The pita press is a great sandwich. Take out is convenient. Service is well intentioned and food is always solid.

The food here tastes pretty good. The kafte fries are awesome. The bad here is that the portions are really small for the money they charge. They are pretty cheap with the meat and it'll stop me from eating there again. I had a sandwich there that consisted of meat between 2 pitas, and there wasn't even a whole solid layer of gyro meat. They got you because I can't really think of any other places in the immediate area that offer the different greek meats that they do. If you are satisfied with a smaller portion of meat, then this may be an okay option for you.

Excellent Greek fast food. Gyros are great and the fried cod is crisp and not too greasy. Fresh greek salad, soft pita bread and refreshing creamy lemon rice soup. Very children friendly. Hard to find parking during weekday lunch time.

Pretty standard gyros-I wish it came with the big steak fries you usually get. Very good nonetheless!

Apparently the place is successful, the parking lot is often full, though for the life of me I can't imagine why. It was a pleasantly designed, order-and-pay-at-the-counter, take-your-number-to-the-table, and server-delivers type of place (like Smash Burger or the departed and lamented Woodfire Grill). Ordered a gyro: small portion, a bit bland, and at $6.00 plus tax, far too expensive. I can't see any reason to go back. They'd be a 3 Star place if they had slightly larger portions and were a buck or two less.

I was charged $12 for gyros plate, and it didn't have $12 worth of food in it. I'll take my money else where.

After eating here twice, I have to say that there are better options out there. First time had the souvlaki(shish-kabob) and it was pretty good. Second time had the gyros, which was overcooked, lacked taste and was a tiny portion for what is supposed to be a "plate". Wife had the chicken gyros, which was a much better choice. All the meals were served without any tzaziki sauce. Who eats gyros dry? The kids did not like their gyros either. I like the menu layout and ability to pick your sides, etc. I had the greek potatoes, which must have been prepared the day before: dry and hard. Will not be coming back...

The chicken here is very good. The plate that is the 1/2 chicken with fries is a 5. The gyro plate portions are very small but they are also very good.

Overpriced!! I would rather pick Roti or Pita-Inn. Edit: I think it does not deserve a 1 star rating just on the price basis. Updating to 3 stars considering the food and environment.

Food is great and fresh. Not perfect - the people at cash register could use some more accent neutralization. Other than that -- a must try.

Love this place. Love the beef sandwich and the egg lemon soup. Always fast and always love coming here for great and quick greek food.

We have been too Greek Feast many times. Last Wednesday we enjoyed some new options. The Taverna Chicken is a flavor boosted version of a Greek roast chicken with an olive oil oregano and garlic sauce poured over the top. They serve it over very crispy and hot french fries which was delicious, but possibly a bit too much fat - next time I will ask them to serve it over rice. The Greek salad with regular gyros meat was delicious, served with a light and somewhat creamy balsamic vinegar dressing complemented the fresh vegetables in the salad. A lighter alternative, the chicken gyros meat is tasty but seems a little bland in comparison to the beef and lamb version. The chicken lemon rice soup is very tasty but needs a little more lemon so grab a few slices by the beverage station and squeeze in a few extra drops. The prices might seem a bit high compared to other fast casual food but the quality is very good and the service is as well.

Stopped here for lunch and I was not impressed. On the plus side, the lady cleaning the table was making a serious effort to provide extra service and making sure customers were satisfied with their meals. The dining room is clean, modern like. The greens on the pitas (salad, tomato) were fresh and crisp. The dissatisfiers; overpriced for what is being served. The pitas and falafels are rather bland compared to a place like Pita Inn for example. The sides (fries with feta...) are way too salty. Ridiculously small parking lot.

For the first couple of months this place opened, it was PACKED! I tried going there to get food during lunch and I couldn't find parking in their small lot so I ended up waiting to go here until a few months later. At that time, the parking lot wasn't quite as packed anymore.... Well, I figured out why. After trying this place out twice, I found the food to be "meh." Other Greek fast food places have better gyros than this place does. probably the best thing they have is a lot of options. For example you can either order a street pita or regular pita with different types of meat like gyros, chicken gyros and a couple others I forget. so you can pretty much build your own. I had a street pita with gyros which comes with fries inside the sandwich so I thought that would be awesome. they really don't pile on the gyro meat like they do at other places and it was more expensive ($6 for a street pita). also it didn't help that I ordered my meal to go and got the street pita with fries and a drink and they forgot to give me the fries... I should've checked the bag, but they stapled it shut so I didn't find out until I got back to the office that they didn't pack the fries. after spending close to $10 on lunch, I was not happy that the fries were missing. since I didn't find the food all that great, this was not a forgiveable offense, but I guess it doesn't matter because I most likely will not be back there again.

I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they cater food to my needs. The food is flavorful and tasty. The service staff is very helpful and courteous. There is ample parking which is rather convenient. Since moving to Chicago this has become our regular eating spots

Extremely overpriced. I came here the other day and ordered a salad. I assumed it would be a large salad for the money but the portions are very small. The food is not quality, the chicken is burnt, and the portions are decreasing in size. The Greek salad is all iceberg lettuce and an olive and the tomatoes are rotten. The kids meals are very small and the fries barely cover the plate. Well done Greek Feast!

  • Joanna H.

Very tasty! I had the gyros original and feta fries-kafke fries. I loved it! The spanikopita was dry though and not crispy enough- same with the baklava needs to be crispier. Other than that great! Hope they improve those two items!

I recently moved to the area over the summer and as soon as we tried GreekFeast, we fell in love with their food! We have dined in on a few occasions, but mostly pick up food for takeout. Service is always prompt and the food is delicious. The portions are large and everything we've had is always excellent. Our favorite dish is the Chicken Taverna! It is great that they have beer (not sure if they also have wine but I think they do), so if you want a casual dinner inside, you can also have a drink.

After driving by here countless times I decided to give it a whirl. Georgie V's is one of my favorite breakfast spots on the Northshore, therefore I was expecting some Greek greatness. For the most part they delivered. It is somewhat of a hybrid between a formal restaurant and fast food (fast casual?). The meats were tasty and didn't feel like they had been sitting around all day. I will be back to sample more of the great menu.

Finding gyros at a good value is getting tougher and tougher. At Greek Feast, it's about $9 for a gyros, fries, and soft drink. Not really too cheap! That said, the portions are decent and the food is fairly good. Fries were cooked quite nicely - just a touch of brown - evenly cooked. The gyros was good - not excessively greasy, which I like. Went mid-afternoon on a Saturday, so service was quite prompt as it should be in a restuarant during "down-time".

Overpriced Greek food!!! I've been here a few times with co-workers and I every time I leave saying "why did I come here and waste my money". Nothing memorable and honestly, for the amount you spend you would think that they would serve you fresh salad!!! Numerous times, I've seen over ripe tomatoes, cucumbers and brown lettuce show up on my Gyro plate. No thanks, save your money go some place else.

Definitely not bad for Northbrook. My girlfriend and I come here often, since I live walking distance from it and not much else in the area. The gyros are very tasty and extremely filling in my opinion. A meal for two will usually be from $15-$20, which isn't bad at all, again, in my opinion. Chicago has better Greek food, sure. If you are in Northbrook though, this place is worth checking out. It's new, it's well designed and very well maintained. Parking is small. I find it hilarious that some people left because of it, when there is a gigantic parking lot right next to it. Lol! Greek feast, you help keep Northbrook from being a total failure. See you again soon! :)

I keep thinking this is going to be like my favorite Greek restaurant in Charlotte, NC, but alas, it is not. I don't love the meat-the chicken or the lamb here-it does not seem to have much flavor as compared to many other Greek restaurants I have frequented. Even the Tzatziki sauce is a bit flavorless. I do love the tea machine and I did upgrade them to 3 stars for the DELISH fries-the Kafta fries and the Feta Fries are fantastic.

Greek Feast is near our church and the wife and I have been here twice. This place use to be a Shell gas station but they totally remodeled the place. It doesn't even look like a gas station use to be there. I like getting the Gyros and rice pilaf. The Gyros are well portioned and they aren't greasy (pet peeve of mine when eating gyros). They are totally satisfying and you won't feel too full when you're done. I have not tried the other stuff on the menu but this place is good so far!

  • D G.

I stop into Greek feast about once a month just out of convenience. But its over priced, small portioned and depending on whose cooking that day the food is hit or miss. I have had the Hummus there three times and all three times it tasted different and worse each time.

  • Bill H.

Great place for authentic Greek food at a reasonable price. I like the layout of the place. You pay first then take your seat. A server comes out with your meal. I ate the Falafel. It's very good here.

Mediocre at best. Such a shame especially being in Chicagoland. I will continue to drive to a much better place on Golf until I can find Greektown caliber.

Love the takeout. Think high-end Greek bento boxes. Always delicious, fresh, and friendly. The baked half greek chicken with lemon rice and side greek salad is a weekly must have (and I'm a great cook)!

I have been back and it's gotten much better. In fact I pick up dinner probably once a month from here and it's always good. Love the Lemon rice soup. Glad a tried again.

I ordered pick-up and when i got back to my office the sauce was missing. I ordered the gyro and nothing. The food was good, but I really get upset when there are things missing especially when you are really hungry and have no time on your lunch break.

This is straight up legitimate Greek street cuisine, just as it states on the menu. And they nailed it. My wife and I spent a week wandering the streets of Athens in 2011. The food there is absolutely to die for. So when we came back, naturally we started looking around for a restaurant that could recreate that taste. Greek Feast is that restaurant. Sure, there are fancier Greek restaurants around the Chicagoland area. And there may be locations that serve "better" Gyros (read: more along the lines of a standard US culinary palate). But I have yet to find a better place that recreates the taste and feel of true Greek street cuisine. 5 stars, easily.

  • Foodie W.

love the Taverna Chicken. Not a fan of the french fries underneath as they get soggy quickly. I also don't understand why they put pita under tomatoes and onion in the takeout container. Again, soggy. Easy fixes that I would think a restaurant should have figure out already. Tried the new falafel sandwich today. The falafel has great texture but not enough flavor. They also pile on the cucumber, lettuce, and tomato, which makes eating it as a sandwich impossible. It's also completely out of balance as the veggies drown out the falafel balls. Am also used to some pickled veggie on falafel sandwiches. I added red onion myself. Definitely in need of some acidity.

I like it. Prices are a little high, food comes fast, and it's as greek as any other greek food you'd expect. There are a million greek places in the area, so it doesn't really stand out in any sense.

  • Scott B.

Food was good but not great. I have had better gyros at hot dog places. Service was good. Prices a bit high.

Very poor costumer service, rude, , give you VERY little food for such a HIGH price. Everyone, go to PITA INN down the street. (No one can beat Pita Inn, best food for a great price!)

"Sorry you feel that way." This was my opinion of Greekfeast before tonight: This place has it together. The Meli Sticks remind me of Greece except they use Apples instead of Pita in Greece. The Pita tastes better! Pistichio, Greek Chicken, Lamb Chops, Cod with Skodalia...the menu is awesome. The Salads and Soups are perfect. You can get San Peligrino Orange or Lemon Pop. They cater. I give these people 5 out of 5." This is my opinion of Greekfeast after tonight, 2/23/15: My wife asked for the fries on the Pita Press sandwich to be on the side. They said no, that they will not put the fries on the side. I asked to talk to Pete, the owner. Pete said that the sandwich has to have the fries inside and they will not change the sandwich. My wife has had them put the fries on the side several times. Pete said that's not true. Are we liars? Pete said its only about 7 fries so it's not a big deal. I said if it's not a big deal then why not put them on the side. I asked Pete why he would let people walk away unsatisfied when making the sandwich without fries on it is so simple. Pete said, "sorry you feel that way." I said, "sorry you work that way" and left to eat somewhere else. I will not spend money at a business that is inflexible, uncaring and forgetful of the importance of each individual customer. In this area, I'd rather eat at Mykonos or Dimitri's from here on out. I spend thousands on catering every year. I've enjoyed their lunch catering many times. My wife and kids enjoy the restaurant. However, imagine if you were at a: Burger Joint, and... - you ask for pickle on the side. The manager tells you that's how the burger comes - deal with it. Or, A Greek Restaurant, and... - you ask for no tomato in your salad. The manager tells you that you can take the tomato out but refuses to serve the salad without tomato. Would you go back to the Burger Joint or Greek Restaurant in the above scenario(s)? That's why after our awkward experience tonight, Greakfeast will not be included in any future purchases.

Overpriced and the food wasn't all that. I've had better from a regular Vienna joint. They messed my order up and gave me cold food. I wont be returning.

I used to see these signs @ Dunbrook Shopping Center (DSC) that I thought said No Parking for Greek FEST and I was like "where do they have Greek Fest around here?" I'm not sure what these guys did to DSC but there are signs are all over the place warning you of a certain tow if you dare to park and patronize GF. So before you stop in, make sure you only park in GF's lot. I got the gyros plate - I like to order the plate instead of the sandwich because usually they put more meat in it. After trying GF's gyros plate, I imagine the gyros sandwich is probably pretty skimpy. Also - the plate comes with a lemony rice-pilaf which was HEAVY with lemon flavor. I could've/should've just paid the extra dollar+ and gotten fries but, whatever. The salad on the side was forgettable. The gyros meat was better than average and the tzatziki was really good; usually tzatziki is just tzatziki but I found myself really trying to get the very last bit out of the cup. The dining room looked nice - maybe next time I'll grab a seat and eat in.

I dined here for the first and last times yesterday on lunch. I would expect that during a lunchtime rush the food would be at least warm. NOPE! The fries were under a heat lamp and my gyros was about as cold at my pop. I will have to say it tasted pretty good just COLD. I should have asked for them to place my meal in the microwave for a minute or two. Overall, I would expect at this price-point the service/quality of food would have been a lot better. Pita-Inn right around the corner is a much better value. On a positive note, this is a newer restaurant and the inside was nice. Parking is a joke, the little lot is mostly full of employee cars.

We come here for lunch. The parking lot is out of control after 12, so make sure to get there a little before. I have always gotten salads, and have been pleased with them. Service is quick and efficient.

Not sure why I expected greek coffeeshop experience...maybe it's what I wanted so I was projecting. Anywho, I waited and waited for this place but hubs never wanted to try it. Tonight, just me and the happy, smiling pre-teen. She hated it. didn't care for her salad at all. She expected lettuce in there somewhere. I thought it was pretty tasty...tomato, cuke, basil, olives, feta in a red wine vinegar & oil dressing, topped with chicken gyros meat. I had the chicken gyros sandwich. It was very good. Not great. They skimp on the sauce. I'm sure I could've asked for more and they'd give it to me but please, don't force me to get up and ask, just give it to me up front. The pita was nice and dry, not dripping with grease from the grill. Gyros meat was moist. Very important. All in all, it wans't a bad experience and I will likely be back. Without the daughter.

I am giving Greek Feast three stars because I thought the food was pretty decent. My chicken kabob was tasty and the food was fresh. HOwever, portions were tiny and it is way overpriced. I'd rather go to Once Upon Grill next door.

Food is excellent when you get what you order. Prices are a bit high, so this is not a value. I am surprised to hear negative reviews about customer service, George and his son's who run the restaurant along with Georgie V's Pancake house are amazing at customer service, but not any more. Sadly I have found the customer service level has dropped. My order has been made incorrectly. Once I was told I would get a 5% discount on a future meal instead of them replacing my meal with what I ordered. I will not return.

I stopped in here for a late lunch when I realized that it had finally opened. Honestly, I've been watching this place be built for what seems like forever. Formerly a Shell gas station, this is now one of those quasi-fast food places, where you can either get your food to go or sit in the dining area & have your food brought out to you. I prefer to eat during non-set meal times (I was there around 230p) so it wasn't very crowded when I got there. I got the Greek Feast gyros, which was gyros+sauce & french fries in the pita. I made it a combo for a couple more dollars and got a small drink (refillable though) and feta fries. (Literally, feta on top of fries.) The cost of my meal was around $9. I wasn't too impressed with the gyros. It was alright, but nothing impressive. It was good, but not amazing. I think it tasted a bit too bland and just a touch dry. Not as much meat as other places would usually give. Also, some more tzatziki might have helped the flavor. Fries inside the pita was interesting. Personally, I liked it. I probably would not order the feta fries as their own side again, though. The feta didn't really add anything. The drink was pretty small, but since I was eating in, I could get a refill and not feel ripped off. Since the place has only been open for a couple days, I'm going to give this place a standard 3. There was nothing wrong with the service and the food was passable. I'll probably try this place again after a week or two, to see what I think of the place overall.

The trick with this place is finding the right thing to order. My personal favorite: Chicken Gyro with extra Tzatiki. Sha-zaaammm. Delicious, fresh and meaty. Parking can be a real issue. I would recommend trying to make it either a little earlier or later than the traditional lunch/dinner rush. The fries are not my favorite. With the type of food they serve, they would do better with a thicker fry, almost like Five Guy's. Prices can hurt, but the food is fresh, so that might just even things out a bit. I would also recommend calling in an order if you know you are taking-out. That way you can avoid inevitably standing with your ass in someones plate (there is no real "waiting area" and often the space by the counters is taken up by people waiting to order or to collect food).

    (3)
  • Joe J.

I tried chicken gyros first time, it was good, and next time I did the whole meal, it was tasteless!! lunch time prices are not the best, a meal would be close to 10, I would go to pitta in for 5 bucks and get more food and better quality!! Also something needs to be done about the way they serve the food, those guys who bring the food suffer finding people, my friend waited 45 minutes for a Greek salad last week. Maybe have one of those tv's list the order numbers and people can get up and get their food!! sorry guys!! u need to do a 5 bucks specials lunch time!! or anything in that range to compete!!

Parking lot is way too small. Pulled in and just waited, no room to even stand to wait for a space since cars are pulling in behind you trying to get in, then everyone is all jammed up. The service is excellent, very quick to order. You get a number, then a server brings you your food. Dinner arrived quickly. There were plenty of tables when we were there. Decor is beautiful. Very comfortable. As far as the food - maybe most people will like it. It's a good place. Personally I've had better Greek food. I wish I liked it, it wasn't bad food, but I just didn't love it. It's nice to have a convenient fast food greek place in case you need a quick dinner. It beats another night of Chinese food or pizzas. It is absolutely worth giving it a try.

I've decided that I need to start checking out different places for lunch, and not just what's across the street from the office (no offense, Prairie Grass, I love your tuna melt, but I'm working on a budget here). This may have not been the best place to start. The prices are a tad high for what you get. I wound up just getting the gyro sandwich, as I didn't really want to shell out money for fries and a drink in addition to the $6 that I was paying for the sandwich alone (Cooker's is my hero on this one. See my review regarding the gyro special). The sandwich was small for the price. The meat was also very dry. The sauce was good, but there wasn't an adequate sauce to other sandwich fixin' ratio. I also wasn't digging the atmosphere. The music made me feel like I was at a rave and was too loud. The place was pretty empty. There were maybe only 5 or 6 other patrons, and this was during the lunch rush. I'm pretty sure there were like 9 people working though. I don't think a return trip will be warranted here.

This place is excellent. Their gyros are delicious and are not greasy like many other places, and their feta fries are very good. I've been here a few times and loved it. Would like to try other things on their menu as well. This place is also very nice inside. Very well kept and updated along with great food :).

Really good. I love the chicken souvlaki. I have had most things on the menu and frankly they are all good. a touch pricey but the portions make up for it.

Pros: Clean and welcoming atmosphere with a modern touch Decent food Fast You order at the front, and they deliver it to you. I love that as I don't have to wait for a server for five years, and I don't have to leave a tip, but they still bring the food to you, which is nice. Cons: Kind of expensive Not keen on salads (big bowls give the illusion you're getting more than you are) Small parking lot, and you can't park in the neighboring mall or they'll tow you (or so they say). I find the egg lemon soup a bit too lemony for my taste, but my friends love it. Some of their food doesn't taste homemade. Worst caviar spread I ever had a Greek restaurant. Don't get that. The chicken gyros is decent though. Very small mousaka portion. Salads are kind of small for the price.

My husband and I have passed this restaurant many times and decided to give it a try for lunch today. We always see a full parking lot and figured that the food must be terrific! We were pleasantly surprised when we entered to see how nicely decorated this place was and seemed to have a pleasant atmosphere. You order at the counter..get a number and take a seat. The food is brought to your table. We ordered a gyro plate ($11.95), chicken lemon rice soup, large drink and baklava. The gyro plate came with two side choices..we picked french fries and a Greek salad. We were shocked when our order arrived. There was about 3 pieces of gyro meat, 10 small cold french fries and a small salad took up almost all of the plate. One of the best part of eating a gyro is delicious tzatziki sauce. We were served a little container with 1 teaspoon of sauce :( The meat and fries were also cold. The soup was room temperature and tasted like flour with lemon water. We were very disappointed as we have had gyros at many other restaurants that are fresh, hot, generous portions and not as expensive. We wouldn't have minded the high prices at Greek Feast if the food would have been better quality. This is a one and done for us.

Not what I expected, it's a rip off and the food is okay. The carry out containers are really good quality. that is the only good thing I can say.

I was hoping this place was going to be a great place to go for gyros. Wow was I wrong. The food is marginal and good luck trying to park anywhere near the building. By the time you get inside, your appetite is gone from the walk. The overwhelming smell is like a punch in the face once you enter. I know it's a restaurant and it's supposed to smell, but it's like you just walked into uncle Theodopolous's onion den. Yuck. I won't be back.

Every time I go to this restaurant, I know I'm in for a good experience. The owner/staff are always friendly. The establishment is very clean and everything is made fresh daily.. I like that the food comes out very efficiently, but you don't get the typical "fast food" vibe. Modern decor, good food, friendly people. Think I'll be going for lunch there tomorrow! Yummo!

I've been hee four times and 3 out of those they have messed up my order after I waited a long time for my food. When I call back they refuse to credit my credit card and instead leave a voucher for the item I ordered for free- but only for the next two weeks. I've put up with this because both my boyfriend and I like their food alot but it's kind of pricey and after last night I don't think I'll be going back. Last night when I went in I had to wait 15 minutes to order because all three registers weren't working. The teenagers working the registers couldn't fix them and needed the manager Mark to help, but he was "busy" getting an order ready and wouldn't fix them despite all the people waiting. When one of them asked him again he yelled at her in front of everyone. Very unprofessional and unecessary as she was only voicing what we were all thinking. After I finally got to order I had to stand at the counter and wait a long time to get my food. They should really provide seating to wait for carry out orders. When I got home I found out they had messed my order up again and when I called they were not polite and put me on hold 3 times before finally making a voucher for me.

This is my second time at Greek Feast and I love the food. I usually get the gyro plate and they give you so much that I can never finish it. When you come here, be ready to eat allot and not be broke. The Gyro Plate is about $8 and some change. For the amount of food they give you, it's a great deal. The only bad side about this place is its parking. It has very limited parking and that's why I did not give it the highest rating. Overall it's a great place!!!

Short version--excellent food! I'm don't usually heap praise on restaurants (b/c I eat out a ton and think of myself as having a relatively educated palate), but this place was really great and deserves the praise. The food was flavorful, and the prices were reasonable (especially given the amount of food you get), and I felt like I ate healthy when I left. Verdict: great food--give it a shot. Longer Version--I started with two dips (tzatziki and taramosalta) and the greek sausage. Those dips are some of my favorite generally, and I usually only get them in Greektown because they are not readily available out here. The dips at Greek Feast (referred to "GF" from now on) were better than I get in Greektown. Very excited about this. The sausage was great too--perfectly spiced. I also tried the Gyros. This was one of the main criteria by which I judged GF. The gyros were awesome!!! Tasty, perfectly cooked, and, most importantly to me, not overly oily or greasy as gyros have the propensity to be at other spots. This is how gyros should be--great stuff. I also recommend that you try the Feta Fries; they were a nice change from regular fries and another example of how GF goes the extra mile in preparing their food. I went with two friends. One got the pita press sandwich. He loved it too. My other friend got the roasted chicken. I tried a bite of that and it was excellent--juicy and well seasoned.

My wife and I tried this place out with our 3 year old son. My wife's plate that was the vegetarian plate had dolmades that had meat in it she was not only disappointed at how cold the plate was but her stomach and my stomach had problems. I had the pork souvlaki plate and was very surprised how fast the meals came out even fast food does not come out that fast and that cold. It also made me suspect that there food is precooked and probably microwaved. After we left we all had problems at home with diarrhea and we did not really have a chance to eat anything before this wonderful Disney destination. I must admit the flashy displays of TVs and nice design were a great touch. But the food was NASTY!!! Thanks for making my bad experience a Family Affair. One Big Juicy OPA for my A**

I'm rating this 5 stars in the category of fast-food/carry-out restaurants. It is NOT a fancy 5-star establishment. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is that this is not Uncle Nick's greasy spoon gyros dive. The dine-in facilities are modern, clean and upscale. Counter service is organized, quick (as quick as can be for fresh cooked food) and very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Expect to spend $7-10 on average per person unless you're pigging out. I grew up eating Greek joint food because my Mom is Greek, so I'm pretty experienced with this genre. The classic gyros sandwich here is probably the best in the North Shore area (most of them suck), although I think it's a bit skimpy on the sauce. I recommend ordering extra. Avgolemono soup is good, but Mom's is better. But that's to be expected if your Mom makes the stuff. When I want something healthier, I go for the chicken kabob plate. The meat is very well seasoned and juicy, and served with flavorful rice, grilled pita, homemade chunky tzatziki sauce and fresh Greek salad. For dessert, I think the baklava here is excellent. I like mine moist with honey, not dry, and GF's is perfect. Did I mention Coke no Pepsi? Score.

Very disappointing service!! The food is decent, expensive and small portions. I got a Greek salad with Gyros meat and a chicken kabob plate to go. They charged me $.35 for gyros sauce and neglected to put it in my bag. I really don't think they should have charged me extra since I got gyros meat on my $10 salad. When I called to give them the chance to make it right I got lip service and a sarcastic sorry. The chicken kabobs were dry and overcooked. For the premium price I find this place very disappointing. I definitely wont be going back.

Tonight was my second time dining here and it certainly won't be the last! The place is small, but comfy. Nice modern decor, but not overdone. The service is awesome, food arrived quickly, and the servers/busboys are extremely friendly I even left a nice big tip. The Avgolemono soup is excellent, subtle on the lemon-y-ness, and a good size considering it's only $2.99. I suggest the gyro plate entree for $8.99. For a couple dollars more than the gyro sandwich, you get double the meat, THINly sliced onions (very important to me), tomatoes, a mini Greek salad with Kalamata olives, scoop of yummy rice, and pita slices. The only thing was the Tzatziki (cucumber sauce), make sure to ask for 2-3 extra when you order (free of charge) because 1 is definitely not enough!

I thought the gyro meat was fresh tasting and not overly salty. The fries were crispy, which I loved. I do agree with other reviewers that they skimp on the sauce. Not motivated to go back during lunch hours because of the parking situation. It's a hot mess. However, I will definitely return during non-peak hours.

Fast service, but not your typical fast food environment. Lemon Rice soup is amazing...my family enjoyed the gyros as well. Spanikopita is excellent too...for Greek food at a reasonab le price this is the place!!

Not so good. We ordered a chicken gyro and a regular gyro and both were dried out. The onions were stringy. So stringy in fact that you can't bite through them so they were like dental floss. I ended pulling them out of the sandwich. My husband said he didn't have enough sauce. It's these little details that make a difference in a good product. Maybe other people like it this way but it makes me think they're just cutting corners or being cheap. I'd prefer having thicker sliced onions and less of it. So isn't that the same? You can kinda see into the kitchen behind the order counter and the guy behind me asked if they were deep frying his gyro meat. What did he see? No comparison to Kosta's in Palatine. My husband's fries, I'm sure, were Refried. Shame on Greek Feast. They were so hard, it poked the insides of our mouth. Both of us cringed. Could it be that we went in there at 8:30? They close at 9:00. Should that matter at any restaurant? Eek.

The meat is dry, the food is served barely warm, the portions are small. Nothing was really satisfying in any way. I think this place is as mediocre as mediocre gets. They should spend less money on big screen TVs for menus and upscale fast food decor and invest that into better food/chefs/equipment or whatever it is that makes the food here so unsatisfying.

The greek salad is AMAZING and really fresh. The pork souvlaki was also moist and delicious. The taramosalta was awful and I would not order that.

After many months of waiting through construction and what looked like a very chaotic and busy opening week, I finally got to try the Greek Feast. As other reviewers have noted, the parking lot is a little on the small side and access can be a little tricky from the dundee/pfingsten intersection. I had no problem entering or parking on my first trip there. The restaurant looks like it's trying to be a more upscale take on the typical greek fast food place. It uses the "You take a number, we bring you your food" style of service that seems to be pretty popular right now. The menu offers pretty basic greek fast food (gyros, chicken gyros, soulaki) as well a fried fish sandwich/entree and a few specialty items ($24 lamb chops for some reason...?) I had one of my all time favorites: pork souvlaki sandwich. I found the portion to be pretty hearty, there was a good balance of ingredients, and the pork was delicious. I got a side of fries, which were also pretty good. In the end though, I think the experience fell a little short in terms of "upscale" fast food. It wasn't that upscale, it was pretty much just normal greek fast food in a nicer setting where they give you some silverware and charge you a little more than they really ought to. I can't complain about it too much, since it's the only place in the area that sells this type of greek fast food, beyond the basic gyros/ chicken pita you can find at the hot dog stands and hamburger joints. All in all it was not an earth-shattering revelation compared to other local fast food choices, but it was pretty good food and adds some new choices to the northbrook/deerfield fast food scene. Now if only we could get a decent, high-quality taquiera out here....

We have been eyeing this place ever since we saw the huge silver gyro meat hub on the building. This is a go-between your Greek fast food and sit down. It's a fast sit down. We got the gyro plate and half chicken, and I also added a side of the lemon chicken soup. Big plates for the price, comes with a side salad and rice.If you like your Greek food fairly lemony...the chicken, rice and soup were all pretty pungent of the citrus. The chicken was juicy and perfectly roasted. The gyro meat wasn't too dry either and there was plenty of it on my plate, so we had to take some to go. It's a decent place, but nothing entirely too special.

Greek Feast isn't gourmet, but it is certainly delicious! The plates are a great value. The chicken souvlaki is always moist and flavorful. I'm also a huge fan of the spanikopita plate. After we left the city, I felt an unrequited longing for Athenian Room. Greek Feast fits the bill! It's our new favorite take-out and quick meal spot.

If you have a big appetite, this might not be the most fiscally appealing restaurant. The prices are on the higher end for the neighborhood as a street pita with fries and a drink will be above the 10 dollar mark. Also, if you are hungry that might not do the job in terms of portion size. Outside of that, the food is quite good and this joint should be part of your rotation as its the best Greek Food in a 3 mile radius. The whole chicken is quite good but 14 dollars out the door is expensive for a whole greek chicken that is on the smaller size. They must be using 2 pound chickens, on a good day.The staff is nice and the spot is clean. Parking is definitely an issue and there has been a few occasions in which I have passed up a meal here due to the parking lot being packed. Can't park in the adjacent mall because the guy who owns Dairy Queen is the Commander of the Parking Lot and will have your car towed if you park near the Dairy Queen.

Our carry-out chicken gyros was truly awful. The chicken was tender but the 4 ingredients seemed separate and bland. There was a "dirty sponge" smell and taste. We love all kinds of food and can only hope that this was an off night for the restaurant. If it improves, we'll have to take the word of others; we're not going back.

I'm Greek, so my specialty is Greek-American food. Food here is OK. Greek-style souvlaki sandwiches were on the menu, which is nice to see since I can't find them anywhere. Think Pita, shishkabob mean, fries, feta, tomatoes, onions, and choice of sauce. Meat, pita and feta were good. Fries were of the frozen kind which ruined the sandwich. Toppings and sauces were super limited as well. Some friends had the gyros and they said they were OK. For the prices they charge, I would say "Pass." You can find better "Greek fast food" elsewhere.

I like this restaurant a lot. The food comes out fast, it is consistently good, and Georgie is a welcoming host. The chicken kabobs have always been cooked perfectly (not dry like some kabobs) and there is enough for me to save some for lunch the next day. I avoid the busiest times because parking is scarce, but otherwise it is one of my favorites for a good, fast meal.

Very busy but liked the food. Parking is a pain but I ordered for pick up and food was ready. I had the greek chicken and it was good. Kids like it to. Wish they had online ordering.

This place is absolutely delicious and fresh-something the North Shore is in short supply of. Greek Feast is clean, has fast and friendly service and is down right good. Georgie V really knows how to make a restaurant!!

I've waited so long for thsi place to open so I had pretty high expectations. The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. I especially loved the chicken gyros and lemon rice soup. Greek salad came with the Greek Chicken my son ordered and the kids shishkabobs were great too. Lots of food!! A little crazy for the first day but I went early and had no trouble with parking. Can't wait to carry out dinner.

This restaurant is located in a renovated service station and serves good Greek-inspired fast food for dine-in customers as well as customers that desire take-out service. The private parking lot is somewhat small and due to the location of the restaurant on a busy corner with a traffic signal, vehicular departures going eastbound onto Dundee from the restaurant are not legally permitted. The restaurant has a modern airy look with lots of windows (looking onto the parking lot and the street traffic). You order at a counter, get a number, fill up the cup they give you for soft drinks at a soft-drink dispenser, find a seat and place your number at visible location at the table so that your order can be brought to you when its ready. The service is very quick. The 3-spreads with pita is a good starter and can serve as a meal in itself. For illustrative purposes, pricing for the chicken gyro as of November 2010) is between the pricing at Roti (for a chicken roti pita) at the higher end and the Pita Inn (for a chicken shwarima on a pita sandwich) at the lower end. Greek Feast is a nice alternative for those seeking a quick meal when in the area.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Kenosha with the family. We (the adults) got a combo of gyros and chicken souvlaki. The Kids both got chicken gyros with rice. The Pita bread by itself is pretty good. Some seasoning I couldn't identify, but easily could be an appetizer all on its own. The rest of the food was good, but nothing exceptional. Overall a great choice for a quick stop.

When I picked my daughter up at dance class last week in Northbrook I found myself wondering (yet again) what's for dinner. did a quick Yelp search to see what was nearby and came across Greek Feast. To be honest the Yelp reviews are pretty mediocre, which is why I've stayed away, but a few friends have told me they are fans so figured I'd give it a shot. I placed an order for lots of stuff for the fam: a few greek salads, chicken gyros plate, hummus, pita, sides of rice etc. They had all my faves with the exception of greek leaves. They told me they'd have it ready in 10-15 minutes. I showed up about 3 minutes later expecting to wait a bit, but it was magically waiting for me. Everyone in my house was very happy. The kids went crazy for the hummus. My 2 year old ate it with some pita like a normal person. However, my 4 year old liked it so much that she literally just skipped the pita and ate it straight out of a bowl. Gross IMO, but she was happy. The chicken gyro plate was ginormous so I expected to eat half that night and save the other half for dinner the next night. However, it was too good to wait and I ended up eating most of it in one sitting. It turned out to be a bad idea because I was uncomfortably full, but gives you an idea of how good those chicken gyros were. My husband was quite satisfied with his greek salad as well. When it comes to greek food we typically pick up from Avli* in Winnetka. While Avli has a nicer atmosphere for a night out, in the future I'll likely do take out from Greek Feast based on the price, fast service & tastiness. * yelp.com/biz/avli-estiat…

Horrible horrible customer care. I was here last Wednesday and I frequent this establishment often. I left my $130 ray bans on the table I was sitting at. After realizing my mistake I returned to the establishment today and was told by the beautiful girl behind the counter that she remembers and put my sunglasses behind the counter. They can't find them. The manager/owner and brother come out and search haphazardly and tell me they never had them. This is disgusting customer care and the owner never even offered a sandwich! Never ever return.

Absolutely love this place! Great food all around but I especially enjoyed the Greek fries and Greek Potatoes. Greek fries have feta on top and a little lemon. They were delicious! Food is a little pricey but what can you expect in Northbrook. I wish they had more locations!

I had been craving Greek food for a while when a co-worker suggested we check out Greek Feast for lunch one day. I was in. She told me the place fills up very quickly during peak lunch time, so we headed over a little early to beat the rush and be sure we got a table. She was right, there wasn't an empty table to be seen around 12:30. We shared an order of Kafte fries for the table. My co-worker said I had to try them, and she was right. They were delicious. I ended up getting the chicken souvlaki "feast" which was the chicken pita wrap, a drink, and a side for less than $10. The chicken and tzaziki were great, but I didn't think the rice pilaf (my side) was that great. Next time, I'd get fries or try the soup. Another co-worker ordered baklava for the table. I tried a small piece and it was good, very sweet though. All the food came out fresh, just-prepared, and quickly, so we didn't have to wait a long time when we are in. I appreciated that on a workday. This is a pretty solid spot for lunch is you're up in the Northbrook/Deerfield area. I'm sure I'll head back with my co-workers again soon.

Greek Feast is pretty convenient for me...so I will swing through on occasion and grab some pretty decent Greek food to go. Service - I've only ordered for carry-out from here, so I don't know if the service is any different of an experience eating there. I will say that the staff at the counter where you order are generally polite and do their jobs well. I have no complaints there. Food - Food is fine - it's nothing particularly amazing, but I do like it better than some of the typical gyros from the local catch all fast food joints. It's not as greasy. I generally get the dinner plate, which comes with some salad and another side. I usually go with gyros, with the side of kafte fries. It's a spiced feta spread on the fries...pretty tasty. The one thing I will say is that the portion of gyro meat is a smidge small for the money (but not egregiously so). And they get the take out right, keeping all the sauces and dressings separate from the food so it holds up while it travels. Prices are in line with other more quick service but nicer places for a dinner. At the end of the day, Greek Feast is a nice, convenient establishemnt where I can grab some pretty decent Greek fare for a reasonable price. It's not quite into must-have territory for me, but they will get repeat business from me.

Went here for lunch on a weekday. It was a little noisy inside during the lunch rush, but I didn't mind. In addition to regular tables, they have a long table in the middle that's community style seating - so you might be sitting with people other than those in your party. A little unique and a good use of space, I think. Had a classic gyro in a pita - it had gyro meat, tomatoes, red onions, and tzatziki sauce - it tasted good and met my expectations. Good quality for the price. I didn't think I'd have room for a side because the gyro was stuffed pretty full of meat, so unfortunately I didn't try the soup (even though other reviewers say it's amazing). Guess I'll just have to come back again!

I've been to Greek Feast numerous times. Shame on me for supporting this establishment. The food is mediocre. The service isn't any better. Tonight was the last time I'll ever set foot in Greek Feast. My wife and I walked in for a quick dinner at 8pm. The restaurant is open until 9pm. The help clearly wasn't happy to see us as I'm guessing they wanted to go home early. After a young man asked us for our order, a woman interrupted and told us only carry out was open. I commented that the hours are posted outside the restaurant as being open until 9pm. Someone who appeared to be a Manager then reiterated the carry out only situation. I asked where it said that and he didn't have a response. I enjoy supporting local businesses that appreciate their customers. Greek Feast clearly doesn't care about their customers and now this customer is done supporting them.

Aside from the beautiful pictures of Mykonos and my love for Greek mythology, I hadn't experience much of Greek food. I'm sure this is Americanized Greek food, but it's as good as it can get. I've been here a few times with coworkers and the chicken pita has yet to disappoint me. The chicken is flavorful, veggies crisp, and the pita is warm and fluffy. This place gets backed during lunch time so come early!

Good quality and flavorful Greek recipes with reasonable prices and quick service. I ordered the Chicken & Beef Souvlaki Combo and it came with two sides. I chose Greek Salad and Greek Potatoes. Both very good. The location is conveniently located at the corner of Dundee and Pfingsten. Just look for the Greek Blue building.

My old hood. Good, easy place. Everything is straight forward Greek food. The gyros are fantastic; go with the chicken gyros for a different spin as well. I love the Greek fries as a side. When you get to go, the plates the food come in are great; it separates each side and it's very convenient. Think it's priced a bit high and I thought the Greek chicken was just okay; usually one of my favorite Greek dishes. But if I'm in Northbrook and looking to pickup something quick, this is a great go to. We also got them to cater a party a while back and it was a big hit, no issues there.

This spot is GREAT for lunch! It is super quick and can be healthy. I personally love the horiatiki salad with chicken souvlaki. They have gluten free pita, for those in the same boat as me and can't eat gluten. The salad does not have any lettuce - instead it has a ton of veggies (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions) and a protein. Make sure to get here before 12pm during the week. The spot typically runs out of parking spots by 12pm.

Let me just say that I have been eating gyros since I was a little person. My mother use to walk it over for lunch to school because I refused to eat anything else! So you get older and try to be health conscience and try not to overdose on things that are not good for you. I cut daily gyros out of my life..... Too greasy, over processed and salty!! Until I found this place. The food is seriously sublime. It's like a Greek restaurant and fast food place had a baby and it was this!! The food is phenomenal. There are no restaurant depot boxes here. They make everything fresh and to order. The Gyros is not greasy by any means. I don't know how they do it or what they do but the bread is fluffy and fresh, the gyros is perfectly cooked and the veggies are fresh!! It's always consistent and I cannot say I've had anything bad on this menu thus far. I indulge and wait for this meal as if I may have it for the last time (heavens forbid). NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART: I of course "make it a feast" by adding a avgolemono (egg lemon Greek soup) soup to my order with a drink. Now the gyros is amaze but this soup is BOSS! I've had it home made, restaurant made, yaya made, mom made and have never had it made the way it is here. It's lemony creamy rich and just perfect. I love it, I adore it, I dream of it, i live for it and it's my prerogative to do so. And I do. At least once a week. Don't hate the player.... Hate the game. Go try this place and get the soup. Seriously, like go.

I've eaten Gyros all over Chicago. Never have I had a place tell me they wouldn't put the tomatoes and onions on the side!!! This place is a joke! Looks great, but their unwillingness to do my sandwich the way I wanted......good luck staying in business in Chicago with that attitude. I left, they don't deserve my business.

Great place! Food is super consistent. I go here petty often and every time the service and food remains the same. I give it 3 stars primarily cause I can't say this is the best Greek food around. Perfect choice for lunch! The meat is great.

Quick and friendly service and good quality food. Order online and pock up...super quick...in and out. Soup today was really good. Better than I recalled it to be in the past. Chicken pita was really good but a little pricey for the portion but quality was very good. A couple more morsels of chicken would be perfect. I'll certainly be back.

Love this place! We use it for takeout all the time and often serve Greek Feast to company visiting us (after putting our take-out on real plates). Bonus that our children love Greek Feast! The fries with feta cheese topping are a favorite treat and the chicken kabob are our standard. The salads are also fantastic. If you go during lunchtime on a weekday, make sure to go early or the parking lot will be full.

When my brother came to Chicago for a vacation, I brought him here twice because he loves Greek food. It didn't matter what food we ordered because when they come to our table, the food is always cooked and seasoned very well. We ordered a whole grilled fish once and my brother said it was the best grilled fish from a restaurant he has ever tasted. I agree with him. The fish was just juicy and flavorful. The servers who attended to us during our visit in the restaurant were quick and ready to serve us. It was easy to call their attention. Pylos is indeed the real thing when it comes to good dining and service. Love this place.

Average... That's the perfect word for this place.... Gyro was OK... Short on meat, and overloaded with tomatoes and onions... Rice pilaf tasted like minute rice... Prices are pretty high... But, for the North Shore, it's to be expected Probably won't be back

I am so upset about this restaurant. I love the food and I love the flavor. But, when it comes to service they are the worst. They would not put anything except for the sauce on the side. If I wanted to personalize any of the orders they would not let me. If you like regular Greek food try it out but if you want to customize your food stay away!

So close to my office...but I'll NEVER go back. Pita Press Sandwich, should have taken a picture $9.95 got me: 7 thin slivers of bland gyro meat 5-7 french fries a TINY bit of Kafta spread 2 pitas for a top and bottom. What a rip-off, no wonder they are ALWAYS hiring! The Avgolemono soup was so bland. Such a waste of $$$ I will spend my $$$ at Josh's or Teddyfabz. Georgie V, stick to pancakes buddy, cause most Greeks would be embarassed to call ANYTHING this skimpy a "feast"

This was our first visit to Greek Feast. We had passed it by many times. It is a huge blue building that is not easily missed. My husband and I split the gyro sandwich and added a fountain drink and side salad for an additional $2.99. The sandwich was unbelievably small compared to other gyro sandwiches I've had elsewhere. The salad came on the same plate, no feta or anchovies....& they forgot to give us the tzatziki sauce altogether. We had asked for it on the side but never got it. This is a large, pleasant environment for a fast food establishment. My only complaint was that the sandwich should have been larger for $5.99. May or may not return.

I want to like this place SO much more than I do. I love Georgie, LOVE Georgie V's, but Greek Feast is not one of my top favorites when it comes to gyros. It's also disappointing b/c this place is SO close to where I work and live. However, when it comes to gyros, I always choose to make the special trip out to the Works....it's the best, hands down no contest. I also think Cookers makes a better gyro and for a much better price with the fries included. I would come back if I was pressed for time and needed something quick. Although, as others mention as well, the parking is not ideal and this place gets busy during primetime lunch hours.

This was an interesting place. I had to think for awhile what I really wanted to say as the restaurant is a really nice place for the type of restaurant it is. This is about the overall experience. If there were half stars this would be 2.5. 2 is definitely too low for this place. Decor - Beautifully done. There is no waiter service and this is a high end casual. Food - We split 2 different dishes... Taverna Chicken - This was very good. It had a great flavor, was presented well and cooked perfectly. The portion size seemed good. However, I think the price was slightly more than other places offering a similar product. i.e. Dengeos is $8.75 vs 9.99 here. You do get 2 side options versus 1 at Dengeo's but I think I would be ok with 1 side and pay a little less. Gyros - The Gyros was ok. I feel I have had better. Also, for $9.99 they should be ashamed at the portion they put on the plate. It was probably 2-3 ounces at best. Most sandwiches offer more than this. Also, on their menu I looked to see what it came with and asked for the sauce on a separate plate. It came with onions and tomatoes on the plate (not listed on the board) and when I told them to correct it, they just cleaned them off and put them on another plate. They did not remake the dish. My wife does not like the taste of either and would not eat the parts that tasted like it. Big fail here. Do you think we are stupid? They also did not do a good job of cleaning the plate as some was left on. Drink refills are free and they have a nice variety of menu options. I would go back if I was in the area but be more careful about what I order. Many others have mentioned food portions or prices. It is very clear there are other places that offer a better value.

Big fan of the Chicken Gyro plate with a side salad and feta fries. Totally unimpressed with the Greek potatoes...very dry and not characteristic of the Greek potatoes I've had before. So...just stay away from the potatoes and you'll be good! Parking during the weekday lunch hour is terrible, their parking lot is not very well laid out, so be prepared to navigate through that.

I like the food here very much, especially the gyros (both chicken and beef) and the Greek salad. HOWEVER...the management will nickel-and-dime you with add-on charges, at least in certain instances. For example, if you order a side of gyros, you get one (tiny) container of tzatziki. Ask for another and they charge you for it. Even worse, if you order two or even three sides of tzatziki, they STILL only give one free (tiny) container before charging you for the rest! I've complained to management about this, more than once, to no avail. Again, it's not the money, it's the point - and the feeling that lingers afterward - that takes this place down a few pegs.

Same owner as Georgie V's also in Northbrook and same crappy food and owner. Food is dry and tasteless. I just don't know how some people can stay in business with crappy food. Perhaps because there's little competition. Georgie, close up and try something else not food related.

We were picking up something in Northbrook and got hungry - checked Yelp and came across Greek Feast. Some of the reviews make it sound so good it is almost a religious experience.. I would not go that far, but it was okay. The building it is in is very modern, very well decorated and very clean. When you enter, you go to the counter and order. They bring it to your table. Their menu is a little sparse - they offer Gyros and Souvlaki made with pork, beef, chicken or lamb. They have hummos and Greek salads and falafel. Of course, you can get these as sandwiches on Pita bread, or as platters. Kerrie got a gyro, I had Chicken souvlaki and Jon had a chicken gyro. We all had fries and soft drinks. The souvlaki meat was good. The pita was soft - many Greek restaurants grill the pita in oil before serving but not here. The tomatoes seemed fresh as did the onions, but the lettuce was not as fresh as it could be. The fries were too salty and tasted as if the oil was not fresh. And, soft drink are soft drinks.... Similar reactions to the food from both Kerrie and Jon. So, while the building and decorations are very cool, as mentioned in many of the other reviews, the whole experience left a lot to be desired.

Terrible food. Worse service. Had a combo plate w/ dessert no vegetable/salad no tsatsiki had to ask. Awful food and I got shafted on a desert. Seriously - Shouting at the top of my lungs. Stay away!!

I really like the Greek salads & grilled chicken. Real good alternative to fast food. Every dish I've had has been tasty and fresh. You order at the counter and a server brings your food out to your table. These guys do a great job!

My husband and I come to Greek Feast at least once a month. The food is always tasty and fresh and the restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff is very educated on gluten and many items on the menu are gluten free. They even have gluten free pitas and delicious fries. This has become one of my favorite places since it can be tough to find quick and inexpensive gluten free food. Our only complaint is from a visit a few months ago. My husband got the soup and did not care for it at all. Generally, we have a great experience and really enjoy the food.

Came here for the first time today. I had the chicken souvlaki, which was actually very good! The chicken was cooked & seasoned just right. The rice pilaf was good as well, just the right amount of lemon flavor. However, for the $10 price tag, the portions are very small. I only had 2 pieces of chicken in my sandwich & just barely one full scoop of rice. Maybe on a good day I will return but probably not soon.

I love Greek Feast! The food is always fresh, the pita bread is to die for and the portion size is wonderful. I've never dine in, but the atmosphere is nice. I've always gotten either the Fish entree or the Chicken gyro and am always pleased. We order as a group at times for lunch and they do delivery for us. Once they stated that it wasn't to their minimum order but that this time they still will deliver for us... that's excellent service. ENJOY!

Your Previous Reviews 7/8/2013 Edit " Gluten Free !!! Chicken Gyros on gluten free pita!! OMG. I am so happy! Girl at counter knew what had gluten and what didn't. She was so helpful. It was a delight to eat fast food that tasted great! I went because I really craved a gyros. I was willing to not feel well, if it wasn't gluten free--- but I feel great! I had no idea they had gluten free food at GREEK FEAST! I was driving by and stopped. This was such a pleasant surprise! Thank you!!! I'll be back. Went back in December 2013 Still wonderful.

Standard greek fare to be had, reasonable prices. We had Gyros, pork kabob, soup, spicy fries. Clean dining area, interesting architecture. It is like Portillos where you order/pay right away then seat yourself and they bring you your food. Beer and wine available. We are HUGE Georgie V fans but not feeling as much fanatical love for the Feast. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing to distinguish it from the other greek joints either.

I just went here for the first time because I was in the mood for a gyros. This will also be the last time I go here. I ordered a gyros plate, which comes with 2 sides as well and I asked for everything on the side. They give you a number and you take a seat wherever you would like. Just a few minutes later my food came out, smothered with the sides all over the gyros meat. I thought most of the gyros meat was covered up by the sides but I was sadly mistaken. The portion of meat on this gyros meat is appalling for costing $10.86!!!!! They also cut the pita bread into 4th's. I couldn't even make 4 mini gyros sandwiches with the amount of meat I got, I could only make 3. I said something to management and they did nothing about this. The girl told me that they actually weigh the meat in back!!! (6 oz). There is no way I got 6oz of meat. I was extremely disappointed with the portion for the amount I paid. I will not go back and support this business because they essentially rip off their customers. I do NOT recommend this place unless you don't care about money!

One of my favorite fast food Greek restaurants in the northern suburbs. The chicken souvlaki and the chicken gyros are great and so is the baked chicken. The pitas are always fresh, warm and soft. The staff is friendly and helpful, the dining room is clean and light, but can be a little noisy at peak times. Unfortunately the beef/lamb gyros is really not up to par, and can be a little rubbery and dry. For a quick inexpensive lunch or dinner this is the place for Greek food, it's no "Greek Town" but for Northbrook it's as good as it gets!

Okay Greek food at an okay price. My family recently ordered take out from Greek Feast. We got two gyro platters, a chicken gyro platter, egg lemon soup, hummus and the kafte fries. All the dishes were decent, but tasted a bit bland. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Service was good and the order for take out was ready exactly when they promised. Will probably go back, but as much for convenience as for the quality.

Awful service, even worse food. Cold gyros meat, dry pita bread not even warmed. What a rip off. Will not go back.
