I've come here twice once on a Friday and again the following Sunday afternoon. Both experiences I've been presented the most awkwardly nerve racking situations with the staff. I'm pretty new to panera and the menu and the cashiers could not have made the situation worse if they tried. I'm not going to name names but you both know who you are and if you ever read this just know this isn't a personal attack. You all just need to train more on customer service. After the painstaking experience of ordering I can honestly say that I absolutely loved the food and loved the dining experience until I noticed other patrons were being asked to collect their trash and dirty dishes. I then noticed that those patrons came in after me and I began to wait for the busboy to approach me and ask but he never came. He just kept staring into my eyes as if to say "what do you want?" Just an awkward way to have a meal. The next time the lady yanked my date's shirt which really rubbed me the wrong way, not to mention an employee Damn near pushing me out of the way while I prepared my tea and twenty minutes came and proceeded to vacuum clean under our table while my date and myself discussed the dynamics of terrible customer service.. Needless to say, not coming back...

Panera Bread has every possible option when it comes to sandwiches and soup. It's a place where there is something for everyone. But from a green standpoint, Panera can be a bit more responsible. Positives: On all eat-in orders, you are served with dish ware and silverware. Negatives: Panera bread only offers disposable cups regardless of if you are eating-in or taking it to-go. And the cups are either plastic or wax-lined paper, depending on what you order. If you ask for extra dressing for a salad, mayo for a sandwich, or butter for your bread, you are given a stack of individual sized, plastic-encased condiments. Their to-go packaging, although it is paper, is mostly not recyclable due to the plastic 'window' that peers into every one of their products, be it baked good, sandwich or salad. Even their soups are served with a plastic top. This mixing of materials makes it impossible to recycle, therefore, creating a bulk amount of waste. Their to go orders also include plastic cutlery. Please think about the impact that your company has on the environment, and how widespread and plentiful in locations you are. To be greener, Panera could do a lot. Try switching to plant-based, biodegradable to-go options for containers and cutlery. Offer washable, reusable vessels for beverages for the customers who eat-in. Your condiments can be served in small washable dishes as well. These changes will help your catering and large company take-out orders produce more responsible waste and less of it. It will also cut down on the small things here and there that are just tossed into the trash waiting to sit in a garbage dump, never to decompose. I look forward to seeing a big company like Panera make greener choices, and pave the way for other chain corporations!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE This is the very last time I will embarass myself and my company with lunch from Panera. This sandwich is a tiny pathetic amount of roast beef with two slices of nasty unripe tomatos.I AM SO DONE.

When your bad attitude is stronger than the service, there's a problem Houston. The first problem I had actually wasn't all that concerning. I asked about the UP2 and was misinformed by the cashier. Not a big deal. The problem arose when I dared to ask about the nutritional facts regarding a specific item.I asked the manager about a scone containing trans fat and and was treated like it was 1940s Germany and I'd spoken out against supreme leader Adolf Hitler. She spoke to me with an uncomfortable amount of agitation and had her assistant manager reinforce her points. When I presented the government's position on trans fat, she said she didn't know the law but that Panera had already been changing their menu because of it (so how could you not know?). She also acted as if she knew my reasoning but continued to treat my question ( via rolling eyes, motioning with her hands, flexing her eyebrow muscles) as though I had disrespected her. The point is...come here and know what you want. Do not ask for things that you don't see available, don't expect friendly customer service, and please please please do NOT ASK ABOUT TRANS FAT. YOU WILL BE BANISHED FROM SPEAKING THERE EVER AGAIN. VERPIS DICH!!!

People are crazy for rating this place so low. I have been here several times for over 4 years now and have always had a pleasant experience. This Panera is right on par with nearly any other that I have been to. Everything is always clean and food is fresh.

Real dishes and table service? Panera is adding but not without subtracting! Ceramic dishware and servers actually serving you. Nice touch if you left everything else the same. But when I got my Italian combo I noticed the pickle had gone to Jenny Craig! The bread for my sandwich seemed as though it was floating. The lettuce and tomato's were dry and the meat was rolled up dead center of the sandwich. I was having lunch with my boss, so I just kept biting until I actually hit the meat. WTF, P. I know that everything is going up. But you are ruining my favorite lunch spot!

I ordered my son a grilled cheese sandwich to go tonight, along with three other meals. Panera did not take the plastic off the cheese in his grilled cheese sandwich! Called and spoke to a manager and this was his comment, "And the plastic won't slip right off?" What??? He then asked what he could do to make me happy. He should have apologized and told me that a free meal and bakery item was there for me at mhy convenience. I cannot believe this! Usually great place to go, but the manager's attitude and comment was so bad I think I'll find another Panera.

Ordered a whole sesame chx salad, looked like a salad from the pick 2 selection. Terrible value. For the same price you can get a comparable and better salad at Portillos.

This panera bread location is BUSY! The line was long, however it went by pretty quickly. I ordered a cream of chicken in a bread bowl which is my favorite. I wish they had different sides however, your options are another piece of bread, apple or plain potato chips, yay me. The location of the soda machines is all the way to the back, considering I was sitting by the front. The food was very tasty and I am definately a fan.

Horrible, over priced mass produced food. I ordered a breakfast sandwich to eat there. The cashier asked me "Is this for here" I said "Yes". I sit outside, the employee comes with my food. "Did you want this to go or for here"? I said "For here"..so he gets me a plate. The plate is dirty.. I eat the bad-tasting sandwich, and 10 mins later my stomach is in pain. Not sure what the deal was, some type of food born issue. I am writing this well in the afternoon, my stomach is still upset and unsettled. The sandwich really messed my digestion up for today. I hope it clears up by tomorrow! No more eating at Panera! That is for sure!

I have been consistently disappointed with this particular location. It seems as they are always out of something! I love their breakfast souffles. However, if I come in past 9:00 am they are almost always out of them. On Tuesdays, they have their baker's dozen special on bagels. I have not been able to get a dozen so far. Tonight, i called at 5pm to see if they had any, I was told there was only 2 everything bagels! They also have run out of their popular soups. I give up on this location! The parking lot is small, cramped an crowded.

I go to this Panera Bread location often for business meetings, and I am always pleased by the friendly treatment I receive from the staff and management. Many employees actually go out of their way to remember my face and even my name, and it makes my trips there more enjoyable. The food is always great - fresh and delicious. The great thing about Panera Bread is that the food is healthy, yet it's quick! The variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches are amazing, and I always try a 'new' seasonal salad or sandwich offering and am never disappointed. Plus their sweets are heavenly - from the ultimate sweet-tooth to the scone-and-coffee type person, there is a delectable snack for everyone! The facility is clean and well-kept, and the staff are always on top of everything. Whether you are on the go or staying to eat, the experience at this location is great.

I could go here every morning for a light breakfast. im addicted to their coffee. the employees are much kinder at this location (for some reason) than other stores such as both orland park's. its nice for lunch on occasion - but a nice peaceful start to the day at breakfast from their bakery.
