This Starbucks is the closest and I think the only one near the base so I can just imagine how many people go here every single day. That being said, service can be pretty slow when they are super busy. One time the line was so long at drive thru that I just went inside for my order, there was only one person ahead of me but my drink still took about 15 minutes. That was probably the longest I've ever had to wait at a Starbucks. Also, the cafe itself is pretty small so there isn't a lot of seating and it just doesn't feel as cozy. As for quality of drinks, it's on and off for me, most drinks are just right but whenever I get a frappucino there's something off, either too watery or overly sweet. I'm gonna be back though...but only because the location is convenient to the area.

Service is bad!! Take forever to get your drink! And leta not talk about the carry-out, cause you can wait a good 20 minutes before you get ur drink!!!

Your "third place." It's like your "fourth meal," but with comfort and class. Starbucks isn't just where your order your caffeine fix and leave, it's where the baristas know your name, drink and ask you how your kids are doing in school. They are constantly trained to perfection. They want your drink right every time at every location. Consistency is key. If it's not right, they will make it so and compensate you for your time and money spent. Starbucks isn't all about profit, it's about you. You're the one spending $5 on your daily latte -- it should be perfect and if it's not, you should let them know. I am a little biased, seeing as I used to work for this company, but every time I walk in here, I feel like family and the vast majority of the partners have no idea who I am. I have walked in here having a royally horrendous day and left feeling amazing.

It's a Starbucks. If you've been to one you've been to them all. While many people prefer Dunkin' Donuts coffee or other brands, Starbucks is my coffee choice. This is my normal Starbucks store. The service is fairly decent however the drive-through line is always long and it's kind of loud inside. But again I'm going for coffee not to sit in a quiet place and read a book.

If you want to drink a cup of coffee, and you are near it, you gotta try this Starbucks place. Man, they have a LOT of coffee! I didn't see Maxwell House on the menu (totes my faves), but I bet they have it since they have so much coffee. Only complaint is they seemed to have a lot of coffee from 3rd world countries. Must be cheaper?? These places aren't usually known for quality products. I suggest they get their coffee from countries with better quality control and food safety standards....like America, Canada, or even plaves like Germany. Just a suggestion.

Its a great day for a Hot Chocolate

SLOWEST Starbucks on the planet. This time it took 15-20 minutes to get a drink. It always takes much longer for a drink here than other Starbucks.

Fast drive-thru, had the St. Louis mug in stock, but not the Illinois one. Hurray. 5 stars because this was the best tasting Starbucks I have had in the past 6 months. (writing this while drinking one of the worst tasting... ) Friendly staff, and again. FAST drive-thru/well made coffee.
(5)Brian M.
I have had better experiences with Starbucks, so I am pretty sure the problem here is with their staffing. I arrived to a busy store and waited in line for my turn, I placed my order and moved over to the waiting area. While waiting I noticed two other customers, who had ordered after myself get the same drink I had ordered get their before me? Overall the drinks are what you come to experience from Starbucks, my complaint is about the service. Another problem with this store is the way that the its setup, the Drive Thru is a total mess and often blocks regular parking during peak hours. I have learned to never park in spots close to the building, always park in the spots away otherwise you risk getting blocked in by drive thru traffic!

Disclaimer - I ran the Honolulu airport Starbucks overnight shift for a few months several years ago. Why do they train their employees to swirl the F'ing cold drinks!!?? When they do liquid gets in the rim of the F'ing lid and it will drop in you. Maybe that's why I got so many tips from the flight crews in HNL - I used to point out how clean their beverage lids were when I made them drinks. My barista today slung my iced latte at me and closed the window. I waited u till she noticed I hadn't left and asked for a napkin to wipe the sloppy cup and she happily gave me (literally) a stack 4 inches thick. It's the little things that used to make Starbucks a great place - now it's just a McDonalds with a different name...
(1)Nathanial G.
They have a ever rotating staff and usually the coffee isn't as good as other Starbucks. There are better places to go in the area. The junction and the coffee place across the street from the movie theatre are better.

I had a friend go to the Starbucks location to get a Venti iced latte for me. They were out of the Venti iced cups and my friend asked if they could do 2 grande for the price of the Venti. They would not and did not accommodate for their ordering or supply issues. I usually do not get Starbucks but today called for one. They were also rude. Starbucks please understand that just a simple gesture will go along way.
(1)Sandra B.
So, they have redeemed my faith in customer service by providing consistent friendly service. Maybe the person I dealt with was having a bad day or maybe she was a horrible person (don't see her working here anymore). Either way, here I sit with a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand and a smile on my face!!!
(4)Sean W.
Very good Starbucks location. They are always on point with my fairly straight forward latte order. I usually add a shot of espresso and you would not believe how often various locations forget that or even forget to add flavoring syrup. Their employees are always fast and friendly which unfortunately for my wallet, influences me to keep stopping by for calorie dense goodness. Coffee snobs and hipsters hate them, but I can't drink anything else. The only downside is the fairly awkward drive through arrangement. On a busy day it loops around the entire building. I just returned from a business trip to New Jersey where there is a Dunkin Donuts on nearly every corner and to me, there is no comparison if you like premium coffee drinks: Starbucks beats Dunkin.
(4)Kimmy N.
Wow, first off, I would have to say that I will never ever return to this location ever again! The past few times my ice caramel macchiato have been terrible. I'm aware if your drink doesn't taste right, they will remake it for you. Sure, that's fine but it's not worth it when you're going through the drive thru and you've already driven off. Anyways, today (04/27/15) I decided to go inside and order. The girl didn't look to excited to be at work today, she was all attitude from the start. I told her what I wanted and asked if they could pull the expresso shots correctly. The barista (pale white skin with a black crochet scarf/hairband) had a very rude attitude said "what do you mean? Do you mean pour it in the cup correctly". I had mention that the past few times I've been here my coffee tasted burnt. And she rolled her eyes and apparently didn't understand the Starbucks lingo. She continue to argue with me but I told her to forget it and I walked out. You would think that Starbucks would train their staff well and make them knowledgable on their products, coffee, machines, etc...but this girl was all attitude. If you're not happy with your job, go find something else. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on customers. A matter of fact tell your manager that you shouldn't be speaking to customers today.

This is, by far, my favorite Starbucks location. It's conveniently located on my way to I-64, so I frequently visit on my way to work. The drive-thru staff is friendly and fast - even if the line is all the way out of the parking lot! The food is always hot and the drinks are made-to-order.
(5)Lindsay P.
I love the convenience of the drive thru window. The employees are very friendly, always smiling and give me my coffee quickly. Today I tried the grande caramel flan latte with an extra shot of espresso and skim milk. I like my coffee strong! No need for any extra sweetener because the coffee already caramel flan goodness in it. It was delicious! This is my second day in a row getting this treat! Hopefully it will fuel me to ace my online nutrition test here in a min. All in all, you can't go wrong this Starbucks location. Even during the busy hours the staff is on their A game. Try a latte today!
(5)Craigus N.
Busy place in the am but good staff
(5)Kevin W.
Well yeah it's a Starbucks. There's not much more to say besides that. Get ready to wait in line.
(3)Kari A.
Every time I go here the service is super super slow. They take forever to make drinks and it looks like the employees are just walking back and forth not doing much. Very frustrating since Starbucks mission is all about customer service and getting orders fulfilled as quickly as possible.
(1)Matthew M.
Consistently slow service. Very, very slow service. Drive through regularly takes about 18 minutes longer than it should.
(2)Tracey T.
Just stood at the cash register for six minutes while 7 employees walked back and forth without even greeting me. They would look, then look away. Needless to say we walked out. Not sure I want to go back to this one.
(1)Stacia R.
Should have stopped anywhere before here. Stopped for a smoothie. Thought I'd get one with protein and skip a full lunch. Ordered the Strawberry/Banana and a banana nut bread. Twenty mins later after I watch him pick up and put down my cup and make coffees for people that came in several minutes after I came, barista hands me some coffee drink. That's a smoothie? Oh I read it wrong. Then he goes to make to come back and tell me they don't have the right protein and asked if I want the new protein. Sure as long as there is no dairy. He proceeds to dump in 2 scoops then before mixing it turns to tell me that oh it does have milk in it. Uhm. Yeah. That's a problem. So now he's on his third remake of my drink. So no joke and less exaggeration it took nearly 20 min for one drink in w store with two people in front of me and one behind me (who walked out before me). $9. I could have gotten a full meal at Panera way faster. Next time.
(3)Down H.
So slow......drive through and the inside. Clean, nice worker bees, but so slow. (Latte was good though!)
(1)Tamaja T.
I love Starbucks but there is always an extremely long line in the Drive-thru and inside. The parking lot is too small to handle the amount of traffic that is always there.
(3)Rachael O.
The service here is pretty slow but the staff is friendly, which makes up for the slow service a bit. I definitely would not go to this Starbucks if I was in a rush. The staff seemed to be pretty knowledgable on the menu, which is also a plus. One of the baristas suggested that I add the white chocolate mocha to my drink and it was delicious. If the service was faster then I would bump up the stars.
(3)Suzi M.
Convenient location with drive through for my work commute. I usually end up here around 6pm (night shift!) & 10am on Sundays before church. Drinks are good but the service is painfully slow with my average drive thru wait at 15 minutes. Inside service is not any faster. And I know rush times are challenging but maybe they need more staffing during these times?? I've been to Starbucks at the busiest areas in LA and sevice was very quick.... right now, I'm sitting in the drive through line, there are 2 people in line, 2 people waiting to pick up their drink, 3 people ahead of me in drive through, & I've been waiting 18 minutes and counting... sigh.
(3)A C.
I always great and friendly service here. My order always taste great. The only downfall is the speed of service. This store is really slow, but due to it's convenient location it doesn't make sense to drive to another store. Just wish they would pick up the speed, I've never waited less then 20 minutes in the drivethru!
(3)Faith K.
This used to be a wonderful Starbucks. Fast. Accurate. Clean. Super friendly. No longer. No matter the time of day there is always a wait. Even when I'm the only person in line I can sit there for 5 minutes or more for a basic latte or macchiato. Yesterday, however, took the cake. Their coffee tasted horrible. We had them remake the drink and it tasted worse the second time. And while we got a refund, it took 5 minutes for that to go through as well. So what should have been a (relatively) quick stop turned into a THIRTY MINUTE ordeal that made me late for an appointment in St. Louis. Lest you think this is my issue for being picky, my daughter spit out the drink. It's the same drink I've gotten for 10 years now. On our previous trip there, the barista slammed the window in my face, then rolled her eyes while I tried to get her attention ( thinking I couldn't see her behind the film). They are almost always OVER staffed, but they just walk around randomly, wiping dirt around on tables or counters with filthy rags, and stopping to chat and complain about customers in front of the customers. It really, really sucks. After over a decade as a very, very loyal Starbucks user, I'm finally broken of my "addiction", particularly where this store is concerned.
(1)Nicole R.
Had one of my worst Starbucks experiences today. While making my drink the lady goes to put whip cream on it then asks do you want whip? I replied no ma'am it's a coffee light frappucino. So she makes it then brings it over so I asked what drink it was she gave me a very rude look and goes what so I asked again then she replied caramel frapp. I then told her I ordered a coffee light she scorned replied well I can't read the writing on the cup then decided to slam the cup into the trash and finally re made my drink. She was a lady with glasses and long blonde hair in a braid

I've been saving my big 400 review: Shout out to Joel! You made my night! My 22 month old spilt her "coffee" aka vanilla frother and I was so embarrassed/ upset. He came over mopped it up, talked to us and also made her another. Mad props my friend. I've been here over 80 times in the last year and you made this the best experience. Thank you!
(5)Susan F.
Fantastic Starbucks. They not only have a drive through but also outdoor seating as well. They are the quickest Starbucks I have ever been to. Some things that I noticed a little differently at this one than the Starbucks I have been to in the past is that all four employees wore headsets, I am assuming to communicate with each other. They also print out little stickers and place them on the cups of what you are ordering, verses writing it out with a sharpie marker. This Starbucks is still clean...the chairs inside are comfy and there the armrest is big enough to place a coffee on the it. The employees were much friendlier than my neighborhood Starbucks...
(4)Shannon E.
Yum! They have a drive thru too.
(5)Nathan M.
Great place, friendly staff. What I picture as a Starbucks
(4)DJ J.
Their stuff is way overpriced in general, which is why I just buy their teas and make them at home. Staff-wise, I've always had wonderful experiences with them. They are very sweet and tip worthy!
(4)Starr P.
Wanting Starbucks in this area is an inconvenience. Needing some coffee before or after your long day at work should be an easy task but here it's not. It's stressful. You have to decided if you have the time or energy to get starbucks. Because it takes 15 minutes in the drive thru to get some coffee. And it's no better in the store. Now, this is not the fault of the employees. They are doing great! It's the company's fault for neglecting the needs of the community. And we need another drive thru starbucks. I personally have written emails to all the right people and they simply thank me for my email. I'm originally from California so I am used to a Starbucks on every corner. But here in this area the closest Starbucks from this one is the one at the mall. (Which is also packed) It would benefit Stabucks to put in more Starbucks in our area. This is simple supply and demand people. I'm about to venture out and try other coffee places because I don't have the time and patience for this one anymore.
(1)Sonny S.
Oh, how I LOVE me some Starbucks! There isn't one where I live so I always make sure I get my fix when I'm near one. Their service was super quick and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had trouble understanding how to use my gold card and the barista walked me through everything which I really appreciated. She also introduced me to the green tea latte - yummy! You gotta try it out! Awesome service and great product!
(5)Kevin H.
Extremely slow service!! It will take you at least 20 minutes in the drive-thru, not any quicker to go inside!
(2)Dan S.
Stopped by the other day for mothers day and I must say that their Valencia orange refreshers are great
(5)Michael M.
My wife goes here way more than i do, to do her homework and such, but so much i think she works there as a regular customer! ha. I have got a couple drinks from this place and have never been disappointed yet. i enjoy the strawberry's and creme frappe as well as white chocolate mocha and other frappes. the atmosphere is just like any Starbucks, nothing special just a little coffee shop with some tables and free wi-fi. i love that they have the free wi-fi here. the people are friendly workers and customers, the places is clean, and they have a little outside area to sit as well.
(4)Desiree M.
I am a frequent visitor here. I have never had a problem with the service at this starbucks. Only one out of my gazillion times have i ever had a complaint about my drink, which they remade promptly. If you see the drive-thru line one car further past the menu just go inside, it would be quicker (as long as there isn't a huge line inside). As far as coffeehouses in the metro-east illinois area, they are lacking. There have been a few that have tried but starbucks just puts them out of business. I hate that for the local coffee shops, however, i love the hours of starbucks open from 5-11 most days so its a great place to get my homework done. Great access to the highway as well.
(4)Sarah A.
I went in to meet a friend, the hot chocolate was good but it took at least 10 minutes to make! My friend who lives in Belleville (I am from and live in Chicago) said that this location is always slow. If you want coffee but have some place to be afterwards this s not the place for you!
(2)Tim G.
This Starbucks is rumored to be the highest grossing Starbucks in the Midwest. If the drive-thru and in-house lines are any indication of the accuracy of that statement, then they truly are! There's nothing I can say about Starbucks here, that hasn't been said, written about, etc. But I've been to many a Starbucks, and this one is, well, just a great experience at any time of the day! The staff is wonderful, and always greets the regulars by name. Seldom do I even have to tell them what my order is. They will usually ask if I'm having whatever my usual drink is for that period of time. And promptly serve it up for me. On the very rare occasion, that your drink isn't up to your taste standards, they want you to tell them! They'll gladly remake any order to satisfy their customers. The store is clean and well maintained. But the configuration could have been given a bit more consideration. For example, the drive-thru lines up right in front of the entrance. It creates a considerable amount of traffic, and presents a potential hazard for patrons going in/out of the building. Similarly, there are a few parking spots right in front of the door. Beware if parking in these spots due to the way the drive-thru wraps around the building and crosses behind these parking slots. If you are parked there, and need to get out quickly, hope to God the drive-thru line isn't too long. Or you're going to be stuck in your parking spot until the line passes by. The good thing is, the baristas in this Starbucks are fast and accurate! They generally keep the drive-thru line moving at a pretty goods pace. That certainly is appreciated when you are short on time! They have an outdoor seating area, but again, it bumps right up against the drive-thru line! So consequently, your conversation is constantly interrupted by customers placing orders, or loud cars and stereos! Enjoying a nice latte right next to a running car isn't the most pleasant experience. The indoor seating area is less than adequate. Sure there are tables and chairs, but on a Saturday/Sunday morning, they fill up quick, leaving you no other option but to sit outside, or take your order to go. But as I stated, aside from these physical shortcomings, the exceptional staff more than makes up for it! And the product quality speaks for itself!
(4)Katherine F.
This Starbucks is aways crowded, which isn't neccessarily a bad thing-it IS the only Starbuck around. I suggest NOT going through the drive-thru because there is always a long line. Just step inside and you will be served much quicker and you can actually meet the people who are making your coffee.
(3)Tanya M.
its starbucks enough said. They would have 5 stars but the girl corrected me when I ordered. I am well aware of the Starbucks Lingo. I knew it before the little girl taking my order. I choose not to conform to the lingo.
(3)Mariah W.
I'm a former barista, though for a different Starbucks, so I tend to judge them a bit strictly. This one makes the drinks correctly and quickly. I'm not always thrilled with the customer service as sometimes they can be a bit rude. But most of them are friendly. I'll go back knowing that my very specific and complicated drink will be made right. For a busy Starbucks, they do very well and have their jobs down pat.
(3)Jeremy J.
Always consistent no matter the barista. Let's face it, its Starbucks and corporate coffee but it always does the trick!
(4)Kimmie K.
I've given them enough opportunities, to better their service. Don't ever go inside, just because the drive-thru line is long. Drive-thru has priority over everything else. There is no rhyme or reason to this, even if your the only person inside and in-line, drive-thru comes first...ALWAYS!! Coffe Starbucks Standard Coffee is always good. I only go here when I have to, it's not my daily first choice anymore. On weekends, it's a mad house!!
(2)Becky M.
This is a great little Starbucks that I enjoy coming to before or after work. It can get very very busy though, especially on a Saturday.
(4)Dana G.
My husband worked for Starbucks for 2 years as a black apron and a shift supervisor. When I experienced Starbucks then, they made sure that customer service was #1. EVERY time I go into this Starbucks there is someone who is incredibly rude. (Meaning someone working). One time a friend and I went in and I ordered a mug and as my friend started to order a mug, the girl had already grabbed a paper cup and when my friend stated she wanted a mug there was an eye roll and she crumpled the cup and threw it in the trash. When called on her actions she changed her attitude. They are never friendly and it never seems like customers are their priority, more like it is a hassle every time they order. Where the coffee is fine, the service lacks. If there were other places to go in this town, I WOULD NOT go back.
(2)Christian E.
I'm not sure what happened, but this Starbucks used to suck majorly. I used to wait sometimes 15 minutes in the drive thru with 3 cars in front of me! And, if I went inside, I used to feel like I was intruding on the staff - the attitude was sort of like "oh crap, another damn customer". Now, however, something has changed. I went there today after lunch at Aroy Thai and the staff was friendly, fast, and great! I actually felt welcomed to enter the store, rather than loathed, as before! And, the service was quick. I felt compelled to hang out with the fun staff, rather than grab my drink and run the hell away, as before! I am a renewed fan and can't wait to order my next quad tall cappuccino! Yousa!
(5)Stacy G.
The drive thru trash can is back after 3 years!! The drive thru moves a little slower these days but the consistency of the coffee has improved. I know this was a concerted effort on Starbucks part.
(4)Ann R.
It's my home away from home! Super friendly staff and great coffee!
