This location is by the Sears and Nordstrom within the mall on the second floor. My friend and I walked around trying to look for it only to be on the other side of the mall. The restaurant is very clean and almost new looking. The server was very attentive and very sweet. My friend and I ordered the bacon guac burger and the robin red burger. We wanted to split the burger and the waitress was so attentive, she recommended the the bacon guac will be cut but not the robin red because otherwise the egg on top will get messy. She made what could be a normal whatever experience into something a little extra and we appreciated that. Bottomless fries. Thats one star already! Freckled lemonade. Another star.

While my daughter and I was at the mall last night, she spotted Red Robin upstairs. She begged me to take her there. We glanced at the menu and noticed it was more burgers than anything else. I guess it makes since because they specialize in burgers. I didn't want to get anything that costs too much because I didn't want to spend my money on something that might taste bad. Anyways, we ordered the basic cheeseburgers with the fries. While my daughter waited for the order, I went to another store. By the time I got back, she was tearing that burger up telling me how good it was. And I agree with her, it's very good! The fries were PERFECT, not over or undercooked. The reason why I gave it 4 stars because Steak N Shake burgers are better. But the Red Robin's fries are better than the Steak N Shake fries. I would definitely go again!

Average burger joint at best. Search other sports before choosing this one just because they have bottomless fries. Service is not that great either.

First and last time at this location! To begin, we had a horrible waiter. It honestly seemed as if he had his soul sucked out of him. I know everybody has bad days but come on... you're representing the restaurant. Second of all, the food was merely mediocre. My friend and I got the California chicken sandwich and it was by far the worst chicken sandwich either of us have had in our entire lives. No lie, I would have rather gotten a fake processed McChicken sandwich from McDonald's. Long story short we all had horrible stomach aches that night. There's nothing more to say. So, if you like cold food go ahead and enjoy Red Robin.

2 important things that stand out when going to restaurants: Food and The People The People: The Red Robin in Oakbrook Mall is my favorite one. I always have positive things to say about this place and they have not let me down (yet). The bartender turned manager (named Steven) is great! He's welcoming, always has a smile on his face, super funny and all around a good worker. Steven, if you're reading this, you get a 5-Star rating in my book! Food: Love their burgers. I know there are a lot of burger joints out there but Red Robins has a very nice variety appealing to your taste and cravings. I gotta say my favorite burger has to be their A1 Peppercorn burger. Love A1 sauce and love those crunchy onion shreds they put on top of it. My second favorite is their Banzai Burger. Something about that grilled pineapple makes me want to put grilled fruit on top of my burgers now. It works so well. They recently came out with new burgers and will definitely try (and update here) their newest creations. Anyway, cooked to your liking and pretty fast order time. BTW, if you're a frequent visitor here, become a rewards member. They have some nice deals especially when you're a committed Red Robin-er like myself. And a nice perk too is you get a free burger on your b-day. Can't beat that! It's your birthday, you get free food!

I haven't been to a Red Robin in years so it was nice to see a menu change. I ordered a guacamole and bacon cheese burger with fries, my husband ordered the royal red robin cheese burger with fries and my son got mac n cheese from the kids menu. I would say the food was really good. No problems with our orders or doneness of our burgers and it all came out pretty quickly. I also really liked that they had a section for strollers. More restaurants should do this because it's a pain to fold up the stroller and find somewhere to put it. Their steak fries are and have always been bottomless, but they give you a lot less fries now. I was full after my burger though so I didn't need to ask for more. It's probably for the best anyway to keep people from overeating. Our waitress seemed distracted, but she did her job. The restaurant and bathrooms in general were pretty clean and I have no major complaints.

4 stars for location, value, friendly service and burger selection. Not to mention their bottomless fries and awesome sweet potato fries. This one is located in Oak Brook terrace mall next to other restaurants and shopping shopping shopping! Tons of burger choices and customization. Can't beat that. Must have: Southern Charm- 2 words: candied bacon. Nuff said!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after some shopping. We had a poutine appetizer which was on the house because service was a little slow(Not that I thought it was, but first place to ever pay for my food, especially without me saying anything. That display of awesome alone will have me coming back.) Then we proceeded to order our three gourmet burgers which were the bomb. We also had drinks, I liked my guiness, Jameson, milk shake. The only reason this place gets 4/5 is because at the end I got served stale cheesecake which you could tell had just been sitting out there by not just the taste but also the look. Very gummy. Oh well still definitely worth the comeback. Delicious bottomless fries too, both crunchy and soft. Hard to do with bigger cuts of potato.

Beer Shake. I had never even heard of this... then i tried the Blue Moon beer shake. It was truly a unique experience! i could taste the Blue Moon but the wheaty sweet part, and the orange! But the rest is a creamy milkshake, i didnt think this would work but it does.. Oh and the burgers are legendary as always. Its easy to rack up a big tab though.

Fantastic service, decent burgers. Something is missing from the "burger" aspect of it though. They have the toppings, fries and service nailed, but each time I've had a Red Robin burger, I have found that the meat isn't well seasoned or very flavorful. It always seems to underwhelm me. I signed up for their rewards and got a free bday burger, so my husband and I came in for lunch. I went with a Prime Chophouse burger and my husband went with the Whiskey River. I loved the horseradish sauce on mine, as well as the sauteed onions. The mushrooms didn't taste fresh though and were the low point of the meal. I had one bite of the Whiskey River and loved the sauce on top. Their fries are on point and you can never get enough of their special seasoning. Our server was really awesome and made sure that we were in and out within an hour. I'd be willing to give this Red Robin another try, but I'm not a fan as of yet.

I don't remember how long it's been since I visited Red Robin but damn it's been a minute! Stopped in here for a quick lunch and I must say, I'm never disappointed in Red Robin. Since back in the day, they've had me at bottomless fries. Thing is that I can really only eat one basket, but the fact that I could refill my fries whenever....well that is just a no brainer. This location is on the third floor in Oak Brook mall (next to Claire's), a little weird but I think it's a great addition to the mall. I love their decor, specially all the pictures and framed quotes on the ceiling. But we're not here to talk about the decor, are we? I had the Burnin Love - Fried jalapeño coins, tangy salsa, Pepper-Jack, tomatoes and chipotle aioli. Mmmmm, that makes me hungry just thinking about it. All the items combined make for a great burger. Nothing goes better with meat than a little heat. Lets not forget about the bottomless fries too, which I never take advantage of. Ughhh. My friend had the BLTA Croissant - turkey breast, hardwood-smoked bacon, mayo, tomato and avocado. Healthy AND delicious. #winning Unfortunately, it was lunch time and we had to go back to work so no booze for us, but it's nice to see they offer a variety and I'd love to try one of their beer shakes. Red Robin has come a long way and now they're in my backyard!

There burgers are alright. Problem is so many other places make great burgers like dmk 5 guys hamburger heaven and just about any other restaurant around. I like the bottomless fries and broccoli they offer. Do I appreciate the royalty program as well. This oakbrook location has very hard access to it as its in the 3 rd floor and when it's cold outside there's bunch of snow to park and to walk thru. Also the restaurant itself is somewhat tight everywhere. They got some neat craft beer selections and I think. Service is just okay. Just too much competition around. Decent spot once in a while.

We sat at a high top table in the bar area, rather than wait 35 minutes for a dining room table. It worked out great for us. We were pretty secluded and away from the loud, family groups. Our waitress was very experienced and provided us with a great experience. The first thing she did was tell us how to sign up for the rewards program. While she was getting our drinks, I signed up and have now earned 3 out of 10 meals required for an award. My hamburger was delicious. It was the Southern Charm Burger. Black Angus patty glazed with brown sugar, topped with candied bacon, honey barbeque sauce, sharp cheddar and caramelized onions, on a ciabatta bun. YUM!! Another entree we ordered was the chicken fingers. These are plump, very crunchy chicken fingers. There were about 6 fingers to the order. The endless fries are a good idea but truthfully, both the fries that came with our entrees and the extra fries came to us at room temperature, not hot. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention throughout the meal. We'll come back to this location.

Just left after a Sunday lunch. Waited 10 minutes before we even got water. Went through the entire meal short 1knife. Our server was either new or over worked. I had the Royal Red Robin burger with the fried egg on it it was delicious but it took an act of Congress to get more than one napkin. Not to mention the slow manner in which we were served or water refilled, which I don't believe we did more than once. Then we received somebody else's bill at $59 when ours was only $33. Good food bad service oh well
We've been to this location before with the same horrible service. The food was good as it usually is at red robin. I think the bottomless fries and drinks are a good deal, especially the specialty lemonades. Out server was absolutely horrible. We were seated right away. We had already decided what we wanted to order by the time our waitress came to our table; it really was only a little on the slow side (we decided on our order quickly that day) Food came out hot. But once we had our food our waitress seemed to disappear. My husband saw her talking with some man in the hallway by the restrooms. I would have preferred she refilled our drinks. The worst was when I asked for a box for my leftovers. At that time we also ordered dessert. The stack of donuts was delicious but took less time than it did to bring a box. I enjoyed eating around my plate of food! We had finished dessert and had been sitting at our table watching the wait outside increase before she brought the check. We had payment ready right away. We watched her take the tray of drinks in her hand BACK to the kitchen to swipe our card! No wonder she was so slow! The manager (who had spent a good 5-10 mins talking with the table next to us about his allergic reaction) finally came to our table to ask how dinner was but only after we said something to our waitress about finally bringing the check. This was just so disappointing. It really seemed like poor management who didn't train staff properly.

I've been to the Red Robin in Orland Park three times and the 1st two times were great. The 3rd time I went was terrible. That 3rd time was 4 years ago which should help explain how awful the food was. Today, as my wife, kids and I were walking past the Red Robin at Oak Brook Center and over her objections, I convinced my wife we should stop here for dinner. Honey, you were right and I was wrong....there I said it. The kids had the standard kids meal hamburger and cheeseburger. My wife had the Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburger and I had the Shroom Burger. I ordered my burger with some pink and either I'm color blind or brown is the new pink. IMO, it's an excusable mistake but the buger's char was overpowering. I love char but the burger tasted like it was cooked with a flamethrower. The kids burgers were cold which they didn't notice but Momma reminded me of this fact multiple times during dinner. Finally, my wife hated her burger. I took a bite and it seemed like it was cooked correctly but she didn't like relish. I chalk that up to her bad choices....ahem. Anyway, on a positive note, the service was good. The waitress and manager were attentive and courteous which gave them an additional half star. The aweome onion rings gave them another half star. I hate burning a restaurant on Yelp that has good service but the weight of the awful burger meal that cost nearly $50 compelled me to warn others. If you like onion rings and a good waitstaff, go to Red Robin If you don't mind paying a premium price for a premium burger (that's me), you have been warned because you'll pay a premium price for a very below average burger.

This has been by far the worst service I have received at a restaurant in my life. We walked in and were seated right away however it took forever for our server to even greet us. While we were waiting for the waitress to come to our table another worker brought a meal that wasn't ours. He seemed very confused but then walked away. It took so long for our waitress to come to our table that at that point we just wanted to get our food and leave. Our waitress did apologize but it just seemed like maybe she was new? Anyway we ordered. I had a burger, which was very good, however my boyfriend had the fish and chips and it was horrible! The fish looked and tasted as if it was pulled straight from the freezer, battered and fried that way. It was watery on the inside, it was gross. I believe it was maybe the manager who came to our table and asked about our meal, and did not charge us for such horrendous dish. Definitely will not be visiting this place again.

Came there with my 2 sisters my 3 neice and my 2 old daughter and dad. The portions for the app s were so cheesy and looked old I was shocked. The broccoli with my child's grilled chicken was so dried out to serve to a 2 yr old seriously? ?? The alcoholic beverages were good I must say . The waitress wast even clearing my table so a mess with 4 kids was piling up. Then I had a free appatizers for onion rings I got online clearly for Red Robin. The waitress was clueless and had to have her manager aprove a 4 dollar app when we were ordering 130 in food. Idk this location is new but I hope gets better cause we need a nice kid friendly rest in oakbrook mall

Tasty burgers, endless fries, low prices... What's not to like? This is a brand shiny new outpost and it's a bit fancier than others I've been to. The staff was all eager and well trained. We went with pretzel bites for our appetizer, which were hot and tasty with the beer cheese. I ordered the California chicken, my husband had the wolverine promotional burger. Both good, though my sandwich started to fall apart toward the end. I actually kind of miss the wrapping they used to do, I was losing my bun. Worth noting: you can now swap your fries for a salad or upgrade to something else easily. Service was friendly though our server was a little weird. But not in a bad way. While this isn't the best burger in town, it's good for what it is, and I'm sure we'll be back.

We probably wasted about 45 minutes here between waiting for our checks, food, and for someone to come check on us. I could have been home an hour earlier (I live in the city) but slow service was the reason it was a later night than I anticipated. So frustrating! I'm seriously not someone that is going to typically complain about waiting for things...I know and understand what it's like to be a server...but this was just bad. I do feel bad writing such a poor review though, because everyone we encountered at this location was super nice and very welcoming. A star for that! I ordered the A-1 Peppercorn burger and was really disappointed. There was a ton of sauce that mixed in with everything which is normally a good thing for me, but it made the burger unenjoyable. I liked that the bun was seasoned bread, but the competing flavors of the entire thing was just way too much. Sauce, peppercorn, bacon, seasoned bun...where are the flavor brakes?? Our server looked like she got busy, which was fine. I get that. I'm still pretty salty that I had to wait to receive a water and napkins for a solid 15 minutes, though. My hands were super greasy and I didn't have anything to wash down the cacophony of flavor down! I'm assuming that the woman that came around to check on everything was a manager. She asked how everything was, and at this point, our server hadn't been to visit us in about 15 minutes. We needed more broccoli, sweet potato fries, and regular fries, and each of us needed refills on waters. She wrote down everything that we needed, and returned with our waters shortly after. However, I only ever got my regular fries, while the other two were left waiting for their bottomless fries. When it came time for the check, we just decided not to even say anything because we just wanted to get out of there. We appreciated our servers apologies for the wait, but in reality, we can't get back the 45 minutes that we wasted waiting for her. Annoying, and thankfully we will never be back.

Only 3 stars due to our excellent waitress, otherwise would be lower. They seem to be under-staffed as there were many empty tables, but our wait was long & when we finally got our food it was cold. Glad this wasn't my first experience with Red Robin & knowing other locations rise to better standards. Kudos to our waitress for staying calm & working hard.

Stephen was an amazing server, and was on point from beginning to end. We ordered the same burger, one well and one medium, and both were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was great and service was quick. Surprised at what a good overall experience we had!

I've carried out of here twice- The first time it was fine, a solid three star. The second time though, it was awful. One star all the way, hence the two-star average. The second time, I ordered the avo-cobb-o salad. I've got strict dietary needs and made sure to mention that when ordering. Twice. I've found that just saying "no carrots, please" doesn't always ensure a dearth of carrots. When the result of ingesting one carrot sliver is a lengthy hospital visit, you betcha I'm gonna watch my ordering like a hawk. What I should have got: a salad of greens with grilled chicken, avocado, blue cheese, bacon, olives, and hardboiled egg. A side of balsamic vinaigrette and a piece of bread. What I go: limp, wet, BROWN lettuce, rotting avocado, warm blue cheese, bacon (no faults with bacon!), olives, hardboiled egg, and carrots. They did remember the dressing. Notice the lack of: CHICKEN. (bread was missing too, but I wasn't crying over that.) I was really upset about the fact that this salad not only looked "blah" it looked like someone was storing the food outside for a couple days. Even my garbage-disposal assistant wouldn't eat it, which is a line I've never seen drawn. The food itself was less than one star- zero if Yelp would allow. I called the restaurant to talk to a manager and explained why I was dissatisfied and asked for a refund. She offered to send me a gift card for more than the amount I spent, but I honestly do not intend to return to this Red Robin (I can't take chances with my allergies), and she refunded my money. I will mention that I've never had any issues with other RR locations (they are all solid 3s).

RED ROBIN ... YUM! I have got to say that even though I know that there are a whole lotta burgers out there that can truly say they are gourmet (example 16 dollar burgers at Gordon Ramsey's Burgr in Vegas) these are pretty darn good. Just to explain, I eat healthy, watch my calories, salt intake, drink water etc. So when I do splurge, which really isn't much of a splurge when I get it my turkey burger lettuce wrapped, no bun, no mayo, no cheese. It tastes delightful. So do literally, the 5-6 fries that I eat. Reviews here say that they are not seasoned ... honestly .. they are perfect. (I'm a girl that loves salt too, I can drink fish sauce with Filipino and Thai food folks). They have salt and a bottle of their seasoning on the table, if something is tasteless, then add a few shakes. My last visit here was different. I had a new server and she forgot to bring out my french onion soup (no cheese), so they comped it. That was nice of them. I look at my turkey burger and it was wrong too, so I didn't have to pay for that either, even though I said they didn't have to comp my burger, but they insisted. So that in itself shows great customer service and I was satisfied. I would definitely come back again!

First time at this location... We are sooo glad e no longer have to travel 30 minutes for Yummm.... Everything we had: whiskey river bbq, chicken sandwich and kids meal was cooked to perfection. Our server, Gianna was attentive, funny, and just what we needed after a long day at work. We signed up for a rewards program today... Eat here 5 times in 5 weeks and get $20 off your order. Yes, $20! I will have no program getting the $20... If you enjoy good burgers and bottomless fries... Head to this Red Robin, yummm.

Service has slipped and the food has gotten bad - not up to the Red Robin standards. Fish and chips came with 7 fries - yep, the actual count was 7 and then the server was shocked that we asked for more. Burger was below average - certainly not the Red Robin quality that it once was. There are many better options in this mall - go to one of those instead. They seem to have stopped caring at this location.

Wheaton location has WAY better service, will drive 15 minutes longer just to go to that location after the terrible service at lunch today. Even our first grader remarked upon this. To top it off, the server knew it was my birthday, we had to beg for refills for fries and drinks, we only got a fry refill for one person versus two and didn't have the energy or time to argue given we also had a 4 and 6 year old with us for lunch. Plus some chosen kids were given balloons while we were dining, kids thought they'd get balloons upon leaving and weren't offered any and left feeling bad.

I see the yelpers over-rating are at it again eh? come on best burger ... in what universe? flagship burger very similar to bascailly a brazier burger from dairy queen lol. unlimted fries are lacking. garlic ones alsmost inedible imo. regular ones zero special, not real hot. foood and drinks took way way way too long to come out. burger not hot. am I tought to please ?Oh yeah. Do I expect superb fare at a mall ?nah, but I do expect better than this. It's a good thing I hate TGIF's casue this woudl be a contender if that werent just so bad. all in my opinion only!

Wow. That is all I have to say about this place. The service here was so terrible! Our waiter didn't look at me once, I mean at all.. He spoke only to my fiancé. He didn't look at me when I ordered, was handed my food or when I paid. Burger was just okay. Fries were cold. Plate was dirty on the edges. I could have made a better burger at home. Won't be back

Excellent service from a very friendly staff. Enjoyed my meal and found everyone to be attentive and friendly.

Took over an hour to get 2 burger and 2 kids meal. Very slow service, over priced and not that tasty for the price. Would not go back.

Pretty good burger. Loved the onion rings. Have been here twice in past month while shopping. Service friendly and fast.

I was in the mood for a burger several weeks back and stopped in with my 2 very young daughters and my wife. Jemma was our waitress. What an absolute joy. Fantastic attitude treated my children extremely well, took extra time to stop and chis miss. Burger was delicious and had a very very gratifying meal. We will be back.

(5)Mary M.
(1)Kayli M.
What a great experience! Our waitress was so nice and everything was delicious. I just wish the prices were a little lower and it would be 5 star worthy. Try the burnin' love, its amazing!
