought them back home, ordered 10 spicy garlic and 10 medium both boneless, I ate the spicy garlic boneless wings first, I'm pretty sure they were either sitting for a while or old, they were really hard and not good like they usually are. This is the first issue I have had with this location. Kind of worried about how the medium ones are going to be.

Absolutely terrible! We arrived and stood 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged us to seat us. Four staff members even looked right at us and said nothing. Then they seat us in a corner where the overhead lighting had a burnt out bulb. Had read the menu via my cell phone flashlight. We ordered appetizers. Well our food came first THEN our appetizers with a lame sorry by the waiter. No offer for a discount or anything. When the check came there seemed to be a rush to bus the table while we were still sitting there. Then i look across the dining room and see a trash can on top of a table while waitress is clearing table that diners are still sitting at! Oh and the volume of the TV was way too loud. Only positive was the drink refills

The hostess was extremely nice, and we were greeted immediately. They offer complimentary tablets to the kids. That definitely explains why we saw a ton of families with little ones. I'm not a big wing fan so I appreciate that they serve a great burger. I also recommend the soft pretzels as an appetizer.

Whoever answered the phone when I called for a carry out order this evening doesn't know how to talk to/handle customers. Food is hit or miss, and I'll definitely still eat here because it hits the spot sometimes, but my gosh, b dubs needs to step up their customer service game. When I asked the girl a question about the menu that she didn't now how to answer, I asked if she can see if someone else might know. Well, she didn't put me on hold so I can hear her conversation with who I assume was (but hope wasn't) a manager (who also didn't know or didn't feel like answering) and was just incredibly rude like sorry for asking a question dude chill In their defense, I called the b dubs in Shorewood first, and that was just awful. Maybe the same regional manager or something? Both locations seem to have a problem with girls with total 'tudes.

Ridiculously bad service! I had to ask numerous times to get any service, then they served my 15 month old spoiled milk! When I showed them and brought it to the waitresses attention she said "oh yeah, that's bad" but then just took it away but did not even bring my daughter a different drink (not even a glass of water that I asked for 3 times) and did not even apologize! Horrible-I will NEVER go back!

Awesome every time we go. Great service, great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere! Servers are polite and fun. We love watching sports at this BW3! Keep up the great work. We will definitely be back!

Bdubs is a cool place to eat, hang out, have drinks, play Buzztime and watch games. Just don't choose the Plainfield location. We took our son to the Plainfield location last night for his birthday. Unlike other Bdub locations, they do not have the new Buzztime pads, our waitress had severe ADD and screwed up four of the five orders, but the worst was her idea of treating our 6yr old to a birthday surprise. My folks arrived prior to us and told the waitress that our son was celebrating his birthday. I can't tell you the number of times I've been at a Bdubs when the staff has come out and sang to the person celebrating, especially if it's a child. So when the waitress took my order, I leaned over to quietly tell her that our son was celebrating his birthday. Before I could ask if they'd sing to him, she cut me off and told me she had already been informed. Alright, great. After dinner her idea of 'celebrating' was not to sing or ask someone else on staff to sing to our son at the table, but instead to bring out a brownie & ice cream desert, which we did not order and were charged for! That was it!! We go to a lot of Bdubs locations and have enjoyed all of them except Plainfield. I've had the misfortune of having to go to this location twice now, due to the proximity of my parents home, only. I'd rather eat a bucket of horsesh*t than go back here. Bdubs Plainfield is the bottom feeder of company.

Quick dinner! Thursday is $0.60 boneless night so it was busy. Ordered a burger and didn't specify blu cheese crumbles vs blu cheese sauce. My fault, but our server Kory took it off the check since I didn't eat it. Didn't have to ask, he offered! Love excellent service.

Another bww visit! Our server Erin was prompt friendly and was having a nice time while taking care of her station. We will definitely request her on our next visit. Food was hot and tasty. ..

I mean, the LEAST they can do is thoroughly cook their wings. I've unfortunately gotten food poisoning from here TWICE! And I absolutely love wings & beer :( Just never again from bdubs.

I was having a perfectly fine time at this restaurant, I was about to pay my bill and leave when the manager approached my table and informed me that it was corporate policy not to allow me to use my e-cig in their establishment. I don't know the reason for this policy but I assume that that was that they don't want to encourage children to start using e-vapor. However this place has no problem allowing kids to sit in the bar area (this is where I was sitting) where they are seeing examples of adults drinking to excess and then get in their cars to drive home. Hypocrites have no place in my life and I won't being going back to Buffalo Wild Wings ever again.

Let me start this review by saying I have been a Buffalo Wild Wings fan for a few years. It is always my late-night go to snack. Tonight I learned the lesson that not all Bdubs were created equal. I normally go to the one on 75th Street & Route 59 in Naperville. But tonight, this location was closer to my route home, so I figured, why not give it a try. How different could it be? Let's just say if I could give this location zero stars I would. We called in the order and arrived 10 minutes later. When we walked in the food was there and ready for us. That should have been my first red flag. I was so excited that my food was ready for me that I went straight to my car and figured I would have a wing or two before I drove back home. I opened the bag and the sauce from the wings was all over the bottom of the bag due to poor packaging. It was a complete mess but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I proceeded to have a wing and noticed two things: The wings were luke warm and the breading was old/stale. I was not happy and would have been even more upset had we realized what we received when we got home. Now I understood why our food was ready when we got there. The plain old wings were sitting there long enough for the breading to go stale. There was no way these were fresh. The person at the counter, was apologetic and their cook fired a "new" batch. They insisted we kept the old wings as an apology. Forgive me but giving a customer old food that they are returning is no apology but an insult to think they should discard it themselves or that they may decide to eat it. Five minutes later my friend came back out and we were duped again. The food was hotter, but it was the same story. Old wings with new sauce. It doesn't matter how much sauce you put on them, at the end of the day, the breading was stale, which meant the wings were sitting there for some time before the sauce was added. As a paying customer, the bad food we received twice from the kitchen within a matter of minutes was an awful experience. It was apparent by their actions, they felt we the customer could not recognize the difference between old and new food. As a longtime Bdubs fan, I know how their food should taste and I am not okay paying for poor quality. I would never go back here again due to the lack of care and even more lack of customer service. When a restaurant who specializes in wings cannot even deliver edible wings, there is a clear problem. Do yourself a favor, drive five extra minutes to the one on 75th and Route 59. You will have a better experience and better food. I have never been let down there. I do not know why there is such a stark difference between the two locations but our experience was so bad I couldn't believe they were the same chain. We ended up throwing everything in the garbage and are out $25 bucks for wings we didn't eat.

Service is awful. We sat at table for 20 minutes. The waiter came and took our drink order and 15 minutes later he never returned and we walked out. AWFUL service! I will never go there again.

This bdubs I think is franchised bc it is definitely not as good as the others in the area. The food, drinks and service are far inferior. It does not carry PPV or HBO sporting events like the others in the area, either and not as clean. The joliet and naperville bdubs are much better.

We will never go back here again!! We were sat in a booth where my son basically had to look up vertically to see the only TV in his sight. We also had a perfect view of the front sidewalk, where we enjoyed watching all of the bar smokers go outside to have a cigarette, complete with spitting!! We ordered appetizers... waited a long time for them... and little surprise when they showed up at exactly the same time as the entrees. (The manager did come over and apologize and took them off the bill). The wings came out DRIPPING in sauce!! We literally had to wipe them off with napkins before we could eat them! My daughter's water tasted like old tap water! My salad was boring, with below quality mixed greens. The service was HORRIBLE. The waitress was clearly completing her shift and we watched her doing all sorts of sidework (sweeping the carpet, filling salt shakers) instead of checking on us. We weren't even given hand wipes after eating wings... Other than watching sports, there is no other reason to come here!

I've been to a lot of Buffalo Wild Wings and this place was a little lackluster. The lunchtime menu was fine. Standard fare. It just seemed that they nickel and dimed you for every little thing from a side of mayo to an extra ranch dipping sauce. The lunch crowd was sparse, but the service was slow. I will not return to this establishment.

Foods Ok and service is pretty good. Can't complain, but can't really give a better score.

What can I say? They sell wings and have a bunch of TV's... They show UFC which is cool! But the bad thing... the food they sell will slowly kill you if this is a regular spot for you. I say for the occasional hang out or UFC for free viewing this place is a nice choice. Me not caring too much for kids wishes the family environment was less present here. But that's just me.

Great place to watch the game and enjoy some beer and wings. I am a bit embarrassed to hoot and holler at other establishments during sporting events...but not here!. Nothing really great to report here but nothing bad either. They get the extra tar for trying to give craft beer at chance at this location.

50 cent wing thursdays are when you want to go! I love the Asian Zing, but watch out, it tends to burn twice.. (wink, wink) I tried the Thai curry, and was under impressed... Nothing like what I expected.

We had a coupon, so we thought we would try it again. It had been many years since we dined at a Buffalo Wild Wings. I built my own grilled chicken sandwich and my husband has the milder wild wings. The service and food was very good. No lack of TV's to watch, one at our booth. I would go back and again have the grilled chicken.

I entered the Buffalo Wild Wings in Plainfield. First I had to seat myself or I was told to seat myself and I wanted a booth. So I did. When it was time to order, I wanted the 24 wings on a discounted Tuesday. I wanted all the 5 dry sauces or rubs. Perhaps I could order 25 to make it proportionally divided easily. The franchise said it could only issue 6 sauces or something. I was able to get what I wanted at the Aurora and other Buffalo Wild Wings locations. I did not understand why I could not get 5 rubs distributed "evenly" over the 24 or 25 wings and why I had to choose 6 sauces divided as evenly as possible and perhaps leaving me without one rub for the 24 when I wanted to sample all 5 dry rubs , just confusing things. The Manager said it was some policy that limits them and what they can do despite my pleas and the customer is not always right or can get what he or she wants. I ended up just ordering less than what I wanted and this place will earn less business from me by choosing 18 wings, to make things easy and my dissatisfaction will be reflected in my tip (2 cents total, 1 cent on the credit card and 1 penny on the table) and I will not come here again.

I took my granddaughter BWW for dinner while I was babysitting her. She loved the trivia game. We must've played two hours with no rushing from the staff. I had the hot boneless wings and they were as described...hot, but very good. I just don't understand how a boneless chicken gets around.

Decently priced and have always liked BDubbs food but talk slow when ordering over the phone. Have had to go back in several times because the order has been wrong...even after they repeat it to you.

  • FJ P.

2 stars should be taken as a compliment. We have went there many times over the past 4 years and the service worsened each time. Service is my hot button. This is not a fine dining place, but the "kids" working there do not realize that maybe it is OK for them to help out a coworker. When you fill water at another table and walk right past my empty water glass and look and make eye contact and keep going, that is a management problem. I always see the staff standing around, it always looks like the place is properly staffed, just no one does anything unless they have a table. The food is always consistent, but I would go anywhere else that would at least give me the minimum service expected.

    (2)
  • Bob L.

Not really crazy about it. I bbq outside in the summer and like my wings better.HMMMMM for the price its not good and wings are cheap to buy. Also whats with the paper plates they give you. How cheap and unprofessional is that , Try and get service on a busy day, forget it. Not really worth the time or money. For young kids and early 20s its like a fad.

  • James D.

Wings are usually fine but have been inconsistent at times as well. Tuesdays are 25 cent wing days, and if that was everyday the rating would be a higher. I prefer the Garlic or Asian Zing sauces and when the sauce is plentiful, it's great, but that's not always the case. It's a good place to watch a game but it's a bit too unorganized for me. If you're really looking for the best wings, it doesn't really outshine some of the local bars in the area.

Well, after many Yelp reviews, it's time to knuckle down and write one about my profile picture. I live in the city, but I'm an IT consultant, and one of our clients is in Plainfield, IL. Yeah, it's a long way out to the 'burbs. Plainfield fascinates me. It's a whole other world out there. Route 59 is a bastion of Wal-Marts, Targets, and just about every other chain store you would expect to find. And in the middle of it all, Buffalo Wild Wings. I used to frequent a Buffalo Wild Wings in my college town of Morgantown, WV. In fact, it was called BW3 when I used to go there. The BW3 in Morgantown was much smaller and seemed more like a local bar at the time than a chain restaurant. And honestly, I really love their wings. I have fond memories of drinking beer, eating wings, and cheering on the Mountaineers at BW3 with dozens of other rowdy fans. So when I found myself in the middle of nowhere in Plainfield, looking for a lunch spot, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Buffalo Wild Wings. Now, whenever I go to Plainfield for the day, I always make it up to BWW for lunch. It's a great spot, honestly - if you like sports bars then this is the place to be. Cubs, Sox, ESPN, you name it - it's on the big screens. The staff is great at lunch, and even though I only make it there once every week or so, the bartender remembers me and brings me a Coke. I recommend trying out some wings, of course - boneless or the real thing. I'm a wuss and get Mild sauce, but they have about a dozen flavors to choose from. So yeah - your results may vary. But I love BWW, and I'm not afraid to admit it. One of the few chain restaurants I heartily endorse. Oh, and that's Mr. Stegs in the picture in front of the restaurant.

This place is consistently good. The service is fast and efficient. The wings are done well and the sauce addicting. Best of all the beer is fresh and very cold. An outstanding pour.

When the food is great, it's great! But unfortunately it's not consistent. Coldest beer in town though!!

Not the best BWW location I've been to, but also not the worst. Usually far less crowded than others in the area. Lots of parking.

    (3)
  • Joedel G.

What else can I say ? First of it's 1/4 mile from my home, secondly best buffalo wings so far with ample variety of sauce selections. It's a sports bar so it's noisy but the spirit is always present. Price is very affordable not to mention they have happy hour and discounts on certain days.

Being that this is one of the only late night food joints in the immediate area, it gets four stars. It's still just any-old bdubs otherwise...

Great wings, great staff, great booze. You can't beat watching the pay per views here too.
