EXCELLENT place! Friendly neighborhood pub fare. Servers and owner made sure that we were always taken care of. Food was delicious - best burger I had in a long time. Not from the area but wanted to try Messie's on the suggestion of other Yelp reviewers. We were glad we stopped! Will be back again next time we are in the area.

They have great burgers, chicken strips and fries. (Curly fries, hell yes.) The waitresses are friendly. However it is very plain inside, they could decorate a little.

A great burger and beer is all you'll need here. Chicken wings are great and so is the service. Daily specials on food and beverages. The fried chicken to go helps out when you don't feel like cooking.

Good burgers. Cheap beer. Exactly what you're looking for in a country bar. My daughter and I had just spent the morning at a friend's property out in the country shooting targets and decided we wanted to eat before heading home. This place hit the spot. Small thing that made it great: unlimited peanuts to munch on while you wait.

Always a good choice. Great food, great staff, great drinks. Music is good too, but not so loud you cannot hold a decent, normal conversation. No shouting necessary.

The real deal. Friendly staff. Great food. Comfortable setting. Not from the area, I was just passing through and stopped in for dinner. I had the cod sandwich, which was big and good. The cook even stepped out of the kitchen to ask if I liked it. I didn't drink since I was driving, but the beer selection looks nice. It's amazing to watch the staff -- they genuinely seem to like each other, and genuinely seem interested in the customer. I guess Messies styles itself as a kind of biker bar, but don't feel intimidated. I think kids will feel welcome also. Thanks, Messies, for making me feel welcome.

Was in town for a seminar for work at the Etnyre plant . Our lunch was provided by them. And let me tell it is was some of the best food I have had in a while. Coming from a bar I was really surprised the quality and how flavorful the food was. Definantly a must stop.
