Great location! I don't come to this Starbucks on a regular basis but I've always had a pretty good experience. They are usually very busy but they do a good job at getting everyone their drinks as soon as possible. My last visit- I was able to get coffee and find a table fairly quickly during my last visit. I will continue to stop in for coffee when I'm in the area.

Ok so this has become my go to by default. For many reasons. 1. 15 minute parking in Downtown Naperville. 2. 1 minute and 14 stop signs from my place. 3. BLONDE ALL DAY! Not just the ladies either. So I have acquired a taste for the blonde roast from Starbucks (with a shot of espresso of course aka Venti Blonde Red Eye. Lol) and the majority of locations stop brewing blonde at around 10 or 11 a.m. and though I am a big fan of a pour over unfortunately most baristas are really not.... I call this the Millennial syndrome. "Wait, I have to do more than push a button? I don't get it. Are you SURE you don't want a dark roast? ABSOLUTELY sure?!!" Anyway not this location. They even offer to make it in the super upper east side clover machine. Which is wayyyyy more effort. Fancy. Now this place does get busy but always keeps the line moving, no time for barista social hour here. But they are all very nice just working really hard. A simple hello how are you today will do. It took about 3 months longer than usual and 50,000 red eye's to get my "regular" status card. Now they have my coffee waiting at the register even though I'm last in line. Mad props! Tight space, busy, but efficient and welcoming. Great location.

I have a lot of good memories tied to this Starbucks, but I'm getting extra irritated with paying $5 for a drink that probably cost 75¢ to make, and then getting a cup that's only 80% full. Then you want to give me attitude when politely hand it back and ask for more hot milk? If that wasn't bad enough, the guy ahead of me got a "tall" (i.e. small) iced tea drink, and that was missing about an inch off the top. Since the cup is wider at the top, he was also missing about 20% of what he paid for. Not cool, Starbucks!!

This was my go-to Starbucks back in high school. There isn't much to say about this Starbucks, as they're mostly all the same cookie-cutter layouts, but this one has always had quick staff, and were always eager to socialize and crack jokes. Regarding the location itself, it's a corner lot that's a little bit on the smaller side. Not too bad during the day, but on Friday/Saturday nights, it can get a little crowded in there. There's limited seating due to the location, but there are tables and chairs outside which are great for people watching while you enjoy your coffee or tea. Starbucks is Starbucks at the end of the day, not much to say about that, but this location is a great little place to stop in while walking the Riverwalk, or after having dinner at any of the great restaurants downtown.

I love this particular Starbucks because the people watching is fantastic. The uptight old ladies who JUST WANT COFFEE!!! to the Naperville soccer moms who use sixteen adjectives to mean "as few calories as possible" when ordering, to a smattering of young people. I only swing into this one if I'm at Two Bostons on my lunch, buying treats for the pooches, but they've never gotten my drink wrong. One weird thing - in order to maximize space they've set up a very orderly line that snakes from side to side to get you to the counter. It's like waiting to enter a haunted house. You know, chock full of caffeine. Nevermind.

My favorite Starbucks in Naperville (actually just my favorite overall)!! While this location does have its issues; it can be busy, there can be lines out the door, I wish they'd institute a "no ginormous/double wide stroller" policy. Most of these issues do not have to do with the Starbucks itself, but the other patrons of this location, something I don't feel is a detail that should affect a yelp review. This Starbucks seems less like a big corporation and more like your small town coffee shop, in the front of the store there's always this rotating group of people who always gather in the same two spots almost every morning. The staff here is AWESOME!! Many of the morning baristas at this location have been here forever (love Patricia & Janèe!) and, if you start frequenting this location, they will remember your drink orders!! They are always chatty and conversational, seeming more like friends than Starbucks baristas! Once when they were out of my favorite spinach feta wrap, they gave me a different breakfast item for free, and sometimes they'll give me my extra espresso shots in my mochas gratis as well. Things like this keep me coming back here for my daily caffeine fix. While yes, sometimes they are slammed, it's for a reason, everyone knows how awesome the staff at this location is!!

Love how it is situated in the middle of downtown Naperville and in a walking distance from the library! But today my grande latte was not full and I was surprised they usually are on top of their game and it wasn't busy. Not happy with that.

Meh. When my boyfriend and I walked in, a funky smell immediately hit us. He said that it smelled like an old shoe. I thought so, too. However, we still got in line because I needed water. The real reason I'm giving this place one star is because one of the baristas was a complete witch with a B. The boyfriend and I had just visited Popcorn Palace, which was next door, and we got a large bag of popcorn. The girl at the palace place put so much popcorn in the bag that she couldn't close it, so I was walking around with a huge open bag of popcorn filled to the very top. Since the boyfriend won't tolerate food scraps lying around his truck, we had to somehow close the bag before going home. Our solution? Me eating the extra popcorn on top. So the barista behind the counter -- an older woman with blond hair -- took a look at me and disdainfully said, "Oh, my god. How can she eat all that popcorn?!" Um, wow. How judgmental and unprofessional. You don't put down your paying customers like that, much less in front of them -- it's just common sense. Oh, and the boyfriend's strawberry smoothie tasted off and just awful. Smelly shoes, crappy smoothies, and pompous baristas? No thanks.

They make a good Chai Tea Latte with soy but next time maybe hold the attitude. This is the smaller of the two downtown Naperville Starbucks locations and in the heart of the "shopping district" (The Gap's across the way). The place gets packed pretty easily and you shouldn't be surprised if you find yourself waiting in a line 8-10 people deep on a weekend afternoon. Now, I found myself here on a Friday afternoon where it wasn't too, too busy. I walked in to a small line with 3 people ahead of me while I patiently waited. While I was waiting in line I could tell the register guy was pretty over working his shift for the day as I could hear his hmms & haws as each customer ordered and moved along. There was no smile, there was no friendly gesture, in fact, he wasn't even asking what people wanted, just staring at them with a look like he was using all his might not to roll his eyes. Well, Le sigh to you, Sir. I got my chai tea latte and moved on... next time I'll walk the 3 blocks to the friendly Starbucks... okay, no I won't but that's neither here nor there.

Went there to see my hubby on skype every day ...

As far as starbucks goes, this is The starbucks to go to. It is the epitome of the starbucks module and is one of the most successful in the nation. It sits in the heart of downtown Naperville. Cozy, clean, better than average starbucks' baristas, and friendly. Plus you get to walk around the wonderland of downtown Naperville with coffee in hand. The only Starbucks I like better is the 24 hour one on North and Wells in Chicago... because it's 24 hours and I can get my non-fat upside down caramel macchiato stirred with 4 splenda and extra caramel on top at any time of night... I do have to say I'm rather loving my hot venti non fat, extra shot, peppermint mocha tonight though. Much needed since it's freezing out.

This store is seated in the middle of the Naperville shops on the west side of Washington, which means that cozy is the feeling of the area and also of the store. There isn't a lot of seating but the turnover in the store is frequently high because people are out shopping for the most part. I've noticed a few students and professionals squatting for a while at this store but it doesn't seem to be overrun by them. The textures in the store are nice because there are a lot of fabrics and the space is broken up functionally but again, it makes it cozy. If you're looking for an enjoyable Starbucks experience in downtown Naperville, this is the one I'd suggest. The staff are usually pretty nice and down to earth and their food offerings are very adequate despite the small size. Because of where it's situated, you can easily step out for a couple and hit a store if you need a break from studying. If you own a Mac, well, the lovely Apple store is right down the street. But if you need to enjoy a meal somewhere and want a drink to relax there's plenty within a block's radius.

the only business open in downtown naperville on christmas day (before 3pm) were walking around to see if there were any restaurants open for lunch, but after about 30 minutes of walking around we realized everything was closed... it was cold and slippery on the sidewalk and before returning to the car we stopped by for something warm to drink. the staff was friendly (5 stars for them) despite the fact that they had to work on christmas day and the shop was pretty full... which was probably evil starbucks' strategy to be open when no one else is to make that extra buck...

This location is hit or miss in the service department. I had quite the sassy barista on my last visit. But my coffee is always great and this isn't my regular location, so it's all good. The line always moves quickly, which is kinda surprising considering the crowds that constantly descend upon the DT Naperville area. So maybe the sass is a "keep it moving, no chit chat here" type of thing. Sass on Sassy Barista Lady. Keep that line movin' and groovin'.

Not my favorite Starbucks in the world... it's got the advantages of being downtown, with the disadvantages of being always crowded. There's usually nowhere to sit and the lines are generally long.

This is a small Starbucks tucked away in downtown Naperville. It's VERY clean and COZY. The line was out the door when I was there so it gets a lot of foot traffic, but the service is good. They get through the line fairly fast. The drinks are on par with other Starbucks so no complaints here! The only downside to this place it's BUSY and hard to find a table to sit at. Fortunately, there's the rest of downtown Naperville to walk through and find somewhere to sit at.

I love Starbucks. I don't care what anyone says. YES, I LOVE A BIG, SCARY CORPORATION. OH MY GAAAHHHD. I've always gotten good service here. This has been my favorite Starbucks for years because it's in the heart of downtown Naperville and the big, comfy chairs near the front window are perfect for people-watching! The only problem is...everyone has this idea. On a Saturday afternoon, this place can be packed to the brim with shoppers and families in need of a pick-me-up. The off-time's not so bad, though - so steal a chair, grab a hot skinny mocha and a good book and just chill for a few hours.

Well it's a starbucks so I won't comment on the food/drinks. The place seems a little cramped for places to sit and be but I definitely love the location of it. It makes it an easy pop in to grab something to go but I wouldn't choose to sit in there and spend time there.

Best Starbucks location ever. I work downtown Naperville and go in almsot everyday and the baristas remember me, the drinks I order and that I drink everything with a straw. I went on vacation for a week and when I came back they all asked where I had been. I usually don't like these big box stores- I always went to Java and Juice before they closed- but this Starbucks now has my business.

Starbucks is starbucks. normally when u walk into a Starbucks you are greeted with happiness. The staff at this location never seem very upbeat and happy. im not giving 4 stars because when i walk into a starbucks i expect happiness and these associates always seem like they want to leave. and that is not the starbucks way. I love their coffee and thats why they are getting 3 stars. but i prefer happiness in starbucks if i wanted misrible people serving me my coffee ill go to dunkin dounuts.

Without a doubt my favorite Starbucks. I am only in here once a week to every 2nd week and the staff remembers me and my drink orders. Always friendly service and they always get my drinks correct.
(5)Tanvi A.

(3)Amira E.
My favorite coffee server is "PAT". She is the ONLY person who warm's up my cup before she pours my coffe into it. Make's a big differance. This starbucks is so busy you won't believe it til you go inside. Five or ten people at a time in line , and the door keeps opening . The reception to Wi-Fi not too good.

Much needed since it's freezing out.

the only business open in downtown naperville on christmas day (before 3pm) were walking around to see if there were any restaurants open for lunch, but after about 30 minutes of walking around we realized everything was closed... it was cold and slippery on the sidewalk and before returning to the car we stopped by for something warm to drink. the staff was friendly (5 stars for them) despite the fact that they had to work on christmas day and the shop was pretty full... which was probably evil starbucks' strategy to be open when no one else is to make that extra buck...

(3)Alyssa J P.
Not my favorite Starbucks in the world... it's got the advantages of being downtown, with the disadvantages of being always crowded. There's usually nowhere to sit and the lines are generally long.
(2)Peter K.
(4)Kathryn G.
Awesome environment.
(5)Chris L.
Like all other Starbucks, service with a smile. I think this is the latest-open Starbucks in Naperville.
(5)Michelle K.
(4)Louise P.
Well it's a starbucks so I won't comment on the food/drinks. The place seems a little cramped for places to sit and be but I definitely love the location of it. It makes it an easy pop in to grab something to go but I wouldn't choose to sit in there and spend time there.
(3)Julie F.
My favorite starbucks in Naperville!
(5)Juliana E.
(5)Crystal F.
(3)Justin T.
The staff at this Starbucks is top notch! All of the ladies and gentlemen are very friendly and very prompt about getting the drinks made. The only thing is its in such a busy location that it tends to get very busy on most days. Overall this is one GREAT Starbucks!

(4)Amy R.
Nevermind.
