If there was an option for no star that's what I would give this place ..... Way too pricey for some freaking dots !!! Each topping is .50 cents extra ... What the hell ? Small size which is 4 oz is $5 ... That's expensive ... Manager is rude and cheap .... I asked for a bigger cup for my daughter so she won't spill her icecream.. They told me NO .. If I want a bigger cup I would have to pay for it ... Is this even legal ??? Try the yogurt shop in the same mall... Way better service for a reasonable price .... I won't be coming back here .....

I agree that dipping dots is one of the freakiest things ever invented but I can't get anough of them. They have different flavors. Cherry berry ice is awesome. My brother loves the cotton candy and one of my sisters is nuts about the tropical tie dye. My dad likes the horchata flavor and my mom loves liberty ice. They have tame flavors too like chocolate and vanilla. I had a bite of my brothers watermelon ice once and found it gross but he loved it. There is also a Dipping Dots in Springfield that is great as well. It is also nice because it is in a mall.

Extremely pleased with my experience! I love Dippin' Dots, so I wanted to get a whole cooler full for a Super Bowl party I was throwing. I contacted the store, and they put me in touch with the manager, who was more than willing to help me out. He explained the process, how to keep them cool with dry ice, and sold me enough to fill my cooler at a reasonable price. Very helpful, the banana split dots were delicious! It was the best part of my Super Bowl party, and everyone loved them.

This is one of the freakiest things ever invented. The ice cream reminds me of packing popcorn...but broken off into little tiny dots. The website says that the ice cream is cryogenically frozen. That alone freaks me out. The texture is strange, there is a slight crunch to it, and at first you feel like you're eating stale ice cream, and then all of the sudden the flavor explodes in your mouth. I'm not quite sure if I like it or not. It tastes a little bit weird...kinda like Hello Kitty gum. The reason that I give them 3 stars is because my son loves it, it's less messy than conventional ice cream, although it costs twice as much. It seems less fattening and that you are getting a lot of ice cream, I like it and I don't like it..the whole thing is just weird. And here's a weird bit of trivia, I just found out that it's kosher! Seriously! P.S. I think that I used the word weird too many times....but there's no other way to describe it. 9/27/07 update. Went back to Dipping Dots the other day to buy my son a treat. I asked the lady behind the counter if I could have it served in a bigger cup so that he would not spill it over the edge while riding in his stroller. I had to explain 4 times what I wanted. A small served in a medium cup. Finally, she tells me that no, if I want the medium cup, I would have to pay for the medium cup. It's $4.50 for 5 ounces!!! So basically I have to give them an extra dollar for the plastic container...even though it's just a plastic container with less ice cream! I then asked if I could just have it in a paper cup...the ones that they use to serve drinks in. Again, I am told no. I'd have t o pay for a drink to use that cup. Why?? Because they inventory the cups!!!! Ridiculous. To get what I need I have to pay for it. So I am not giving them any more business due to this ridiculous policy.
