Went here for lunch today w my husband and ma. Our server was Bernard and he was FANTASTIC. He had about four other tables he was waiting on but we couldnt tell, because he was that attentive. Great bang for your buck. Not skimpy. Great options. We ordered apps, main entrees each, non alcoholic beverages for a total of $114. Glad we chose this place for lunch! Will definitely be back.

We were greeted and seated very quickly at lunch time which was great. Our server was very friendly. He got a little busy and didn't check back as much during the second half of our visit. It happens I guess. The food was just okay but I didn't get anything too exciting. I had the lobster bisque soup which was good but I have had better. Although I would order it again. I also had a side salad with grilled shrimp. Again, that was just okay. I wouldn't say the shrimp was anything special.

Red lobster on Cumberland has always been a favorite. I've been coming here since I was 12 years old and the food has always delicious and the servers are super friendly. Never had a bad experience here. I almost always do the 4 course for $16, starting off with the potato bacon soup (to die for!) and do like a shrimp/scallop entree.

Although I had Red Lobster before, this was my first time at this particular one. It was a weekend so we had to wait for about 20 minutes, not bad. Our waiter was a little on the weird side but she was very nice and funny in her own little way. We got the 4 course meal special, it seemed like a good idea, it came with soup, salad, a main entree and dessert! For 16.99? who can beat that? Little did we know, that was not the best idea after stuffing my self with biscuits, eating the soup (creamy potato bacon delicious) and the salad I was stuffed. I ordered scallop and shrimp Alfredo. It was really great, but the shrimp and scallops where so tiny, I had to look for them. (Imagine the shrimp you get with shrimp fried rice) anyway for the price I paid I guess I shouldn't complain right? Overall the food was still delicious, I wouldn't get the four course meal again but this Red Lobster was very clean! Def would come to this one again!

Great customer service. As busy as the establishment was, our server and staff did an excellent job. Food, was hot, fresh and came in a timely manner. Great job.

Very dissappointed.I am not trying to be rude but this place smells bad and the food wasn't fresh... I am very concern with their sanitation .As a seafood lover I was lured the colorful TV comercial... but the experience wasn't good at all.Me and my husband both were feelingsick after we had dinner at this place. I won't be returning.

Ok, listen up. Where I come from Red Lobster is a big deal. An outing. An event. My partner in crime, Anthony, and I look forward to this moment. We save up our sad little dollars, hop on the bus, and take the hour long trip to this seafoody heaven. Since there are no Red Lobsters in the city limits, we have to travel, and it better be worth it. This occasion took place at the Norridge location. WAAAAAAY better than the Touhy location fosho. The cheddar biscuits were hot and melty, and the location was suprisingly clean and kid free. Not to mention, this was during Crabfest. AMAZING! It seems like they're always having some type of fest. Lobsterfest, Crabfest, GetInMyMouf fest. Obviously Red Lobster is not a gourmet seafood house with top notch crab legs but so the fuck what! Everybody can't afford the eat and live like that all the time and Red Lobster is an affordable solution! Suggestions: If you order a frozen drink, you will then order 5. The lobster/artichoke dip is to die for. You think you can stay away from the dessert menu, bu you can not. You are not stronger than that chocolate chip cookie ice cream thingy. No one is.

Our waitress was amazing, but none of the food we received was fresh. The shrimp looked like the kind you get in your Chinese takeout, not suitable for this type of restaurant. The lobster was old and the lemons and strawberries were way past their time.. everything looked like it should have been dumped days ago, yet it was served to us. As good as our waitress was to us, it does not make up for the quality of the food which is what we came for in the first place. My boyfriend and I will not be back.

I've never been a big fan of this place, nor did I change my mind this time around. It was my grandma's birthday so she picked it but had it been any other day I would've said NO. The waiter was cute but seemed to have no experience at all. He took his time with everything. I didn't really hold it against him since I know the feeling of starting a new job (that's what I accredited it to). The food was also OK, and they were in the middle of construction and had tables covered up. I personally find that appalling, and think they should close the restaurant during construction but hey who's asking me right? I wouldn't put too much effort to get to this place on any normal circumstance. It's an OK place and I would only go here again if it's literally the only thing open in the area.

I have never been here first time. I was very skeptical because i dont like sea food only ceviche marlin (my favorite) so i said F### it lets go. celebrated sweetest day with my hubby. We got there it was a pretty pack parking lot. We got greeted by the host and waiting time was 15 min we sat in the bar for some drinks. 3 minutes later we were seated lol. We dat down i had a amaretto on the rocks delicious. My hubby had a beer. We ask the waitress to explain the menu bcuz it was our first time. So she does very well and in detail. We got biscuits they were very delicious. We ended up ordering coconut shrimp with Alfredo shrimp pasta and mashpotatoes. Yes i know why order this if i dont like sea food. But i love coconut. My husband's orders garlic shrimo with their rice and a steak. The steak wasnt all that for me the rice was really good. The coconut shrimp with pineapple sauce was amazing . I also had a mudslide drink very good as well. In resume i love my experience and i would def come back again ofcourse for the same thing lol.

My daughter's 15th Birthday and she wants to go to her favorite restaurant. I ask the hostess what they do for Birthdays and she Nothing unless you order a dessert. I said even with 3 Lobster fest and she said yes. So I ordered her favorite, key lime pie. Our waitress ( Chris ) was great and kept asking us anything else or any dessert, not knowing. After about 20 minutes of this embarrassment I told my husband and daughter to go to the car. As soon as the hostess seen them leave I seen her run to the waitress. She came up to me and the Manager. I was to upset even to what the So called Manager had to say. What could he say " let me give you a free dessert next time you come in"...NO THANKS!. Don't spend your hard earned Money Here. WILL NEVER GO BACK! BRAINLESS JOB, SIT PEOPLE AND TAKE REQUEST. By the way it was a Wednesday at 8 pm, Not Busy!

I now love this location thanks to our waiter! He was such a genuinely nice man. The only problem is I never got his name. He was on the shorter side, wore glasses and was also Latino. Best service I've had in a long time. He really cared and it showed! Not only that but the food was better than usual this time and came out extremely quick. My husband had a headache and he provided him with Tylenol which saved the entire night! Hopefully when we go back I can spot him out because If I could I would request him.

Came here for a birthday, literally waited an hour to get served our food. The restaurant was not even full, seemed like it might have been understaffed. The food was good but I dont think at the moment we cared. We were so hungry we would've walked out if our waitress wasnt so friendly. She did a nice job of reassuring us that our order was placed and coming out soon. But for me "soon" couldnt have been any later. Not worth the wait.

You know, I never really respected Red Lobster because it's a chain restaurant. But, I have to say, the food is pretty good. We came here for a friend's bday and I liken it to The Olive Garden: it's not the "hottest" Chicago restaurant known for it's adventuresome culinary cuisine...but it's some tasty food nonetheless. The portions are really big for the price you pay, the ambiance is nice, and the waitress (Elizabeth M.) was very accommodating. We had a great time and enjoyed our food. I'll have to frequent this place more often!

my UPDATE: It's changed since my last review. I really enjoy the new atmosphere and the food and servers are nice. Its a must go. Review from 2011: I have had such disappointment with this restaurant its unbelievable. Why i keep returning is beyond me. Once there was a long black hair on the bottom of my plate so of course I didn't see it till my pasta was almost done. Another time there was a small blond hair in a drink I ordered (i have brown hair). Another time the waiter took my order wrong I usually order the Cajun pasta, he gave me Alfredo. When I told him about it he had major attitude and took it back but just put Cajun seasoning on the pasta. Yet I continued to go back and have ordered 3 different occasions appetizers all of which I am still waiting on. I haven't been back in a while and I have no plans to either.

Let me start by saying, I would have never gone back to this Red Lobster had it not been for my aunt who asked that we go there for her birthday. That being said, it was nice being seated quickly and together, unlike last time as they proposed. Granted, it was a weekday, not a Sunday, so I am sure that made a difference. Sat for awhile before being acknowledged and the waitress seemed bothered that we were ready to order immediately. Well, we had awhile to look at the menu, so why was she surprised? When our food arrived it looked great. "Looked" is the word I am emphasizing here. I took a bite of the fish of the day, the salmon (the waitress annoyingly pronounced the L in salmon), The entire bottom was burnt. And I don't mean well done. I don't mean, "Oh, it's a little singed." I mean burnt to a crisp. Fearing the wait and inevitable spit in my food, I did not return it. I ate what I could and wasted $15 on a piece of fish I wouldn't feed to my cat.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and I was extremely disappointed the other night. I wanted to take my family out and have a good time. The service was mediocre. The food came out in 5 minutes, but I could quickly see why. Everything looked and tasted like it was microwaved. My boyfriend ordered a 20$ dish and he got little fried bits of under cooked scallops, fish, and shrimp. It was just tossed on the plate. I could have gotten that dish at a cheaper place for a fraction of the price. My dish was 35$ and my lobster was overcooked, shrimps were soggy. The food was just not up to par with what I remember eating years ago.

I love Red Lobster, just not this location. It was my first visit here and wasn't terribly impressed. We were seated quickly for a Sunday night, but the booth still had crumbs from the previous group of people. We had good service and were pretty well taken care of. We had our drinks and sinfully delicious biscuits. You can't beat those biscuits that put all other biscuits to shame. The meal that I had was pretty tasty. The lobster and mixed seafood proved to be a good, gluttonous feast that has put me into a pleasant food coma. I got steamed broccoli which was oversteamed and overseasoned. What's so wrong with plain, steamed broccoli? Overall, I had a good meal and experience there. I just probably won't return here because I got the general feeling of dirty, ickyness and not a completely clean establishment.

Quite simply this is a very nice place to dine. The food is nothing less than excellent and much better than places which charge twice as much. The waiters/waitresses are always very friendly with a reasonable wait time for your meal. Though some might complain it would be worth the wait and claim the lobster here is not fresh. I can't answer that definitely, but do enjoy watching the live lobsters they have in little aquariums near the entrance. However, they lose a star for allowing one of their own employees to talk extremely loudly the entire time I was there a couple of months ago. Hopefully that will remain a one time incident.

Every time I come to a Red Lobster I can't figure out why I did. Lobster not that great, small shrimp drowned in butter, crab legs that you really have to work at, but those rolls can't be beat. Yes, it's cheaper than other seafood places, but still not worth it.

had 2 come here cuz my gf & i both had gift cards & they had this 4course promotional goin on. u get a soup, salad, entree & dessert for $15! thats a great deal right!? we both got somethin from the promotion as well as calamari & mozarela sticks 4appetizers. the appetizers were ok but our food was much better. u cant really beat all that food 4the price. what made the meal even better was our waitress melissa. she was so friendly and attentive 2whatever we needed. we even asked 4the manager 2let him know how awesome she was! will definitely some back here!

It's good for a once in a while thing. It's okay, but I'm just not crazy about chain restaurants. I like it but not a place I crave to go to. Good service good food! And I love your biscuits and lobster and that shrimp scampi stuff!

I will not be back. Let me start off by saying that I have eating here for over 20 years and I am a great tipper. I never complain or cause any type of issue. I am the most laid back customer and a server's dream. This used to be a nice inexpensive place to eat, and the few older servers that are left, god bless them they are great, they deserve better, just like the customers do. They should really work elsewhere. I hadn't been here in about a year and I decided to stop for lunch with two other people. When we entered there was no one else waiting to be seated, so I expected to be ushered right in like usual. Not this time. The obnoxious excuse for a hostess (who, I kid you not was missing a couple of teeth to go along with her bleached blonde trailer trash mullet) gave me a beeper and told me it would be a few minutes. ???Wha??? 5 mintes passed, and then a family of 5 whites stumbles in. A hostess comes right over with menus in hand and takes them straight to a table. Hmm. 5 more minutes pass and another group of 4 more white folks comes in and again is taken straight to a table. Yet me and my two hispanic friends are still sitting there waiting with our useless little beeper in hand. I stand up, take two steps and ask the "hostess" at the front desk "Did you forget about us" . We are sitting two feet away from her in her line of sight. She looks at me like I fell from the sky and the second hostess who has been seating people, other than us, hears me and comes in and tries to lie and tells me, you must have not felt the pager go off. The dummy at the desk tells her " I haven't called THEM yet". I am right next to the moron. Before I can say another word, the runner tells us she is soooo sorry, please follow her. We should have walked right out, but we just didn't feel like finding somewhere else to eat. She seats us and a surly looking polish boy who barely speaks english comes over to take our orders. He spends as little time as possible waiting on us, brings us cold biscuits and takes forever to bring our food. While eating as fast as possible so we can get the heck out of this horrible place our fourth friend calls to meet us, but we tell her not to bother we are leaving soon and we order her a meal to go. We flag down our server and place the to go order. He brings the order asap, drops the bag on the table with the check and walks away. I pay my bill, and I leave the guy a tip anyway because I am a saint; cue the harps. On the way out I notice I am missing a side from the to go bag: A side salad, which equals two bucks tops, not a whole darn lobster, a sad little side salad. I can't find the server, so I walk over to the current hostess; snaggle tooth is now gone. I very quietly and politely tell her, Excuse me, but the server missed the side on my order, can you let him know please. She looks at me like I pulled a knife on her and tells me she will get a manager. I tell her, I don't have a complaint, I just want the side. She ignores me, walks over to one manager doofus, who looks over at me and waves her away, and then gets a second manager- a gross looking little guy with filthy glasses, I wonder how the little turd can even see where he is going. He walks over very slowly all red faced and tells me " Is there a problem"? I tell him no there is no problem, just an oversight on my order, I don't need a manager, just my side. He interrogates me as though I had time to stick the side down my pants in the time it took to walk from my table to the front desk. I am not even wearing a jacket and the only other thing besides the to go bag in my hand was my small clutch. I give him the bag so he can see for himself. He sends the hostess to the back, she comes back with my side salad and puts it in my bag all the while they glare at me and are silent like they just GAVE me a container of gold, and not a crappy little side salad which I already paid for. To the snaggle tooth trailer trash hostesses, the crappy Managers: You do not work at Alinea. This is the equivalent of a seafood Mcdonalds. There is no need for snoottiness, racial profiling or outright rudeness. You work at Red Lobster. RED LOBSTER. I am pretty sure your fancy restaurant is not listed in the Michelin Guide. Thank you for treating a customer like garbage after 20 years of loyal patronage. Sad to see the turn this place has taken, I hope to see it closed one day soon and your disgusting little excuse for a staff sent back to their respective trailer parks.

I think Red Lobster is a good example of an overpriced decent restaurant, but this location is one of the worst I've been to. Not to say that its bad, or that the food is bad-- but more that this particular one just didn't win me over. I'd say oddly enough it has to do with the atmosphere. If I'm going to spend 15~20 bucks a dish- I plan on at least having my own privacy when I eat. I felt like the tables and chairs were set up cafeteria style, and if I'm wanting to go out for a nice dinner with my fiance I definitely don't want to share it with 20 other strangers. So definitely go for the food, but not for the atmosphere of this one. They really should re-examine their setup- you know- build some walls. :)

I am sad to give a Red Lobster 2 stars, because despite it being a chain, I love Red Lobster. This thumbs down is all about the service. Our waitress was terrible, took ages to get us water, drinks and our soup. She got our order wrong and then gave us a serious attitude problem when we confronted her about it. We had to speak to a manager (who by the way must have a very interesting social life because he had glitter around his eyes) to finally get it taken care of. The capper: We were seated way in the back, despite ample table space, and we were next to a bunch of teen hostesses on their break eating and discussing various lewd sexual acts involving lobster claws. GROSSS.

i'm done with red lobster --well, at least this particular one. on more than several occasions the food was waaayyy under par.. pretty much a double bogey with a water hazard.. a couple times before i had tilapia from the daily specials menu.. i always got it parmesan crusted.. sounds yummy right? well, just imagine it way undercooked.. very mushy and just looking like i ate it and threw it back up onto my plate.. gross right? imagine getting that and being expected to eat it... eewwww.. anyway.. its not worth the amount of money they expect u to pay for the garbage they serve to you on a plate... the cheesy roll things are alright.. too much hype.. try the garlic rolls at bob chinn's and then talk to me about red lobster's inferior cheesy rolls.. lol the end

I know Red Lobster is a well known name but I'm surprised that there are people who haven't been there. I've been there a handful of times, I like it, but I'm not a fan of seafood. Been there with mostly family and once with my boyfriend. The crab cakes were alright, pretty much the best part of going there is the biscuits. If you're a fan of pasta you can order it with chicken or whatever other dishes they carry with seafood. My younger sister prefers plain pasta or with sauce on the side and they will provide for special orders. Depending on your server or the cooks that night you could either have a really great experience or an average one. Going in a group is more fun because even if the food is "just alright" it's a decent atmosphere to have a conversation in. Especially this particular location.

I typically go to this Red Lobster on a regular basis with one to three people (since it happens to be not only the closest one to me but smack dab in the middle for my friends to meet) for a late lunch or dinner. If I'm not drinking a hot tea or cold lemonade, I've allowed myself the pleasure of drinking one or two of their delicious Sunset Passion Colada (easy on the alcohol per my request). Some occasions I can be satisfied just ordering the tasty Lobster Pizza appetizer. Although the Crab-Crusted Tilipia is wonderful and highly recommended it is not always on the menu! The Parmesan Crusted Tilipia is also delicious. The New England Clam Chowder is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that their New York Strip Steak tastes great. Due to "personal taste", I ask for the baked potato and/or rice pilaf not their mash potatoes. The staff is attentive and tactful, some are quite personable. If anything is wrong or "not right" about your order, it will be addressed to your satisfaction. Avoid the late Friday night long line by getting there earlier.

Wow... was not expecting such bad reviews. I love red lobster and have been here often, never had a problem. My favorite time to come here is before 5 on a weekday. I've been there for lunch twice before and loved it. I've also been here to dinner a couple of times and never had a problem w/ the service. When they had all you can eat shrimp, we got seconds, but couldn't finish, our waitress was wonderful and let us take the rest home even though you are not supposed to. Another time we ordered some drinks and my fiance did not like the long island, it was way too strong, not appealing at all. The waitress must have sensed it and asked if we wanted something else instead. I've always been happy w/ the waitstaff but people change all the time. And yes I must agree.. I love the biscuits! Yummy!!!!

I went with my boyfriend's family on a Friday night during Lent, and the place was PACKED. However, the service was still pretty good for being so busy. I don't like seafood, so I just had some mozzarella sticks (bleh) and the biscuits (omg YUM!), my strawberry daiquiri was pretty good, too. My biggest complaints with this location were the nasty bathroom (but, like i said, they were insanely busy, and customers are disgusting people), and the parking. There were only a few handicapped parking spots, which were all taken. A few other handicapped patrons had parked on the lines between handicapped spaces, so I did, as well. Most police dept's will turn their head in a situation like this. Or, if they're going to be big enough douchebags to give a handicapped patron a ticket because the establishment is callous enough not to supply more spaces, at least the ticket is usually around $15. So when I saw the ticket on my windshield as we were leaving, I thought it said $25 (bad enough), but no. After paying Norridge the $25, they sent me a bill for $225 more - the ticket was actually for $250 even tho I AM handicapped and HAVE handicapped plates plainly displayed. The lesson? Don't eat in Norridge.

I try not to review too many chain restaurants , I'm not concerned that "Mr.Lobster" will ever loose too much business and close his place. Honestly , out of the few seafood places I frequent, this place has the best price , quality and consistency ratio of them all. Over the last couple of years , they have come a long way from the place I would go with my family and engorge myself on a platter of misc fried seafood. I have to tell you , the appetizers are reason enough to come here , I love the lobster artichoke dip with the tortilla chips , the fried calamari , the shrimp cocktail ,the raw oysters and the crab lobster fondue. The Coconut shrimp and the combo with the bacon wrapped scallops are good , I don't really like the stuffed mushrooms (I don't dig on mushrooms) which drags down the combo. I have been here a ton , and while I can't say I never got a bad server , they were never that bad , and there were way more good than bad ones. The ambiance is ridiculous , but it is so absurd , I'm kinda digging it, very jokey , definitely not anywhere to propose to someone. I do enjoy the big lobster tanks , you get to see just how much fight your dinner to be has in it. As for the entrees , my brother is a king crab super freak , and this is his pick to click for king crab anywhere , I have to say it is as good if not better than almost anywhere else. I have eaten the whole steamed lobster a few times , and as you would expect from a place called Red Lobster , it delivers on the yum. I have ordered many a fish of the day , Tilapia , snapper , mahi mahi , and marlin to name a few , they were always fresh and they will prepare them in any number of ways , from blackened to grilled , baked and steamed. I enjoyed every piece of fish I ever ordered from there. To flash back to the fried seafood combo , I can always go "back to the well", and know I'll enjoy every bite. There is also a grilled and steamed combo "Ultimate feast" I think it's called , with snow crab , lobster tail , scampi shrimp , and fried shrimp , probably my current favorite. This place is not trendy , pretentious , or even unique , but it delivers on what I want to find at a seafood place , consistently good seafood. There are places that do some things better , some do it cheaper , some do it with more flash , but I still go here.

My grandfather always takes me and my mom here. What I don't get is all the people from the Brickyard who treck up here. I'm not trying to be offensive, but there are Red Lobsters every where else and you have to treck up to ours. This restaurant really went to hell in a handbasket fast. Not implying anything, but seriously I used to love this restaurant now it's just somewhere where there's some good damned biscuits.

I've been to this location several times with my boyfriend and family members and I honestly can't complain. The food is what you would expect of a franchise this size - that is, good, but not overly exquisite and "to-die-for". I like the fact that they offer various specials and combinations, which is always a fun twist. I cannot complain about the service, because it has always been prompt, friendly, and polite. The food and drinks come out fairly fast and the staff make sure that your table is clean before the arrival of your next course. All in all, it's an enjoyable experience.

Lovely and so delusions food and seafood , I had a New Orleans salmon and shrimps is so yummy and lobster soup that what I liked the most . And the bread the serve over there melts in your mouth, would love to be back there again ;) 4 stars because it's always hard to find a parking spot, we are usually here on Sunday evenings

The stars on my review are purely for their sincerity when apologizing for everything that went wrong. First of all our server Octavio was wonderful However, The lady when I called told me there was a 40 min wait, there was no wait when I arrived 9 min later We sat down within 5 min The biscuits were 20 min late but when they arrived they were hot and delicious The soup was warm but tasty The salad was vey good, I had the Cesar and that was spot on My meal wasn't spectacular bad or good, it wasn't worth $18 tho, I had to return my broccoli as it was half mush but the manager (a young lady) came by and made things right, very good customer service skills (huge points) Don't try the coconut shrimp!! It's good but it taste like a coconut donut (very sweet you don't taste shrimp at all) they really should market it as a dessert The spicy pineapple shrimp, lobster and scallops were delish We had enough by this time and decided to forgo the dessert we had already ordered so they packed it for is to take home Due to their honest attempts at fixing our night I would come back because I'd want to give this location another shot.

My boyfriend and I came here on Valentine's day for dinner. This was our first time coming here and it was the best experience. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. My boyfriend order a Caesar salad, lobster bisque, and the ultimate fest. I order a Caesar salad, the new England clam chowder, and the ultimate fest. My boyfriend doesn't usually like salads but he loved the Caesar salad from this place. The lobster was unbelievably delicious just like the rest of the food. We will definitely be back soon. I loved this place.

Our server, Mattie, was top notch! Extremely attentive and friendly. I don't go to red lobster often, not a big fan. Other than the biscuits of course, always a fan of those. The last time was probably over 5 years ago. I was hungry for shrimp and with the bottomless shrimp going on I thought I'd give them another go. My first batch of coconut shrimp were tiny and over cooked. Not a complainer so I didn't say anything. They still had good flavor. Re-upped on more coconut shrimp and they were perfect. Then, she kept bringing more and more shrimp, flavors we didn't ask for but she thought we should try. Our table was set to feed a party of 8 in no time. Mattie, you rock!! I will be back for sure thanks to our server.

So my family and I just got out of a graduation that literally lasted 4 hours. So we are hungry!!! Anyways the five of us sat down and waited for our server. She came and introduced herself and took our drink order and walked away. Then right after that another server came up and introduced herself thinking she was going to be our server. We found it funny but they should have been more aware of the sections they are in. Our first round of food came out, I had a caeser salad and there was also clam chowder and the lobster bisque. And I'll tell you it was amazing. When our entrees came out then it was time to really feast. One dish was the cajun chicken alfredo. It was alright, it was a little to heavy on the cheese to sit and enjoy to the end. The other dish was the shrimp trio, which was amazing if you are a fan of shrimp. Basically having shrimp prepped in more than one way plus the diff sauces to pair it. I had the new tropical lobster tail. WOW. the fact that they had the meat still attached to the tail but it was still breaded in coconut shavings was impressived. The sauce that came with just made the dish to perfection. I almost finished my plate but unfortunately I filled my appetite with those complimentary biscuits that no one ever stops talking about. We grabbed our food to go and asked for the check. The server was very polite in handing our bill and helped box our food up. Only word of advice I'd give any future visitors is you don't want to go towards closing time because like in any other resteruant, they tend to rush a bit.

My husband and I came here on Sunday night to get some dinner around 7pm. He really wanted some of their fresh fish, and I was craving the snow crab legs. We have been to Red Lobster multiple times, and have ordered these dishes numerous times. However, this was our first time at this location. We were seated right away when we walked in and the staff was very attentive, from the hostess to our waiter. We decided to order right away because we already knew what we wanted. Once my husband ordered the Atlantic Salmon from the fresh fish menu, our waiter informed us that they were out of fresh fish. That was really disappointing, and it was only 7pm. I mean how can a seafood place be out of fresh fish! Anyways, we decided to get the snow crab legs to go and stop by Whole Foods on our way home to pick up some fresh fish. When we were done cooking the fish and sat down for dinner, I was really excited to dig into the crab legs. However, our disappointment continued when we started cracking the crab legs open and realized that about 60% of them were dry, brittle, and uneatable. I don't know if they were old, over-cooked, or just out of season, but they were unacceptable. I don't want to pay $30 for 1.5lb of snow crab legs and not even be able to eat half of them. I'm not sure when we will be returning to Red Lobster in general! VERY disappointing experience!

Red Lobster is my favorite seafood place because it has a nice variety of seafood and the food is not overly pricey. We like to eat out a lot and I especially like the Red Lobster in Norridge because the service is always great there. Of course, we always get seconds on the biscuits and we always go there at least 3 times during shrimp fest. I always leave there full and satisfied.

I must admit for my first time trying Red lobster I was very pleased and satisfied with my experience. I came on a Friday night and It was pretty busy but my friend and I approximately waited for about 15 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. I came during there Unlimited Shrimp for 15 bucks which was pretty damn good I ordered some fried shrimp (keep it safe lol) and I ordered the Parmesan crusted shrimp that I must say was to DIE for!! I really enjoyed it it was by far the best shrimp I've had in a while. And ooh let me not get started on the biscuits!!! YUMM YUMM YUMM!!! My friend ordered the ultimate feast and he was very pleased with it and I must say the LOBSTER was DEELISH!!! he had no complaints!! He also ordered an appetizer of Lobster-Crab-and-Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms that he seemed to enjoy. The salad was great not to drench in dressing and tasted very fresh. Overall I have no complains on the food it was great. The whole ambiance is pretty neat a little darker than I prefer but none the less nice. Our waiter was eh, I guess that's why I took off one star. I was a bit set back at how busy they were and he seemed to not work too well under pressure as he was a bit sweaty most of the time, but he managed. He wasn't overly friendly or rude but I expected a lil more interaction. Overall great experience and I WILL DEF COME BACK!

I am definitely a fan of the lobster that is red! Definitely hit this joint up when its endless shrimp and if its not then you can never go wrong with the seaside shrimp trio. I've never had anything I wasn't satisfied with and you can't beat the complimentary cheddar biscuits. Basically its a seafood chain restaurant that you can't go wrong with...sometimes service can be slow but be sure to keep good company. As far as locations I would only recommend the Lincolnwood establishment off of Touhy Ave. There's another southside one but I don't need to head that way and the one on Cumberland is not so great, a little dark and old looking. Nothing a remodeling couldn't take care of. Only reason I won't give Red Lobster five stars is you could definitely go to way better fresh seafood restaurants if you're willing and able to SHELL it out.

I have been coming here since I was a little kid. Today I Came back with my 3 kids and I was very pleased. Chris, our waitress, was one of the best servers I have had in a long time. She was friendly, quick, listened, and put up with my 3 toddlers. The food was good, as usual. I have had less memorable experiences at other red lobsters, but this visit was perfect.

My Mom loves Red Lobster, so of course when it was her birthday where else would I take her? She had the 30 shrimp deal which she enjoy a lot, she went for the shrimp alfredo/fried shrimp combo. I tried the bar harbor salad with shrimp. I have to say that salad was delightful. It comes with a blueberry vinaigrette, it has fruit and some pecans in it too. I would definitely get that again. Since it was her birthday they offered her a free dessert. She didn't want dessert, what with the yummy biscuits, salad and shrimp. I thought it was very nice for the staff to come over and sing to her and they presented her a menu from RL that had been signed by them. The staff there work very well together, helping each other out. Our waitress Mattie was a doll, very friendly and nice. When the small child behind us was fussy she quickly came by talked to the child ad calmed him down. Mom had a great time and a great meal, with leftovers, what more could you ask for?

I love this place! Have been coming here for years with my mom. When my grandmother was still alive we used to celebrate her birthday here every year at her request. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and delicious, and the experience is always positive. Sure, the wait sometimes is killer, but it's not surprising when they have their Endless Shrip promo going on. Everyone loves a good deal right? Our waitress, Karolina, was an absolute sweetheart. She immediately switched to Polish when she heard my parents speaking to each other and that put my dad at ease with his ordering. Don't let the fact that it's a chain restaurant turn you off. Where else can you get good, quality seafood for an awesome price?

I do not think I have been to a Red Lobster since High School. We were heading out for dinner for a friend's birthday and this was chosen last minute as th German place we were thinking of just closed too early! I think they may be doing remodeling as a lot of the parking lot had stuff in it. But apparently it is okay to park by the grocery store.... wel we didn't get towed. Saturday night and incredibly crowded. It was maybe a 45 minute wait? We sat and watched the lobsters in the tank which is more entertaining than you'd imagine! I want to point out that I would go back just for the biscuits! That may sound like I'm exagerating, but they are really good biscuits! I had a sangria and it was really good! I want to point out that I had not been to a Red Lobster in Such a long time, I could not remember if I liked it? Apparently I do! Oh, I want to point out the staff was really nice! I mean everyone. It was very busy but they seeme to treat each table as if they were the most important thing. This is important to me. I don't mean they have to be overly friendly, but don't forget me during a rush. I had teh all you possibly eat shrimp. Everything was good. My friends had soem lobster combination which looked really yummy. I might have had it, but as I say, I could not recall if I liked Red Lobster. Now this is the clincher, it was busy, but we were well treated, and they gave a free dessert!

Terrible. Food is fine. The wait time is seriously ridiculous. The receptionists have no clue what they are doing. The female manager or hostess, was there for no reason. She didn't help or do anything. When I told her that we'd been waiting for over an hour after it was supposed to be a thirty minute wait, then 45 minute wait, she said "oh." I was ticked. Terrible service. They should really learn to be more efficient and polite. I wouldn't return to this location again.

I've been here several times before. I remember I specifically liked the stuffed flounder. Today I went for the Rock lobster tail which came with choice of potato and salad. Scrumptious, but pricey. The best of the meal was chatting with the bartender, Linda. I even remember her from 3 years ago. One of the stars is for her. I'll be back. Very ample parking.

Is always a pleasure to come here, either by myself or with family. Food is great and service is very good. Lobsters and shrimps, my favorites!

This location is pathetic. I have been a long time patron of this chain, once every month or two for a few years, however there is something really messed up with the service and food here. I usually just write tips for restaurants, but this requires a review. We had three different servers, never got a refill on drinks despite requests, the kitchen got the wrong ingredients for the menu items we ordered (no special requests), waited forever for service, after over half an hour after we finished eating we still had dishes on the table and no check...and still now as i am writing this. Oh yeah, and the food they did bring was no where near the quality of the same dish i ordered at schaumburg. Still no check... Update, manager came by and got us our check and gave a discount for the terrible service and was very nice and apologetic.

CUE THE SCREECHING CAR! Ugh I Just can't. It's like walking into and Olive Garden and calling it fine dining. I went with my friend who HAD TO GET THEIR ROLLS....because I live right near one..... Um. No I will not eat a lobster in your small tank. No I will not eat your crab legs, No I will not have a roll. Chain restaurants are cool....but red lobster....I can't do it.

I went here with my bf and we got some great sea food. When all out of a sudden, there was a cockroach crawling to his plate. I thought I was going to die. We both jumped up and moved tables. Manger came and said she was sorry. She didnt offer to do anything of the bill untill the cockaroach came back and my bf pointed it out the an employee wiping down our previous table. The employee takes spray and kills the roach. Manager came to confirm there was a roach and offered 20% of our order. I love their seafood but, never going back to this location. additionally, what bothers me is employees are brooming the floor as you eat. Will go to other locations but not this one, very dirty.

My husband and I got a virus last time we ate here. Either it was the lobster dip or linguine. My toilet was jacked up for a couple of days. This place use to be my favorite but I can't even think about red lobster anymore because I get nausea.

Late Saturday night... somewhat packed restaurant... 2 people in need of dinner. At first, they wanted to seat us at a weird table that was tucked into an odd space right at the front where everyone walks through. I asked for a booth and I swear it's as though I have caused some great inconvenience, because the booth were taken to (while passing quite a few empty ones) was right by a loud employee area. One of the napkins on the table was dirty- had some kind of sauce on it. Our waitress was nice, but food took a while and she along with a couple of other employees started moving tables around and vacuuming the area by our booth while we ate. 1 star for the key lime pie. The rest was awful.

Like Teapot, I am amazed when people tell me they have never been to Red Lobster. So, when my husband said he had never gone, I decided he needed to experience all that is the Red Lobster. Granted, I am fully aware that this seafood is probably the same grade as what you are smelling when you walk into a Food Harbor or an old Dominick's, but there is something about the ability to get 10 pounds of it for like $25 that is alluring. People seem to love those biscuits, but I have never been a fan (too salty and greasy for me). My husband ate like 4 of them, so he must like them! If you go, stick with the tried and true combos - don't waste your time on the heavy-work crab legs that will often be dry and lacking in real meat. Daily specials are ok, but if you really want "fresh" fish or wild salmon, this is not your place. I stick with the fried platters - nothing like fried shrimp, fried clamstrips, etc. to get your cholesterol levels rising. I have to say that our service was great and the manager also gave us a coupon on the way out, so that gets an extra star.

(5)Diana B.

I've always loved Red Lobster, the service is great but most importantly I lovvvvvvve the cheddar bay biscuits. Our waitress was very very sweet. Way to go Salsuda....

No one is.
(4)Beata W.

I miss the old Red Lobster. It used to be somewhat upscale.

Went for lunch . Daughter had seafood plater. I had scampi. Staff was delightful. Big change of pace while here . Food was good. Little disappointed in my portion size but daughters was more than she could eat.

(4)Iris R.
my UPDATE: It's changed since my last review.
(4)Lisa M.

(1)Carrie S.
(2)Nicole N.
(4)Donna F.
Every time I come to a Red Lobster I can't figure out why I did. Lobster not that great, small shrimp drowned in butter, crab legs that you really have to work at, but those rolls can't be beat. Yes, it's cheaper than other seafood places, but still not worth it.
(2)Arlene G.
had 2 come here cuz my gf & i both had gift cards & they had this 4course promotional goin on. u get a soup, salad, entree & dessert for $15! thats a great deal right!? we both got somethin from the promotion as well as calamari & mozarela sticks 4appetizers. the appetizers were ok but our food was much better. u cant really beat all that food 4the price. what made the meal even better was our waitress melissa. she was so friendly and attentive 2whatever we needed. we even asked 4the manager 2let him know how awesome she was! will definitely some back here!
(4)Bobi L.
Service was alright. Food was good, I remember the lobster tails being a little bigger a few years back for the price they have on the menu.
(3)Krisha d.
It's good for a once in a while thing. It's okay, but I'm just not crazy about chain restaurants. I like it but not a place I crave to go to. Good service good food! And I love your biscuits and lobster and that shrimp scampi stuff!
(3)Mills S.

Yummy!!!!

Red lobster's one of my favorite seafood restaurant. I love their cheddar garlic biscuits.. and every food in their menu. I had the lobster pasta last time...uhh... it was delicious!

(3)Paula P.

I don't see a reason why so many people are disappointed with this place. Been here multiple times and never been dissatisfied. Great food.
(5)Martin P.
The biscuits are fantastic as usual Had the admiral platter again: a plus The Server Karolina H was fantastic we asked for extra butter and it did not come out in ten minutes she came right back out with it! This server was efficient, on point and great.
(4)Joe H.
(5)Fadi S.

(4)Max T.
(4)Arne G.
(5)Tamara K.
(4)Anya C.
(5)John M.
(4)Jessica C.
(1)Daniel G.
(4)John V.
Is always a pleasure to come here, either by myself or with family. Food is great and service is very good. Lobsters and shrimps, my favorites!
(5)Mike P.
(1)Christina M.

Inside Wall Street: Is Red Lobster Cooked? money.msn.com/top-stocks… See, Red Lobster? Poor service = your company going down the drain Good riddance!
(1)Tiffany A.
(1)Jasmine G.
My husband and I got a virus last time we ate here. Either it was the lobster dip or linguine. My toilet was jacked up for a couple of days. This place use to be my favorite but I can't even think about red lobster anymore because I get nausea.
(2)Dorotka K.
(1)Yvonne O.
