My husband took the kids for dinner tonight and they all said the food was "disgusting". They will not go back.

Great food, great prices, and great prices!

We tried this place a few months back. Were still trying to find a great thin crust pizza. Actually wasn't too bad, however the sauce was a little too sweet for me. If you like your sauce sweet, this is the pizza for you. Their chicken wings were pretty good though. I'm on the fence on whether I would come back here (if we find a better place no, if we don't probably).

I went there for lunch on 02/12/2010. I don't even know where to start because it was a BIG disappoint considering the hype. THEY NEED PRIVACY WINDOWS OR SOMETHING to divide the diners from people walking in and out and from the hostess station!! The server...rushed us whenever she made it to the table b/c otherwise, she was M.I.A., she never took our soups and when the food came there wasn't much room to place the plates on the table. My pet peeve....she took the bill w/o asking if we were done or needed change and took off with it. I got the vegetarian pizza special and the pizza arrived cooled off! The cheese stuck together so when I TRIED to take a slice, I either had no cheese or had an extra slice. Oh and the pizza was very bland the only ingredient I tasted was the spinach. Carry out it happens but dining in! Seriously!? My colleague got the pepper and egg sandwich and it also was cool. They defnintely need to work on the kinks and maybe just maybe they have a chance.

Ordered food 7:21 on line, received at 8:47. 1 hour 25 minutes, and we are 10 minutes away (if you get stuck at all of the red lights). The driver may have been intoxicated in some way. He could not open his eyes & was talking in a strange manner. Called after an hour & we were told the driver already left. Called back 20 minutes later & we were told the driver left 15 minutes prior. Also told by a female voice that the "pizza had to be remade". Don't you think you should call the customer and tell them, as we have no clue what's taking so long. What really probably happened is that they made the pizza after our first phone call. Really LAME customer service, she just did not care at all. BTW, the prices are different on line at the different locations. Pizza crust like cardboard, cheesesticks soggy. Don't do it! Plenty of better pizza places around here. At least better customer service.

This is a second and updated review. Since my first experience, I have gone back several times (Its literally a block from where I work) and have had a much better opinion of it since then. The staff is friendly, and the pizza is great. If you go on their website you can see some of the cool specials they have on a daily basis.

I've been here before and was really hoping to write a glowing review but unless you're ordering pizza, I'd say find another place. The thin crust pizza was great, but the lasagna was frozen and reheated in a microwave. It was a clotted lump of soggy noodles and yuck. The spaghetti with sausage was over cooked noodles tossed with reheated sauce with microwaved sausage on top. Another yuck. Just get pizza.

HIGHLY recommended. Great pizza. Great food in general; large Italian selection or pastas, meat and salads. Great prices. Great for kids or adults. Full bar. Great for parties also. And they have a large patio that is covered! They have delivery or cary out options also!

I ordered delivery from here to my hotel room and it has not that great. The delivery guy yelled at me for not answering my phone to let me know that he had arrived, I didn't see his call. Front desk let me know he had arrived. I ordered a thin crust pizza and cheese bread. The food was lukewarm, pizza tasted funky, completely lacking flavor and the cheese bread was like rubber and suck to the foil it was wrapped in. I would not recommend this joint for anything.

Been here twice for a lunch break while at work. I heard the Calzone's were a must try. So we called ahead and actually placed order about 40 minutes before we showed up. I would highly recommend that so you don't have to wait or in a hurry with your work schedule. Both times I've eaten outside on the outdoor patio. Food, Service was great in the past month, the two times I've been here with co-workers. The cheese calzone is delicous. This has to be my new favorite pizza place.

I was in town for business, and had the food delivered to the office. Delivery was rather fast, but my sweet potato fries came soggy and mushy. The chicken guacamole panini I had was not bad, though the chicken tasted a bit rubbery. I think it was likely previously frozen (in fact, I'm pretty sure). It's the kind of food that'll do in a pinch - standard fare; nothing to write home about.

Love this place for its *Sweet Pizza Sauce*. Thin crust pizza is the bomb. I order a thin crust with spinach and garlic. If im in park ridge, i cant get pizza anywhere else.

I'm not quite sure why they're getting such mixed reviews. I'm a big fan of their thin crust pizza. I have also tried their jumbo hot wings and they're better than average. It's a great place to bring the family - my 2 year old daughter has space to roam and she's never a distraction to other diners. I've also had a couple beers at the bar and they've got a surprisingly good selection with drink specials throughout the week. Whether you dine in, carry out or do delivery, you can't go wrong with Dags.

We had a thin crust mushroom and sausage pizza, and it was really good. Nice crispy bottom. They have a canopy over what I think is an outdoor patio, but it was all closed up with plastic "windows", even though there was no sign of rain. So we asked if they could roll up the section by us, to get some fresh air. They seemed a little put out by having to do it, but it made it much fresher and breezy. I would go back for the pizza again.

I love this place. There double doe pizza with sausage and mushrooms is my favorite. Probably one of my favorite pizza places in Chicago!

This review is only based on my take-out experience, as I've never dined in the restaurant itself. That being said, the pizza here is the best I've tasted since moving to the area in February. My veggie pie was super fresh and loaded with toppings. The pizza was perfectly cooked. The crust had the right amount of crunch and the rest of the squares (yes, it's cut into squares) were nice and chewy; just the way I like it. Not sure what their other specialties are, but I'll definitely return to try other menu items. 4/5 stars because even though the pies are worth the $$$ the pizza here is definitely a splurge item.

Have you ever been to a restaurant and have a waitress demand a tip?? Well that is what happened to us tonight. Our waitress was not the greatest, our pizza came out cold and before our appetizers!! We ordered a salad, bruschetta and a spinach dip and our pizza came out 15 minutes before the bruschetta and spinach dip. Their excuse? The kitchen was behind. 1- the place was not packed, even for Valentine's Day. 2- if the kitchen staff was behind, why was the pizza even put in the oven before the appetizers could be finished? We ordered bruschetta, that consists of bread and tomatoes. Come on now. 3- their special for Valentine's Day was a medium "heart" shaped pizza and a bucket of beer our pizza was not heart shaped. Don't offer something if you aren't going to present it. After our $90 bill was paid on credit and we're waiting to get change to give her a cash tip. My mother in law went to the washroom and the waitress demanded to know where her tip was. She also confronted my husband!! And when he stated that he needed change she said "forget it, I don't want it and walked away". It was rude and very unprofessional. In all our years going to restaurants, we have never had a waitress demand a tip. It was very humility for someone to do this. We have been to other locations and have never had a problem before. We will not be returning to the park ridge location ever again.

If you are staying at the SpringHill Suites without a car you can walk here. Nice place. Clean. Good service. Family vibe. They make their own salad dressings and they're pretty good. And the greens were fresh. BUT. There is absolutely nothing special about their pizza. I'm not a fan of Chicago style. ..too much dough. So I ordered their thin crust. Which they claim to be famous for. It is pretty much cardboard . The house made sausage topping is pretty good tho. yeah 3 stars. If I lived around here I'd find somewhere else for pizza.

Terrible atmosphere. Food isn't horrible but it is hot as hell in here. We are literally sweating and eating. It's gross. If they can't provide ac for their customers I'm sure another restaurant can. Plus the wait time is ridiculous. They're not even busy and our total time here, wait and all is 1.5 hours. In this ridiculous heat. Fuck this. Place

Southwest salad was good. Blue cheese dressing was better than most places. My table ordered sweet potato fries, calamari and a veggie thin crust. Service was great. Your typical pizza joint. We will be coming back.

I have to watch my carbs, and going for Italian food is always a challenge. Dag's has been a godsend--their Chicken Parm with grilled chicken is very tasty, and they substitute grilled veggies for pasta, making this a very healthy and delicious meal. Friendly and attentive service also gets my notice, and the team here does a very nice job. Thanks, Dags!

We moved into the area last April and have been to this location 5 times or more. We live less than 5 min away so I always pick up my order. On Halloween, I ordered a pizza at 4:15 they said it would be ready in 25-30 mins. I came to pick it up at 4:45. I was at the dining room table 15 minutes later and the pizza was cold. I had to actually heat it up in the microwave because it was so unbearably cold. When I decided to give this place yet another chance two weeks later and told the cashier what had happened last time, his answer was "That's Impossible!" Well no it is not impossible because it happened. No apology, nothing. I do have to say that the pizza I had that night was just right. I'm really not sure what happened on Halloween, but maybe it was too cold outside to use a pizza oven? Is that even possible? Maybe I should ask the cashier that took care of me.

Food may be worth 3 stars, but service was only worth 1 star. After ordering we asked to change the TV at the bar to NBCSN. The manager asked the channel number. Being from out of town we said we didn't know and didn't know what cable company they used here. The manager then replied, well if you don't know, then I can't change the channel. class act! The couple sitting at the table behind us were seated before us, but for some 20 minutes never had a waiter come by to take their order. They had to ask 3 times to get service. Nutshell, service SUCKED, the bar was not soccer friendly. It wasn't even patron friendly. I would not return.

We came in with the in laws on the way home, the service was extremely slow. Waited about 10 minutes for the drinks and only 2 of them were brought out, we finally stopped the waitress and she said I was going to bring the rest out with your dinner (why did she decide that?). The food was brought out and one before/sausage combo didn't have the cheese she said you didn't order it. Then one of the guys came out and said its wrong and they added the cheese. The waitress didn't seem like she knew what she was doing at all. It wasn't a very good experience.

Had calamari and spinach ravioli with oil and garlic and it was great. My partner had the Italian slammer (?) Sandwich and sweet potatoe fries also great. Brought kids and I really liked their sides which were fries, tots, fruit, veggies, or ants in a log. We chose healthier options and the kids liked them. The price was a bit too high for the ambiance and quality. It was good, but too pricey to return.

I came here for lunch with a co-worker one day. We've ordered their pizza for delivery before, and the pizza is good, but I think this was the first and only time I'll be eating in. No lunch specials! What is that? We did happen to be there on one of the days they offer their lunch all you can eat buffet (pizza, soup, and salad), but it was nothing special. I actually thought the offering was quite small. I had the Greek salad, and it was fine. I mean, it was lettuce with tomatoes, olives and onion, so not too difficult to put together. It was a good amount of salad, but for about $8, I didn't think it was worth it. There was a snow cone machine as you walked in, which I'm assuming is for customers to take a snow cone on their way out. Given that it was freezing out, I skipped the dessert. Verdict: Order the pizza for take out or delivery (be ready for lots of cheese), but skip everything else.

I have been to the one by Wrigley so thought I would try this one. I shouldn't have. Placed a delivery order at 1:15 that was supposed to arrive by 2:25. It is now 3:00 and I was told my Italian beef sandwich will arrive at 3:15. Almost two hours for the delivery of a sandwich and couple cans of pop? No apology either. Definitely don't order delivery from this place.

Yummy food! Fist time popping in here, ordering the deep dish pizza and the Chicken & Spinach Penne, both very very good. The sauce on the pizza had a sweeter taste, definitely threw me off because I'm so used to Giordano's strong sauce. But after a few bites I've grown use to and surprisingly enjoyed it! But I wouldn't recommend it if one doesn't like the sweeter sauce taste. You could then always order something else there! They have plenty to choose from, not just pizza! For example, the chicken and spinach penne I got was very good. You were able to choose from either a tomato basil cream, or olive oil and garlic. Olive oil and garlic was delish! Overall, good experience. I wasn't disappointed.

I've had thin-crust pizza from this location on a number of occasions. The reason for my review is that it appears the pies have gone downhill. Same great crust, but sauce that looks like it was applied with a teaspoon, and tasteless mozzarella. Even the toppings couldn't save it. One of the most bland thin-crust pizzas I've eaten in the past year - and I've had a number of them. Dags! Get your act together! You used to build great pies. Now you charge $30 to deliver a large, bland sheet of blah ingredients with 1/4 cup of sauce. Sad.

I've stopped through here a couple times for a weekday lunch or drinks and food on the patio. I haven't yet dined indoors so my experiences are limited. Service is sometimes spot on and other times could be better, but I blame that factor on how busy it is. For instance if there are only a few people sitting on the patio, we may not get another server out to check on us in a timely manner. I've had the thin crust and the deep dish. Both are decent options for pizza, however not the first to jump into mind when I'm jonesing for a good Chicago pie. I remember having a conversation with another Chicagoan about Chicago pies and the usage of Italian beef and giardinera. This person mentioned D'Agostinos and so I stopped by to try it. It's good on both thin and deep dish pizza. Most tend to come here for their other entrees, so that might be something of more interest to try the next time. D'Agostinos also serves slices, which is a convenient option for the the anytime hunger.

The wife & I ate here for the first time and might be the last based on what I experienced and read here. I was hoping for a better restaurant exoerience but the only thing that stands out was the toy trains that ride above your head. We ordered house salads because I didn't want to pay steak prices for salad and was a little confused by the size descriptions but the 1/2 was plenty. Ordered med pizza thin crust was thinner than I expected tomato sauce was sugary sweet. I wish the cheese went to the edge of the pizza and I wish there was more cheese but wishing ain't gonna make it happen. The beer was good and I ordered a Root Beer also hoping it was good but w/o knowing the brand at the time was bland. There are no pretentions here, no placemat, almost nothing on the table at all. Salt, pepper, sprinkle cheese and your utencils wrapped in napkin. Throw in some TV monitors all showing the same game and there is nothing to distinguish Dags from any other greesy spoon. If I have a choice of pizza places between thisplace and another I would rather get my pizza from Mugs on Harlem/Touhy.

I was very happy with my D'ags experience. A group of three of us came here for lunch. We scored free parking in their lot. Ate in the dining room, it was too cold for the patio. Waitress was friendly, on her game and never overbearing. I did not have a salad, but one person did, and while it looked basic, it also looked fresh and crispy. We shared a thin crust pizza, size large, topped with pepperoni, sausage and giardiniera. The giardiniera off set the sauce, which was a bit sweet. It was a good pie. Piping hot, crispy crust, ample toppings. Bonus- there is a model/toy train that runs overhead in the dining room.

After reading some other reviews, I'm happy to say that I haven't had a bad experience here. I love the thin crust here. It reminds me of pizza in Italy. My mother loves it as she is from Italy. Even my sister doesn't complain. Great coupons available from Entertainment. And you can reserve a table through the Open Table app to avoid a line. The table service has been consistently great. I've been at this location three times, with three different servers. Very attentive top notch service.

Over the last several years I have eaten at D'Agostino's. Their thin-crust pizza is worthy of four stars. The crust is perfectly cooked. We like their chicken bar-b-que pizza. We have had their pepperoni and sausage. We like their super thin extra-crispy crust pizza. The pizza sauce is a touch on the sweet side, but it is not super sweet. Their pizza is ubiquitous! The Gorgonzola Walnut Salad is actually very refreshing especially on a warm summer evening. It consists of mixed greens, mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, red onions, Gorgonzola cheese and walnuts (with whatever dressing you like). We usually go with their homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette, which is the perfect amalgamation. We usually order the "Full" for our salad because it serves two perfectly. I prefer the deep dish pizza from Gino's East or Lou Malnati's Pizza. D'Agostino's has fantastic thin-crust pizza, but I don't care for their deep dish. However, I prefer their original Chicago restaurant location. The service here is "hit or miss" and this is why I am rating it with three stars. We have had 2-star service and we have also experienced 3-star service here. It is very rare that we receive 4-star or 5-star service. Getting someone's attention can be a pain at times. Having our water glasses refilled is rare. We usually have to flag someone down to get more water (like another Server or the bus-boy). This particular location has a small outdoor patio. Who wants to sit out there and inhale car fumes while eating lunch or dinner. The patio faces the parking lot. The restaurant is on Higgins which is a very busy street. Traffic can get a bit loud at times as it is not very far from the Kennedy Expressway. Bus fumes. Truck fumes. Car fumes. This is why we never sit on the patio. The original D'Agostino's Pizza restaurant dates back to 1968. It is located a few short miles from Wrigleyville (Wrigley Field - Home of the Chicago Cubs) neighborhood at Addison and Southport. My parents used to take us to the "original" D'Agostino's when we were in the first or second grade. We went for many years. I also prefer the Chicago location, because it has a lot more diversity. However, when a family-owned restaurant starts to open up other restaurants, it just isn't the same. Quality and customer service sometimes suffers. Their Chicago location is 100 times better than this location. FINAL RATING is 3-stars, because the parking lot is small and fills up quickly, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening, their outdoor patio faces the parking lot and customer service is not fantastic. We usually park on the side street to avoid the small crazy-crowded parking lot. This is a family-friendly restaurant, but you will not find a diverse crowd here. Their Mobile ordering service is worthy of five stars, because it makes ordering "on the go" a lot more convenient. All you need to do is go to their website and order from your phone. It's easy. It's quick.

Two girlfriends and I dined here last early evening. There were lots of open tables, and we had a nice one near the back. Two of us were a little early, and we ordered vodka drinks. I asked if they had blue cheese stuffed olives, and our very nice blond server (I did not catch her name) offered to stuff some for me. Great Service! We ordered simply - a full Greek salad and a large cheese and sausage pizza. Everything was great - especially the hot, brown on the top and very thin crust pizza. So delicious. And our server was so great - with timely check-ins at our table, and smiling the whole time. We had a terrific time, and a wonderful, fun meal.

Eww worst pizza I've had in my entire life, the sauce was gross and watery and really sugary sweet, the 'pizza' was sunken in and cold. I will never return and never let anybody I know eat here. Don't get the meatballs.

  • Julia L.

We ordered pizza from here one Friday night for carry-out. We got a large, thin crust, Dag's Special with cheese, sausage, onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. The pizza was just bland. The sauce was not very flavorful, and the worst part is that it was hot, but soggy :( Now, we live about 5 minutes away from the place, and I'm so disappointed that the thin crust was not good, because I could have imagined myself ordering from here A LOT. Now that I think of it, I used to order the deep dish from the Wrigleyville location when I lived out that way, and I though it was pretty good. I might give Dag's in Park Ridge another shot with their deep dish...

We stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner but had to catch a flight, and needed it fast. I had to call the waiter over who didn't seem to notice us sitting there for a few minutes, even though there were only about 5 tables seated total. Once I got his attention he was right on it, he got us our greek salad and small cheese pizza quickly. The pizza was average at best --- paper thin, sweet sauce, cheese wasn't real salty.. it hit the spot for what we needed. We were in and out in about 40 minutes.

Amazingly delicious pizza. Suggest a thin crust veggie specialty pizza with minced garlic, mushrooms, artichokes, and feta.

Ok service and pizza. The Wednesday pizza lunch special is ok, but nothing great. The hostesses have always been super nice to us. Although the food isn't great, I did find everything to be very clean, which is super important to me personally. Overall this is a good lunch spot, but not anything I would brag about.

Well no pizza tonite which is my favorite, but try the hamburgers! Unexpectedly delicious! My cheddar bacon had these two slabs of applewood bacon to die for. Juicy burger on nice buttery brioche bun. Crisp but tender sweet potato fries. Sis had the Brie cheese and mushroom burger which she enjoyed as well. I did though, take two slices of sausage pizza home. Still nothing compares to their made to order thin crust pizza, but I had to settle for that. Oh well..another time. But burgers were amazing!

Tried this place for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Actually, it was just this past weekend. This place has a lot of character, and I really like the toy trains circling above by the ceiling. Unfortunately, the food sucks. The "jumbo wings" are no where near jumbo, but the prices worked out to be $1/piece. The hot buffalo had no kick to it, and the ranch sauce was watery. Hooters across the street has better wings, and I hate the wings at Hooters. We also had a thin crust pepperoni pizza, which was just okay at best. I guess it's better than Little Cesar's, but that's not saying much. I didn't care for the sugary-sweet tomato sauce. All in all, disappointing experience. I feel like the food is food geared towards kids with the bill geared towards parents who want a beer or cocktail to numb their taste buds.

I''ve always walked past the other locations and wanted to try them. I was excited because Belly was offering a free slice of thin crust and a drink. My friends and I decided to check it out on Friday night. The offer said we needed to dine in, which then turned out to be false. None of the waitstaff was aware of the offer from Belly, what the Belly card was, or how to work the IPad which scans the Belly card. They just kept saying "I don't know what that is." instead of saying "let me check with my manager. I think the management needs to train the staff better on how to handle customer requests and the fact that they are a participating Bellycard business. When we finally got out enormous slice of pizza, I was not that impressed-I think the sauce was just overly sweet for me. Just based on the pizza alone, I don't think I would return because I didn't care for the sauce too much.

I am very disappointed in my D'ag experience at the Park Ridge location. Recently moving from Lakeview where the D'ag was my go to pizza, I was so excited to see one not so far away from my new home on the northwest side. While realizing that this D'ag, might not service our delivery area...I called and to my great excitement was told they did. Once friends arrived, I called back to place the order...giving the same address that I had given to check the delivery area. Order placed and told it would be about an hour. 30 minutes later, I received a call to say that - nope we are out of the delivery area. I asked if the pizza was being made - thinking I could send my husband to pick it up. She informed me that they "stopped the order". So now, its 8:15pm waiting for a pizza that should have arrived in 30 minutes but now have to start all over again elsewhere. Why wait 30 minutes to tell me this? Why not call me first before canceling my pizza order? Disappointed in the D'ag. Thank you Chicago's Pizza for being great, fast and in my delivery area - we are sure to see you again!

Dags is a decent enough bar and grill. The food is hot and fresh and they give you a lot for what you pay for. I can see why others are complaining and I do agree there are definitely things that can be improved at Dags, but it was clean and our orders had no issues so I would go back. This place could be much better, but the food and the menu where it stands are pretty good.

We have ordered from her many times. This is the third time the pizza has arrived cold. It's the kind of pizza that you reheat the next day and you didn't get it hot enough... Hard cheese. When we called to inform them that this is the third time in a row, a woman answered the phone. We said, hi we ordered a pizza a little over an hour ago. Before we could even continue what we were saying, she quickly said, oh it's on the way. We knew at that point she could care less what we had to say. When we did get the chance to tell her, she did offer to give us another pizza. We declined, as we were hungry and figured it would take just as long and probably not be much better. Thankfully the salad was great! Three strikes you're out... We will not be ordering from here again.

This is a semi new location from the original in Wrigleyville. They've successfully got the taste into the north burbs with a comfortable setting. Plenty of room for a small crowd, outdoor seating and a decent bar. They also have a lunch special as well. Check the place out!

I recently had my baby's 1st birthday party at D'Agostinos. We reserved the indoor/outdoor patio area. The space is perfect for any type of weather, they can open the windows on a nice day, it's heated for those cold winter days or they can even crank the air on a hot day. I must admit, I am a bit of a monster when it comes to planning parties. The team at D'Agostino's was AMAZING. They catered to my every need with a smile. The manager Courtney was so helpful and friendly. She took care of everything, to helping me chose the perfect menu to labeling the carafe's of Sangria and table linens. She even assisted the servers during the party. Our head server, Ashley was such a sweetheart. She worked so hard but it seemed as though she was happy to do it. My guests were never sitting without a drink or a dirty plate in front of them. When I arrived at the party, one of the bus boys helped me unload a ton of things from my car and throughout the party he would check with me to be sure that I was happy and to bring us anything we needed. -Seriously, when does that ever happen? I chose the "kids make their own pizza" party. What a great idea!! The team at dags had a special table set up for the kids, with chef's hats and aprons. They even put crayons as well as cheese and crackers in front of each of their seats. The kids were able to decorate their own chef hats and make their own personal sized pizza. It was a huge hit! They had the kids entertained the entire time, and there were over 25 of them! While the kids were making pizza the team was serving the adults appetizers and salads..The BBQ meatballs were delicious -and their specialty salads were loaded with all types of fresh ingredients. Once the kids' pizzas were cooked the entire party was served. (D'Agostinos pizza has always been one of my favorites, love the thin crust.) I can honestly tell you there was never a lull, they smoothly transitioned our party from appetizers to salads then to pizza and finally dessert. I even received phone calls the next day from family members who all commented on the outstanding food and remarkable service. That's when you know your party is a success. If you are considering a party at DAGS in Park Ridge, I would highly recommend! You and your guests will not be disappointed!

I live in the area and have been going to Daggs since they opened. I have read some of the reviews that were negative, but I have not had the same experience. The food has always been good, service has always been good, and the atmosphere has always been friendly and energetic. Love the thin crust!

This is our Sunday go to lunch spot pretty much every single week! Pizza is really good, I like the personal thin Greek, it's so good! My husband is in love with their Broasted Chicken, he always gets it every single time!

Came here on Mother's Day after visiting the cemetery. It was about 3:30 p.m., after the brunch time they had had that day. Waitress said the broasted chicken was super good, so I ordered that. It took quite awhile for the food to come, and the chicken breast was really dry. Had also ordered a pizza, which was supposed to come WITH our meal. It didn't come...it didn't come....it didn't come. When it finally arrived, after we had eaten our meal, it was all black on the bottom! Seriously burned. We were not happy. Won't return to this location.

Dags is over rated and spent my last dollar there this evening. There is no quality control because it seems like every other order gets screwed up. Pizza is too greasy, salads too expensive, menu is diverse but food is average at best. Nothing stands out and don't get why the place is always busy. Head North to Edison Park and find five places better.

One of my best friends and I came here for lunch earlier this week. I've always passed this place by but this was our first time coming in. We were immediately seated and were happy to find out they had a Pizza Buffet special (for something marginal like $9), but just on Mondays and Tuesdays! This includes: choice of soup (cheddar broccoli was my choice - a little thin but was still devoured), free grazing of the salad bar - looks like a small bar but plenty of options, delicious garlic bread, and pizza! I took one slice of the pepperoni and one slice of the pineapple/ham. I think I preferred the latter most, and the crust was thin and crispy - just how I like it. Drinks were a couple bucks each. Our server was a complete delight and was on top of things re: plates, refills. It did take a bit for our check to get picked up but not a major problem. I absolutely this is a great deal for lunch. I think they'll be seeing a lot of us at the start of the week from now on! PS - They've got a fun little train set that circles the perimeter of the ceiling.

4-stars for phenom customer service today!! The kitchen accidentally added red onions to our BBQ pizza when we asked to leave them off. She offered to make us a new one and we declined due to starvation. When the bill came, she was kind enough to remove our entire order of pizza! AWESOME. Side Note on the Pizza :: Eh. Not that great. There was an overkill of cheese and grease. We also split the veggie wrap - which I would definitely recommend! Thanks Dags! Your customer service will keep me comin' around!

I passed by this place alot...this was my first time here, and it is a nice place. I liked the model trains. :) I have given this place a 3, because it kinda felt, to me at least, that some people didn't seem too be enthused I walked in there. I understand it was close to closing, (I walked in there close to 10) The one guy that walked up to me, for example, I asked if take out was here or the other side, which didn't look like anyone was there at all. "Yeah over there." He said. I walked over there and it was about 10 mins later I had to wlak back to the bar section to say no one was there. So another person finally came to the take out section and I asked her a couple of prices, which she didn't remember off the top of her head. She was very nice, but she seemed alittle rushed. And I say this because when the order was finally ready (the order was 2 slices of the deep pan sausage pizza, which was already sitting there, and a half order of mostacholli.) it didn't have utensils, napkins, or the oregano I asked to to sprinkle ontop of the slices. She was very friendly, but it just seemed to me she wanted to get back to closing up to get out of there or finish her paper work in the back. While I was waiting for the order I looked around. Place was clean, tables orderly; people were at the bar and there was a family and 2 couples at the tables sitting there. The thin sliced pizza is like...really thin. (Not that it is bad) I just never seen THAT thin looking pizza. And they seemed to have a good time there. I took pictures which I posted to this profile as well. (There are even crayons and stuff for kids to draw on to keep them busy. It seems a nice place for a family outing.) When I got home, I had to say wow, the mostacholli order was pretty big, I also included meatballs in the order. Now I don't know if they make thier own meatballs, but those were kinda, eh. The sauce was sweet and rich. Now the pizza, with which they gave meat sauce was really rich; I could only eat the one slice. The minestrone soup that was a side was really tasty; I kinda wish I had ordered that. I may want to return during the day to give this place another try.

I don't understand pizza where the toppings ordered are UNDER a mound of cheese. I want my "toppings" on top - so that the pepperoni can curl up on the edges. ...At D'Agostino's the toppings get buried under too much cheese. ...You can choose from thin or thick "Chicago style" pizza, and they also have a wide variety of Italian entrees. ...I ordered a personal pizza, thin crust, and I could only eat two pieces, it was so heavy. ...The service was sketchy too. ...Bonus for having Mountain Dew!

Went to this restaurant on Thursday, not very busy, do they sat me and my companion. Server came over have us menus, asked us for our drink orders and we waited for 30 minutes for her to come take our order and she never came back. When I looked all the servers were standing around chatting. Needless to say I walked out, never to return. Can't tell you anything about the food, since I never made it that far.

I hate giving bad reviews because I know how hard it is to work in a restaurant but my experience at this restaurant was so bad - mostly because of the service. Not only did our server have a condescending demeanor but she was so unprofessional. We ordered the Veggie and Meat Lover's pizza along with two other pizzas and two appetizers. She came back five minutes later and asked what kind of veggies and meat we wanted on the pizzas...I was a little confused - what she was doing for that five minute period beforehand and why didn't she ask us when she took our orders? That honestly didn't annoy me as much as the attitude that she gave us when we asked her to clarify. The best part was when she was taking our order and we changed up the pizza sizes based on her recommendation, she rolled her eyes slightly and (without even trying to be subtle or nice) furiously scribbled the original order as if we wasted 5 seconds of her time and her paper. She didn't check up on our food until we were done eating and needed boxes - which the bus boy brought instead of her because she was too busy standing in the kitchen area. Then when she brought the check, she came back five minutes later with a new check which had and 18% gratuity added to it saying that the manager added the gratuity and that the first check was wrong. We had 7 guests at our table. I understand that some restaurants add gratuity based on party size but it was so unprofessional for her to hand us one without gratuity and then come back with a new one. If you read this review from the beginning, you'd obviously know that I would not have given her 18& if it were my choice. To top it off, after waiting forever for her to pick up our payment, my sister had to get up and find the server. I spoke with the manager and he was nice enough to offer dessert and said he appreciated the feedback but we honestly didn't want to stick around to experience even more bad service.

So I've been to D'Agostino's in the city, and just didn't get the same vibe off this one... but I attribute that to the fact that I was heavily intoxicated at the one in the city as opposed to this one, where I chose to dine with my husband and 3 little ones. Stopped in on a Friday night, so it was a bit full, especially in the normal dining room, and we got seated on the heated, enclosed patio area. It was a bit warm out there, with the space heaters, but otherwise okay. Food... hmph... it was okay. I guess we should have stuck to what we knew though, and had pizza. Hubby had stuffed peppers that were okay.. .but he wasn't impressed. I had the grilled chicken which was large in portion but average in taste. Kids had pizza, because you can't go wrong with pizza for kids. Now while we were eating we saw that the table closest to us had ordered a family order of pasta, which entitled them all to salads and then family style/size bowl of pasta (HUGE!). We might try that the next time because it was very cost effective and looked as though everyone enjoyed their meal.

When my friends and I are in town for ACEN, we often order out from this pizza joint. Somehow, even with tens of thousands of nerds and geeks descending upon Rosemont for a weekend Dags still manages to have relatively quick delivery times, and the food has always been really good. We've ordered deep dish pizza, thin crust, and burgers and all have been great! We'll continue to order from here!

Tonight was my first time here and I'll definitely be back. I really liked the pizza, but the menu had so many good looking options. There seemed to be an open air area to sit. it was a tent with windows that open. I'm not sure if that's how it stays all summer or if they take the entire tent down. This location has a bar, TVs, and an overhead track with a little train... I'm sure the kids will love that.

I went there for lunch and had the Caesar salad with a cup of soup. The soup of the day was creamy tomato spinach soup which was delicious. The Caesar salad was nothing special but good. There is a raised train that goes the eating area that I was sitting at which was pretty fun and kids would probably enjoy. I didn't try the pizza and I see a lot of other Yelpers are raving about the pizza. Maybe next I will try it next time!

terrible food and terrible service ! my entire order was terrible and i spent a lot of money on my order and all they could credit me was a couple dollars. I do not recommend eating here. Usually they have great thin crust pizza, but tonight we decided to try other items. The jalapeno poppers and cheese sticks were great. The side of meatballs were good also. The chicken parmesan was AWFUL. Very very dry pieces of chicken, almost like cardboard with no flavor or seasoning to it. The pasta and meat sauce gave a little flavor, but we ended up throwing out the chicken because it was just too dang dry. I will stick to pizza and appetizers if I ever visit this location again.

For having a reasonably good location, this place just lacks. Here is my list of negatives: - Pizza seems to have a premade icky crust. Think something like boboli, but without the chance to be good... and it would still be better than the stuff served here. - Restaurant is somewhat cramped and can be very loud. Background radio, TVs blaring, plus other diners make this place hard on the ears. - Food came out cold. - Server seemed like she couldn't be bothered to check on my table. Overall, I wouldn't recommend at this time.

I've been to Dags quite a few times and became a member of their monthly text alert club for monthly deals. Unfortunately, one bad visit in a restaurant could completely ruin a place for you. I had attended the restaurant awhile back with some family for the lunch pizza buffet during the summer. A big pet peeve of mine is when restaurant staff improperly take place in issues regarding sanitary conditions in the restaurant. While attending the buffet one of the bus staff had dropped some silverware while setting a table. Instead of returning to the kitchen to wash the silverware he had dropped he instead placed the dirty silverware on the table and continued plating the table. To clean the tabletop pizza heater a staff member used a strong smelling window cleaning chemical to clean the inside and outside of the heater. Please note that this is all while pizza is inside the pizza heater. There is no way that any of this chemical did not touch and infect the food. Regarding the actual pizza, normally when served fresh it's great. When it's in a pizza heater sitting in a dining room for hours without anybody switching it properly? It's absolutely disgusting. Service was rather good in this sitting, but overall the quality just made me never want to visit the restaurant again.

This was my 2nd experience with this D'Agostinos at this location. 1st time eating in. We had a great time. Our waitress was terrific. Nice bar with screens for the games. I had the calazone and it was out of this world! The pastry was unbelievable light and fluffy and the sauce was tangy and delicious. I ate the whole thing. Even though it's a pub, I would recommend it for families. If you're looking for fine dining, this is not your place. Family joint. Love that sauce!

Had a horrible experience using their on-line ordering. I placed my order at 6:30pm. Estimated pick-up was 6:50pm. I get there at around 6:48pm. I'm then informed that my order was processed "a little late because we're training a new girl. Sorry. Your food should be ready in about 8 mins." Hey no biggie. Mistakes happen..... 25 minutes later I get my order. And when I look at receipt, low and behold, the order was put in at 6:50pm! WTF! No attempt to make up for their obvious mistake and lie on top of it. Not a coupon, not a discount, not a free anything..... So, in conclusion: Piss poor customer service for bland mediocre food. The only reason I ever go here is cuz my 5 year old likes the food. But, hey, she's five..... I guess my five year old will have to settle for something else from now on. Will never be going back here.

One of my favorite thin crust pizzas, but you have to appreciate your sauce on the sweet side. My go-to weekday lunch meal is their bar-b-que chicken salad. Get it in half or full size. Delicious!

Terrible delivery service. One hour and 40 minutes later, our meal arrived. Luke warm at best. Soggy fries that were not worth eating...even the sweet potato fries that we paid extra for. Chewy burger. No toppings as ordered. Will not order from them again! Too many good places around here to waste the time and money ordering here.

  • Melissa N.

I ordered takeout from this place a few times. The pizza is mediocre and the pasta is kind of rubbery. However, all that pales in comparison to the customer service, which is GOD-AWFUL. We will never, EVER order from this place again because they always, ALWAYS screw up our order. Then, when we call to complain, they act like it's somehow OUR fault! The last time this occurred, they forgot to include one item in our order. We called to complain. They were all like, "Well, what do you want us to do about it?" Um, how about bring us the freaking food we paid for?! So they brought the missing item (40 minutes later...keep in mind they are only a five-minute drive from our house). We opened the container and they brought the wrong item. So we called again and complained. They swore they brought what we had ordered. We argued with them for like 10 minutes, and then they finally agreed to send someone over with the correct item. Another 45 minutes go buy, and the delivery guy brings us another container. We open it and...are you ready for this? STILL THE WRONG ITEM!!! So we call the restaurant, furious, and the woman on the phone is horrible to us, so we ask to speak to the manager, and we hear the manager in the background screaming and cursing about US! Then he gets on the phone and continues screaming and swearing at us. What the heck is up with that?! Stay away from this horrible restaurant!!!

Went here on a work lunch today. I had the half salad and soup combo. They were both good, nothing outstanding. The soup (minestrone) tasted a bit industrial but not inedible. The salad had good ingredients and wasn't smothered in dressing, which was good. The pizza that my coworker ordered was the best part! Sweet sauce and great sausage. Just a good solid place for lunch or dinner!

Fantastic penne pasta with tomato basil sauce! Great enclosed outdoor area! We went on a Thursday night, and there were many families there with children. If this doesn't bother you, you'll enjoy it. The service was good, and the food was very good. I will definitely go back to try some other dishes.

I met my friends with two kids here for an early lunch. The restaurant was fairly new and I wasn't particularly interested in eating in this pizzeria/bar as I'm rarely interested in bar food. We ordered a large pizza with green peppers and onions for $15 and a full tuscan salad for $9.50. The salad was pretty good - I enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, peppers and pine nuts. Didn't care for the goat cheese or the oily dressing. The pizza was pretty standard. We got a thin crust and it didn't have many veggies on it nor did the sauce have much taste. It was pretty much like a generic pizza you could find anywhere else. The service was excellent. Not sure if it was because the joint was empty but they really accommodated my friends' various requests for odd kid things like a cup then bowl of hot water, a boiled side of broccoli in a bowl, kid's seats, crayons, etc. Their overhead trains also kept the lil' tykes amused for a while too. Go here for the service, not the food.

Kid friendly yes..I would say ther are choo choo trains on the ceiling which my 2 year old just loved! We had ll the specials on the menu and the were delish! Thin crust pizza was nice and crispy Hot wing my son loved (little to crispy for me). Free snow cones on your way out priceless!! Overall I will be back!

Went here for lunch a few times and took my family there twice for dinner. the kids love the free snowcones and the trains. I get to catch a game or the news while the tv's are playing and they serve alcohol, with good deals most of the time, and the pizza is amazing. We always have a blast here. It's never expensive either. Definitely worth what you pay.

We just so happened to come here on half priced pizza night. I have to say that their thin crust is mighty tasty. Our service was good and we had seating on the patio. I don't have much more to say about the place, but it was clean and affordable. I will be back next time I'm at our Rosemont office.

Very good. The pizza is solid. The mini burgers and nacho's are out of this world. I order delivery from here and it's great. Yelp should have an option to turn off reviews from vegetarians. I notice that those people are often whiny, picky, and have really nothing to say that I care about. "The waitress ignored me" SNIVEL. Give me a break and order MEAT on your pizza you precious little thing. It seems that almost every time I read a review like that it's some veggie.

This is going to be my new spot. I just enjoy the atmosphere here. Not too fancy but not drabby either, just a casual spot to eat great wings and pizza. Their thin crust is above par, but I have yet to taste their deep dish. They also have wings! And the way I enjoy them is that we order them unsauced and ask for all their sauces on the side thus indulging on all the flavors they have to offer. I want to go here just to catch a NCAA game and enjoy some beer.

I stayed at the Springhill Suites kitty corner from this place; my last night there. I had a 12" pepperoni to-go. $13.04 with tax. I'm sure I got there close to closing time but, I gave exact change and a tip so there was no love lost. If I'm back in the area I'd like to give their mini burgers and salad - looked good with the people enjoying them at the bar... Oh, and they had free, DIY sno-cones while you waited. Nice touch although I didn't partake.

Disclaimer:::::Puerto Rican's eat LOTS of pork! I am Puerto Rican and am VERY picky of how my pork tastes. I had the Pulled Pork Sanwich and it was SO savory! There was no fat anywhere and the amount of pork in the sanwich is perfect. Not too much to be super messy but also not too little to leave you wanting more. The sauce is deliciously tangy with the right amount of sweet. And I LOVED how it came with pickels, tomatoes and lettuce on the side. Their waffle fries are big and they give a generous amount of them. The minestrone was bland, there wasn't much to it. There was more liquid than anything else. Service is so-so. It was slow and having to repeat the order twice is a little annoying. The "Make your own snowcone" is a cute touch and train above the tables is entertaining! I'll be back for the burgers for sure! They look FINGER-LICKING good!

I hate to do this but this place is going downhill on there customer service. The food is still good. To me it seems that if you come in with more than 4 people they want to stick you in the back of the place which I understand as there is more room. After that you are a forgotten soul. Different staff members came by and we never knew who our server was. When we placed a food or drink order we were not sure who was bringing it back and then that person had no clue who was getting what. The same with the food. We ordered appetizers ahead of the food and about 3/4 the way through the food came.... A no no in my book. The wait staff should time the food better. The acoustics in the back is not good so conversation is like yelling in a bar on a busy Friday night. I hope you guys at D'Agostinos read this and try to improve. The service we received did impact the tip that was left.

My dad took my husband and I out for dinner here one night. It is nicely decorated, with a comfortable, relaxed sports bar/pub feel. In the warm weather, there is a covered outdoor eating area, and a nice bar inside. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports, and the service is quick and friendly. We all had sandwiches- my dad the Italian beef, my husband and I both had grinders. I had the Italian, which was very good, though fairly oily. The fries were great- nicely seasoned. I would return, next time to try the pizza!

Um. The crust? It tasted like I had a rock or hard pieces in my mouth. I actually had to make sure it wasn't somebody's earring that fell or something. No it turned out to be the crust. Pre-made? Disappointing. Tomato sauce & cheese... eh. The server was nice but he actually didn't come to our table until about ten minutes after arrival (my stomach was growling). The environment was comfortable and there was a balloon guy to kids' delight. Unfortunately, the family wasn't "wow" by the taste of pizza (there was no "yum!") but we happened to be in the area and we were starved. Next time, I prefer to try a different pizza restaurant.

I decided to check this place out spur of the moment on a Friday night. I sat at the bar waiting for a few friends to arrive. If there is room, sit at the bar. I did not have to wait to be seated and the service was attentive. I really enjoyed the pizza. I will be going back soon to try some of the other things on the menu!

I don't know why, but the pizza here is really, REALLY good. I normally get it delivered, and it always arrives hot and in a timely fashion. I'm a big fan of their Hawaiian pizza. My cousins and I came here for late lunch one day, and just caught the end of the lunchtime buffet. I think that's probably the best deal in the place. The buffet isn't all THAT impressive, just salad, soup, and pizza, but they have about 4 kinds of pizza at once and they bring out replacements pretty fast. I would say maybe half of the people eating there were having the buffet. I'd definitely recommend the buffet for dining in, if it's available.

Had a large, thin pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms delivered. I've gotta say, being born and raised in Chicago, and tried pizza in east and west coasts, this was absolutely the worst pizza that I've ever had. When I opened the pizza box, the pizza was a mess. The cheese was clumped in the middle, and was a challenge to chew - choked a few times! Hardly any pepperoni on the pizza, the crust was soggy, and air pockets all over the pizza. It was like eating a "pizza salad" - sloppy. We called the restaurant and they were kind enough to give us a credit.

Family restaurant, great food, many meals available with size of order option. This is not a high end kind of place, but great food, and friendly staff make it a great place to grab pizza and a beer. They're sauce is the sweet side of marinaras, and we'll be back post-lent to try meat sauces & meat lasagne!!

On a Friday night about 7p I expected this place to be crazy busy. The parking lot was full but as we pulled up I found a spot. I pulled in thru the alley and a family was standing in the spot waiting for their daddy to pull in. SEARIOUSLY? Fortunately we hit the ending of the rush because two more cars pulled out of the lot which was a good thing because my husband was already huffing about not waiting a 1/2 hour for a table. We walked in and were stating out on the covered patio right away. We were a crabby bunch but the appetizers came quickly to tame our inner animals. The food was your average pizza, salad, pasta, and burgers. I was ecstatic to find out they had panzerotti on the menu, I had Sweet Italian Sausage and Artichoke Hearts with Mozzarella Cheese. My kids were even more delighted to find mini-corndogs on the kids menu. The food was very good but the waiter was a bit overwhelmed with his other tables so we didn't get his full attention. Luckily we always get great service from the busboys, so we didn't stress. At the end of the meal, the kids got free Snow Cones. I should have gotten one too, but next time.

"Meh" is right. I don't know what particularly turned me off to this place, but every time I pass it I sneer at it with disdain. Mayhaps my mistake was not trying the pizza- after all, it IS a pizza place, isn't it? The food I did get (a wrap of some sort the first time, something forgettable the next) was strange and overpriced for the quality. In the case of the wrap, I expected a tasty buffalo chicken wrap with ranch and bacon-- easy, right? Nope. Somebody dropped the ball and crammed bbq chicken, soggy lettuce, and too much ranch in a loosely-wrapped tortilla. Perhaps forgetting that it belonged in the wrap, the creator decided to sprinkle a few baco bits on top and send the abomination on its way. The food was bad and took forever to come out. Our waitress made it up to us by telling us to order dessert, which we didnt really want (plus there were three of us-- all dudes with mighty appetites-- and we were given one small sundae to split. Forget that!). The service was crappy. Just crappy. When I first visited D'Agostinos, it was right around the grand opening, so I forgave the long wait to be seated and the long wait to be visited by a server and the long wait for food; however, when I returned and found myself waiting 15 minutes in a nearly empty section for service (which only came when someone timidly approached and asked "Uh...did anyone help you yet, or....?"), I said NEVER AGAIN! Maybe the pizza is decent. Maybe I visited on an off day when the A-team of servers and cooks was out sick or angry or something-- I don't know for sure what the problem was, but I'll never go back. P.S.- crappy parking set-up, and no "theme" to the place as a whole but there's a train running around the ceiling. Oh, ok....

My experience at this restaurant was outstanding! Our server was so friendly and personable! She knew the menu very well & her recommendations were spot on! We ordered a lg pizza & a full dags hot salad, both were delicious! also the running train above is just an added bonus for a family restaurant! I will definitely be returning to D 'Agostinos!!

Went in for dinner last night on Family night to celebrate my nephews birthday and I didn't know what to expect since there seems to be widely mixed reviews. First of all for a chain restaurant I was impressed. It wasnt nearly as busy as I expected it to be which was also kinda nice because we were promptly seated. Loved watching the train and it's also a very nice distraction for the kiddos. Smarty pants was there making his amazing balloon creations and I admit that was one of the deciding factors of why we chose to go. My brother had seen him work another childs party and had gotten his card with the info that he works the family night at D'Agostinos. Now onto the food and service. Our server was great, very attentive and food came out hot and quick, which you know is important when dining with small children. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was delicious The batter was perfectly light and crisp not greasy and the calamari was cooked perfect not chewy or undercooked at all. We also got the family night special which which is an 18" pizza with one topping, 4 breadsticks and a large dinner salad to share. That was just perfect for our table 4 adults and a toddler. I loved the cracker thin crust pizza, good sausage, cheese and yes the sauce is a little bit on the sweet side but still very tasty. Overall a fun, casual place that I would definately return to.

Location location location! This place is great for people who are just leaving the Cubs game and don't want any part of crazy Wrigleyville. I will say that I've been there multiple times when I lived walking distance but the pizza there would by no mean be included on my list of meals to eat before I die. It's not terrible but I have a love affair with Lou Malnati's and that's the only time I crave pizza now. I will say it's a great place to take out of towners. My lil sister loved the late night service window, by the slice pizza options. She still talks about it actually. Great place and great patio, however I will only go if I'm in the area and want to grab a drink after the game.

Today I was with a group of 8 friends for lunch. We were all very happy with our salads and pizzas. What I want to let people know is that I had miss placed my keys and became very concerned. Our server Laura along with the manager and the entire staff tore that restaurant apart to help find them. They did show up and all ended well. Thank you again to D'Agostino's for helping the panicked lady without her keys.

Decent pizza with a crispy cracker like crust. However my salad tasted like the entire thing had been microwaved and was one of the most pathetic examples of an entree salad I have seen in a long time. Service was slow and the place was over- run with children allowed to run wild and doing rather unhygienic things. I might order the pizza delivered again but I would skip the restaurant itself.

Very disappointed in service. We were seated after a party that arrived after us. Our waitress showed up for drink orders and appetizers, then disappeared until after entrées arrived. I asked for my salad to be sent with pizza, and that was ignored. Came early and was watery. Big party seated near us, and it was clear that was their priority. Goodbye Dagostinos....and we were good customers.

Love love love their Fire Roasted Veggie and Mozzarella Wrap!!! I eat here at least once a week during lunch and I always order this wrap! They give you a generous portion of mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, lettuce and mozzarella cheese all wrapped up in a healthy spinach wrap. The only suggestion I have is giving you healthier options for sides...maybe a small salad rather than french fries or tator tots.

The food's good. Not spectacular, but nothing to complain about. The two times I've had a salad entree, they were *great.* However... I dine out ALL the time. Most of the time, I'm alone. I don't remember this ever being a problem before. Here, though, they wouldn't seat me until a table for two opened up. At least 4 groups of 3 or more got seated before I did. After 20 minutes of waiting, I gave up. The other times I've been there, I've been with at least one other person. It's SO close to my house that I'm sure I'll try again, but if this seems to be their policy for seating solo diners, I'm going to have to give it up. I hope it was just some kind of mistake tonight.

Love the extra thin pizza and the Greek salad. Great kids menu and family spot. I have read the reviews on the service and I swear we must have all had this one waitress... Every time we walked in and saw her narly inept face, I knew we were in for an irritating experience. Great news though, she must have gotten fired... Haven't seen her! Give it a shot.

Delivery. Pizza was cold so obviously they were busy. Sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. Sausage was spicy but liked that.

Nice looking place decor wise and it has a pretty large beer garden. However service was awful. I was seated promptly, it took 10mins to get our drink order (water and diet coke) after that I sat for 25mins with no waitress contact. I had to get up and ask what the deal was with our appetizer. After we got the appetizer like 5 mins later we sat for another 20 mins with no waitress contact. Finally I had a enough got up and told the hostess I was leaving and what did I owe for a diet coke and app. They then sent over a manager to find out the problem and apologized. Needless to say I will NOT be back. The place wasn't even busy when we were there and there were at least 20 employees walking around. Too bad the service sucked as it had a pretty nice atmosphere.

We've ordered from here a few times, and the pizza has been good each time. The delivery was within the time cited when I ordered and was always hot. Still trying to find a place that is as good as what I was used to on the south side, but until we find that this has become our favorite place for pizza up north.

Decent food, freindly service. Definitely a family restaurant. The wings are pretty good, but the pizza is only OK.

Been here at least five times. Three stars would be the overall average. Five stars for being kid friendly. Three stars on the food. Decent pizza and sandwiches, bad soups. One to two stars for the service. Some servers there are terrible. The bus boys do so much more than the servers. The one thing the servers always remember is to charge 18% if you have six or more people.

I was excited to have a D'Agostino's open near me, so I placed my first order last night. Boy, was that a train wreck. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, 2L of Diet Coke, and had a coupon for free mozzarella sticks. When I received my delivery, the delivery man had a regular Coke in his hand, and when I noted that I had ordered Diet, his response was, "That's what the receipt says; I'm just the delivery guy." So I called to complain. Though the manager credited my account for a 2L, I should have waited to call until I tasted the rest of my food first. The mozzarella sticks were over-cooked to the point where half of them had no cheese left in them (the rest had each leaked some amount of cheese), and having been delivered in a sealed plastic container, they steamed the ever-loving crap out of themselves to the point where they were entirely rubbery. On to the pizza, I guess. Which was cold. Not an iota of warmth in the box (nor any sign it had ever been warm). And way to skimp on the pepperoni (one slice of 'roni per slice of pizza). Half of the pizza had sauce and cheese hanging over the crust, which had burned (and ruined the crust on that side). Beyond disappointing. I don't know if this is a grand opening issue, but I'm not really sure I'd care to figure out if that's the case. I tried to call back last night to complain further, but the phone was busy for 10 minutes straight, so I gave up. If management wants to get in touch with me, my order was #0205.

My family visited this place during their grand opening weeks and we were sold. We have gone there a total of 7 time since then. The first 3 were awesome experiences and the remaining 4 have been dismal. Horrible service, food is cold or just bad. The pizza crust taste like you are eating a saltine cracker with cheese and sauce on it. Bleeeek! We go to their other locations and love the food. The Addison and Ogden Ave locations offer much better food. This has a nice environment , however, I suggest sticking to those locations.

Gave lunch pizza buffet a try. Salad bar and thin crust pizza, with a soup available as well. I'd say it's a slight step up in quality from a chain like Cici's, but nothing amazing. 11.55 out the door with a drink.

The place is awesome. Used to go to the 1 on Southport all the time. I was very excited to see it open up in this location since I have moved from the city. Their thin crust pizza is my favorite. I would hate to have to deal with a person who wrote a review like Beth G on here. Sounds like a major nightmare for anyone to deal with.

Ive eaten here twice and ordered for delivery twice. I'd say that the dining in experiences have been better than the delivery but no serious complaints about the delivery. The pizza is good thin crust pizza . The most notable quality to me of a DAGS pizza is the thinness of the crust and the sweetness of the sauce. I've found that they're not as liberal with the toppings as other pizza joints I like, but Dags puts out a decent pie. I have to say I like they're Chicken cordon bleu grinder. This is a baked sub with canadian bacon ,swiss cheese & honey mustard. Very tasty !

Really wanted to like this place. It looks nice and it's close to my house. Unfortunately, the food was pretty awful. The pizza sauce was sweet and gross and tasted like they poured a plain jar of tomato paste on the crust. The dinners were ok but everything seemed so salty. We brought leftovers home but even the kids didn't want any the next day and we ended up throwing it all away. There are plenty of great pizza places in Park Ridge so I don't see us fighting the tight parking lot to go back here.
