I am a frequent flyer at Starbucks and work near this location. For the second time in 2 weeks, I was given the wrong beverage in the drive thru. The first time I let it go but the 2nd time I called to complain. If I am spending $6 a coffee, I expect it to be what I ordered. I spoke to Joe, the manager who was apologetic and told me to come in the next day and he would leave a note for a complimentary drink. I went inside and Joe was not working and of course there was not a note. The barista made me feel like I was scamming to get a free cup of coffee and refused to tell me when Joe worked next. I don't need a free cup of coffee that badly and am not going to be treated that way by the rude staff. Last time I go to that Starbucks.

Reviewing peppermint mocha. The barista was great . The entire staff is 5 star! The holiday drink tastes like listerene in coffee with chocalate and chips. Mmmm.. really? Pass....

Good location with ample seating inside as well as an outdoor patio with tables. It's located in a nice strip mall with restaurants, Whole Foods, nail salons, and other shops. I've only been here a few times but the baristas are friendly, especially one guy who works the drive-through. Beware that this Starbucks location keeps the temperature inside like the Arctic so bring a jacket or sweater if you plan on staying for a bit!

I have frequented many Starbucks on the North Shore, and the service I receive here is by far the best of all. Whether it is Trevor, Jivco, or Mark, they always make sure customer service comes first. They are very attentive to not only my needs, but the needs of any particular customer at any given moment. I even drive out of my way to get my morning coffee here daily, when other Starbucks are in a much more convenient location for me. It it totally worth it, to start my day out with a smile. The manager on duty, Eric, is always on his "A" game as well. If he trained the others, I can see how they all have followed his lead. If every Starbucks could offer service like this one does, it would be tremendous!

Everyone that works here is so friendly! I love that they have a drive thru, but sometimes in the mornings it is really long so I end up going inside and it's much quicker. But if you do go through the drive thru in the summer time, make sure you roll up your windows because bees can get in from the lavender bushes! I go almost every day and most of the employees remember me and say hi or remember my drink. They rarely mess up my order (usually only when my husband orders something similar to my drink!) but they will change it for you! :) Love this Starbucks!

I always say people call me King Edward when they ask for my namr. There was this one time, the batista shouted "hear ye hear ye thy drink of the beans is ready for thy holiness. Good morrow to you your majesty. " best Starbucks ever.

Usually very friendly service. Today I met some of there new employees who have just cost them some long term business. Not only did the jersey shore wana be drop the f-bomb over 5 times, he also spit in my drink. I'm writing this to warn everyone that attends this Starbucks. Go to the one down the street. It's not worth it here, trust!

I have been to many Starbucks and have worked at many as well. But this place the service is amazing and the baristas are so sweet and fast and patient but seriously why must you blast the air conditioning in the summer and even in the WINTER?? that makes no sense when its warmer outside than inside in the fall??!? I usually don't mind these things but when my lips turn blue and my fingers start to feel numb. I would come here if you just need to pick up something but not a place to sit and get things done.

This Starbucks is a victim of its own success so the negatives are: really hard at times to find a parking spot and once inside really hard to find a table and a seat. If you are willing to bear with those negatives, the staff is really effective and on target and deliver consistent drinks. The food area is always well stocked and they don't seem to run out of my favorites like other Starbucks in the area. So yep I'm becoming a regular.

Their drive-thru AM services are fast and efficient which is why I love stopping by before I go to work while on my business trip! The line goes by within 5 mins or less and I my non-fat white chocolate mocha is ready by the time I'm at the window.

My favorite place to get an afternoon pick-me-up before work. The service is very friendly, and although they do get backed up at peak hours, they always great you at the window with a smile. Thanks for my delicious tuxedo mochas!

Usually I give four stars for Starbucks but this time I have deduct one. The blonde roast was overdone. I can taste the "carbon". They should also pay a little more attention to cleaning. The counters are dirty. Sorry but they are. Everything else in big chain standard. You know what you get there.

I have visited this Starbucks all of four times and each time they have messed up my drink. How can you get a venti ice coffee with extra soy unsweetened messed up? Well they managed to do that. When you tell them to correct it they become IRRITATED. Customer Service is horrible. Managment needs to correct the situation immediately. Starbucks prides themselves on making the drink you way and yet this has been lost in translation that this location.

My mother is a regular customer of this location because she lives very close to the location and it is supposed to be convenient. However, she consistently orders a Grande Chai Latte with Whipped and less than half of the time they add the Whipped. After 5 failed attempts she left her car in the drive thru to meet with an employee. She said, "I am not typically a b****, but this is the fifth time IN A ROW you have forgotten to put the whipped cream on my drink and it says that it should be whipped right on the side of the cup. I would like my F****** whipped cream!" After this, she was given a free drink coupon. The next time she went through the drive thru and ordered her standard drink, using her FREE coupon, they gave her a Chai with NO WHIPPED. Something needs to be done at this location, whether it be management or employees. Even so, she has no intention of ever going back.

I hit up this Starbucks way too many times during my lunch hour. Why? Because it has a drive thru and I can! This is probably the only drive thru in Northbrook and even though there's another Starbucks closer to my work, I like that I don't have to get out of my car. Yes, I'm that lazy. Their service is quick, polite, and accurate. I haven't had any instances where my order has been wrong. I like that. I shall continue with my reviews now as I sip my Venti Iced Green Tea Latte, No Syrup.

A 2star Starbucks is a sad Starbucks. The upside? Clean, plenty of outlets for your computer, and a clear, open space with a mix of tables & small section of sofa seating means it's comfortable. And drive-thru! Great if you want coffee on the go. The negative? This place is one of the slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. Not the drive-thru - the speed of the drive thru is fine. But if you come inside, then be prepared to wait. Like the prior reviewer stated, they put a preference on the drive thru people, leaving the people inside to wait. It was the longest I've ever had to wait for my drink, especially inside a nearly-empty Starbucks. A bit ridiculous, given there were 5(!) people working. How many drinks did that one drive-thru car order? But I give this place an extra star (hence, 2 stars) for being so nice on the inside, and being a convenient place to sit and work on the laptop or read a book. Just don't come here dying of thirst & expecting speedy service- unless you can pass yourself off as a car going through the drive-thru.

The only reason I come to this Starbucks location is due to their close proximity to work. After work, I go through their driveway and order a regular coffee, just to help me get through the remainder of the day. I've never really gone inside and ordered anything else, so my review is only limited to ordering from the drive through window....which isn't much I know. All I can say is my coffee is always hot and delish, just the way I like it and not overly sweetened. They always make it consistent to my liking. Sometimes though, the wait for my coffee is a little bit of a wait, but then again, I go at a time when most people are leaving work, around 4pm and everyone treks over to Starbucks

Absolutely despise this location. I have lived in this area for 10+ years and have been going here because it is the only one close by with a drive-thru however, this weekend was the straw that broke the camel's back. I go in and order ONE drink. One lousy cappuccino that I always TRY to order here but NEVER get right. I don't know if they don't know the difference between a cappuccino or a latte but they really need to learn soon if they're going to keep their shop open. Once, I ordered 3 travel cases of coffee (because I was having a dinner party and wanted some coffee for dessert) I asked for a few extra tall cups and the guy shoved a stack of tall cups through the window of my car and proceeded to laugh about it with his friends. When I spoke to his manager he said that I was being over dramatic about it, but this doesn't surprise me, this is the same manager whom I ordered a breakfast sandwich from but gave me the wrong sandwich and drink and then blamed it on his employees. A manager needs to take responsibility for his store and this one does not. He and his employees are running a muck here and this place is honestly a joke. If this kind of disaster were trying to happen in the city where coffee drinkers are seemingly more serious about their coffee, this place would have been chewed out in a heart beat. I won't be going back here and neither should you- I'll go deal with parking lots and waiting in line at any other place before I go through this drive-thru again. I'm paying way too much money for my drink to have it always be made wrong!

I have never had a problem with this Starbucks at all. It's one of my favorites in the area because it has a drive thru. The baristas there are some of the friendliest I have encountered! They know their customers and their customers' drinks. The baristas always engage with me, asking how my days going and talking about life in general. A tasty coffe, a smile and great conversation. What more could you ask for? Idk what other people have been experiencing but don't be deceived! This one is amazing, go there!

I haven't had issues with this starbucks. It's comfortable and I only had a erroneous charge issue once, not too bad. I only order drip coffee so it's not complicated. I prefer some other locations just because it's more comfortable to really sit and hang out elsewhere. It's just a bit cramped inside and the atmosphere is too hustle and bustle.

Every single time I stop at this Starbucks to take advantage of their holiday menu drinks, I'm told that they do not have eggnog or that they just ran out. Something fishy is going on here. What kind of Starbucks is in business with not enough ingredients for their drinks?! Fail!

Don't waste your time here. I've been here twice here in the past month and had bad experiences.. First time it was drive-thru in the morning. I placed my order and the lady hands me four cups one by one... I politely ask for a drink tray and she gives me this attitude saying that I should have asked for one in the first place. As a Starbucks employee, shouldn't you know its common sense to provide a drink tray when I ordered four drinks? There were only two people in the car including me, and most car don't have cup holders to accommodate four drinks. Put me in a bad mood... The second incident is today.. I'm sitting in the cafe right now and mayhem ensues... I ordered a scone and a tall coffee. The register lady hands me the scone but not the coffee, so I move over to the waiting area and she takes the next order. I stand there for five minutes, and a father and a daughter is waiting patiently... finally the father speaks up and says, "Um, hello, we've been waiting for my daughter's iced coffee for ten minutes now" The employees are so busy filling the drive through orders, they just leave the customers inside waiting without even bothering asking what we're waiting for... they find her drink on the drive through counter.. I keep waiting patiently for my coffee... and the guy making drinks makes 3 drinks behind me.. so I finally had to stand in line again and ask for the coffee again... and then right after my order they announce they cannot serve coffee for 15 mins because they are out of coffee.. Is this a coffee shop???? Seriously, if time is precious to you, go to Panera across the street, or any other Starbucks than here... I never seen anything like this.

For someone like me who needs her daily dose of Starbucks with many different locations to choose from in the neighborhood, this is the one and only location I LOVE going to on a daily basis. The entire staff is beyond friendly, courteous and always has a smile on their face. I love that even when a new employee pops up, he or she makes an effort to get to know me. They always say "hi" to me and my daughter. There is no better way to start off my morning than going to MY Starbucks and receiving all the love! My Venti Mocha and birthday cake pop for my darling daughter completes the package! Don't miss out on the best Starbucks on the North Shore!!
