I have tried this place twice because I like Hardee's Burgers. I was in a drive through behind one person a 1/2 hour wait. I backed out of the drive thru to get out. i went in the second time 1 couple in front of me said they had been waiting for their food for 15 minutes. I waited behind them another 10 and left. If I could actually get the "Fast Food" here I would review it. i have never had a problem with the prospect heights one.

I'm excited there's a new option for fast food beyond the two brands we are overwhelmed by already in Chicagoland. McDonald's and Burger King. Per a satirical article which is trending currently, fast food is a meal which people in their 30's should be going without. I'm grossly aware of fast food and gmo's but for the sake of fun, lets just continue with a review about good fast food okay. I like that they are different, I hate that there isn't a closer option of Hardee's in the city. Blame our / your local alderman or whatever, but whenever I'm in these parts I'll find a way to convince myself that fast food is okay for this moment. With that said, I like that they bake buns on site and will often share that they are using Angus beef. I also like that they take the time to prepare the sandwich although there are a gross number of toppings sometimes and when I grab at the burger the whole damn thing falls apart. It's like eating a puzzle sometimes piece by piece. Again, a nicely built fast food burger option which differs from the likes of what serves Chicagoland daily. Important to note that it's still a fairly new location. Many of their employees are new to work at Hardee's and when ordering from either the window or inside, the food takes time to prepare. Dining inside can give wait times of up to fifteen minutes however food is served to your table. Since they are new much of their abilities and offerings are still being learned by their staff. It's a shiny new place with modern decor, flat panel televisions playing popular youth loved music videos and comfortable seating. Although all these options available, they lack in ability to clean up the dining area in a timely manner or simple stuff like wiping down tables. When speaking to management one can tell whose got the most experience and whom are still learning the process. Another like of mine is in regards to their website & offerings. Much information is shared about their ingredients. While dining the other day I read a sign which listed that their biscuits are made from scratch. I immediately thought it was b.s. Fast food often uses some kind of mix with all kinds of preservatives in it. A .PDF is found online listing all of their ingredients in clear English. For those seeking a bread alternative; Hardee's offers a low carbohydrate option. All favorites are available in a lettuce wrap. I think I might try that, I've had the 1/2 lb and 1/3 lb sandwich and both often leave me comatose. (I like asking for twice the amount of vegetable toppings, so that I can feel better about my bad choices)

Brand new just opened up a while back very clean. Fresh fries and the El diablo burger that I ordered was warm and tastey. The thick burgers are actually thick and yummy and I welcome a change to Mc Ds and Burger king.

came here for a late night burger craving that couldn't be satisfied with mcdonalds. Pulled to the drive thru and asked for a minute to decide. while looking over the menu I could hear the employees rap music blasting out of the order speaker. When I was finally ready to order he hurried me up by saying "is that it" after every word I said and cutting me off. burger was dry and I won't be back simply because of the non caring employees. I understand its a fast food place but a little politeness goes a long way especially with all of the other options out there.

The only reason that this place has a higher rating is because of the random 3-5 stars people are giving. Which it doesn't deserve at all. Every single time I go, the wait gets longer and longer. I don't even dare try the drive thru. My last trip: over twenty minutes for two small burgers and onion rings. Then my food wasn't even hot! The thing about waiting for 20+ mins is you get to people watch. And the staff needs reworking. They argue with each other. They are slow as all get out; every time they were asked to do something, by customers or the manager, they would roll their eyes, huff, and trudge over to do it: After waiting forever for 'fast food' asking to put an eat-in order in a bag because you can no longer eat-in should not be met with an attitude. It's like nobody wanted to do ANYTHING. Everyone was highly frustrated. At least tell people you're backed up, short staffed or something. Yes, you will have people walk away but they might try again another day opposed to a person who waits after paying without so much as a warning. Especially in the drive thru. I love Hardee's. The food brings back childhood memories and I was so happy to share it with my younger sister who didn't have it before we left the South. But sadly, this location will not be as frequented by us as I had hoped.

This is a brand new (to Niles & the surrounding suburbs) Hardee's. I haven't been to one in ages.....went at lunch time with hubby. Place was empty. Atmosphere was nil, and the temperature, cold. Not inviting whatsoever with very stark furniture. Burgers were A-okay, but were served with way too much ketchup, which over-powered the burger taste. The fries were good. We asked for unsalted and were pleased. Prices were higher than McDonalds but not by much. I don't see this as lasting for very long.

The food is not bad but the wait is unbearable. Come here on a Sunday morning & you will see what I mean. The drive thru takes longer than me sitting down at an actual restaurant & waiting for the chef to cook me my food. The first FEW times, I thought it was just because they're busy. But there are times where I'm the only one there & it'd still take forever. Super disappointed.

Considering I am no longer in NC, this place has THE BEST CHICKEN BISCUIT around. It's made fresh to order so the wait time is around 5 or 6 minutes. Small price to pay for a breakfast biscuit that is perfect - AND I didn't even have to ask for hot sauce and honey! I've only gone through the drive-through here on my way to work, but every employee that has taken my order has been friendly and easy going- which is essential for 6:30am! Way to go Hardee's!!

1. Move slow 2. Act like it's a chore to serve the customer. 3. Get the order wrong and say it's the customer's fault. 4 Act like it's a chore to fix the customer's mistake. 4. Rinse and repeat. Forget it.

Burgers here are pretty good! Not oily, dry or too charred up. The only issue is that the wait times can be pretty long. I don't know if that's the case because of the way the food is made or what.
