Great fried chicken! I filled up on their salad bar and the breast, thigh & most of my steak fries came home with me. The double baked potato soup was tempting, but I restrained myself. They had some great Sunday Specials. I had just had a Prime Rib sandwich this week and had contemplated the wings, but wanted to indulge with a half bird. Friendly service by Juan and the joint really started filling up for a good lunch crowd on a Sunday. They should really give you bottled water, well water is nasty here. Iced Tea tasted okay, probably made with the well water though. Bummed they won't share WiFi, (slows down their system?) as there's no Tmobile service around here. I couldn't get a data signal to get my best route home, we sure grow dependant on our devices.

Food was pretty delicious. I had the fried chicken and baked porato side of spag and ravs Wed special.the place is small but fills up fast. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful. If you dont come early you better make a reservation. What impressed me ALOT the male waiter helped an elderly lady make her salad very rare these days. Will definately go back.

Where is the 6 Star! Fresh Food! Nice people! Chicken to die for. Salad bar to bust the belly with old school salads. All meat is fresh not frozen. No I don't work here! Just a biker who fell upon this gem in the corn!

Went here tonight with my family. A dumpy looking place, but has character. Kind of an older crowd or townie drinkers. I ordered water with lemon and the water tasted like if a match were lit near by, it would set on fire... Yikes. Ordered an iced tea instead and it tasted fine. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and salad bar. Salad bar was fantastic! Every thing looked fresh. There's a house dressing that I really enjoyed. Salad bar comes with a soup of the day which I didn't try, but looked ok. I think it was cream of asparagus. The chicken parm came and it tasted great. I found a few bay leaves in the sauce which tells me it is made in house which is always a plus. Chicken was tender and the breading was delicious. Enjoyed my meal overall! Service was a bit slow, but I would definitely return.

We absolutely love this place but their reservation system is awful. Made reservations and was just called and said there was a mistake made and there was no room. We could have later reservations but in the bar. Too old and too fat to. Climb up on the seats. This is like the 3rd time this has happened and the last time we were able to eat there they asked our party to hurry up and finish so they could seat more people. And the kicker was all the girl could telll me that hopefully it will work out better the next time we make reservations . Really unlikely since i doubt if we will try again. Too bad goid place!!!

The prime rib is great! Love the salad bar too. There is always soup too, so you have no reason to not leave full. It is a out of the way local place but worth the trip. Juan is the entertainment with the meal too. I just have never had a bad meal here. Make a reservation if you can. The wait the have sometime can be a bit much.

This is a classic example of you can't judge a book by its cover. On the outside, Wedron Office doesn't look like much, however, if you enjoy great food at a great price, this is the place to go. Get there early to avoid the dinner crowd because the place is small and they have early bird specials for off peak hours. The salad bar is great and loaded with a variety of choices for those who don't want just a lettuce salad. It also includes soup and bread. This was enough of a meal in itself but for 50 cents more I got 4 pieces of fried chicken and fries. They had other choices for the potato side. The night I was there they had pudding shots for $1. A pudding shot didn't sound too good to me, but I changed my mind after trying one. Yum! I would suggest avoiding the water like another reviewer said.

From the outside The Wedron Office resembles a bar you might see on the dukes of hazard, the inside still has that look and feel to it as well. During the day the menu is your standard bar menu nothing special. If you find your self here in the evening I strongly suggest looking into the dinner specials, people come from far to have dinner out here and for good reason. A rustic country feel, with a friendly staff and a low cost sit down meal that is hard to beat.

Good food had a black n blue steak. salad bar was fresh and good. Went there with just me and my 16 month old asked if I had reservations I said no they were only two thirds full decided they would seat me by time I left they were only a third full. I think I would have felt more comfortable sitting at my ex wife's kitchen table eating. The waitress was about the most unpleasant I've ever had. kind of felt like I was a nuisance to them it has to be one of the worst eating experiences I ever had. Prefer if I pay 25 for a baby and I to eat to at least feel like they want you there. I couldn't Leave fast enough

They are known for their fried chicken. 1/2 dark for $7.95 with a salad bar and believe me, you won't be able to finish it. This is a very off the beaten path locals place just north of Ottawa. It should be noted, they almost require reservations between 5pm and 7pm as it's all locals who are there either having dinner or sitting at the bar drinking. This is my 2nd time here and you do come away feeling it's worth the drive and price. Staff was very attentive (I personally loved our server who was wearing shorts and cowboy boots) made sure water was filled, dirty plates removed from table and asking how things are. The menu is solid comfort food. One for those loving cheap beer, $1 drafts for Miler Lite.

Love this place. Everything is great, from the prime rib to the fried chicken to the burgers. And the salad bar is outstanding. Always had great food, drinks, and service!

They do not cheat you here at The Office. Juicy flavorful rib eyes and a fresh, delicious salad bar is what we usually go for. Come as you are, good for you if you own some camo and/or a mesh trucker hat, but it's ok to show up in business casual, too. After all, it is The Office.

i moved north of ottawa in Sept 2005. I road by this place on my Harley about 100 times then I heard someone talking about the food there. If you like Great homestyle cooking you will love this place. It isnt anything specail on the inside but a bar and cheat tables and chairs, but the food is great. The only complaint i have is they need to use salt and pepper when they cook and fry thier chicken and fish. The portions are excellent. Food is Yummy. Small salad bar packed with lots of good stuff. Traditional salad, assorted pasta, vegie, potato, salads to choice from. And as the previous poster said, the soup is good as gold. If you love country places to eat. This is a sure thing, And as wierd as it sounds.... reservations can be helpful here too.

Nice bar/restaurant out in the country. Standard Bar food, but very good quality. Burgers were great; made with fresh beef (not frozen). French fries were cooked properly. Waitress was friendly and even did fly swatter detail so there were no flies. That is something I haven't seen in a while. Good place overall.

Excellent food in a bar atmosphere. I advise to call for reservations as they have limited seating. Daily specials. Thursday BBQ ribs, Saturday prime rib to name a few. Salad bar and homemade soups as well. Open for lunch too!

My mom and I visited on a Monday - Taco night. Although small, the place is newly remodeled, clean and servers are friendly. Then, the tacos - awesome! Very reasonable, very good food. I liked it so much I went back with friends and one was blown away by the special that day - soft shell crab! She thought the sandwich was great and everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. I will be a regular at The Office.
