The place is a total s*** bar, a bunch of old farts hanging out talking about their city pensions, no women whatsoever. The draft beer (Stella) that I ordered was flat and had a strange taste to it, I didn't even finish it. The bar girl never asked how it was just charged me six dollars for a bad beer. Don't waste your time it's nasty.

This is a great local bar. We come in to watch the games. Friendly atmosphere. Food at lunch was wonderful.. You have to try the Polish Cuisine's they make daily specials. I would have to say that this is a friendly neighborhood bar to stop in for a drink anytime.

After meeting my long time friend here the night before to DYL, I popped in here yesterday for some medicine. Hair of the dog with a side of homemade rice and meat soup, bread, butter. That chased the chill from my bones for the moment, it was a frigid morning. Special today was polish beef stew served with four killer potato pancakes. I left one on the plate they were so big. Stew was rich and satisfying, the potato pancakes were to die for. Made from scratch, thin oblong golden brown, crispy edged cakes were just out of this world good. The marriage of the cake with the reddish brown gravy was magical. Set me back around 8 bucks including the beer.

I live in San Francisco now, but there's nothing quite like this place on the west coast. The clientelle is a balance of tool and die shop guys with crushed souls, chatty local drunks, and overweight Bears fans. It's got a decent shitty jukebox, decent shitty Chicago-style bar food, an impressive lack of high-end liquor, and the notable absence of a single photon of natural light. Tip: one of the bartenders is Polish, so if you speak the language, it's a good way to talk about the company you're with, without them catching on. All in all, a class act! P.S., why does every Chicagoan know the Polish word for "butt"?

This place has been and always will be the "Joke of the town" bar. Horrible sign. Bunch of old men that are fat & retired or close to it kind of "hangout". It litterally looks like a bar from the 80's stuck in the past forever. Its rundown and decrepit. STAY AWAY.

Neighborhood bar, total dive, good prices, ehhh.... The name is probably the best part about this place... I recommend speaking Polish to fit in. I don't.

Was thinking of going here, called to verify their hours and the woman yelled at me for calling and told me to go find the hours online. She then hung up on me. Wont be spending my money here! Thanks for making the decision easy Lazer Knights!
