Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I have never, ever, thought of Olive Garden when thinking about where I want to go eat, but because this place is popular, I often end up here with a group of usually-sane people. Because of that, I've discovered a couple of things on the menu that I like, and that I might actually crave if enough time passed: the mussels appetizer and the mushroom ravioli with the sun-dried tomato sauce. The mussels are flavorful and usually cooked well, and I have to say--I think I might actually REALLY like the raviolis. Otherwise, the pastas are bland and over-cooked, the sauces are bland and depthless, the soups are bland and boring, the salads are okay, the bread is decent, and the desserts are forgettable--literally, because I actually can't remember even one. Thankfully, I've found a couple of things that I enjoy, and I should also mention that my experience with the service here, so far, has been very good; a couple of times the service was a little slow, but it usually isn't, and it's always been friendly. I feel, though, that I have to give two stars--and not three--because on the whole, the food there is pretty bad. The service and the two things on the menu that I like are the reasons its not one star.

The service is ABSOLUTE horrid. I'm writing this as I'm sitting at my table. They brought our food before we got our soup. What?!? I told them I don't want my food now, the runner looked utterly confused as I said we hadn't gotten our food yet. Never coming here again.

Since when did only 'soup salad and breadsticks' cost $11? You so crazy Olive Garden. A few new dining options, including a small plates/Tapas section, are a much welcome addition to a typically ho-hum menu. Our server was good, and when he asked if I wanted cheese on my food, I told him to 'cheese it up, my good sir.' My date gave me a look because he was putting cheese on an already-cheesy pasta dish, but I countered her disapproving stare with "yo dawg, I heard you like cheese, so we put cheese on yo cheese". Our sharp waiter picked up on the Xzibit meme, so kudos to him. My Tour of Italy was good as per usual. The salad didn't have any pepperoncini (those midsized green sport peppers), which are my favorite part of the whole damn thing. It was nearing closing time @9:45pm so I didn't press for any dessert, but I know for a fact that their mini dolcini are both adorable and delicious. Another solid outing at The OG.

I ordered tour of Italy and frozen Margarita. I thought they forgot to add any alcohol and that is where that star is knocked off. Server had a pleasing personality and after every order told me its her favorite dish too. Salad wasn't the greatest but I became fan of their garlic breads. Tour if Italy was very heavy on my stomach after all those breads. Consider it as 3 and half star.

Great chain! Just got back from out of town and needed lunch BEFORE grocery shopping. The Olive Garden has a great kids menu, so we stopped here and weren't disappointed. We like how family friendly they are. We were surprised to see they have Gluten Free options, something we keep an eye on for family that comes to visit. The food and service are always good.

Terribly slow service. Ordered carry out and the place wasn't even busy but took forever to get us our food that we preordered an hour prior. It also smelled pretty bad in the restaurant.

Oooohhh the breadsticks and soup. Seems like this olive has a lot of young, unexperienced waiters and waitresses...hey, it's okay, you gotta start somewhere. I know I know it's olive garden it's not a 5 star dining establishment. But really? Last time we went the waitress was so timid and had chewed off nailpolish which really freaked me out. Other then that, the food is good. Meaning, If you are looking for a quick bite to eat before you shop until you drop, this is the kind of place.

If you are going there for lunch than Kelsey is your co to sever! What a prodigious server, where to even start on this service. I swear she has to be a mind reader with her uncanny yet delightful intuition for the things I needed, might have needed, and didn't even know I needed it yet. If I was even thinking about possibly in the future needing a refill, BAM, it was already there. On that note she's quick and stealthly like a ninja which is l kind of cool if you think about it. She's also extremely knowable. She could easily be the Poindexter of olive garden. On top of all that she's genuine about everything she does. It's kind if you mixed mother Teresa with your own mother....long story short, she's simply the best
(5)Tom L.
Well I was disappointed with the traffic around Olive Garden but there prices sure as heck can't be beat! All you can eat salad soup and breadsticks for 7.99. I was full just off this before the entree came which was a large serving. My server breanna was nice and she deserves accolades for how hard she works. Thanks Olive Garden team I will be back soon.
(4)Gayathri S.
Went for a dinner one day with the family, we had a 20 min wait before we settled in, the service was great, they have online order service at each table where in the kids menu can be ordered and it was quick, however, the entree service took a lil bit of time never theless the food was delicious and the service.
(4)M G.
The waitress was very nice, but seriously hire some extra staff!! The service was absolutely terrible. We waited for about 40 minutes for a salad and soup ??? Really ?? Then they forgot my chicken . It's not the servers fault, she was the only one for the bar and dining room . Seriously hire some more staff, you need it !
(2)Heidi V.
They have these new table top computers that they're trying to get you to play games on while you eat. Seriously? Is this a sports bar? Is there no one out there who wants a screen-free dinner experience anymore? Not to mention the things are probably total germ factories since I doubt they wipe them down after every customer. We were made to use the computer to pay, and if you choose to leave a tip, the lowest you can leave is 20%. The waitress didn't earn a 20% tip, but we didn't want to totally stiff her. This used to be my favorite restaurant, but I don't know if we'll go back. If we do, I'm asking them to take the computer off of the table first thing.
(3)Chester R.
it's so average.....why did I let my kids make me come here??? ive had better food on airplanes. the only thing here worth eating is the salad. I have to admit it is pretty good. but.....how does this place keep filling the seats? I have no idea. it had been 10 years for me...and for sure will be at least another 10.

I really used to enjoy going to Olive Garden, but the last 3 visits have all been pretty terrible, and I probably won't be giving them a fourth chance. With each of the last 3 visits, the first thing we've noticed is that the restaurant is really cold and uncomfortable. Wherever we sit, even far from the doors, there seem to be cold breezes which worsen throughout the meal. Heating, or lack there of, aside, our family seems to have a target for slow service, cold food, or incorrect food. We have had three different servers and I don't know if they are overworked or just really slow but we do not feel well taken care of. Although a server can't help a slow kitchen, it is very obvious that something is wrong when the server completely disappears from the floor and is nowhere to be seen for anything, including the bill, drink refills, or orders to be placed. The first of our bad three visits included an over 30 minute wait for our food after we had received our soup/salads. When our food finally arrived, one of us received the wrong thing. The replacement amazingly only took a few minutes to arrive. The second visit netted one of us the wrong thing (spaghetti instead of cavatappi) and the spaghetti was soggy it was so overcooked. Our latest (and last) visit began with cold hot chocolate for two members of the group and ended with stone cold pasta for another member. The appetizers were tasty but pretty cold. With last night's meal, our server was gone for long periods of time and was quick to blame anyone but herself for the cold items. Each time, the kitchen was blamed, but when the food arrives completely cold, this seems more of a service issue than a kitchen issue. Also, the fact that the servers disappear for ages at a time is not a kitchen issue. When servers were aware of our dissatisfaction, we were offered free desserts but the manager never once approached us. I'm not sure if management has changed recently, but the service we receive has definitely declined. Olive Garden was once decent place to eat for the money but is now a complete let down.

A solid 3 stars. Service is hit or miss. Food is typical, mediocre Olive Garden fare. I recently went in after the construction on this building was complete. On a cold winter day, the soup, salad & breadsticks lunch completely hit the spot. There are definitely a ton of little kids which are usually crying or screaming or throwing food. I had remembered that the Italian Sodas (or French if you prefer like me) were delicious on a visit over this past summer. This last visit they handed me an Italian Soda with - maybe - one squirt of cherry syrup. It was basically colored soda water. *Sad Face* The waitress did correct this for me which was very much appreciated. Overall, if there is a wait time, I will skip this place. Totally not worth the long wait times. But every now and then it's a good place to stop.
(3)Kevin S.
Overall Very disappointing experience. My girlfriend and I were planning on going to Carabbas but they were closed for lunch so we came here. For an appetizer we got the risotto bites which were adequate at best, no real flavor at all, very disappointing. For the entree I got the chicken parmesan sandwich which was very chewy, dry and flavorless; chic fi la has a better chicken sandwich. The girlfriend liked her lasagna so I'll give this place an extra star for that.

The Naperville Olive Garden is not worth the time I spend driving to it. (We live 10 minutes away.) Since my daughter's diet is limited, we go there to pick up dinner about once a month. I was told it would be ready at 6:15 pm and I asked how much it would be. The girl who took the order told me it wasn't her regular job so she didn't know (Duh). I arrived promptly at 6:15pm. The one girl at the front station totally ignored me so I continued on to the bar where I have always picked up our meals. The bartender ignored me even when I told him I was there for a pickup. No help or attention at all for 10 MINUTES. Then after 2 more people arrived, they asked the 3rd person if she was there for a pickup, then turned to me and asked me if I was there for a pickup (another DUH). Needless to say, I didn't offer a tip. Didn't their mothers ever tell them it's gauche to ask for money?? I arrived home 10 minutes later and the FOOD WAS COLD, STONE COLD. I will never go back to that restaurant again, I'll spend an extra few minutes and try the one in Oswego. An additional note: for a restaurant with such a large population of older people, their driveway and parking was a mess -- full of ruts. They could spend a few dollars and put salt out and then have it plowed. Please! We do it for our driveways, they could do it for theirs.

I love Olive Garden! I love their soups, salad, and pasta. I'm so sad they got rid of seafood portofino. Now I resort to chicken and shrimp carbonara or braised beef tortellini. They are pretty good.
(5)Ashley S.
One of the only olive gardens that i've been to lately that doesn't suck. Food was hot and fresh, service was good- at least one olive garden branch knows how to keep customers happy!
(4)Andrew K.
Food was obviously under a heat lamp for a while. It was okay. service was a bit slow even though it wasn't busy.
(3)Matthew A.
Service was great fast and friendly. .food was good..wish they had more options for the buy one take one
(4)Angela P.
Unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks is a great thing for $7. But when the servers don't check up on you frequently, it's a bad thing. First, the "unlimited" food is served in a rather limited fashion. My friend and I finished our first bowl of soup quickly and had to wait for our server to ask for a second bowl. The soup, chicken & gnocchi, barely had either of those ingredients in it. It was mostly broth and shredded veggies. The salad was fine, typical Olive Garden salad. The breadsticks were hard (how is that possible before noon?), and we had to ask for more breadsticks. You're running a lunch special, but the bread isn't fresh? That's a red flag to me. Our server was really slow on refilling our drinks. I again had to ASK for a refill when my glass was noticeably empty. He was friendly, but either didn't notice or ignored our need for more items. I stopped going here years ago for pasta. But now I don't think I'll go back for their soup, salad & breadstick special either. It took more than an hour to be served and I started to feel like a cow because I had to keep asking for things.

We went with a big group and this Olive Garden and it was no problem for them. The food was all good and fresh. The prices are a little high, but that is how Olive Garden is and if you are hungry you can make it worth your while. The salad and breadsticks were awesome, so definitely take advantage of those.
(4)Alexis W.
My waiter name was Aaron and he was extremely helpful and funny. It was lunchtime and busy but he made sure he kept our glasses filled and our desires met. He also laughed at my mother's corny jokes. Cant wait to return to this Olive garden and im definitely asking for him.

Last couple visits here we have gotten the bottom of the barrel server. Today, a blonde woman named Chris was unbelievably rude. Food came out wrong missing meat, it was very busy and instead of ordering the whole dish she left the pasta and sauce and supposedly reordered the Italian sausage. So by the time the sausage comes out the pasta is cold. Nice. Refilled our child's drink with the wrong thing twice and when we finally pointed it out, she came back and slammed the right drink down on the table loud enough that other people turned and looked. How embarrassing! Start to finish, very curt responses. Felt like we were an inconvenience and being rushed to get the hell out. We came tonite having not eaten breakfast or lunch, after shopping for several hours, and the guys would have had a couple bowls of soup before eating the entree. I overheard the servers around us checking on their tables saying things like "Hey guys, how is everything?" Our server was never half that cordial. Bothered attitude with every comment, and walked up to our table and only said things like "Did you want another [pasta] refill, because the kitchen is pretty backed up." Or "You want more soup?" Very pointed, like I said, felt like there was something she didn't like about us or she was having a bad day, either way felt uncomfortable and they were hesitant to ask for anything else given the stereotype of an angry server messing with your food. My DH, the most patient man in the world, actually complained to the general manager. Boy was he mad! This is where the three stars come in. The GM was very very apologetic and appeared truly sincere and would not allow me to pay for our food. That said, I left a little more irritated because we did finish our meal, so I wanted to pay for the food we ate. Definitely wasn't looking for a handout. But, his sincerity was genuine. I love Olive Garden food but when we left my DH said we won't be back to any, here or other locations. I believe in second chances so I guess if I'm on a shopping trip with someone else maybe I would go back if I could be guaranteed someone else serving. But overall this experience was REALLY disappointing.

I have had good and less than wonderful experiences at this location. Today, however, there was no wait time for a table (just for two people). Service was prompt and courteous by a bright, cheerful and attentive server named Kristina. It appears that the management has cleaned up their act since a less than positive experience two summers ago. This seems to be a very high traffic location ostensibly due its location on Route 59 near the myriad shopping venues. I ordered a dish that did not include pasta and it was fine. The endless salad was welcome. The place has been remodeled in the past year and one can still smell the paint. It does look better. It does not look like they were able to do much to the men's bathroom. It has a goofy layout, but works. To do it well, they should tear the place down and put a new facility, like the one in Bolingbrook. For me, Olive Garden is certainly not a first choice for dinner, but if you're looking for lunch above a fast food level experience, on the go, then it's fine. It can work for office get togethers, such as when someone is moving on, etc. However, I doubt that anyone with a thoughtful heart seriously plans Nonna Livia's 90th birthday celebration there. So, give it a go. They even have some gluten-free selections.

I know that Italian Restaurants are expensive, but I do enjoy Olive Gardens menu a bit more than others. The ambiance is romantic, but not to the point where is not "kid friendly" like some fancy restaurants. You can't go wrong with the delicious and salad and bread sticks but my weakness as well as others is filling up to much on that. Ask for lunch portion sizes (although you can't get away with everything on the menu with that). Everything is delicious and cooked well on the menu! I don't think they do reservations (which is not cool) so you will expect a long wait on a weekend night. The service is good, I feel like the servers know the menu well. They are very busy, so you probably won't always get the warmth you want. Going around at 5 for an early dinner is your best bet! It packs up fast after that. Also, Italian Garden beats Carrabbas and that other Italian Restaurant (next to Meijers) on Route 59.
(4)Sean R.
The management at this place is not good. I feel bad for the staff here there is not enough to cover all the customers. That being said the food was not great my pasta was bad I have had better in a frozen microwave dinner. I would not recommend eating here.
(2)Michelle F.
This is a GREAT location!!! The food was great and the service was fantastic!! My husband and I went in for lunch around noon. We were seated right away, and that was a big plus. Our waitress (shoutout to Dana!!) came right away and discussed the drink specials. She took our drink orders, and then asked us if we were on any kind of time constraint. This was a big plus in my book because my husband DID need to get back to the office since he was only on his lunch break. I though that was really thoughtful. We ordered appetizer when you choose three from the list: We got the ravioli, calamari, and fried zucchini. They came out fast, piping hot and delicious. I ordered the Venetian Chicken w/ the pasta e fagioli soup, and my husband got the lasagna rollata w/ minestrone. Dana was really good about our breadstick and soup refills (woohoo!) and was really on top of the timing of when things came out and asking us if we were ready for certain courses or if we were ready for our soup--it was a nice change from other experiences at other restaurants I've had where they just put in orders and bring them out whenever THEY feel like it. We also ordered the apple crostada which was really good! I will be dining at this location again--the food was delicious, and our waitress was phenomenal :)
(5)Lisette J.
The two stars was for my waiter that checked in on me but I will have to say not the best I've had @ olive garden, I had the chicken Masala! My water had some stuff flotting around in it so I didn't drink nor ask for another glass!
(2)Emily M.
Great place. Food is good and service is great. Went today and the manager walked around and handed out coupons. The two of us went for 25 with a different coupon and tip. Not bad for a lot of food!!
(5)Brian D.
The food was forgettable (we didn't even take home leftovers) but the service was nice. We won't make the mistake of going to Olive Garden again. You can get much better quality Italian food for the same price elsewhere.
(2)Ben B.
Parking is horrible. I showed up Saturday late afternoon very crowded. I was told the wait will be 20 min. for a table for 2. We got seated in 15. Very happy with that. Waitress was really good, very professional. She had to deal with a very difficult family. The rest of the staff really helped her out to maintain great service!!! The only reason I'm not putting 5 stars is the parking, the service and quality of food is worth the wait for every time I have been there!!!!
(4)Alana T.
Olive garden is a great place to eat. I like that they change up their menu for specials. Is this authentic Italian Food? Hell, I wouldn't know. Never been to Italy. But, the things that they do, they do well and I'm a fan. It's pretty inexpensive and the breadsticks rock and roll. So, I'll continue going when I want a cheap "Italian food fix".
(4)K N.
I've been to this Olive Garden on several occasions over the last 10 years. I've only had 1 good experience with this particular location. That would be my most recent visit. Maybe they're under new management now (God I hope so!) because before my most recent visit, the staff was rude, not helpful at all, never checked up on us, took almost 40 minutes to bring our food to us (This includes soups and salads as well as appetizers), no refills on drinks, etc. It's just been so awful. The only reason I'd go there ever is because my friends live in Aurora, and they always want to go to the Olive Garden. I like the one in Downers Grove the best. I must say though, the last time I was at this location, the service was just fine and everything was brought out in a timely manner and I didn't feel like they were ignoring us. So maybe things are starting to change over there.
(2)Jennifer S.
I went to this Olive Garden last Saturday evening with two girlfriends. It always surprises me at how long the wait for a table at a chain like this can be. Now, they were nice enough to walk around with a hot, fresh cheese pizza to nibble on while we waited for our table. I just moved them up to Three Stars. The waitress seemed like she had somewhere else to be. Working in a restaurant requires you to be a service-oriented person. At least pretend like you care just a little about our business...please? Moving on...the breadsticks were fresh. I have the pasta fasuil (sp) and it was tasty. One of my girlfriends had the salad which was crispy and dressed properly with the soup as well. My other girlfriend has spaghetti which she said was fine. Our glasses were often empty, but the food was fine. The toasted ravioli is one of my favorites! But, I won't head back here on purpose, but if we are in the area and someone else has a hankering for OG, then I will give them a try again.
(3)Chole L.
I went there last Sat with my mom, food was not bad. I ordered the Shrimp pasta dish and my mom ordered the seafood pasta dish. The dishes were okay. But service was pretty slow.
(3)Tommy P.
"It just keeps getting better and better." from will and grace not really! Average at best "fake" Italian food, but who can complain for this price. The best deal in town is the soup and salad combo. I recommend the Pasta e fegoli. Yummers!
(3)Christy F.
We went there last night and wanted to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary...it started off ok with having a waitress that was in training and she was ok....then once a large party with really loud obnoxious kids show up, we can get either of their attention. Luckily a nice waitress saw this and helped us box up our leftovers and get our bill. I usually am ok with this location, now we will probably stick with the Bolingbrook or Orland Park location, much better customer service.
(2)Rick G.
It's pretty much what you'd expect. Not bad food, but not very good either. Recipes for the masses .. nothing that really stands out. My daughter really loves it ... but she is 11 ... there is one chicken, pasta and broccoli entree that she begs for, so from the child's viewpoint it as a good restaurant. I go there because she thinks it's a treat. The service is usually very good and the prices are right.
(2)Rick C.
Ordered a chicken fettucini Alfredo with Toscana soup..and got a whopping 2..yes..2!!! Bread sticks..check your food before your leave..economy and all aside..2 bread sticks!? Camon'
(1)Ben B.
I went here for a late-afternoon lunch on a Saturday, and the place was still pretty full, like pretty much any Olive Garden. I knew more or less what to expect, but I still came because I had a gift card. The food and setup is pretty standard - soup or salad comes with every entree. The problem is that our waiter didn't bring a spoon for the soup or a bowl for the salad apart from the serving bowl. He also didn't offer cheese to go with it. By the time my wife had flagged the waiter down (he was hard to find) and gotten a spoon for the soup, the entrees were already there - and suspiciously fast. I'm not sure how they could have reheated the food so quickly. The food was kind of floury/salty, and the waiter was "creepy." With that said, if I end up with another gift card, I will go back. It can be worth the price - if it's subsidized.
(2)Kelly K.
Food was decent, however service sucked. So slow on refills, breadsticks, everything. They need to get it together!
(3)Ellen M.
What you expect. Lots of tables, usually a wait in the evening (up to an hour on the weekends), and "from our freezer to your table" food. It's a good comprimise when you want something a little nicer and have the kids along. There's a dish for everyone and several heart-healthy choices. Winelist is just ok. I must commend the service - the waitstaff is prepared with a smile, will place substitution orders, and always have good timing. Not a bad choice for carry-out.
(3)Joy S.
Yesterday was our first trip to this O.G. since I was craving pasta, and my bf had only been to an Olive Garden once in his life, over 10yrs ago. The hostess and waitress were both fantastic. My legs were having a particularly painful day, and the hostess offered to seat us closer to the door, and asked if we'd like a booth so I could elevate my legs. The waitress made suggestions and anticipated our needs. We split an appetizer of the Smoked Mozzarella Fonduta with little toasted Tuscan bread slices. REALLY good. I could've had a 2nd order. Salty, creamy, yum. The big bowl of salad that you split when you order salad with your meal? Less than half-full. Not that we could even finish it. But I was still surprised. Maybe they're cutting costs? Would've liked to see the prices reflect that, if so. I had the new Four Cheese Sacchetti with Chicken. The 2 chicken breasts were average, not bad, but nothing special. The pasta was kinda dry, wish it'd had more sauce on it. Tasty, otherwise. My boyfriend had the Chicken Scampi and said he really liked it. No room for dessert, though I was happy to see they now have the option of the mini-desserts now. Will have to go back and try some of the desserts!
(3)Terrence B.
I feel as I have underestimated olive garden for far too many years. Its a place I have relegated in my memory as the dinner place for junior high dances. I don't know what drew me back but I have to say the service has been great (including a "how is your meal" visit from the manager on each visit), prices aren't bad, and the food is decent. I am quite guilty of abusing the all-you-can eat soup/salad/bread sticks policy and won't lie, its what will keep me coming back.
(4)Jeanie P.
Oh goodness. Olive Garden is like part of the fabric of Midwest Suburbia. Anyway, I hadn't been here since um.. elementary school, but my mom got a giftcard from work, so here we were. As I braced myself for another suburban chain restaurant with packaged crayons.. and yes, plastic grapes hanging from the ceiling (I'm not sure who decided this would make it look classier??), I pretty much got what I expected. Stuffed mushrooms swimming in butter and standard pasta dishes I could have made at home. The tortelloni with braised beef and portobello with a basil marsala sauce was not bad. And the "side salad" that comes with your meal is just HUGE. Also, I actually really like the marinara dip that comes with the calamari. Hm I guess the breadsticks are always good here (fond childhood memory).

One of the best Italian foods in Naperville. The Food was great and the prices were OK comparatively.I love the starters than the Entrees. The Smoothies are great too.

We do not go to Olive Garden very often. In fact the last time we have been here was about 7 years ago, mainly because there isn't one in our area. The only thing I found odd was the fact that the dining room was practically empty when we arrived and they told us the wait was about 15 minutes, maybe less- we were the only family in the wait area. We took a seat and then a minute later they called my name like the wait area was crowded. They could have been going through a shift change, but it was just one of those moments that leave you confused without an explanation. It didn't bother us, we just found it a little funny. Our server was fantastic (I think her name was Lexi?!) and patient (we had our children with us) and answered our questions about menu items knowledgeably. The children's menu was good. My son liked building his own meal and the stickers and crayons kept my toddler busy. The bread sticks and drinks were continuously refilled and we didn't have to ask for anything. The food was delicious and overall the price wasn't as high as we were expecting for the four of us. Our dining experience was very pleasant. If we are in the area again, we'd definitely come back.

Havent been at Olive Garden for some time. I had my house salad with some yammy bteadsticks. For the main dinner, I had Grilled Chicken Tascano. Good combo of flavors. Of course, no dessert. I did nt even finish my main course. :) breadsticks were filing. Service was good enough. Speedy as well. Friendly atmosphere. Make sure to call ahead for your reservation if you do nt want to wait for a bit, especially on the weekends. Enjoy.

food was mediocre, service was too. Sad because we've loved Olive Garden for a long time. Being from California, we are familiar with the chain and have always had excellent customer service. This was was not excellent. I think the waitress was trying her best to be good, but just couldn't get it right. Definitely prefer other Italian restaurants in the area at this point.

Went here on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago. I make reservation a few hours before I showed up and had a table ready for us when we showed up. They food was very good. The soup and salad were delicious and all of our entrees came out piping hot. They're new chicken meatballs were out of this world. The staff was really nice and friendly but looked as if they were a bit understaffed. I really don't care if I have to wait a few minutes extra just as long as the food comes out hot. I will be back for sure.

Had I checked my teeth at the door, the pasta would've been suitable. Catty as that sounds, it's true. I'm not an al dente-stickler, but the texture was so mushy it tasted like it had been cooked, frozen, reheated, and then frozen and nuked again. While the never-ending pasta bowl is a great idea, make a meal of the awesome breadsticks and soup instead. For pasta, I'd much rather spend the extra dollar and frequent a different restaurant instead. (Seriously, that's the price difference. A dollar.) The staff at this location, however, were supremely sweet. The hostess noticed a nick on my leg from shaving and went out of her way to ask if I was all right or if I wanted a band-aid. And our waitress was very sweet and bubbly, she was very understanding with my father too. The compassion and caring from those two women really brightened the day. I hope they'll soon be at a restaurant that's worthy of them, because they were phenomenal. With all the options around, try something better than Gummer's Cafe.

One of my favorite Olive Garden restaurants. The food is very good and the portions are huge. I always have plenty to take home. The staff is always friendly and I always have a great experience there. My only issue is the parking is horrible. I've almost gotten into a couple of fender benders trying to go through their one way road around the restaurant. I usually end up parking in the back of the restaurant.

I already love olive garden as it is but between justin the manager making sure everything was good, our server was even better, one of the best iv had in a long time, this particular olive garden was amazing :) I feel like anyone who is giving this place anything less than 4 stars is just being ridiculous and are thinking too much about it. every olive garden is the same it just all depends on when it was built for the exterior/interior. The food just like any place you order from there can be a mess up from time to time we are all human including the cooks definitely not a reason to give this place a bad rating. Needless to say I love this olive garden.

Love this location. I live 3 minutes from the Oswego location, however would prefer to drive out to this one. Hosts and servers are always very nice and attentive. Even if you go on a busy weekend, service is fast and the staff checks in on their tables. The food is awesome, especially considering it's a chain restaurant ;-)
