Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We got an order to go and I wasn't the designated pick up person, so my experience is strictly with the food. We ordered an Italian Beef, a bbq pork sandwich (a take on the McRib) and fries. Uncomplicated order, but it took some time. That is fine if that means fresher, hotter food. I was surprised at the quantity of meat on the beef sammie. I wish there was more "gravy", but I'm sure that was my mistake in not mentioning I wanted the sandwich wet. Although the hot giardiniera was super tasty, the chunks were just too big and kept falling out of the roll. I like the giardinieras that are more like a rough chop tapenade, They tend to integrate better with the meat and au jus and thus stay on the sandwich. Overall, I would give this place another go when I'm in town for a visit. It's a nice diversion from Portillo's which served me (for the first time) a very bad Italian Beef.

I just moved here and have heard good things about this place, so I decided to try it tonight. I went through the drive through and got a beef sandwich and garlic fries. Beef was good. A little spicy for my taste but they gave you alot. The garlic fries however are to die for! I'm pretty sure I'd go back for the fries alone. Overall, the beef is not my favorite as I've been spoiled by Johnny's Beef for many years but I'd go back.

When this place first opened some years ago it was just ok. Today it is much improved food is a little slow but worth the wait. Fries are fresh and more steak fries than fast food. The gyro was thick, cooked to order and done to my liking. Restaurant is clean, staff is friendly and this is a nice New Lenox option.

The big beef was H-U-G-E!!! I was amazed at its size. Everything that I've had there so far is really good.

Pretty darn good little place for sandwiches. My husband goes here when he is working so he brought me on down to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty Beef sandwich, made just like I love them - dry with sweet peppers, mozzarella cheese and dipping sauce. Yum! It was quiet, clean but kind of deserted. I hope the neighborhood supports such a nice place nearby with super fresh food. I may not have been a fan of The Sopranos, but the name is catchy and now I am a Badda Bing's fan!

Service wasn't good. Had to wait 15 minutes for a hot dog and ice cream cone. Several other groups came in, ordered much more food, and left with their orders before we even got ours. Not really the most organized place and definitely not somewhere to go if you want a quick meal. Try someplace else.

I read in the community paper that this place is under new management, so I'll be giving them another chance soon.

I've been here twice now since the new management took over. Mainly because no one is perfect so I always go twice. Needless to say I won't be going a third time unless I'm starving to death.

First time being here for me personally. My mom has been here before. Family came to try it out now that they're under new management. Dad had a hamburger and fry and said it was really good. Mom and I had Mediterranean salad and it was wonderful! Clean, modern, no complaints at all. Owner is friendly and sociable. Prices are really good too. We will be making a visit here again!

Several subsequent visits have been better. I wasn't in the same situation, with 5 cars in line though. The Badda Bing Italian beef sandwich is a good one that I'd recommend.

I like this place for an occasional lunch. The hot dogs are very good, both the jumbo and regular size. I would say that this restaurant compares favorably with Portillos. I know that is sacrilege but you should try it and see. Their Maxwell Street Polish is just as good as Portillos. Everything is made fresh when you get here and served piping hot. And the prices are very reasonable. I like Portillos also but this is cheaper, closer to my house and way less crowded. If you like Portillos, give it a try.

Green beef was given to me tonight on my beef sandwich. Also, I specifically ordered our beefs dry. Got all the way home to see green on my beef and soaking wet beef sandwiches. I've honestly never complained or posted on a business before until now. I'm upset the way I was treated when I brought the food back. First, the "New owner" said green meat is normal. Then he blamed the cashier in front of me by the way, and the cook. All I wanted was an I'm sorry for the inconvenience just an apology.

Good Burgers, Great Chicago style hot dogs, my son LOVES their pulled pork. Perfect well cooked fries, and Sobu water. Polite clerks, nice owner. Very clean and inviting. They have a drive through and designated carry out parking. A true gem.It is fast food, but it's good fast food!!! Real good. Check out Grapple games next door.

The food is expensive. It's good for the area because there isn't anything better. The beef sandwich isn't all that, I don't even bother getting it anymore. I guess I'm just spoiled with places like Portillo's. I usually come here for the Kim's Club panini, which tastes good and is a large sandwich. It will set you back about $8 with fries. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here, you'll probably pass up something better on the way.

Garlic fries! Yummy!

First time here. I come to the Chicagoland area 2xs a year and always have to have an Italian beef sandwich. Great beef. It is seasoned very well. Loved the garlic fries. My mom, a Chicagoan , had the maxwell street polish. She thought it was very good. Friendly and priced right. If in the area and want a beef go here. You won't be disappointed.

Not a bad Italian beef place. Great fries and a nice, clean eating area. The prices aren't bad, but if you want any extras on your beef, it can get a little expensive. I haven't tried the burgers here so I can't review them, but chances are that if you're stopping at a place called "Badda Bing's", you're there for the Italian food anyway. A drive up window makes your experience even easier if you're in a bit of a hurry. The area is a little barren of good restaurants, so a stop to Badda Bing's may be your best choice if you're famished at the time.

Nice clean eating area and excellent food. We enjoyed make your own variations of the beef, and the double cheeseburgers. Everything was great! And the garlic fries are phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other delicious sounding menu items. Highly recommend!

Their beef is one of the best. I rate it in my top 3. The sandwich has a good kick in flavor unlike portillos who's beef is so bland. The only thing negative I have to say about Bada Bing's is that they have recently changed their french fries, and are not as good as they once were.
(5)Chuck S.
Service is extremely slow and the food is not nearly as good as Pops or Portillos. They hand write your order and it doesn't seem they have enough help in the kitchen. I can be the only one in the drive thru but it will still take them forever to make my order. I can literally order an Italian Beef Samich and Fries and expect to wait 10 minutes sometimes. It's simple...drop the fries into to fryer and plop beef into bread with cheese peppers and dip...Done!
(2)Greg D.
Our family has eaten here a couple of times. They have good kids meals and the food is very good. Its exactly what you would expect from a beef joint. Hotdogs are hot and the toppings are cold. I like that. Beef is quite good. The place is very clean.

There is one reason I keep going back to Badda Bing's - the fried pickles! They're spears in a cornbread-style batter and served with ranch dressing. At $2.99, they're a good deal too. I usually counter the fried-ness with a side salad - even the small salad is massive and packed with veggies. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce, but it's okay when I'm not paying much at all for a giant salad.

Just another Italian beef place, the food is OK nothing special, the people who wait on you are polite and friendly, the prices are fair, 4.49 for a beef sandwich, 2.99 for a hamburger, 1.99 for a hot dog. a regular drink is 1.49. it's not a bad place. not much more to say.
