Ooohhh buddy, the good ole Cracker Barrel, am I really entering this place for breakfast? Yup, this PNW girl is in the Midwest and about get her grub on here, finally:) I love to visit restaurants that you see and hear about that aren't local to your own area and this place is one of them! Walking up the place looks like a big old barn and upon entering it's a like a gift shop before you get to the restaurant, crazy cool and smart since I'm sure this place has a line sometimes. As I took time to look over the menu, I couldn't really decide what I wanted, everything looked so good and I'm traditionally a biscuits and gravy gal but I wanted to try their grits and hashbrown casserole too! So I went in and got a lil bit of it all and it sure was delicious! The service was great as well, prompt and attentive. Beat's IHOP and Denny's anyday!

This place is VERY good! I have been to many Cracker Barrels, and they sure do like to fill you up! I never go away hungry and I love their country store as well. I would go here ANY time! Great place, also love it in the winter and fall when the fire place is going! Love the setting it makes!

LOVE! The Mama's French Toast breakfast is the best!!! Had it once and have been hooked ever since. Their chicken and dumplings are great too. It's got a great environment and the staff is really friendly too! Good luck escaping the store without buying anything.

Ok, I have to write this review sheepishly...what will my SF friends think when I find out I like Cracker Barrel...a place where even the vegetables aren't vegetarian! This Cracker Barrel is pretty new. It's nice, good service, and you know what to expect from Cracker Barrel...all sorts of food replete with butter, oil, and more butter. Living in California, I had a craving, and we had to stop on the way home from the airport in St. Louis. It's sort of like the "opposite-day" version of Californians craving In-N-Out. You'll never come here for fine dining, but for what it is, it's actually pretty good. Service is incredibly attentive and friendly in a genuine midwestern way. Oh, and those super greasy corn muffins...mmmm....absolutely excellent cholesterol goodness covered with blackberry jam.

Eh... So my wife and I were on a cross-country trip from San Diego, CA to Dayton, OH. On the way my dad sent me a message and told me to make sure we tried Cracker Barrel because one of his friends recommended it and that it was similar to a Denny's. So on one morning of our trip we decided we wanted some breakfast and I suggested we finally try it. We saw the parking lot was packed so we figured it was a Sunday morning so there would be a wait because of the church rush. We walked in to the store... It just looked like... A toy store, haha. We put our name in with the hostess and we were told we'd be seated shortly, nice! So we took a menu and took a seat outside on the display rocking chairs until we were called. We maneuvered through the toy store entry and were seated. We had both decided what we wanted so we ordered right away. I was feeling hungry and wanted to try what they had so I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast with the Steak. Our breakfast was served and it was so much food! I'm not a huge fan of grits so I tried them and they were just as I remembered... not that great. I went right for the steak and was excited, but my steak was still cold and undercooked and had absolutely no flavor. The eggs were okay and the cheesy hash browns were pretty good and eating these with the steak were the only way to make it tolerable... The biscuits were hard and the gravy was disgusting. The fried apples were also okay, but did nothing to make up for the rest of the disappointing breakfast. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon...

One of the worst places I have ever eaten. The food was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Why the f-ck was this place so crowded when we went?! Agghhh... Husband and I came here on a road trip from San Diego to Ohio. We don't have Cracker Barrels in California (maybe for good reason), so we were curious. Should've known better- they don't say curiosity killed the cat for nothing. Anyways, we saw like hundreds of these restaurants throughout our journey, so on the last day of our trek, we figured we try it. Major regret- all of the food I ordered was terrible. The biscuits were desert-dry, the chicken tenderloin was flavorless, my poached eggs were way hard-boiled (how can you be a chef and not know how to poach eggs??), the hashbrown casserole was mushy and just plain disgusting in taste, and the gravy was like cream of bland soup! Bland really is the best description for their food- completely bland, tasteless pile of.... you get the picture. Never, ever, ever coming here again! If you are craving some cheap, fast, diner-style breakfast, just go to Denny's!!!
