Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I was surprised it was this good. We're from out of town. Just drove in & got it to go. Hot & sour soup had a good spice but a little lacking in the sour part & way too much tofu. Fried dumplings were a little too thick but there was a lot of the meat stuffing & it was delicious. The shrimp & pork Hunan style kicked ass! Veggies, spice, meat all perfect. Doubt that I'll be back this way but if I was I would go back.

Let's start with the positive..."crickets chirping"'.... I just ate here, or attempted to and I have to say, I was taught if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all. So I won't say anything at all

This family is the sweetest Chinese family. They are friendly and make very good food. You will not find anything extravagant about this place but it doesn't need it. Very good fried rice and sesame chicken. General tsaos is spicy which is not my liking but the chicken is good nonetheless. Buffet is just every simple nothing fancy. If you are in town and want good Chinese with a laid back atmosphere this is the place for you

Big city Chinese in small town America! I grew up in Pike Co, but have lived all over the country and I consider myself a connoisseur of food in general, but I am VERY picky about my Chinese. I was reluctant to eat Chinese food in Pittsfield, but I was not only surprised by the variety and price, but also the quality of the food. For about $8.99 they had a full buffet WITH crab legs! I was disappointed there was no sushi, but again I would have been reluctant to try it anyway. I tried just about every entree and everything was cooked fresh and with authentic flavor. While there was a good bit a variety, there wasn't a ton of food just sitting on the buffet so you kind of had to time to your trips to it, but that also meant that every trip had fresh food waiting. it wasn't just sitting under a heat light all evening. Service was friendly but a little clumsy, but it appeared to be family run and therefore I give it extra kudos and overlook a bit as these are family members working not 'professional' servers. But everyone was friendly and personable. There is plenty of seating available and large tables than can accommodate parties of up to 8 easily and more with some advance planning and reconfiguration. I am glad there is a Chinese option available in Pittsfield and I hope they continue to provide good food. A definite 'recommend' if you're in the area.

The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I've tried the buffet, I've tried to order from the menu; it's all gross! The General Tso's chicken doesn't have close to the flavor of what General Tso's is known for. The pepper chicken tastes almost identical to the Tso's. They bring the food out in a steal pot to the buffet. Last I checked most Chinese food is prepared in a Wok. I could be wrong. The food is terrible. You go to restaurants for the food; avoid this one.

This is the best chinese food in pike county....wait a minute its the ONLY chinese food in pike county! (unless there has been one that I don't know about!) So that automaticly gives it three stars. I give it four for the (semi) new place its in, and for the broccili it has on its buffett. Its REALLY good. Their hot tea is awesome also!
