I'm shocked. I never give chain restaurants above 3-starts, but this particular IHOP impressed me. The service was fantastic...almost too good. The food was solid and the price was right. Nothing to complain about. Plus, it's open all the time. I don't know if the overall quality of this place changes at night (I went at noon on a Saturday) but I recommend this place if you're traveling on 30 looking for some quick, good food that's a step above fast-food.

$10 for regular BLT, (not their double decker) no sides. Sandwich only. I what a rip off!! Turns out the charged me the full amount of a double decker BLT with sides.

We were a little leery about finally trying the New Lenox location of IHOP because - well, let's face it, it's an IHOP, and we've had so-so or downright bad service in other IHOP locations. But we were pleasantly surprised at the New Lenox site. Fast, super-friendly service from our waiter; good, hot food (we both had the 2 X 2 X 2 - two eggs, two strips of bacon or sausage; and two pancakes); and best of all, reasonable prices (unlike the ungodly $16 we were charged for the same dish at the Niagara Falls IHOP - but of course that's a tourist trap). We were there on a Thursday morning when it wasn't very busy, so of course the real test for this place will be how they handle the week-end breakfast rush. But so far so good! This IHOP may well turn out to be another viable local breakfast option.

So going in, you know it's an ihop. It isn't quality most people are after, its usually convenience because they are open late. Let's be honest. So my expectations were as such. They did however have awesome cheese sticks when they opened. They were huge and delicious, but since then they have switched to generic, probably out of a box, puny ones and at the same price. So silly to me. We went here quite a lot in the beginning but it got progressively worse. Things that were good became tolerable and bland. We haven't been there in a long time because of the decline, not saying we won't go back at some point, but for now we are avoiding it. The lady at the register was always friendly and it gets 3 stars mostly because of her and the fact that I never expected perfection anyway.

Service and food were both amazing! I would go back every day if I could! The food came out fast and was delicious!

I have not been to a IHOP for more years than I will admit to, but out late with some friends decided to give a try and this place did not disappoint. Walked in about 11:0o PM and the place was not all that crowded except for some late night partiers. The restuarant is very clean, void of any odd smells, and fairly quiet. Our waitress was very quick to show up at the table and take the drink orders. Opted for the Mega Meat Cheeseburger with fries. The sandwich is quite large and I almost had to unhinge my jaw to bite into it. The burger was very tasty even without adding any condiments. The only negative thing that it is a bit greasy and towards the end of the sandwich the grease was in the last few bites of the bun. All through the meal our waitress stopped by to make sure we were doing okay. Everyone at our table seemed pleased with the meal. I will make sure to stop by if in the area again.

Pathetic! Went there last night about 10 pm. I new this was not going to be good when I saw nothing but young adults running the place and their friends in the back doing who knows what. Actually had to send back the pancakes at a pancake house because they were cold dry and crumbled This is what you get when you have kids running your businesses. No excuse and we will never go back.

Went to the Ihop in Joliet and almost wrote this place off. Stopped here tonight with my wife and son and have to say I'm impressed. Service was great, waitress was very kind. Food came out quickly and actually had flavor. Lastly the price was more than good. Overall loved this visit, will definitely stop in again

Another vacation day and another meal out. We decided today to give the new IHOP in New Lenox a try. Well we all agreed that it doesn't quite seem to be as good as the one in Orland Park. My son ordered the Waffle for $6.79 and had to send it back since it was burnt. My wife ordered the Sweet Crepes Combo for $6.99 that came with Raspberry and scrambled eggs. She thought the crepe at another local diner spot was far and away better. The crepe at IHOP was just average. I ordered the Double BLT Sandwich for $7.99 and how could you go wrong with a BLT. It was good, nothing special, just a plain old BLT. We had our normal drinks and even a side of bacon added in all for roughly $34 dollars. So this new IHOP had friendly service and decent food but nothing special.

New IHOP that recently opened in New Lenox. We had Breakfast Sampler that came with eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. We also have tried the Chicken Florentine crepes. Food was hot and tasted good. We went on a Saturday around 11 am and were seated immediately. Restaurant was almost completely full. Server, Justin, was nice and polite. Bathrooms were clean and tables were being cleaned immediately as guests left. Big open seating area with plenty of space between tables and walkways were easy to navigate. My only disappointment was that there was no parking available in their lot. 7 to 8 parking spots had signs reserving them for employee parking. We had to park in the lot in front of GoodWill and walk over 200 feet on snowy and icy road to get into the IHOP parking lot. White Castle is next door to IHOP and has put up a sign stopping you from legally entering their lot from IHOP's lot. This forces you to try and turn around in about a 20 foot wide area between parked vehicles. I went into White Castles lot anyway despite the sign so that I could get parked elsewhere. Parking is a huge issue and is my biggest complaint about this location. Once you get inside your experience should be good. Wait staff and employees are still relatively new and inexperienced but they have a great attitude. The best part is that they are open 24 hours which gives us a choice other than McDonalds drive thru for late night dining in.

The food is a little slow to come out, but I went to this Ihop twice and the food was delightful both times. They may be understaffed a little or just a little slow moving there, but the restaurant was clean. The area looks nice now that they finished the six year construction down 30. I found the experience very nice overall.
