WOW! This was my first visit to a Cracker Barrel and will almost certainly be my last. Kitschy redneck would be the best way to describe the decor and bland, tasteless, plain, soft and grey would be the best way to describe the food. It was reminiscent of baby food in its consistency, edible by people with no teeth :) Next time we stop at Culvers!

This New Yorker had never been to a Cracker Barrel but had heard its legend, so I was so excited to find out our hotel was right behind it. We browsed around the store on Saturday night and the cashier was very friendly. Cute store with lots of kitschy stuff, old fashioned candies, etc. On Sunday morning we went for breakfast and for $7 I was stuffed to the gills on eggs, grits, biscuits & gravy, bacon, apple butter, and the infamous cheesey hashbrown casserole. It wasn't the tastiest breakfast I have ever had, but I enjoyed the country charm and I would go back. And I loved rocking in the rocking chairs on the porch while we waited :)

Good food, prices and service. Much like most Cracker Barrels.

We ate here on 3/4/13. This had to be the nastiest food I have ever eaten in my life. I ordered the bowl of pinto beans. It was a bowl of thick mush that was tepid and just foul tasting. I took one bite and gagged. I can't believe they would bring this crap and set it in front of you. The corn bread was just tasteless. I did not send it back or complain. I just wanted out of there as fast as possible. My husband had breakfast. The eggs were pigeon-sized eggs and cold and the bacon was cold and burnt to a crisp. Never ever ever again.

I love this restaurant! I wish there was one closer to the city but since they're only located in smaller towns, I guess I'll be drivin far! I love their biscuits cuz they're so warm and soft. The hashbrown casserole and fried okra are awesum! I order it every time I go to any Cracker Barrel. This location was great cuz we got seated right away and got great service! Will definitely come back to this location when I'm in this neck of the woods!

My favorite Cracker Barrel location of all time! As most chain restaurants, the food is always consistently good - but the service/ wait time can vary by location. This one has amazing servers, good order-to-table time, and friendly store staff. I love the pancakes and dumplings at CB! My two favorite go-to's depending on the time of day! My favorite servers are Becky, Diamond, and Stephanie! But all of the servers are lovely! If you are worried about getting a good server, just request a good one at the host stand - or request a "3 stars or up server". (Their aprons have their experience/ expertise displayed in stars.) You will not be disappointed!

This is one of those places that most everyone has visited, but doesn't think to review. Cracker Barrel is standard American fare--good, predictable, few surprises. There is lots to choose from, even in the area of sides. For breakfast, hamburgers, salad and apple pie, you are probably good. If you are hoping to find your southern granny's greens here, don't waste your time. My favorite reason to go here? The country store. Oh, and to sit and rock for a spell out front.

First time I've ever been to Crackel Barrel. Took awhile to get our food, but it was good when we got it. I don't think I would get the chicken biscuits again, but the pancakes and hashbrown casserole were good.

There is very few times in life that a meal of fried okra, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes and meat loaf are put together in such a way that you think "Damn that was good". Terry was so impressed that she had to play a game of checkers afterwards.

Breakfast menu has lots of options. Food is consistently good regardless of what Cracker Barrel you go to across the country. Too bad the service isn't. Four stars for the food. Two stars for the service at this location.

Always good. Quick. Good quality. Great place to go for breakfast. Always a great place to stop when you're traveling on the highway's. You usually can't go wrong with going to Cracker Barrel. Yes of course it's not a five-star restaurant. So folks get real. It's Cracker Barrel. Just a good place to go have an American meal at a decent price at a decent quality it's like being in an old fashion town.

Stopped here on thanksgiving and the place was a power packed capsule of family togetherness we had a group of 10 and were seated promptly every one ordered the Thanksgiving special except for me I ordered the Country fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy, I had my other 2 sides put straight into a togo box as I knew I would be able to consume such hardy portions and wanted to save room for dessert. Originally the service was poor, our server seemed new and inexperience. It took her several minutes just to bring drinks, however help came along the way and (in the form of a more experienced waitress helped out our original server and things started. The food was great not a single complaints from any of the 10 of us for desert I ordered the Cokeacola cake with ice cream and it was amazing. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because of our 10 minutes waiting for drinks an the management putting s very inexperienced server at such a large table on such a busy day.

I love the whole cracker barrel line of restaurants / stores. They always have quality service. This time was no different. The food was awesomely delicious and service was friendly and fast. I love coming here on my road trips it is a relaxing place to stop after a long drive.

I've gone to many Cracker Barrel locations, and have been to this one a few times as well. Overall, I have never had an issue with the food or service at this location. The Friday fish special is a personal favorite.

Pretty horrible and fairly expensive. The wife and I ordered chicken fried chicken and the kids chicken and rice. On the cfc: The fried chicken patty similar to a mcdonands patty. Mashed potatoes runny and watery. Gravy with too much chemical thickener and no flavor (chemicals rather than gravy - way too "shiny" and off in flavor). The fried apples had wax on the skin that was not cleaned off before baking - that kind of ruined that. The bread / rolls flavorless. The kids meals were just as bad. I've tasted lots of better rice pilafs but not many worse than this. It was, ... slimy. The chicken tender things with the kids meal overcooked. All of this for over fifty dollars. The server was friendly, on the ball. Just horrible and expensive food. Will not return. I would not have thought it possible to mess up these basics but cracker barrel did.

I'm definitely not part of the toothless retired crowd yet, but I like the Cracker Barrel chain. When I travel across country or we're on one of our family road trips, we all like Cracker Barrel. My kids enjoy the candy and "chochkies" in the store even though they didn't grow up with then like I did. But then again, these items have a long history, some that long preceded me, so I guess my kids are lucky to be creating their own associations.

omg i cannot believe my spouse hoodoo'd me back in this place. how can you screw up eggs toast and bacon!!!! look, bacon should be cooked, not left on the flat iron so long it granulates in your mouth like an overcooked potato chip. scrambled eggs were the only thing i could choke down. they had so much milk or water in them they were rubbery and watery. i had the berry cream cheese stuffed french toast: the blueberries and black berries were sour and unripe. since the cook put the cream cheese between the french toast when hot, the cream cheese between them was warm and messy and slid all over the plate by the time they got to me. the flavor was glop and sticky in my mouth. the coffee as always and expected was inferior quality with under roasted green flavors. i expect this from this cheap chain given their business model. terrible food. high prices. good business model but good god it was bad. i simply refused to pay. i should speak with my lawyer about damages to my psyche.

Yuck! Country Fried Steak, one of only two items highlighted as specialties of theirs, was horrendous. The meat was overdone and dry...I couldn't even cut through it with a fork (had to use the knife). The mashed potatoes were a solid lump of garbage and the turnip greens tasted like burnt meat and farts. I also had peach sweet tea that made me feel nauseous...prob because it's sweetened with Splenda. Denny's Country Fried Steak is 100 times better, and that's not saying much. I was very disappointed, because I've always heard good things. Clientele=severely overweight people. Waitstaff=teenagers that didn't seem to care about anything. Pricing=fair, but too high for the quality of food that I had. Overall, I would never eat at Cracker Barrel again unless I was starving and there was no where else around. I'd have to be really hungry though.
