What makes a good restaurant great? The service! Hmm. This does not require a college degree. I stopped by with a friend to have an early dinner. The place was about half full. Probably due to the time and weather. The greeter was very polite and called the server right away. She threw him two table numbers and asked which one he wanted to seat us at? He gave us a look from head to toe and promptly sat us at the only table in front of the kitchen. The restaurant had 25 other tables that were empty and we have to look at the delivery guy and the garbage? We just came from work. We were wearing dockers and dress shirts. Was I just profiled? Did I have a run in my nylon? My fault for sitting through the meal and not saying anything to the server, but I didn't want to piss him off and find a cob in my food that wasn't on the menu. I sent off an e-mail that night and got a response the very next day. Sorry for the inconvenience hope to see you again soon? Right. I'll be going back. As soon as the little boy who served us finishes college. My choice is Dragon Palace in Mokena off of 191st street. You can't compare the food or the service.

Totally disappointing!!! The service was horrible and we didn't even eat the food. We were told it would be about a 45 min.. wait. This was fine because we went to the bar. However, after about an hour, we still weren't seated. So I asked the host/manager when we would be seated. He said we were next. After watching at least 2 other couples get seated (they came in after us), we were fed up and just left. Customer service is OBVIOUSLY not their priority!

My husband and I started coming here and dining about a year before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. So when I got sick I was soooo disappointed, knowing that my restaurant selections were severely limited from now on. When my nutritionist told me that PF Changs had a gluten free menu, I couldn't believe it. We went the next evening for dinner and I was amazed at just how good the food tasted and how well I was treated. Not like a freak, more like a high end guest. Now that they have my favorite, mongolian beef, on the gluten free menu, I can't tell you how happy I am. The gluten free versions taste just like what I remember the originals taste like - delicious - and Sean, my favorite waiter, is the best. It's nice to be treated so well and not worry about getting sick...the staff really takes gluten free dining seriously! Oh...and did I mention those lettuce wraps! Yummmm!!!

I am simply a diner who is looking for a good meal, at a fair price where I can enjoy a much needed evening out with my friends. In one simple word, my experience at P.F. Chang's was amazing! The staff was attentive but not hovering, the food was flavorful, hot and done to perfection. Appetizers, dinner and dessert arrived as a well timed orchestrated event. The entire experience was one of pleasure and joy. Why may you ask am I writing this review. Because I believe to many times I have been disappointed and left a restaurant feeling my hard earned dollars could have been spent better. Instead last night I left P.F. Chang's feeling as though the evening was perfect and since those evening's do not come by often, I needed to share my experience. In conclusion I would like to say, if you are looking for a great place to eat put P.F. Chang's in Orland Park, IL on your list, you will not be disappointed!

I have been to this location one other time... But it was too busy for me and my now fiance to really enjoy. Today I tried it again with a friend during lunch as opposed to dinner time. Per request of other Yelpers, I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, the pork buns (I got pork because I thought that would mean an automatic guarantee that they were good as opposed to the shrimp ones), and the combo fried rice. Chicken Lettuce Wraps - These were (obviously) fantastic! - I wish it came with a little less of the noodles that are served underneath the chicken Pork Buns - Fantastic flavor - Sauce on top was great - Was not shaped like the "stereotypical" pork bun... They're more shaped like a pot-sticker. So I feel like the cost for 6 was a little high considering the size Combo Fried Rice - Full of meats and delicious Overall, I would definitely go again... But only if I'm willing to have a slightly expensive meal and drive 30 minutes down the highway to get there.

Came with my grandmother and took the plunge on the sushi. Big no-no! I got the kaleidoscope roll which was ahi tuna, salmon, avocado, mango and a couple of other items, although I couldn't quite detect or see any mango. For $10.25, this roll was incredibly small, about 8 pieces that were literally bite sized. I know sushi isn't a large portion in general, but this roll was even smaller than some of the basic rolls I've got at actual sushi bars. The ingredients tasted fresh, but didn't seem to blend that well, like how typical sushi does. They were also rolled quite poorly, 2 of my pieces came completely unwrapped. No soy sauce was served with the sushi either. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed, but probably should have known better than to get the sushi here. Don't do it! However, I also had crab wontons and these were pretty good. The tops were a bit too crispy for me and they in general were hard to eat properly, maybe there's a technique? Who knows? Anyway I'd get these again. Gram had the almond & cashew chicken which she seems to get a lot and says it's tasty. 2/5, the sushi didn't cut it, if you want good sushi go literally 1 minute north up the road to Mizu or Woow.

Was given a $50 Chang's gift card and thought, "Ah, sh*t." I'd heard raves so I thought I'd give it a reluctant shot. Grabbed a booth right away, but it was quite a bit before I could get my server's attention. She was polite, but looked worn out and seemed emotionally removed. An iced tea arrived promptly, but after 10 minutes of waiting for sugar, I got up and snagged some from another table myself. My view was a bus tray filled to the brim with teetering, dirty dishes. As I sat there..listening to Bob Marley..ya know, slappin' da authentic Asian bass..I decided to run with the dinner for 2 @ $42.95 and add on 1 more appetizer and a glass of Sangria. Sangria came with 3 Maraschino cherries in the glass and the flavor was suspiciously reminiscent of the syrup they are sold in. I was doing my best to be optimistic and enjoy conversation while eyeballing my funky brown egg drop soup soup. In rolls 2 appetizers; seriously yummy lettuce chicken wraps and crab wontons... without that whole noticeable crabmeat part. Spicy Chicken and Honey Crisp Chicken entrees were OKAY, but I have had *much* better. Brown rice was overcooked. Dessert wontons were a chewy, flavorless disaster. To wrap it up... I barely saw my server and felt disappointed with the entire experience. My best advice? Pass this up and head South down LaGrange until you hit Tribes Alehouse.

Excellent food and service. P.F. Changs recently added additional items to their menu. Now, they offer sushi and other small plates as appetizers. The Chang's Lettuce Wrap is their signature appetizer. It now comes with a mixed soy sauce. They no longer offer up the three sauces for the customer to combine. The Chicken Satay is a new item. The peanut sauce is not as creamy as I'm accustomed to tasting at other Asian restaurants. It's still very tasty. The Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai Noodles are my favorite entrees. Rarely do you have to wait a long time to be seated at this location. Parking is perfect. Jicama Street Tacos will be the next new item I will order. I'm certain it taste as good as it appears on the menu.

Tonight's meal was a flop, IMHO. I wish I'd read the previous review about NOT getting the sushi. I had the Kalaidoscope Sushi plate after apps of Spring Rolls and Lettuce Wraps. The apps were fine but the sushi was eh, so-so. Not very tasty, I had to ask twice for soy sauce and they were out of wasabi. Out iOS wasabi? How does that happen at place supposedly know for its flavorful dishes? We didn't get any prepared sauce to add to our other plates. The Hunan Hot Fish was not that flavorful and didn't have as many veges as last time. The pepper steak and sweet/sour chicken meals were OK. But not the spectacular meals like we've had there before. Sadly, I think this chain outlet hit its peak long ago and now on downward spiral. I see no reason to return and certainly wouldn't recommend it as local favorite. :-(

I really like this place and we come here pretty often cause i love the lettuce wraps! But i find this place to be inconsistent especially my lettuce wraps sometimes they give u a ton of lettuce and sometimes only like 4. Then either get a ton of meat or more of the rice noodles. Its just always different. Another thing ive noticed is if theres two of you ordering an app you get allot less if there was four of you ordering the same app. Just doesn't make any sense if its the same price! But overall the food is good.

Mine and my husbands first time here. The food was good, I got the crispy honey chicken, and he got the dynamite shrimp, and a side of chicken and pork fried rice. The fried rice my husband liked but to me it had a weird smell that turned me off. As I said, the food was good but it was way too over priced for the size and quality of the food. I think we will stick to our favorite local Chinese place by home.

This was my first visit to a P F Chang's. I know this isn't authentic Chinese food. But really who gives a flip. When your hungry your hungry. We were seated promptly. The server was there in a flash to greet us. That's always a good sign. She was a really sweet gal. She was very attentive and friendly. We ordered quite a bit to share. I ordered the PF Chang's for two, the starter was chicken lettuce wraps. They were very yummy. The entrees were Salmon and Mongolian Beef. Both were flavorful and the beef tender. The spicy tuna rolls lived up to their name. I'm not a fan of spicy. Of course I still ate them. lol For dessert we had the banana spring rolls. Which was super yummy. Server always made sure plates were gone and beverages were refilled. Loved the service!

Amazing dinner every time! Great drinks, food, service, and ambiance. I have no idea why this place has such a bad rating. I have been here several times over the years and I am always happy with my experience and impressed by the food. Food: We get a top of the apps to share for the table (and then we get stuffed and have to share one entree.) -salt and pepper calamari are so yummy! The sauces that they bring to the table are great! I like to mix and match. -Chicken lettuce wraps are a classic. I always feel thin bc I'm stuffing chicken in my mouth with crispy lettuce leaves! -Shrimp dumplings (steamed). Again, the dipping sauces are fun and add a depth of flavor. -tuna tataki is AMAZING! I really don't know what to say about this dish other than this: if you don't like this dish then you might be either a lost cause or a diva. -dynamite shrimp... the name says it. like I said above, this is usually when we are on to round 2 of drinks and feeling full. The mai tai is my favorite but my dad swears by the pear mojito. My mom and sis always enjoy their seasonal cosmos, Our dessert of choice is the Banana Spring Rolls!!!!!! You must try! I'm not a sweet tooth but this one gets me every time!

We went here for lunch 6/16/2015 while running around making last minute wedding finalizations. Got in, and were seated within a minute or so. The waitress came and asked for drink order. I could not see drinks on the menu that I got, so we had to ask. We got 2 drinks between us, She got an iced tea. I asked for a green tea, which I was then asked hot/cold and tropical or regular. I went with tropical, as it sounded neat. She returned about 5 minutes later with our drinks. The iced tea came as expected, my hot tea came with a pot of water, a plastic wrapped tea bag, and a half-shot glass sized glass to drink the tea from. The pot also came full to the brim with hot water, so i had to drink a glass or two of hot water to be able to get the tea bag soaking. She came back a few minutes later to take our food order. My fiance ordered orange chicken i believe it was, i got the spicy chicken, both from the lunch specials menu. I was offered a free upgrade to Quinoa from the standard rice, which ended up costing $2.00, not free. We also ordered a plate of rangoons, the rangoons came first, along with the soups (egg drop). Soup was good, so was the appetizer , although it was a bit small. Our food came about 10 minutes after we finished, which i though was a bit long. The food was decent, but nothing too spectacular. We ate, service was good, but a bit slow in my opinion. Overall, nothing bad to report, but not as good food as i expected.

I love P.F. Chang's! I live across the street from this one so I've had quite a few meals here. My favorite is the Ma Po Tofu - SO GOOD. I've tried to replicate it but P.F. Chang's does it best. I also love the Sichuan asparagus. Deliciously spicy and garlicky. I've tried a ton of other meals there but this seems to be my go-to. The portions are sizable so I get two meals out of this! Service has always been great in my opinion. I've never had a problem with carry-out. It can get a little loud in the dining room but I don't mind. Pricing is average, but could stand to be a little cheaper, then I'd eat here all the time!

We have gone to PF Chang's quite a few times and always has a good experience. We had gone there a few months ago and decided to take our daughter with us tonight since she was home from college. It was a Friday and when we arrived we were quoted a 35 minute wait. We began noting that people who arrived after us had started getting seated and we were still waiting. 45 minutes later I asked why we were still waiting and the manager told us "you're next" and then buzzed our pager. No "sorry for the wait" or anything. Our waiter was slow to greet our table and when he eventually took our order we placed our entire order out of fear he wouldn't return. Throughout the meal drinks went unfilled, plates remained on the table after courses were finished and he would simply disappear for long periods of time. It was clear people around us were irritated as well. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal but we were in the restaurant for nearly 2 and a half hours before we could order dessert. We wouldn't have even ordered it but it was included because we ordered the "dinner for 2." At the end of the meal, the waiter finally brought the bill, which seemed high but we were so irritated we just paid it because my daughter was now late for her date. Upon arriving home we reviewed the bill and realized we were overcharged by approximately 10.00. My husband called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. Joe, who had answered the phone said that he was a manager and could help us. We explained the overcharge and Joe found our bill to examine the charges. He seemed irritated and then said "the meal for 2 discount was not applied." Joe then said he would deduct the $10.70 from our bill and credit our card for the charges. No apology no nothing. He hurriedly rushed us off the phone. I never experienced such rudeness from a restaurants manager and was shocked at his lack of care for his patrons. I enjoyed the food at PF Chang's but there are many asian restaurants in our area and I will take my business elsewhere I recommend you do too.

I have to say that it have never been to this location and had a bad experience. The service and food are excellent. The food is always consistent, which is what I expect from a chain. If you want authentic, go elsewhere. Please Don't complain. But, if you know you're getting Americanized Chinese food, judge it that way. As far as that goes, this place is awesome. Don't be a friking snob. The wait staff is kind and attentive. As always, some wait staff are better then others. In general, they are very good. For those that have a bad experience, say something! You will never see improvement if you don't highlight a poor experience. Unless you like complaining.

We were invited by friends to join them with another couple. That made it special. Initially we wanted to bow out because their food was usually prepared with too much sodium. However, this time we requested LOW SODIUM. Good choice. Tried the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer (low sodium). You can add as much soy sauce later if you need it. The red sauce is spicy. Same for the horseradish. I had what looked like shrimp salad on 3 mini buns (Chili Shrimp Bao). Good taste but not sure if I'd order again. The wife had the chicken with black bean dish. Everything was delicious. Didn't feel overstuffed or over salted. We must have sat for 2 hours. I wish we had gotten the servers name. Sorry about that, but she was very patient and attentive. This was a much better experience than last time. Of course it always tastes better when someone else treats.

When you go to PF Changs, you know what you're getting yourself into. With that said, I went to the PF Changs in Orland last night a and had an exceptionally mediocre experience. After being told the wait would be an hour, my friend and I decided to order drinks at the bar. It took 20 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us, and when she did she acted like she was doing us a huge favor by taking our drink orders. I was told they were out of Muscato.. ok. I ended up ordering a margarita that tasted like a liquid War Head- I only took a few sips. It took another 10 minutes for us to get our bill. The restaurant was busy, but not enough to justify the bad service. In contrast to the bartender, out waitress was friendly despite being busy. The food was average, except for the lettuce wraps which were phenomenal. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.

I used to make fun of people for coming here. I've been breaking my own rules more and more on things lately. That's another story though. I'm recently pretty obsessed with this place. I never mess with the dining room. I still can't believe people wait to eat here. I have never had to wait for the bar area. I grab a seat in there and get right to eating. I'm trying to be healthy these days and the chicken lettuce wraps are a great treat without completely blowing my diet. I also love the fact that they have mini dessert in case I have a "few" calories to spare. The service has always been pretty good. I like that it always feels clean there to me as well. **Tip** If you do weight watchers the chicken lettuce wraps are crazy low points. I believe the entire appetizer (4 servings) is 12 points.

We went there on a Monday evening. PF Changs has always been one of my favorite chain restaurants however they have recently changed the atmosphere a bit. Chop sticks are in a vase on the table and I saw kids taking them out and playing with them and then putting them back for the next customer to use. Yuck. When they brought me my glass of wine there was lipstick on it. Yuck again. The restaurant seemed dirty and loud. Lots of kids and parents not paying attention to them. We won't go back. Disappointing.

It had a very large parking lot for free. Small lobby and the bar area was small also. There was a 20-25 minutes wait to get seated without reservations. We ordered lettuce chicken wraps and those were always so good. they always are when we go there we get that as an appetizer. We got the 2 dinners for 40.00 deal. the egg drop soup was interesting and a little different. It was real good though, much more in it then other egg drop soups I have had. Then for the entrees we got sesame chicken and crispy honey shrimp. The portions were kind of small, that was disappointing but they tasted really good. We got brown rice instead of white. For dessert, we upgraded to the banana spring rolls for an extra 2.00. Those were Super delicious. I'd recommend coming here.

I am going to give PF CHANG's a big thumbs down today. Last time that my husband and I ordered food to go was approx 6 mos. ago. Food was not ready when promised so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes. That was not a problem as we were in no hurry and enjoyed a drink at their bar while waiting. When we were leaving, the manager gave us a $10 off next purchase of $40 or more. Today we ordered dinner to go. Enough for four people and appetizer. The male manager, whom I have never seen before refused to take it and said that it is expired. It's like I wasn't the first that he had done this to by his arrogant attitude. He was getting ready to swipe my cc and I told him to cancel the order. Then he said that he would take the $10 off. By then I was p'd off and didn't want their food. Too bad. They lost a good customer by being greedy. We frequent this restaurant for business meeting as well as personal about 2x a month on average. Just scratched them off my list. Bad management. Don't give a coupon if u r not going to honor it.

The wait here can get insane! The last three times my husband and I have been here, we were told we'd have over an hour wait but managed to snag a bar table in less than 5. Score! We always share the meal for 2 for $40 which comes with either hot and sour or egg drop soup, an appetizer, two meals and a dessert. Pretty good deal! PF Changs - 3 Stars: one of the last Chinese restaurants in Orland Park since Lang Lee closed - and this place doesn't really serve the classic dishes. But for nouvelle Chinese - this is a happening place. Favorite dish is the chicken lettuce wraps - could eat just that for the main course with a glass of wine. Speaking of which - PF Changs used to offer a wine flight of three tastes for $10 ... guess they got tired of washing glasses because they dropped it. Lots of tables/booths and wait staff in this large, noisy dining room. Make reservations ahead of time to save the wait. Good place for families and kids, even better for special occasions.
I have warmed up to this place immensely over the years. Their hot and sour soup is now something we crave. Their kung pao chicken is phenomenal but the best thing on the menu we have tried is the spicy eggplant. We are meat eating fools but we fight over this stuff. It is wonderful!

I wish I could give this location zero stars. I went here with ONE other person on a Friday night. It was moderately busy, but there were still empty tables available, so there was no reason for the amount of crappy service we received. Our starter came out, lettuce wraps. In the beginning they were fine. We asked for some additional lettuce and when they came out they smelled slightly funny. My brain to mouth ratio must have been off because for some reason I took a bite anyway. The lettuce burned my mouth, and cause so much pain I was literally in tears. Upon telling the server, she immediately removed it and ran off to get the manager. I have never seen someone fly away with the offending food so quickly in my life, so this is totally normal for them apparently. When discussing this incident with the manager he "assured" me that the lettuce is kept boxed in the fridge separately and there "isn't anyway anything could have happened to the lettuce" and would I like to try some other lettuce, because there was no problem with the lettuce. Yes, you heard me right. I was crazy. Obviously. After that incident I just wanted to leave. I was in pain, unhappy, and completely furious that the management turned the incident around on me. Our food came, my friend was eating, and noticed her food was cold and stopped eating. We were constantly asked if everything was ok, and we constantly said no, hoping for them to at least warm it, but still nothing was done. After twenty minutes of asking for our check, we paid and rushed the hell out of there. I will never eat at this restaurant ever again, and if you want PF Changs, I highly recommend you find another location.

The rest of their food is fine. Service is fine too. Their ahi tuna was a darker color and did not taste that good. I always get ahi tuna when I see in on the menu. If you're like me and love ahi tuna, drive a little further and go to Cooper's Hawk to get their ahi tuna tacos. Yum! But all in all, I like PF Chang's food and I'm Vietnamese.

Well, we haven't been to this PF in a while, but WOW - it is definitely THE BEST PF I have ever been to, and I have been to many from LA to Boston. The food was hot and delicious - and it came out really fast! We were seated promptly and our server Danielle was great! Not absent, not smothering. Just, I don't know - psycic? -in her ability to always be there only when you needed her. Perfect. Joe, the manager, was a professional, delightful host. Just a great guy and easy to chat with. Doesn't come off at all "manager-ish". Great stuff. Well, if you ever have a taste for a great place with great food and service, head to Orland Park. I have never had a bad meal here. Enjoy!

This restaurant gets 5 stars for several reasons - 1. The Prix Fixe menu - less decisions 2. My wife not being able to finish her entree 3. Eating all of mine and a good part of hers 4. I took my daughter here for lunch on December 2, 2012. We had a great lunch. Crab rice was very good. I had the spicy chicken. Solid. Place was super clean and the prices were reasonable. I dined here on Saturday night around 8:30 and boy was it busy. We did wait a bit(which was expected) but was all worth the wait. Our server and service she provided was Great!! I think her name was Carrie. She made tons of suggestions and gave her in put which, I enjoy and value. We did the $39.95 Dinner for 2 enjoyed all of it we started with Wonton Soup Which we upgraded, Crab wontons, Mongolian Beef, Changs Chicken and then went all the way with the Banana Rolls which we also upgraded. It was all so YUMMY! They dont use any MSG in the restaurant at all. Which is a big thing for me and you can really taste the quality in their food that they are serving. Yeah it is a bit Pricey but you get what you pay for. Over all a great experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the man that runs it all Joe. I always see him and his staff walking around making sure everyone has a great time and enjoying everything. I am a big foody and have worked as a server and manager and that is why I give PF Changs 5 stars. I know what it take to run a successful restaurant and they have it down every time I dine in or do takeout.

Okay, let me start out by saying that I rarely get the urge for Chinese. I like it enough when I'm eating it, but it's not really something I crave. That said, a week ago (or was it two?), I met one of my best girls for lunch on a Friday. It was empty. We were seated fast. The server kept our drinks refilled. Clean, nicely decorated restaurant. So all that is good. As a Very Picky Vegetarian, I ordered the vegetarian fried rice. The super big plus is that a single order probably could've fed me for 3-4 meals. The not-so-plus about this? It wasn't anything special. It was okay. I wasn't bowled over by the vegetarian offerings to begin with, and seeing how fried rice is almost always a safe bet, I rocked it. Good but not spectacular. Overpriced for what you get. My friend ordered something-with-chicken and paid a lot more than what I did for about twice the cost. Would I go back again? Sure, if someone invited me to go there specifically. But I probably wouldn't wake up out of a solid sleep, beckoning deep into the night for PF Chang's. Just sayin'.

Great Food and Extraordinary service. I cannot say enough about how great the service is here. We came for dinner and had Dorothy as our waitress. She was fantastic. Friendly, fun, and great service. We came the next day for lunch and had another great experience with Carrie. The manager (believe his name is Joe) also came over when we had a little misunderstanding to make sure it was right. You can tell the servers and manager are sincere. Best service I had at a restaurant in a long time. We will be back. Thanks!

I have severe gluten and dairy allergies, and this PF Chang's rocks in accommodating them. There's only 6 places that I can eat at in the Chicagoland area, so I am lucky to have a PF Chang's so close to my house! I love the plate coding system, and even though there's only a few items on the menu I can eat, they are very good. If you have food allergies, PF Chang's in Orland is for you!

My husband and I recently visited PF Chang's for the first time and loved it. We went on a Monday night and it was completely packed. Completely. I was surprised at the lack of space that the restaurant seemed to have. This is my reason for giving it four stars instead of five. There didn't seem to be a lot of "private" seating. People were seated very close to you with no dividers and all in one big room. We ordered the "2 meals for $39.99" and started with the crab wontons. Crab rangoon are my absolute favorite, like I am obsessed with it. This was AWESOME tasting. Not too greasy and just the right amount of delicious. My husband and I were both very impressed. We both ordered the sesame chicken for our entree. It was perfect. Fried just enough and just enough sauce and spice. The menu said it was a 'hot' option, but we found it to be perfectly spiced. Delicious with the brown rice option! For our dessert we ordered the fried bananas wrapped in wontons. It came with a pineapple (or maybe orange, I forget) and coconut ice cream. It was one of the best tasting desserts I have ever tasted. I was stuffed before the dessert came, but you better believe that it tasted so good that my husband and I downed that dessert. An overall great experience, and there were leftovers!!

I'm not much of a "foodie", but I do know when I like something and when I don't. I liked the Moo-Shoo Pork (sp?) I ordered here last night. Unfortunately, the other three people in my party weren't so happy with their orders, so I'm afraid I can't give more than a three star overall review. Our server was friendly and patiently took the time to explain our options. Two of us ordered from the regular dinner menu and the others ordered from the special (good options there, which included dessert). Ambiance was nice here as the colors in the surrounding decor were warm and comfortable, but the crowd noise made a normal conversation a little challenging. (Crying babies didn't help much, either, so maybe I should give those discourteous patrons a separate one star review of their own.) All in all, I'd go back...but I wouldn't be in a hurry to.

Took my mom & aunt here one night. The service was fantastic but the food left a little to be desired. Other than the lettuce wraps (delicious!!), the food was decent at best. Perhaps I was disappointed with the spiciness (or lack thereof) of what I ordered. I'll likely be back here & writing a better review after ordering something else. Oh, this friggin' place. Let me tell ya. Went there for wifey's birthday, she called it. Get there on a Sunday late afternoon, it's ass-jammed. No prob, I'm an alky, we'll sit at the bar. My father orders a glass of Port (he's old (school)). The hell, $12 for a glass of Port? Outchyerfriggin mind. He said it was good, but the cheap Polock in him couldn't order another one. Finally get seated. Worst seats in the hole, everyone who gets seated has to walk by us. I guess someone has to sit there, or they could just remove that table, it's horribly placed. Not to mention, the table were so close, it was quite annoying. Menu was OK. Food was alright, nothing memorable. But this is where things went to hell, and beyond. Wifey orders Fried Rice with her meal. Meal arrives, no fried rice. Server douche says it's "cooking right now, have it in a few". No prob, right? WRONG. She's almost finished with her plate when I stop the guy, "hey, where's the fried rice?, and get me another drink please." He comes back with WHITE rice, "sorry, we're out of fried, here's a big serving of white". WTF? Like they are really going to run out, after you just said they were making it? I do not tolerate liars, nor fools. And no drink. Incompetent kid who thinks we're gullible. Screw you. Needless to say, we'll never go back. And Orland is just a pain in the ass anymore. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. Junior's hotdogs has a better dining experience than this crap-hole.

So last Saturday I got a nail in the tire. Went to the dealer and had it fixed. PF Chang was just down the block. I walked in and ordered carry out. BEEF WITH BROCCOLI - MSG MSG MSG. What I can taste is MSG and tons of salt. The portion is panda express like. LEMONGRASS PRAWNS WITH GARLIC NOODLES - The menu said Jumbo pawns. I only got 70/110 frozen shrimps. Major ripped off! Garlic noodles tasted like instant ramen with garlic oil. CANTONESE CHOW FUN - I thought the tornado hit PFC. It is just a mess. Blend and the beef was dried I would say I was really disappointed. The place has BIG BOWL like decoration but the food is panda express quality. I should have went to panda express and save myself $ for gas. The after taste was bitter because of the MSG plus we both got MSG headache that night. Good bye PF Chang, hello Panda express.

We love coming here. Party of two. Busy Monday night 6pm and seated in just a couple of minutes. Perfect. Had the Pre fix menu for two. Great deal. Lots of food. Chicken lettuce wraps did not disappoint. Mongolian beef and Spicy Chicken were tasty. Finished off with the banana spring roles w/cocomut ice cream & fresh berries. Yum. Waiter was attentive. Service was fast and friendly. Cons: We asked for our dishes to be extra spicy, but they came out mild. Also, someone mixed up the soda lines in back and flavors were off. First learned of this chain in CA back in the 90's. I remember it being better, but maybe I was just drunk. I haven't been to one of their outlets since. Anyway, this outlet is just dull. Reminded me of frozen entrees. I had a Sesame Chicken bowl or something for lunch. Supposed to be "spicy." It was flavorless and bland. I can't remember what my wife had, but it was about the same. Not a lot of chicken in it, either. Two "bowls" with soup starters and two, non-alcoholic beverages, $23. And the soup, blech. I ordered the Hot and Sour and it was like a brown sauce with a couple tofu pieces. The only saving grace was our server, who was very competent. I won't be back.

Had always driven by and wondered what is it like in this place. So today decided to try it and went inside. The place looked big because of the high ceilings and huge light fixtures. Very interesting decor - simple but interesting. Did not have to wait long to be seated, went in just after lunchtime. Our server was Hayley and she was great. We ordered Crab Wontons for appetizer - tasty. Than ordered a plate of Chengdu Spiced Lamb and Lemon Scallops. Lamb was just OK, had a little too much fire I guess. And scallops were good but needed some sauce to be added to the dish, not the one which was on the table though. Portions were big and plenty to get full :-) I would go back there again and try different dishes.

Had the same exact food, literally, as my previous review: Food is phenomenal. Now onto business, let's talk about the crummy bartender and the discriminatory tactics we experienced. We called ahead and found out the wait was an hour to an hour half long wait. No biggie, we decided to wait in the bar and have some cocktails and chat while we waited for our table. ANGIE P. was our bartender, asking for our id's, and after me and my female counterpart put in 4 drinks, for us two and our dates, she asked for the males id's. So they handed them over, and she scurried away to make our drink orders. No biggie right? Yeah right. About five minutes later a white male put in his order for two drinks right in front of us. She didn't ask for an id, and she asked him, in front of us, to POINT OUT the person who's other drink he put in. WOW! Ain't that a bitch! For them, pointing people out will suffice. But for four minority people, she wants id's!!!! I smell discrimination done to our minority group!!!! How would you judge it? Oh it just got worse. My brother in law didn't like his mojito, and sent it back. He had taken ONE SIP. You should've seen the look on Angie's face when we returned it. Attitude all day long. Talk about bad customer service! I know you guys are busy, but spare me. We are paying customers. If your drink sucks, it just sucks! No need for the 'Tude! Our waitress inside was very nice and helpful. Sorry, forgot her name. But I didn't think it was appropriate for her to ask for an id again, when we had already brought a drink in from the bar area. I dunno...has PF chang's been slapped with fines with serving underage MINORITY minors? I dunno if our group had a youthful look, but I doubt it! Dear P.F. Changs, Your food should not EVER be considered remotely close to being authentic Asian cuisine. Instead it's food that could be considered tasty but you ruin it by dousing all of your dishes in sugar and salty ladened sauces that destroy any authenticity or goodness. This food is utterly horrible and have given it 3 chances but every dish I order remains to be covered in a horribly Americanized processed goop. The sesame chicken's description is spicy only to be sweet enough to have for dessert. The noodle dishes are oily and have enough sodium to shut my kidneys down. The spicy beans were tasty but again soaked in grease and too much salt! It's Americanized garbage and suburbanites eat it up. Yes, there's one in the city but it's mostly visited by out of towners or suburbanites that don't get opportunities to eat authentic Asian food. Yes, there's a good selection of gluten free items and even though I'm not gluten intolerant, I'm bad food intolerant. Never again Phil Chang or whatever your phony name and restaurant are called.

Ho hum. Nothing to write home about. This is the second time I tried them and still not a fan, even though I really wanted to be one! Last time they burned my food, to the point where you could smell the smoke from the burnt scallops coming from the kitchen. They didn't bring it to the table, thank goodness, but the waitress was really nice and comped our whole meal because we had to wait so long for them to re-do my dinner. But again, it was so-so.

As a Chinese diner, I didn't come to this place with delusions of gradeur, much as I'm sure Mexicans don't eat at Chipotle because it harkens memories of their mothers' cooking. That said, I was still sorely disappointed. We came here for lunch, and service was slow and mediocre. All four of us ordered the Lunch Bowls, but since two in my party didn't specify that it was indeed the lunch they wanted (and not the dinner entree) the waitress did not ask either. It wasn't until the food came out that we realized her assumption. The hot and sour soup was basically a Kikkoman disaster of soy sauce and vinegar. I felt my cells shriveling up like raisins in the sun from the sudden sodium intake, and could not bring myself to have more than two sips. I ordered the almond and cashew chicken. The chicken and vegetable pieces swam around a bland sauce, not soaking up any of the flavor. The lemon chicken was only slightly better, and the Mongolian Beef was decent with good texture. (If you want really good Mongolian Beef I suggest Penang in Chinatown.) All of the rice was overcooked. Verdict: I was expecting mediocre Pan-Asian, and we got sub-par pseudo Chinese.

The menu is extensive and somewhat intimidating if you're not sure what you like. We always order a variety of different things each visit and have never been disappointed. My husband really wanted to try this place and I love him so I happily obliged. The food was good but not great. -Hot and Sour Soup was okay but I've definitely had better. -Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps were not at all what I was expecting but very tasty!! One of the better parts of dinner for sure. -Chang's Spicy Chicken had a good flavor. It was different than any other chicken dish I've had. -the Kung Pao Shrimp was... different. I enjoyed the peanuts from the dish best. I can't really put my finger on what it was that I didn't like (or found unusual) but I wouldn't order it again. Of course my husband really enjoyed this dish!! -the Sweet and Sour Pork was some of the best I've EVER had!! The sauce was just sweet enough to be so delicious and not too sweet. I would've liked more than just one pineapple wedge though. The manager was very kind and our server also although he was a bit slow. The food portions were a bit small for the price but the restaurant itself was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would not suggest to go back but if my husband would like to return I would not protest.

I heard mix reviews from several people that have gone to eat there. It was ALL true.....not enough servings on the plate, not much flavor, not much to select from... Do not waste your time and money here. My wife and i ordered the meal for two which was $39.99. 1 appetizer, two entree, rice selection of either white rice or brown and dessert. We ordered beef dumplings, 2 egg drop soups, sesame chicken, beef broccoli and brown rice. We also ordered the kids chicken lo mien which was good. The appetizers were OK, egg drop soup tasted as if it had a hint of crab or some sea food, brown rice was brown rice which we never had at an Asian restaurant. Our main entree had TOO much sauce added and not enough compared to other traditional restaurants. Desserts were two cake shots. ALL FOR $39.99!!! Service was not that spectacular. You are better off going to Panda Express down the street or better yet. Try Chi Tung on 95 and Kedzie!!!! I don't think we will return any time soon.

Maybe I am different in not loving this overpriced franchise. Yeah, they have a nice presentation and a cool atmosphere. But waiting in line for this food - I don't think so - unless it is a business affair where you can't just go to the local places. I would try Mo's on 159th in Orland Park. While the inside accommodations aren't as grand as PF Chang's - it is probably one of the nicest Chinese restaurants that I have experienced. And their food is real!!! Prices, of course, are also more reasonable. Give it a try and say good bye to the fake food of The Chang!

I've been P.F. Chang's multiple times here and Atlanta, but my first time writing a review. The food gets 3 stars. We almost always order off the pre-fixed menu or I order beef with broccoli. It is "upscale Chinese". I don't have any real complaints about the food.The service is excellent which bumps it up to 4 stars. My one pet peeve is that everyone at the table has a dish with rice but they only bring one bowl? Don't be stingy with the rice!!

Just had to write a review to say that I love this PF Changs! I used to live downtown and I would go to the one on Grand but the Orland Park location tops it! I love love love their pan fried pork dumplings-- we went on New Years Day and we got two orders! They are so good. They have a great server in the bar area- not sure what his name is but we always try to sit in there at one of the high tops because it feels more intimate and private. Overall a great location, the only down side is there's usually a wait (but usually you can grab a table in the bar area- although you have to be quick! They go very fast.)

I had a great dinner here last night. Came in on a Monday night and got seated right away. We started dinner out with a bottle of Pinot Grigio selected by our waiter & the salt & pepper calamari. Both were very delicious. The menu had many options to choose from so it was difficult to make a decision on what to get, so I asked our waiter what he recommended. He told me the sea bass was outstanding, and boy it was. I can't wait to go back again and have another great meal from P.F. Changs!

I love this restaurant! actually going there tnight! been there at least 4 times within the past 3months. i work at a restaurant and i go here even after i work because i love their food and their drinks are good. sometimes too much ice but can always ask for that now that i know. i tried some of my friends chicken wrap and that is amazing! i have gotten the tofu which actually tastes really good with soy and the brown rice and veggies. 3times the service was amazing just the one time i went with my guy and my cousin and her bf the server supposily said she didnt see us yet we were right there for ne one to see and other servers seen us and then finally had to hunt her down. other than that this place is my top 3fav restaurants with different style in the south burbs !!

We eat here about once a month. I do not understand when you go there on a Saturday night and they tell you there is a 3 hour wait. While the food is tasty, it is not the best I have had. I would rather eat outside as you need to shout to be heard inside. It becomes worse when some family comes in with a brood of "Yuppie Larvae" who are more interested in playing than eating. Service is good. The total experience is a hot or miss.

My experience with PF Changs was relatively good. The food is great, which is the only thing that would have me come back. I've had dishes like Ginger Chicken and Orange peel Chicken which were awesome. They were a bit on the salty side, but great nonetheless. The vegetarian dishes like the Buddha's feast was pretty good as well. The great wall of chocolate cake was good as well as a dessert. Make plenty of people eat this though because it's pretty rich. The service was attentive, but lacked a bit of personality. As was the main greeter. I kind of felt that I was being treated as if I shouldn't be here a couple of times, but hey maybe the person was having a bad day. All in all, the food is excellent, but the price is a bit steep for what you get. It's a treat to have every once in a while.

BTW, this listing for 14135 Lagrange is the correct one. The other P.F. Chang's listing (for 4135) is incorrect and I have asked the Yelp Team to fix that. We came to P.F. Chang's on a Friday night without a reservation. They told us it would be an hour wait, and they were right on target with that. Our first impression was that of waiting in the bar. It was crowded much as you would expect. We both ordered a pinot noir, it was a fairly small pour for the $7 that we paid for each glass, and the wine seemed to have gone sour. Not happy with that. Once seated, our food was good. My Kung Pao scallops was excellent, amazing actually. Debbie had the szechuan beef, and she felt it was comparable to Chinese food at family restaurants where you have much less of a wait and crowd situation to deal with. For us, service was good. It is a loud, crowded restaurant, so you are dealing with that. The restaurant decor is beautiful, but the crowded nature of the place makes appreciating the ambience difficult. People seem to be drawn to this place now because it is the latest new upscale chain to open, "fresh meat". Maybe this will be a more pleasant experience in a few months after the sparkle has worn off.

Mongolian Beef is good. Long wait to be seated, 50min. Arrived on Friday at 8:25pm and did not get seated until 9:15pm. Normally in Orland/Tinley Park area, if you arrive at most restaurants after 8:30pm on Fridays, you usually get a table in less than 10 minutes. I saw empty tables, but they were not seating people because they were either reserved or did not have enough servers. Either way, we are not dining there any more, because we hate waiting that long and do not like to make reservations. Experience not worth the wait nor reservation, better to order on-line and pickup and eat at home. Servers kept bumping into my chair as they walked by. Our server delivered dipping sauces without anything to dip into them. Our server did not give any water until we ask for it, especially important if your going to deliver spicy food. I deducted all my displeasures from my tip because I tip based on my entire experience at the restaurant: Respect, Service, and Food

The only good thing was the greeter. After that it was not happening. We were put at a table in the back. It was not crowded and they had much better tables available. We had a good view of the delivery guy going in and out not to mention the garbage. it is also sad when sitting near the kitchen and the food comes out luke warm. I was expecting more but the food is average at best as was the service. Gotta go.

This is one of those places, that I enjoyed and liked but I would not probably not make it a destination for me. I doubt if I will long to back here on my own but if people I am with want to go, I will not object. The place is fairly new and the interior is decorated nicely and it is still in very good condition and clean. Our server was very good. She had a good working knowledge of the menu and was very helpful. Even though the place was jam packed, we were not ignored. I would agree that the wonton soup was outstanding, probably some of the best that I ever had. As far as my entree was concerned, I ordered the pepper steak. It does get a little complicated here though with the entrees. I was there with a party of nine so what we did was took a bit of our entree and then passed it around. I had brown and white rice on my plate along with nine different samples of entree. This led to a big medley of flavor on my plate, so I am going to have some difficulty describing the taste of any one entree accurately. I did enjoy everything though and at no point in the evening did I turn my mouth into a twisted grimace at the taste of anything. I will be required in all fairness to the place to update this review when I am there with a smaller group to better comment of the individual taste of the food. The one thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the portion size. I wasn't expecting the same amount of food that I would get at the local strip mall take out joint but the portions did seem rather small for what i paid. As I mentioned before, I will have to edit my review once I get a better tasting of the individual meals as I can't adequately state if the the taste would make up for the price and the portions.

I've been here about 4 or 5 times. I've always had a great time, great service, and great food. For starters, try the chicken lettuce wraps. It's sort of like a make-your-own taco with lettuce instead of a tortillas. Or you can try the crab wontons...which are awesome!! The things I've tried at PF Chang's and enjoyed: KungPao Chicken (not spicy, if you're not a wuss), Chang's Spicy Chicken (ditto), beef a la sichuan (flavorful), chengdu spiced lamb (nice spicy kick to it), wok seared lamb (this is good, only in small portions), moo goo gai pan (it's light and not heavy at all). Your entrees usually come with either white or brown rice. You may need to add some soy sauce or any of the other sauces that are at the table to make them a little more palatable. For dessert, I'd recommend the wall of chocolate. I'd bring about two or three friends just for this monstrous dessert. You won't finish it by yourself. For drinks I always go for the 2-3 Asian pear mojitos, and a couple of large jars of chilled sake and you are good for the night. And with sake, you can drink and get drunk, yet you won't have a hangover!!! (Caution: This is only true if the sake is of high quality. Which it is at PF Changs) This place is good for a nice, romantic night. But do make reservations ahead of time or it's going to be your fault your night goes to crap not the restaurant's. Oh, and do dress up. Great atmosphere...good service...good food. Perfect combination of elements for a great night.

The decor is really nice. Tall ceilings, large scale artwork. Beautiful bar area. They put a ton of money in this restaurant. The service tries hard. The food was less than average. Honestly, the food is much better at Panda Express and much cheaper. I would be willing to try this restaurant again, but after watching SouthPark episode of what happend to BONO after eating PFCHANG I can never go to this restaurant again.

I really don't like Chinese or Asian food much, but I love PF Changs. The food here is fresh and those little desert cups are worth the trip (my personal fave is the Smores). They have the best fried rice I've had, and I usually am not even a fan. The banana wontons are also awesome. On the particular night I went (though we got there late), the service was okay. The guy was waiting a lot of tables, so I def. wouldn't complain, overall experience A+.

*Ok, there are two separate listings in Yelp, and I selected this one because it appears to be the original one.* Now, maybe it's because I've worked in restaurants before, or maybe it's because I've watched one too many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, but I recognize that this was a poorly run dining room. The tables are jammed way too closely together and the servers have not figured out how to negotiate their way among the tables or each other. And it was obvious that the servers were pretty annoyed with each other, and the situation created by being jammed in. It is a nice touch that some dishes are 'finished' table-side and your leftovers are wrapped right in front of you, but it just doesn't seem worth all of the trouble it causes. For what looks like a pretty classy place, the level of experience of the servers, in general leaves a bit to be desired (our server (Thad, maybe?)) was pretty good but - due to the aforementioned close proximity of the tables - we were privy to the plights of the diners around us. Also, servers, if you need a manager for some reason, find a way to quietly call for one so customers enjoying their meals aren't brought into your issues. The trio of sauces at the table are a nice touch, but I don't know that it was worth the time it took to explain them. I'd like to think I'm ordering food that can stand on its own merits. The food was fine, but our server wasn't able to tell us what garnishes, etc, were in the different dishes - just that 'you'll like it'. How does he know what I'll like? Well, I didn't like it. And, had he told me what was in it, I wold have known in advance that I wouldn't like it. On a positive note, for the first time ever, I could see and taste actual Crab in the Crab Rangoon. Excellent. I do have to comment on the restrooms. Well, the men's room, at least. What ever amount of water the crappy sensor-operated faucets save, it's not worth it. It's a hassle to wash your hands without standing there waving like an idiot. And, to get to the restroom, you have to walk by the kitchen - and it disturbed me slightly that it was not the smell of Chinese food that stands out near the kitchen, but that of dirty dish water. I don't know what else to say about that - they do have to wash the dishes, but in no other restaurant is the smell so prevalent.

This is my favorite restaurant, and since I was starving I didn't really mind that the food here was not great. I had honey chicken as I always do and tasted some of my sister's honey shrimp. The meat seemed like it had been breaded two days ago, there was air in between the meat and the breading which made the breading fall off. The food also was not that hot. The waitress was not the friendliest. Come to the location by Perimeter Mall (see my other review) in Atl, GA and you will taste the real PF Chang's.

Let me begin by saying that my previous experiences at PFC's were always positive. That was not the case this evening. As we began, the evening, we ordered tea. The waitress, Jodi brought 1 pot, 1 cup, for 2 people dinning. We asked for another cup, she must have forgotten. When the tea was poured, it was barely warm, just above room temp. When I mentioned this, she said, "That's just the way it is. That's the way it comes out of the spout. It won't come any hotter." She also forgot the soft drink my wife ordered and we had to ask for this twice. We ate the appetizers, however the chicken in the lettuce chicken wrap was served cold, not even warm. When the entre came, the waitress served the entre and never removed the dirty appetizer plates. This seemed very unusual and somewhat awkward. She returned and said, "I can bring large size dinner plates, if you prefer". She brought the plates and set them on the far side of the table, but still did not remove the dirty empty appetizer plates in front of us. I then stacked the dirty plates on the far side of the table so we could eat dinner. As Jodi, our waitress was cleaning and setting other tables in the area, she on 2 occasions shouted over from the other tables, "How's everything?", and later called out, "Everything OK over there?" as she busily went about her task. After dinner, she removed the dinner plates and there was food debris on the table, (sorry we're sloppy Chinese food eaters). She never wiped the dirty table. Although as she returned to ask if we wanted to see the dessert menu, she noticed but again, never cleaned the very messy table. She returned with the check and once again didn't clean the dirty table as we finished our beverages. Hoping someone on the staff would notice, I stood up and with my napkin, wiped the table myself. Needless to say, at this point I was very disappointed with the overall dining experience, especially compared to my previous experiences at PFC's. I noticed on the bill I was invited me to fill out a survey, so I began jotting down points regarding my experience. When the staff noticed this, the treatment turned from poor and unprofessional to outright purposely rude and offensive. The waitress never returned to pick up the charge card, she sent someone else. As we left, my wife turned around and noticed that as the hostess said, "Thank you", her and her associate laughed and made "an obvious grimacing face" behind our backs as we walked out the door. My dear friends at PFC's, my wife and I dine out 4 to 5 times per week. We've dinned at fine dinning and casual restaurants across the country and internationally. I have been a contributing critic for various web sites, such as "Digital City.com". If this is what I can expect from PFC's, you can enjoy your success without my patronage.

What makes a good restaurant great? The service! Hmm. This does not require a college degree. I stopped by with a friend to have an early dinner. The place was about half full. Probably due to the time and weather. The greeter was very polite and called the server right away. She threw him two table numbers and asked which one he wanted to seat us at? He gave us a look from head to toe and promptly sat us at the only table in front of the kitchen. The restaurant had 25 other tables that were empty and we have to look at the delivery guy and the garbage? We just came from work. We were wearing dockers and dress shirts. Was I just profiled? Did I have a run in my nylon? My fault for sitting through the meal and not saying anything to the server, but I didn't want to piss him off and find a cob in my food that wasn't on the menu. I sent off an e-mail that night and got a response the very next day. Sorry for the inconvenience hope to see you again soon? Right. I'll be going back. As soon as the little boy who served us finishes college. My choice is Dragon Palace in Mokena off of 191st street. You can't compare the food or the service.

Totally disappointing!!! The service was horrible and we didn't even eat the food. We were told it would be about a 45 min.. wait. This was fine because we went to the bar. However, after about an hour, we still weren't seated. So I asked the host/manager when we would be seated. He said we were next. After watching at least 2 other couples get seated (they came in after us), we were fed up and just left. Customer service is OBVIOUSLY not their priority!

My husband and I started coming here and dining about a year before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. So when I got sick I was soooo disappointed, knowing that my restaurant selections were severely limited from now on. When my nutritionist told me that PF Changs had a gluten free menu, I couldn't believe it. We went the next evening for dinner and I was amazed at just how good the food tasted and how well I was treated. Not like a freak, more like a high end guest. Now that they have my favorite, mongolian beef, on the gluten free menu, I can't tell you how happy I am. The gluten free versions taste just like what I remember the originals taste like - delicious - and Sean, my favorite waiter, is the best. It's nice to be treated so well and not worry about getting sick...the staff really takes gluten free dining seriously! Oh...and did I mention those lettuce wraps! Yummmm!!!

I am simply a diner who is looking for a good meal, at a fair price where I can enjoy a much needed evening out with my friends. In one simple word, my experience at P.F. Chang's was amazing! I have been to this location one other time... But it was too busy for me and my now fiance to really enjoy. Today I tried it again with a friend during lunch as opposed to dinner time. Per request of other Yelpers, I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, the pork buns (I got pork because I thought that would mean an automatic guarantee that they were good as opposed to the shrimp ones), and the combo fried rice. Chicken Lettuce Wraps - These were (obviously) fantastic! - I wish it came with a little less of the noodles that are served underneath the chicken Pork Buns - Fantastic flavor - Sauce on top was great - Was not shaped like the "stereotypical" pork bun... They're more shaped like a pot-sticker. So I feel like the cost for 6 was a little high considering the size Combo Fried Rice - Full of meats and delicious Overall, I would definitely go again... But only if I'm willing to have a slightly expensive meal and drive 30 minutes down the highway to get there.

Came with my grandmother and took the plunge on the sushi. Big no-no! I got the kaleidoscope roll which was ahi tuna, salmon, avocado, mango and a couple of other items, although I couldn't quite detect or see any mango. For $10.25, this roll was incredibly small, about 8 pieces that were literally bite sized. I know sushi isn't a large portion in general, but this roll was even smaller than some of the basic rolls I've got at actual sushi bars. The ingredients tasted fresh, but didn't seem to blend that well, like how typical sushi does. They were also rolled quite poorly, 2 of my pieces came completely unwrapped. No soy sauce was served with the sushi either. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed, but probably should have known better than to get the sushi here. Don't do it! However, I also had crab wontons and these were pretty good. The tops were a bit too crispy for me and they in general were hard to eat properly, maybe there's a technique? Who knows? Anyway I'd get these again. Gram had the almond & cashew chicken which she seems to get a lot and says it's tasty. 2/5, the sushi didn't cut it, if you want good sushi go literally 1 minute north up the road to Mizu or Woow.

Was given a $50 Chang's gift card and thought, "Ah, sh*t." I'd heard raves so I thought I'd give it a reluctant shot. Grabbed a booth right away, but it was quite a bit before I could get my server's attention. She was polite, but looked worn out and seemed emotionally removed. An iced tea arrived promptly, but after 10 minutes of waiting for sugar, I got up and snagged some from another table myself. My view was a bus tray filled to the brim with teetering, dirty dishes. As I sat there..listening to Bob Marley..ya know, slappin' da authentic Asian bass..I decided to run with the dinner for 2 @ $42.95 and add on 1 more appetizer and a glass of Sangria. Sangria came with 3 Maraschino cherries in the glass and the flavor was suspiciously reminiscent of the syrup they are sold in. I was doing my best to be optimistic and enjoy conversation while eyeballing my funky brown egg drop soup soup. In rolls 2 appetizers; seriously yummy lettuce chicken wraps and crab wontons... without that whole noticeable crabmeat part. Spicy Chicken and Honey Crisp Chicken entrees were OKAY, but I have had *much* better. Brown rice was overcooked. Dessert wontons were a chewy, flavorless disaster. To wrap it up... I barely saw my server and felt disappointed with the entire experience. My best advice? Pass this up and head South down LaGrange until you hit Tribes Alehouse.

Excellent food and service. P.F. Changs recently added additional items to their menu. Now, they offer sushi and other small plates as appetizers. The Chang's Lettuce Wrap is their signature appetizer. It now comes with a mixed soy sauce. They no longer offer up the three sauces for the customer to combine. The Chicken Satay is a new item. The peanut sauce is not as creamy as I'm accustomed to tasting at other Asian restaurants. It's still very tasty. The Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai Noodles are my favorite entrees. Rarely do you have to wait a long time to be seated at this location. Parking is perfect. Jicama Street Tacos will be the next new item I will order. I'm certain it taste as good as it appears on the menu.

Tonight's meal was a flop, IMHO. I wish I'd read the previous review about NOT getting the sushi. I had the Kalaidoscope Sushi plate after apps of Spring Rolls and Lettuce Wraps. The apps were fine but the sushi was eh, so-so. Not very tasty, I had to ask twice for soy sauce and they were out of wasabi. Out iOS wasabi? How does that happen at place supposedly know for its flavorful dishes? We didn't get any prepared sauce to add to our other plates. The Hunan Hot Fish was not that flavorful and didn't have as many veges as last time. The pepper steak and sweet/sour chicken meals were OK. But not the spectacular meals like we've had there before. Sadly, I think this chain outlet hit its peak long ago and now on downward spiral. I see no reason to return and certainly wouldn't recommend it as local favorite. :-(

I really like this place and we come here pretty often cause i love the lettuce wraps! But i find this place to be inconsistent especially my lettuce wraps sometimes they give u a ton of lettuce and sometimes only like 4. Then either get a ton of meat or more of the rice noodles. Its just always different. Another thing ive noticed is if theres two of you ordering an app you get allot less if there was four of you ordering the same app. Just doesn't make any sense if its the same price! But overall the food is good.

Mine and my husbands first time here. The food was good, I got the crispy honey chicken, and he got the dynamite shrimp, and a side of chicken and pork fried rice. The fried rice my husband liked but to me it had a weird smell that turned me off. As I said, the food was good but it was way too over priced for the size and quality of the food. I think we will stick to our favorite local Chinese place by home.

This was my first visit to a P F Chang's. I know this isn't authentic Chinese food. But really who gives a flip. When your hungry your hungry. We were seated promptly. The server was there in a flash to greet us. That's always a good sign. She was a really sweet gal. She was very attentive and friendly. We ordered quite a bit to share. I ordered the PF Chang's for two, the starter was chicken lettuce wraps. They were very yummy. The entrees were Salmon and Mongolian Beef. Both were flavorful and the beef tender. The spicy tuna rolls lived up to their name. I'm not a fan of spicy. Of course I still ate them. lol For dessert we had the banana spring rolls. Which was super yummy. Server always made sure plates were gone and beverages were refilled. Loved the service!

Amazing dinner every time! Great drinks, food, service, and ambiance. I have no idea why this place has such a bad rating. I have been here several times over the years and I am always happy with my experience and impressed by the food. Food: We get a top of the apps to share for the table (and then we get stuffed and have to share one entree.) -salt and pepper calamari are so yummy! The sauces that they bring to the table are great! I like to mix and match. -Chicken lettuce wraps are a classic. I always feel thin bc I'm stuffing chicken in my mouth with crispy lettuce leaves! -Shrimp dumplings (steamed). Again, the dipping sauces are fun and add a depth of flavor. -tuna tataki is AMAZING! I really don't know what to say about this dish other than this: if you don't like this dish then you might be either a lost cause or a diva. -dynamite shrimp... the name says it. like I said above, this is usually when we are on to round 2 of drinks and feeling full. The mai tai is my favorite but my dad swears by the pear mojito. My mom and sis always enjoy their seasonal cosmos, Our dessert of choice is the Banana Spring Rolls!!!!!! You must try! I'm not a sweet tooth but this one gets me every time!

We went here for lunch 6/16/2015 while running around making last minute wedding finalizations. Got in, and were seated within a minute or so. The waitress came and asked for drink order. I could not see drinks on the menu that I got, so we had to ask. We got 2 drinks between us, She got an iced tea. I asked for a green tea, which I was then asked hot/cold and tropical or regular. I went with tropical, as it sounded neat. She returned about 5 minutes later with our drinks. The iced tea came as expected, my hot tea came with a pot of water, a plastic wrapped tea bag, and a half-shot glass sized glass to drink the tea from. The pot also came full to the brim with hot water, so i had to drink a glass or two of hot water to be able to get the tea bag soaking. She came back a few minutes later to take our food order. My fiance ordered orange chicken i believe it was, i got the spicy chicken, both from the lunch specials menu. I was offered a free upgrade to Quinoa from the standard rice, which ended up costing $2.00, not free. We also ordered a plate of rangoons, the rangoons came first, along with the soups (egg drop). Soup was good, so was the appetizer , although it was a bit small. Our food came about 10 minutes after we finished, which i though was a bit long. The food was decent, but nothing too spectacular. We ate, service was good, but a bit slow in my opinion. Overall, nothing bad to report, but not as good food as i expected.

I love P.F. Chang's! I live across the street from this one so I've had quite a few meals here. My favorite is the Ma Po Tofu - SO GOOD. I've tried to replicate it but P.F. Chang's does it best. I also love the Sichuan asparagus. Deliciously spicy and garlicky. I've tried a ton of other meals there but this seems to be my go-to. The portions are sizable so I get two meals out of this! Service has always been great in my opinion. I've never had a problem with carry-out. It can get a little loud in the dining room but I don't mind. Pricing is average, but could stand to be a little cheaper, then I'd eat here all the time!

The service was great, however, the food was pretty bad. The hot and sour/egg drop soups tasted horrible, the garlic noodles were lackluster at best. The Changs spicy chicken and Mongolian beef are not as good as other locations. Pretty much a waste of money. This PF Changs does not compare to the others.

We have gone to PF Chang's quite a few times and always has a good experience. We had gone there a few months ago and decided to take our daughter with us tonight since she was home from college. It was a Friday and when we arrived we were quoted a 35 minute wait. We began noting that people who arrived after us had started getting seated and we were still waiting. 45 minutes later I asked why we were still waiting and the manager told us "you're next" and then buzzed our pager. No "sorry for the wait" or anything. Our waiter was slow to greet our table and when he eventually took our order we placed our entire order out of fear he wouldn't return. Throughout the meal drinks went unfilled, plates remained on the table after courses were finished and he would simply disappear for long periods of time. It was clear people around us were irritated as well. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal but we were in the restaurant for nearly 2 and a half hours before we could order dessert. We wouldn't have even ordered it but it was included because we ordered the "dinner for 2." At the end of the meal, the waiter finally brought the bill, which seemed high but we were so irritated we just paid it because my daughter was now late for her date. Upon arriving home we reviewed the bill and realized we were overcharged by approximately 10.00. My husband called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. Joe, who had answered the phone said that he was a manager and could help us. We explained the overcharge and Joe found our bill to examine the charges. He seemed irritated and then said "the meal for 2 discount was not applied." Joe then said he would deduct the $10.70 from our bill and credit our card for the charges. No apology no nothing. He hurriedly rushed us off the phone. I never experienced such rudeness from a restaurants manager and was shocked at his lack of care for his patrons. I enjoyed the food at PF Chang's but there are many asian restaurants in our area and I will take my business elsewhere I recommend you do too.

If you want to spend allot of money on americanized Asian food by all means go here. I did not find it that amazing I guess I thought it would be more authentic. Service was good seemed clean and there is allot of parking. If you want an authentic Asian cuisine experience I would not suggest going here.

I'm baffled that the reviews are as bad as they are!! This is great Chinese food and a great place to go with the family or a hot date. The LETTUCE WRAPS are a great appetizer that won't fill you up and will never let you down. They have a GOOD SPECIAL where you and another person get 2 SOUPS, 1 APPETIZER, 2 ENTREES, 1 DESSERT. Whether you're with a date or a family, you should order different entrées and pass it around Family-style. Don't leave without dessert (recommendation: salted caramel cake). I like the chocolate raspberry wonton but I finished it in about one or two bites.

I have to say that it have never been to this location and had a bad experience. The service and food are excellent. The food is always consistent, which is what I expect from a chain. If you want authentic, go elsewhere. Please Don't complain. But, if you know you're getting Americanized Chinese food, judge it that way. As far as that goes, this place is awesome. Don't be a friking snob. The wait staff is kind and attentive. As always, some wait staff are better then others. In general, they are very good. For those that have a bad experience, say something! You will never see improvement if you don't highlight a poor experience. Unless you like complaining.

The quality has declined over the years. 2stars - food Lettuce wraps feature styrofoam noodles, greasy brown chicken pebbles, and pieces of lettuce leaves. Sushi - practically too though to chew. We were invited by friends to join them with another couple. That made it special. Initially we wanted to bow out because their food was usually prepared with too much sodium. However, this time we requested LOW SODIUM. Good choice. Tried the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer (low sodium). You can add as much soy sauce later if you need it. The red sauce is spicy. Same for the horseradish. I had what looked like shrimp salad on 3 mini buns (Chili Shrimp Bao). Good taste but not sure if I'd order again. The wife had the chicken with black bean dish. Everything was delicious. Didn't feel overstuffed or over salted. We must have sat for 2 hours. I wish we had gotten the servers name. Sorry about that, but she was very patient and attentive. This was a much better experience than last time. Of course it always tastes better when someone else treats.

When you go to PF Changs, you know what you're getting yourself into. With that said, I went to the PF Changs in Orland last night a and had an exceptionally mediocre experience. After being told the wait would be an hour, my friend and I decided to order drinks at the bar. It took 20 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us, and when she did she acted like she was doing us a huge favor by taking our drink orders. I was told they were out of Muscato.. ok. I ended up ordering a margarita that tasted like a liquid War Head- I only took a few sips. It took another 10 minutes for us to get our bill. The restaurant was busy, but not enough to justify the bad service. In contrast to the bartender, out waitress was friendly despite being busy. The food was average, except for the lettuce wraps which were phenomenal. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.

I used to make fun of people for coming here. I've been breaking my own rules more and more on things lately. That's another story though. I'm recently pretty obsessed with this place. I never mess with the dining room. I still can't believe people wait to eat here. I have never had to wait for the bar area. I grab a seat in there and get right to eating. I'm trying to be healthy these days and the chicken lettuce wraps are a great treat without completely blowing my diet. I also love the fact that they have mini dessert in case I have a "few" calories to spare. The service has always been pretty good. I like that it always feels clean there to me as well. **Tip** If you do weight watchers the chicken lettuce wraps are crazy low points. I believe the entire appetizer (4 servings) is 12 points.

We went there on a Monday evening. PF Changs has always been one of my favorite chain restaurants however they have recently changed the atmosphere a bit. Chop sticks are in a vase on the table and I saw kids taking them out and playing with them and then putting them back for the next customer to use. Yuck. When they brought me my glass of wine there was lipstick on it. Yuck again. The restaurant seemed dirty and loud. Lots of kids and parents not paying attention to them. We won't go back. Disappointing.

I just absolutely love P.F. Chang's. My fiancé and I dined here on a Tuesday at about 4:30 pm, it was so calm compared to the chaos that you experience when you visit at later times. The food was great as always. I had the chicken lettuce wraps which I highly recommend trying. I also tried the warm saké, it was different but I really enjoyed it. Now for the service... Our waitress Gina was amazing, she had great knowledge of the menu, and was very attentive. I truly had an all around great experience.

I'm sitting here at the bar as I write this review. The service is great, but I'm a little disturbed. I ordered the Hot & Sour soup, (Ok), egg rolls (straight out of the freezer, so don't bother), and the Asian pear mojito - my go to drink here which was typical. But, as they made drinks for people, they kept tasting them. Are they supposed to do that? A little weird. I don't think I'll be back.

Came here last night for my boyfriend's birthday and had a good experience. We ordered the lettuce chicken wraps, pepper steak, and honey chicken. Everything tasted great!! We didn't have an extraordinary visit, but there are no complaints. Only thing that would have been nice is if I saved room for dessert....their banana dessert sounded so good. It had a very large parking lot for free. Small lobby and the bar area was small also. There was a 20-25 minutes wait to get seated without reservations. We ordered lettuce chicken wraps and those were always so good. they always are when we go there we get that as an appetizer. We got the 2 dinners for 40.00 deal. the egg drop soup was interesting and a little different. It was real good though, much more in it then other egg drop soups I have had. Then for the entrees we got sesame chicken and crispy honey shrimp. The portions were kind of small, that was disappointing but they tasted really good. We got brown rice instead of white. For dessert, we upgraded to the banana spring rolls for an extra 2.00. Those were Super delicious. I'd recommend coming here.

Yes, I know it's a chain and I would never visit a P.F. Chang's in a city I was visiting but since I live around here I get to. Just so you know the rules. I have a quest every summer - to eat outside on as many different patios as possible. This year I was able to do a few in March and visit them in earnest in May. I don't care if there is traffic noise as the place which seems to me started the whole eat outside movement is the Champs Elysées and its outdoor cafes where there is beaucoup of traffic. I just like to eat outside without bugs and enjoy the fresh air before another Chicago winter hits. I really like the patios at P. F. Chang's - the front has good air circulation but the back one less traffic noise. I have eaten at both and like them equally. I tend to order the same things here so I asked my husband to mix it up he ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings and they were superb. I paired that with my regular Mongolian Beef and brown rice. A great meal and their teas are all very fresh and tasty. Come on, join me outside. Don't wait until the wasps arrive in early fall, get out there now! Start with P.F. Chang's - they have two patios for your eating pleasure!

I am going to give PF CHANG's a big thumbs down today. Last time that my husband and I ordered food to go was approx 6 mos. ago. Food was not ready when promised so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes. That was not a problem as we were in no hurry and enjoyed a drink at their bar while waiting. When we were leaving, the manager gave us a $10 off next purchase of $40 or more. Today we ordered dinner to go. Enough for four people and appetizer. The male manager, whom I have never seen before refused to take it and said that it is expired. It's like I wasn't the first that he had done this to by his arrogant attitude. He was getting ready to swipe my cc and I told him to cancel the order. Then he said that he would take the $10 off. By then I was p'd off and didn't want their food. Too bad. They lost a good customer by being greedy. We frequent this restaurant for business meeting as well as personal about 2x a month on average. Just scratched them off my list. Bad management. Don't give a coupon if u r not going to honor it.

The wait here can get insane! The last three times my husband and I have been here, we were told we'd have over an hour wait but managed to snag a bar table in less than 5. Score! We always share the meal for 2 for $40 which comes with either hot and sour or egg drop soup, an appetizer, two meals and a dessert. Pretty good deal! Service at the bar is speedy and food is always good and hot. No complaints here!

PF Changs - 3 Stars: one of the last Chinese restaurants in Orland Park since Lang Lee closed - and this place doesn't really serve the classic dishes. But for nouvelle Chinese - this is a happening place. Favorite dish is the chicken lettuce wraps - could eat just that for the main course with a glass of wine. Speaking of which - PF Changs used to offer a wine flight of three tastes for $10 ... guess they got tired of washing glasses because they dropped it. Lots of tables/booths and wait staff in this large, noisy dining room. Make reservations ahead of time to save the wait. Good place for families and kids, even better for special occasions.

If you're up for non-authentic Chinese, this is your place. I used to like the lettuce wraps but had them last night and they seemed to be just okay. Maybe they're making them different or apparently my tastes have changed. It's a large restaurant and it was fairly full. I ordered the lettuce wraps and the spinach with garlic. Take a pass on the spinach. If you sauté it at home with an onion in olive oil, you'll have a far more appealing dish than this. Also when I ordered the spinach, expecting the small they gave me (and charged me for the large) which I found mildly irksome. I asked the waiter about it and he promptly took it off the bill and charged me for the small but it seemed like a jerky way of increasing the bill.

I wish I could give this location zero stars. I went here with ONE other person on a Friday night. It was moderately busy, but there were still empty tables available, so there was no reason for the amount of crappy service we received. Our starter came out, lettuce wraps. In the beginning they were fine. We asked for some additional lettuce and when they came out they smelled slightly funny. My brain to mouth ratio must have been off because for some reason I took a bite anyway. The lettuce burned my mouth, and cause so much pain I was literally in tears. Upon telling the server, she immediately removed it and ran off to get the manager. I have never seen someone fly away with the offending food so quickly in my life, so this is totally normal for them apparently. When discussing this incident with the manager he "assured" me that the lettuce is kept boxed in the fridge separately and there "isn't anyway anything could have happened to the lettuce" and would I like to try some other lettuce, because there was no problem with the lettuce. Yes, you heard me right. I was crazy. Obviously. After that incident I just wanted to leave. I was in pain, unhappy, and completely furious that the management turned the incident around on me. Our food came, my friend was eating, and noticed her food was cold and stopped eating. We were constantly asked if everything was ok, and we constantly said no, hoping for them to at least warm it, but still nothing was done. After twenty minutes of asking for our check, we paid and rushed the hell out of there. I will never eat at this restaurant ever again, and if you want PF Changs, I highly recommend you find another location.

The rest of their food is fine. Service is fine too. Their ahi tuna was a darker color and did not taste that good. I always get ahi tuna when I see in on the menu. If you're like me and love ahi tuna, drive a little further and go to Cooper's Hawk to get their ahi tuna tacos. Yum! But all in all, I like PF Chang's food and I'm Vietnamese.

Well, we haven't been to this PF in a while, but WOW - it is definitely THE BEST PF I have ever been to, and I have been to many from LA to Boston. The food was hot and delicious - and it came out really fast! We were seated promptly and our server Danielle was great! Not absent, not smothering. Just, I don't know - psycic? -in her ability to always be there only when you needed her. Perfect. Joe, the manager, was a professional, delightful host. Just a great guy and easy to chat with. Doesn't come off at all "manager-ish". Great stuff. Well, if you ever have a taste for a great place with great food and service, head to Orland Park. I have never had a bad meal here. Enjoy!

I think her name was Carrie. She made tons of suggestions and gave her in put which, I enjoy and value. We did the $39.95 Dinner for 2 enjoyed all of it we started with Wonton Soup Which we upgraded, Crab wontons, Mongolian Beef, Changs Chicken and then went all the way with the Banana Rolls which we also upgraded. It was all so YUMMY! They dont use any MSG in the restaurant at all. Which is a big thing for me and you can really taste the quality in their food that they are serving. Yeah it is a bit Pricey but you get what you pay for. Over all a great experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the man that runs it all Joe. I always see him and his staff walking around making sure everyone has a great time and enjoying everything. I am a big foody and have worked as a server and manager and that is why I give PF Changs 5 stars. I know what it take to run a successful restaurant and they have it down every time I dine in or do takeout.

Okay, let me start out by saying that I rarely get the urge for Chinese. I like it enough when I'm eating it, but it's not really something I crave. That said, a week ago (or was it two?), I met one of my best girls for lunch on a Friday. It was empty. We were seated fast. The server kept our drinks refilled. Clean, nicely decorated restaurant. So all that is good. As a Very Picky Vegetarian, I ordered the vegetarian fried rice. The super big plus is that a single order probably could've fed me for 3-4 meals. The not-so-plus about this? It wasn't anything special. It was okay. I wasn't bowled over by the vegetarian offerings to begin with, and seeing how fried rice is almost always a safe bet, I rocked it. Good but not spectacular. Overpriced for what you get. My friend ordered something-with-chicken and paid a lot more than what I did for about twice the cost. Would I go back again? Sure, if someone invited me to go there specifically. But I probably wouldn't wake up out of a solid sleep, beckoning deep into the night for PF Chang's. Just sayin'.

We came the next day for lunch and had another great experience with Carrie. The manager (believe his name is Joe) also came over when we had a little misunderstanding to make sure it was right. I have severe gluten and dairy allergies, and this PF Chang's rocks in accommodating them. There's only 6 places that I can eat at in the Chicagoland area, so I am lucky to have a PF Chang's so close to my house! I love the plate coding system, and even though there's only a few items on the menu I can eat, they are very good. If you have food allergies, PF Chang's in Orland is for you!

My husband and I recently visited PF Chang's for the first time and loved it. We went on a Monday night and it was completely packed. Completely. I was surprised at the lack of space that the restaurant seemed to have. This is my reason for giving it four stars instead of five. There didn't seem to be a lot of "private" seating. People were seated very close to you with no dividers and all in one big room. We ordered the "2 meals for $39.99" and started with the crab wontons. Crab rangoon are my absolute favorite, like I am obsessed with it. This was AWESOME tasting. Not too greasy and just the right amount of delicious. My husband and I were both very impressed. We both ordered the sesame chicken for our entree. It was perfect. Fried just enough and just enough sauce and spice. The menu said it was a 'hot' option, but we found it to be perfectly spiced. Delicious with the brown rice option! For our dessert we ordered the fried bananas wrapped in wontons. It came with a pineapple (or maybe orange, I forget) and coconut ice cream. It was one of the best tasting desserts I have ever tasted. I was stuffed before the dessert came, but you better believe that it tasted so good that my husband and I downed that dessert. An overall great experience, and there were leftovers!!

I'm not much of a "foodie", but I do know when I like something and when I don't. I liked the Moo-Shoo Pork (sp?) I ordered here last night. Unfortunately, the other three people in my party weren't so happy with their orders, so I'm afraid I can't give more than a three star overall review. Our server was friendly and patiently took the time to explain our options. Two of us ordered from the regular dinner menu and the others ordered from the special (good options there, which included dessert). Ambiance was nice here as the colors in the surrounding decor were warm and comfortable, but the crowd noise made a normal conversation a little challenging. (Crying babies didn't help much, either, so maybe I should give those discourteous patrons a separate one star review of their own.) All in all, I'd go back...but I wouldn't be in a hurry to.

Oh, this friggin' place. Let me tell ya. Went there for wifey's birthday, she called it. Get there on a Sunday late afternoon, it's ass-jammed. No prob, I'm an alky, we'll sit at the bar. My father orders a glass of Port (he's old (school)). The hell, $12 for a glass of Port? Outchyerfriggin mind. He said it was good, but the cheap Polock in him couldn't order another one. Finally get seated. Worst seats in the hole, everyone who gets seated has to walk by us. I guess someone has to sit there, or they could just remove that table, it's horribly placed. Not to mention, the table were so close, it was quite annoying. Menu was OK. Food was alright, nothing memorable. But this is where things went to hell, and beyond. Wifey orders Fried Rice with her meal. Meal arrives, no fried rice. Server douche says it's "cooking right now, have it in a few". No prob, right? WRONG. She's almost finished with her plate when I stop the guy, "hey, where's the fried rice?, and get me another drink please." He comes back with WHITE rice, "sorry, we're out of fried, here's a big serving of white". WTF? Like they are really going to run out, after you just said they were making it? I do not tolerate liars, nor fools. And no drink. Incompetent kid who thinks we're gullible. Screw you. Needless to say, we'll never go back. And Orland is just a pain in the ass anymore. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. Junior's hotdogs has a better dining experience than this crap-hole.

So last Saturday I got a nail in the tire. Went to the dealer and had it fixed. PF Chang was just down the block. I walked in and ordered carry out. BEEF WITH BROCCOLI - MSG MSG MSG. What I can taste is MSG and tons of salt. The portion is panda express like. LEMONGRASS PRAWNS WITH GARLIC NOODLES - The menu said Jumbo pawns. I only got 70/110 frozen shrimps. Major ripped off! Garlic noodles tasted like instant ramen with garlic oil. CANTONESE CHOW FUN - I thought the tornado hit PFC. It is just a mess. Blend and the beef was dried I would say I was really disappointed. The place has BIG BOWL like decoration but the food is panda express quality. I should have went to panda express and save myself $ for gas. The after taste was bitter because of the MSG plus we both got MSG headache that night. Good bye PF Chang, hello Panda express.

We love coming here. Party of two. Busy Monday night 6pm and seated in just a couple of minutes. Perfect. Had the Pre fix menu for two. Great deal. Lots of food. Chicken lettuce wraps did not disappoint. Mongolian beef and Spicy Chicken were tasty. Finished off with the banana spring roles w/cocomut ice cream & fresh berries. Yum. Waiter was attentive. Service was fast and friendly. Cons: We asked for our dishes to be extra spicy, but they came out mild. Also, someone mixed up the soda lines in back and flavors were off. Everything tasted like diet.

First learned of this chain in CA back in the 90's. I remember it being better, but maybe I was just drunk. I haven't been to one of their outlets since. Anyway, this outlet is just dull. Reminded me of frozen entrees. I had a Sesame Chicken bowl or something for lunch. Supposed to be "spicy." It was flavorless and bland. I can't remember what my wife had, but it was about the same. Not a lot of chicken in it, either. Two "bowls" with soup starters and two, non-alcoholic beverages, $23. And the soup, blech. I ordered the Hot and Sour and it was like a brown sauce with a couple tofu pieces. The only saving grace was our server, who was very competent. I won't be back.

Had always driven by and wondered what is it like in this place. So today decided to try it and went inside. The place looked big because of the high ceilings and huge light fixtures. Very interesting decor - simple but interesting. Did not have to wait long to be seated, went in just after lunchtime. Our server was Hayley and she was great. We ordered Crab Wontons for appetizer - tasty. Than ordered a plate of Chengdu Spiced Lamb and Lemon Scallops. Lamb was just OK, had a little too much fire I guess. And scallops were good but needed some sauce to be added to the dish, not the one which was on the table though. Portions were big and plenty to get full :-) I would go back there again and try different dishes.

I love love love PF Changs. I have never gotten anything from here that I did not like. A huge + is that they have a wide selection of gluten free items for appetizers, entrees, & dessert too! I can't get enough of it:)The Chicken Noodle soup is oh so good - with a little kick to it. Their lettuce wraps are very popular and for good reason too. Had the same exact food, literally, as my previous review: Food is phenomenal. Now onto business, let's talk about the crummy bartender and the discriminatory tactics we experienced. We called ahead and found out the wait was an hour to an hour half long wait. No biggie, we decided to wait in the bar and have some cocktails and chat while we waited for our table. ANGIE P. was our bartender, asking for our id's, and after me and my female counterpart put in 4 drinks, for us two and our dates, she asked for the males id's. So they handed them over, and she scurried away to make our drink orders. No biggie right? Yeah right. About five minutes later a white male put in his order for two drinks right in front of us. She didn't ask for an id, and she asked him, in front of us, to POINT OUT the person who's other drink he put in. WOW! Ain't that a bitch! For them, pointing people out will suffice. But for four minority people, she wants id's!!!! I smell discrimination done to our minority group!!!! How would you judge it? Oh it just got worse. My brother in law didn't like his mojito, and sent it back. He had taken ONE SIP. You should've seen the look on Angie's face when we returned it. Attitude all day long. Talk about bad customer service! I know you guys are busy, but spare me. We are paying customers. If your drink sucks, it just sucks! No need for the 'Tude! Our waitress inside was very nice and helpful. Sorry, forgot her name. But I didn't think it was appropriate for her to ask for an id again, when we had already brought a drink in from the bar area. I dunno...has PF chang's been slapped with fines with serving underage MINORITY minors? I dunno if our group had a youthful look, but I doubt it! The least they can do is ask for id's across the board regardless of color Now i know why this place has a lot of one stars. Corporate PF Chang's, is there something you can do????

Dear P.F. Changs, Your food should not EVER be considered remotely close to being authentic Asian cuisine. Instead it's food that could be considered tasty but you ruin it by dousing all of your dishes in sugar and salty ladened sauces that destroy any authenticity or goodness. This food is utterly horrible and have given it 3 chances but every dish I order remains to be covered in a horribly Americanized processed goop. The sesame chicken's description is spicy only to be sweet enough to have for dessert. The noodle dishes are oily and have enough sodium to shut my kidneys down. The spicy beans were tasty but again soaked in grease and too much salt! It's Americanized garbage and suburbanites eat it up. Yes, there's one in the city but it's mostly visited by out of towners or suburbanites that don't get opportunities to eat authentic Asian food. Yes, there's a good selection of gluten free items and even though I'm not gluten intolerant, I'm bad food intolerant. Never again Phil Chang or whatever your phony name and restaurant are called.

Ho hum. Nothing to write home about. This is the second time I tried them and still not a fan, even though I really wanted to be one! Last time they burned my food, to the point where you could smell the smoke from the burnt scallops coming from the kitchen. They didn't bring it to the table, thank goodness, but the waitress was really nice and comped our whole meal because we had to wait so long for them to re-do my dinner. But again, it was so-so.

As a Chinese diner, I didn't come to this place with delusions of gradeur, much as I'm sure Mexicans don't eat at Chipotle because it harkens memories of their mothers' cooking. That said, I was still sorely disappointed. We came here for lunch, and service was slow and mediocre. All four of us ordered the Lunch Bowls, but since two in my party didn't specify that it was indeed the lunch they wanted (and not the dinner entree) the waitress did not ask either. It wasn't until the food came out that we realized her assumption. The hot and sour soup was basically a Kikkoman disaster of soy sauce and vinegar. I felt my cells shriveling up like raisins in the sun from the sudden sodium intake, and could not bring myself to have more than two sips. I ordered the almond and cashew chicken. The chicken and vegetable pieces swam around a bland sauce, not soaking up any of the flavor. The lemon chicken was only slightly better, and the Mongolian Beef was decent with good texture. (If you want really good Mongolian Beef I suggest Penang in Chinatown.) All of the rice was overcooked. Verdict: I was expecting mediocre Pan-Asian, and we got sub-par pseudo Chinese.

I just don't understand what the draw is to PF Changs. The portions are puny, drinks are overpriced, food is mediocre, service is okay. The restaurant is cool-looking, but that is not enough to justify going back.

Dined here a couple of times. This type of place isn't my typical spot but my bf loves all types of Chinese food so we've been here I think 3 times. The menu is extensive and somewhat intimidating if you're not sure what you like. We always order a variety of different things each visit and have never been disappointed. Service is good on a Friday night and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

My husband really wanted to try this place and I love him so I happily obliged. The food was good but not great. -Hot and Sour Soup was okay but I've definitely had better. -Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps were not at all what I was expecting but very tasty!! One of the better parts of dinner for sure. -Chang's Spicy Chicken had a good flavor. It was different than any other chicken dish I've had. -the Kung Pao Shrimp was... different. I enjoyed the peanuts from the dish best. I can't really put my finger on what it was that I didn't like (or found unusual) but I wouldn't order it again. Of course my husband really enjoyed this dish!! -the Sweet and Sour Pork was some of the best I've EVER had!! The sauce was just sweet enough to be so delicious and not too sweet. I would've liked more than just one pineapple wedge though. The manager was very kind and our server also although he was a bit slow. The food portions were a bit small for the price but the restaurant itself was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would not suggest to go back but if my husband would like to return I would not protest.

Were there this past weekend and again, we were not disappointed. The food was, as expected, hot and delicious. Instead of my typical Mai Tai, I went with a really dirty martini and it was THE BEST I've had to date. Really love this place and recommend to families and singles alike.

I heard mix reviews from several people that have gone to eat there. It was ALL true.....not enough servings on the plate, not much flavor, not much to select from... Do not waste your time and money here. My wife and i ordered the meal for two which was $39.99. 1 appetizer, two entree, rice selection of either white rice or brown and dessert. We ordered beef dumplings, 2 egg drop soups, sesame chicken, beef broccoli and brown rice. We also ordered the kids chicken lo mien which was good. The appetizers were OK, egg drop soup tasted as if it had a hint of crab or some sea food, brown rice was brown rice which we never had at an Asian restaurant. Our main entree had TOO much sauce added and not enough compared to other traditional restaurants. Desserts were two cake shots. ALL FOR $39.99!!! Service was not that spectacular. You are better off going to Panda Express down the street or better yet. Try Chi Tung on 95 and Kedzie!!!! I don't think we will return any time soon.

Maybe I am different in not loving this overpriced franchise. Yeah, they have a nice presentation and a cool atmosphere. But waiting in line for this food - I don't think so - unless it is a business affair where you can't just go to the local places. I would try Mo's on 159th in Orland Park. While the inside accommodations aren't as grand as PF Chang's - it is probably one of the nicest Chinese restaurants that I have experienced. And their food is real!!! Prices, of course, are also more reasonable. Give it a try and say good bye to the fake food of The Chang!

I've been P.F. Chang's multiple times here and Atlanta, but my first time writing a review. The food gets 3 stars. We almost always order off the pre-fixed menu or I order beef with broccoli. It is "upscale Chinese". I don't have any real complaints about the food.The service is excellent which bumps it up to 4 stars. My one pet peeve is that everyone at the table has a dish with rice but they only bring one bowl? Don't be stingy with the rice!!

Not so great. The food is absolutely, one hundred percent average. But the service is shit. Don't get me wrong, the service mean well and they come with smiles and thank you's, but they're just not fast, attentive or efficient. So that's a big thumbs down for pf changs.

Just had to write a review to say that I love this PF Changs! I used to live downtown and I would go to the one on Grand but the Orland Park location tops it! I love love love their pan fried pork dumplings-- we went on New Years Day and we got two orders! They are so good. They have a great server in the bar area- not sure what his name is but we always try to sit in there at one of the high tops because it feels more intimate and private. Overall a great location, the only down side is there's usually a wait (but usually you can grab a table in the bar area- although you have to be quick! They go very fast.)

I had a great dinner here last night. Came in on a Monday night and got seated right away. We started dinner out with a bottle of Pinot Grigio selected by our waiter & the salt & pepper calamari. Both were very delicious. The menu had many options to choose from so it was difficult to make a decision on what to get, so I asked our waiter what he recommended. He told me the sea bass was outstanding, and boy it was. I can't wait to go back again and have another great meal from P.F. Changs!

I love this restaurant! actually going there tnight! been there at least 4 times within the past 3months. i work at a restaurant and i go here even after i work because i love their food and their drinks are good. sometimes too much ice but can always ask for that now that i know. i tried some of my friends chicken wrap and that is amazing! i have gotten the tofu which actually tastes really good with soy and the brown rice and veggies. 3times the service was amazing just the one time i went with my guy and my cousin and her bf the server supposily said she didnt see us yet we were right there for ne one to see and other servers seen us and then finally had to hunt her down. other than that this place is my top 3fav restaurants with different style in the south burbs !!

We eat here about once a month. I do not understand when you go there on a Saturday night and they tell you there is a 3 hour wait. While the food is tasty, it is not the best I have had. I would rather eat outside as you need to shout to be heard inside. It becomes worse when some family comes in with a brood of "Yuppie Larvae" who are more interested in playing than eating. Service is good. The total experience is a hot or miss.

My experience with PF Changs was relatively good. The food is great, which is the only thing that would have me come back. I've had dishes like Ginger Chicken and Orange peel Chicken which were awesome. They were a bit on the salty side, but great nonetheless. The vegetarian dishes like the Buddha's feast was pretty good as well. The great wall of chocolate cake was good as well as a dessert. Make plenty of people eat this though because it's pretty rich. The service was attentive, but lacked a bit of personality. As was the main greeter. I kind of felt that I was being treated as if I shouldn't be here a couple of times, but hey maybe the person was having a bad day. All in all, the food is excellent, but the price is a bit steep for what you get. It's a treat to have every once in a while.

BTW, this listing for 14135 Lagrange is the correct one. The other P.F. Chang's listing (for 4135) is incorrect and I have asked the Yelp Team to fix that. We came to P.F. Chang's on a Friday night without a reservation. They told us it would be an hour wait, and they were right on target with that. Our first impression was that of waiting in the bar. It was crowded much as you would expect. We both ordered a pinot noir, it was a fairly small pour for the $7 that we paid for each glass, and the wine seemed to have gone sour. Not happy with that. Once seated, our food was good. My Kung Pao scallops was excellent, amazing actually. Debbie had the szechuan beef, and she felt it was comparable to Chinese food at family restaurants where you have much less of a wait and crowd situation to deal with. For us, service was good. It is a loud, crowded restaurant, so you are dealing with that. The restaurant decor is beautiful, but the crowded nature of the place makes appreciating the ambience difficult. People seem to be drawn to this place now because it is the latest new upscale chain to open, "fresh meat". Maybe this will be a more pleasant experience in a few months after the sparkle has worn off.

Mongolian Beef is good. Long wait to be seated, 50min. Arrived on Friday at 8:25pm and did not get seated until 9:15pm. Normally in Orland/Tinley Park area, if you arrive at most restaurants after 8:30pm on Fridays, you usually get a table in less than 10 minutes. I saw empty tables, but they were not seating people because they were either reserved or did not have enough servers. Either way, we are not dining there any more, because we hate waiting that long and do not like to make reservations. Experience not worth the wait nor reservation, better to order on-line and pickup and eat at home. Servers kept bumping into my chair as they walked by. Our server delivered dipping sauces without anything to dip into them. Our server did not give any water until we ask for it, especially important if your going to deliver spicy food. I deducted all my displeasures from my tip because I tip based on my entire experience at the restaurant: Respect, Service, and Food

The only good thing was the greeter. After that it was not happening. We were put at a table in the back. It was not crowded and they had much better tables available. We had a good view of the delivery guy going in and out not to mention the garbage. it is also sad when sitting near the kitchen and the food comes out luke warm. This is one of those places, that I enjoyed and liked but I would not probably not make it a destination for me. I doubt if I will long to back here on my own but if people I am with want to go, I will not object. The place is fairly new and the interior is decorated nicely and it is still in very good condition and clean. Our server was very good. She had a good working knowledge of the menu and was very helpful. Even though the place was jam packed, we were not ignored. I would agree that the wonton soup was outstanding, probably some of the best that I ever had. As far as my entree was concerned, I ordered the pepper steak. It does get a little complicated here though with the entrees. I was there with a party of nine so what we did was took a bit of our entree and then passed it around. I had brown and white rice on my plate along with nine different samples of entree. This led to a big medley of flavor on my plate, so I am going to have some difficulty describing the taste of any one entree accurately. I did enjoy everything though and at no point in the evening did I turn my mouth into a twisted grimace at the taste of anything. I will be required in all fairness to the place to update this review when I am there with a smaller group to better comment of the individual taste of the food. The one thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the portion size. I wasn't expecting the same amount of food that I would get at the local strip mall take out joint but the portions did seem rather small for what i paid. As I mentioned before, I will have to edit my review once I get a better tasting of the individual meals as I can't adequately state if the the taste would make up for the price and the portions.

I've been here about 4 or 5 times. I've always had a great time, great service, and great food. For starters, try the chicken lettuce wraps. It's sort of like a make-your-own taco with lettuce instead of a tortillas. Or you can try the crab wontons...which are awesome!! The things I've tried at PF Chang's and enjoyed: KungPao Chicken (not spicy, if you're not a wuss), Chang's Spicy Chicken (ditto), beef a la sichuan (flavorful), chengdu spiced lamb (nice spicy kick to it), wok seared lamb (this is good, only in small portions), moo goo gai pan (it's light and not heavy at all). Your entrees usually come with either white or brown rice. You may need to add some soy sauce or any of the other sauces that are at the table to make them a little more palatable. For dessert, I'd recommend the wall of chocolate. I'd bring about two or three friends just for this monstrous dessert. You won't finish it by yourself. For drinks I always go for the 2-3 Asian pear mojitos, and a couple of large jars of chilled sake and you are good for the night. And with sake, you can drink and get drunk, yet you won't have a hangover!!! (Caution: This is only true if the sake is of high quality. Which it is at PF Changs) This place is good for a nice, romantic night. But do make reservations ahead of time or it's going to be your fault your night goes to crap not the restaurant's. Oh, and do dress up. Great atmosphere...good service...good food. Perfect combination of elements for a great night.

The decor is really nice. Tall ceilings, large scale artwork. Beautiful bar area. They put a ton of money in this restaurant. The service tries hard. The food was less than average. Honestly, the food is much better at Panda Express and much cheaper. I would be willing to try this restaurant again, but after watching SouthPark episode of what happend to BONO after eating PFCHANG I can never go to this restaurant again.

I really don't like Chinese or Asian food much, but I love PF Changs. The food here is fresh and those little desert cups are worth the trip (my personal fave is the Smores). They have the best fried rice I've had, and I usually am not even a fan. The banana wontons are also awesome. On the particular night I went (though we got there late), the service was okay. The guy was waiting a lot of tables, so I def. wouldn't complain, overall experience A+.

*Ok, there are two separate listings in Yelp, and I selected this one because it appears to be the original one.* Now, maybe it's because I've worked in restaurants before, or maybe it's because I've watched one too many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, but I recognize that this was a poorly run dining room. The tables are jammed way too closely together and the servers have not figured out how to negotiate their way among the tables or each other. And it was obvious that the servers were pretty annoyed with each other, and the situation created by being jammed in. It is a nice touch that some dishes are 'finished' table-side and your leftovers are wrapped right in front of you, but it just doesn't seem worth all of the trouble it causes. For what looks like a pretty classy place, the level of experience of the servers, in general leaves a bit to be desired (our server (Thad, maybe?)) was pretty good but - due to the aforementioned close proximity of the tables - we were privy to the plights of the diners around us. Also, servers, if you need a manager for some reason, find a way to quietly call for one so customers enjoying their meals aren't brought into your issues. The trio of sauces at the table are a nice touch, but I don't know that it was worth the time it took to explain them. I'd like to think I'm ordering food that can stand on its own merits. The food was fine, but our server wasn't able to tell us what garnishes, etc, were in the different dishes - just that 'you'll like it'. How does he know what I'll like? Well, I didn't like it. And, had he told me what was in it, I wold have known in advance that I wouldn't like it. On a positive note, for the first time ever, I could see and taste actual Crab in the Crab Rangoon. Excellent. I do have to comment on the restrooms. Well, the men's room, at least. What ever amount of water the crappy sensor-operated faucets save, it's not worth it. It's a hassle to wash your hands without standing there waving like an idiot. And, to get to the restroom, you have to walk by the kitchen - and it disturbed me slightly that it was not the smell of Chinese food that stands out near the kitchen, but that of dirty dish water. I don't know what else to say about that - they do have to wash the dishes, but in no other restaurant is the smell so prevalent.

This is my favorite restaurant, and since I was starving I didn't really mind that the food here was not great. I had honey chicken as I always do and tasted some of my sister's honey shrimp. The meat seemed like it had been breaded two days ago, there was air in between the meat and the breading which made the breading fall off. The food also was not that hot. The waitress was not the friendliest. Come to the location by Perimeter Mall (see my other review) in Atl, GA and you will taste the real PF Chang's.

Let me begin by saying that my previous experiences at PFC's were always positive. That was not the case this evening. As we began, the evening, we ordered tea. The waitress, Jodi brought 1 pot, 1 cup, for 2 people dinning. We asked for another cup, she must have forgotten. When the tea was poured, it was barely warm, just above room temp. When I mentioned this, she said, "That's just the way it is. That's the way it comes out of the spout. It won't come any hotter." She also forgot the soft drink my wife ordered and we had to ask for this twice. We ate the appetizers, however the chicken in the lettuce chicken wrap was served cold, not even warm. When the entre came, the waitress served the entre and never removed the dirty appetizer plates. This seemed very unusual and somewhat awkward. She returned and said, "I can bring large size dinner plates, if you prefer". She brought the plates and set them on the far side of the table, but still did not remove the dirty empty appetizer plates in front of us. I then stacked the dirty plates on the far side of the table so we could eat dinner. As Jodi, our waitress was cleaning and setting other tables in the area, she on 2 occasions shouted over from the other tables, "How's everything?", and later called out, "Everything OK over there?" as she busily went about her task. After dinner, she removed the dinner plates and there was food debris on the table, (sorry we're sloppy Chinese food eaters). She never wiped the dirty table. Although as she returned to ask if we wanted to see the dessert menu, she noticed but again, never cleaned the very messy table. She returned with the check and once again didn't clean the dirty table as we finished our beverages. Hoping someone on the staff would notice, I stood up and with my napkin, wiped the table myself. Needless to say, at this point I was very disappointed with the overall dining experience, especially compared to my previous experiences at PFC's. I noticed on the bill I was invited me to fill out a survey, so I began jotting down points regarding my experience. When the staff noticed this, the treatment turned from poor and unprofessional to outright purposely rude and offensive. The waitress never returned to pick up the charge card, she sent someone else. As we left, my wife turned around and noticed that as the hostess said, "Thank you", her and her associate laughed and made "an obvious grimacing face" behind our backs as we walked out the door. My dear friends at PFC's, my wife and I dine out 4 to 5 times per week. We've dinned at fine dinning and casual restaurants across the country and internationally. I have been a contributing critic for various web sites, such as "Digital City.com". If this is what I can expect from PFC's, you can enjoy your success without my patronage.
