Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This restaurant has a wide variety of things on their menu! I got a mango and coconut smoothie which was really good. I also ordered the Pho and my brother ordered a chicken dish. His came out in good time, but I waited for my Pho for at least 20 minutes after his dish came out. The pho was pretty good and they had a variety of options even for just pho on the menu. My brother ordered an Aloe drink and waited 20 minutes for it, even though it was in the refrigerator (didn't have to be made or anything, just brought to the table). Overall, my only real serious complaint is that the wait took too long for what we had ordered.

I like this place. I eat clean organic foods and have never had a problem digesting it and it it quite flavorful. The qualiity and service here are completely proportional to the price. If you want Donald Trump service, then go to a major metropolitan area and pay $100 a plate. To all of the haters of this restaurant and all of the one star people, all I have to say is that you obviously don't own your own business or have a clue what it takes to be perfect day in and day out. I'm not in the food business myself but I think they do a pretty darn good job. Enjoy this place and be nice to these people. They are trying to help you and serve you good food.

Not bad a for a place out in Naperville. This place has a lot going on its menu. Lets just a Chinese restaurant that serves decent Pho. Just don't order the Bun Bo Hue here but the Pho was good.
(3)Jeffery L.
Always a great time. The owner is extremely hospitable and the bubble tea they provide is very well done. Cheerful staff and just a great atmosphere to dine in.

We ordered a lunch special lo mein for my daughter since it was less than $6.95. We didn't know that they had given us a dinner dish until the check came to us and was charged $10.25. When my husband informed the man of the discrepancy, he said he couldn't change it. Our original waitress was on a delivery, so she couldn't vouch for her mistake which was unfair for us. We just paid without tip since we would have tipped the difference of the mistake. Time to look for another pho establishment with better customer service.
(1)Vic M.
Nice place for a quite family dinner or delivery to the house. Fresh good quality with good taste.
(5)Kerry C.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Waited for 45 minutes after pick up time and food still was not ready. The woman yelled at me that she was busy and refused to take calls. No way to run a business. My order was placed online so it should have been ready to be picked up, but no.

So nice to have a vietnamese restaurant in Naperville. The spring rolls and 125 Pho were both yummy! The pho was a little more oily than i'm used to, but still good. Prices were reasonable and portions are good. Overall good and I would visit again.

Disappointed to say the least. 6pm Ordered delivery and on the bright side it was quick. However in my honest opinion not authentic or delicious. I ordered potstickers which look like the potstickers from Trader Joe's that I could've fried myself. I ordered Pad Thai and the noodles were not the type of noodles that are used for Pad Thai. The flavor was not very good either. Wanted to try their shrimp egg foo young... Big mistake. I open the box and it was a brown black something. I thought to myself well maybe it's a different sauce that'll taste good??? No... It truly was what I thought it was at first glance... It was BURNT and tasted BURNT ... terrible. WHO delivers charrd food and expects The customer to eat charrd? 6;56 pm Called and asked for a refund at least for the shrimp egg foo yong... They said they would come and bring me my cash. We will see if they keep their word & send my money back with the driver. 7:40 pm received a call stating they can't get their driver over here tonight to give me my refund but they will send the driver tomorrow. Asked that they leave the money by the door... Let's see if they keep their word.

I love this place! I eat here often. My favorite is the Thai Tom Yum Noodle bowl. I also love their Pad Thai Noodles with chicken or shrimp.
(5)Chad V.
Good food! Had the chicken vermicelli bowl and the pork belly rolls. Very tasty with good flavors!
(3)Rich P.
Really good noodle bowls! Some of their more traditional "Chinese" menu offerings are tasty and fresh as well. I initially tried Noodles Pho U for their Vietnamese noodle bowls but noticed they also offer a bunch of traditional Chinese entrees on their menu as well such as Generals Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and chow meins. All of their meats are lean and of high quality, no mystery meat here lol. Everything I have tried is very good however I believe they are catering to the masses because some of their dishes that say "hot" are not all that spicy so I now order them extra spicy and they are perfect. The place is not fancy but not a dive either, located in a strip mall it's dining room has about a dozen or so 4 tops. I have dined in several times and also gotten carry out.

Had a great experience today with Noodles Pho U. I was sitting at work and Thuy accidentally came in with an order for the business next door to us (this building is very confusing, happens all the time with customers). I told her were the business was and joked with her that i would be happy to eat that order. :) She laughed and asked me if i liked chicken and told me she would come back with something for me. I told her that wasn't necessary, but 30 minutes later Thuy came back with an AMAZING dish. I believe it was the basil chicken. GREAT customer service, wasn't expecting to eat such a great dish but glad she accidentally came in!

They say that the customer is always right; today I'm happy that I was actually wrong. Our lunch here started off on a sour note but ended with one of the better lunch experiences of recent. We were actually leaving out because we were unsatisfied with how our meal was prepared when Twe insisted, almost demanded, that we come back and tell her exactly what we did and didn't like about our dishes and have them again FREE OF CHARGE! Ms. Twe got back there and got busy. She personally prepared our dishes to our standards and everything was awesome. It's says a lot when an owner is adamant on customers not leaving upset because they value your patronage. We will be back.
(4)Janet R.
This is my go-to stop for Phô soup and I'm never disappointed! Service is ok but depends heavily on who the server is. They even have a new boba drink menu. I was excited during my last stop to see they added som tom papaya salad!!! Everything I've had at this Noodle Pho U has been tasty! Another worthy mention is the fried spring rolls and mango salad! 100% authentic!
(5)Adam X.
I get the bahn mi and pot stickers. I work right across the street so it's a great lunch stop when I'm starving. Very fast and friendly service. Food is always amazing. I love "Noodles Pho U."
(5)Jessica D.
Just ordered dinner using Grub Hub and the delivery arrived piping hot within the time frame. We ordered the Pho Xe Lua (some meat I pulled out of the broth because it was too gristle-y) and a pineapple/chicken/shrimp fried rice. The pho tasted amazing and came in two containers one for the broth and one for the meat. There was thinly sliced fresh onion, variety of meat (the meatballs were my favorites), delicate broth, lovely scallion and cilantro, and delicious noodles. He said the fried rice was amazing. Portions are pretty big and prices are reasonable. I would definitely order again from here.
(4)Gray S.
This place is great, the environment is what you would expect from a noodle house but a step up. The owners/managers are really friendly, and the product was certainly on point! With Vietnamese children and a Vietnamese exwife I have certainly had my share of PHO. The kids loved it, I loved it, I'll definitely be back! I can see this being an easy weekly staple. Food came fast, kids loved it, in and out.
(4)Analie F.
Came here today, place is great and food is good but the service is not too good. Ordered 3 entrées. For some reason only 2 of my orders came. I didn't bother to complain but as the waiter handed me the bill he had told me that he credited my bill. This place has a lot of potential but service has to improve.
(3)Irfan O.
I called this place 6 times and no answer. I finally decided to just go there to place my order. When I got there the lady said they're not taking orders since they have a private party going on. They could have easily told me that over the phone. Very unprofessional.
(1)Dino B.
Great noodle bowls. Service makes you feel special. If you drink its byb. Have not had a disappointing meal yet. Prices are very reasonable. Only down side tables are not cleaned up fast enough.
(4)Anthony L.
The Pho is really bland and not tasty at all. It's a shame - there's nothing else that is similar nearby.
(2)Connie L.
There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu. With that being said, the Vietnamese dishes are definitely better options than the other items on their menu. Whenever I order Vietnamese food from here, I have not had any complaints. However, during my last visit, I ordered a seafood with vegetable dish--it was way overcooked and the fish fillet was not only soggy, but it was disintegrating.
(3)Alana B.
Love this place :) Some of my favorite dishes are the vermicelli, chap chae, Singapore rice noodle and pad Thai. The manager of the restaurant is extremely sweet and always makes it a point to greet me by my name and strike up a conversation. Service is friendly and accommodating, food is always top notch. If you're looking for a cozy Thai place to eat, noodles pho u is the place to go :)
(5)Candida S.
Love the Korean Stone Bowl! The beef was tender and flavorful, very large portion, steaming hot & enough for 2 meals easily. Tasty kimchee. Don't miss the fresh fruit blend smoothies. Takes a while to prepare, if you are getting them to go order before your meal is done. Mine was Cocanut/ Mango with purple tapioca bubbles. So good you will still want these thick frosty treats during the winter! Management is polite and friendly, although sometimes a bit slow so minus half a star. (Even though Yelp doesn't allow half stars lol)
(4)Boomer B.
Excellent variety in the menu. Fresh vegetables. Decent portion sizes. Overcooked chicken. The big negative here here is staff training and an apparently unsophisticated management. They really didn't seem to know what they were doing. That might help explain why there was only one table occupied in a Friday night at 6:30 p.m.. We had to wait far too long for the staff to realize we were there and to seat us. And we waited too long when it was time for them to bring the check. I had to stand up to prompt them to do it. We were seated next to the manager who seemed to be working on her accounting while glaring at staff and customers. Her presence right in the dining room made us uncomfortable. They are using a new wireless credit card tablet-based system which won't print a receipt right there. You have to either have it emailed or texted - and I didn't want to give either piece of information to them as we're on enough email and phone lists as it is. Anyway, they were having trouble with a takeout order where their system double billed the customer when he tried to add a tip to it. We may stop by if we're in the area but there was nothing compelling about this place to have us make a special trip.
(3)Brandon D.
Very good! We had the beef pho noodle and the chicken and both were so tasty and filling. Love the freshness of all the vegetables.
(5)Jody S.
It was Friday evening around 7:30 pm. We decided to give this restaurant a try. What a mistake! We order one Udon Noodle Soup and two Korean Seafood Stone Bowl Rice. After waited 60 minutes we finally got our food. Udon Noodle Soup had very very small quantity noodles. The Korean Stone Bowl Rice was totally a disaster. 1. First, on the menu clearly said topped with Kimchee. NO, no Kimchee at all. We actually ask waiter for some Kimchee, he then brought us a tiny bowl with three leaves of Kimchee in there. 2. What "Hot Bean Paste"? Where is hot bean paste. The sea food and veggie stir fry on the top of the rice had no taste at all. It was not just NOT SPICY. It was totally NO TASTE AT ALL. What a Korean dish? Of course we will never go back there again.

I have to knock this place down a few stars....the service has been continuously getting worse and the timing of bringing people's food out is approaching ridonk. Bad ridonk. I've been there multiple times where there's been about 15 minutes between getting the first and last dish. So people (ahem...me) can sit there and watch others eat for about 15 minutes before their bowl of pho comes out. Whatever system they have there is disorganized and I think even the servers are confused by it. I went there last night and had to ask for new limes and basil for the pho since I think Bunnicula got to both before me...they were dried out to all hell. And let's quickly discuss the time we went there and every single dish (forks, cups, plates) smelled like mildew. Gross.

I wanted to try something new and decided to give Noodles Pho U a try. I did a search on Vietnamese food in Naperville and found this place. I looked at previous reviews and pictures to determine what I would order and saw the Pork Vermicelli dish. It seemed like exactly what I was looking for at the time. We ordered two entrees, Pork Vermicelli and Pork Chop Rice with Shrimp Tempura for the appetizer. I was skeptical about ordering it to-go but everything was packed nice and neat. The Pork Vermicelli was very good! the pork was marinated perfectly and wasn't tough. The noodles, 'salad' and fried spring roll were good. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I loved the sauces the meal came with and didn't need any extras. The pork chop rice was also good. The only thing was the actual pork chop portion was a little on the small side and we wished we would've ordered an extra one. The shrimp tempura was also good.

This is a hidden gem in Naperville (maybe not so hidden but overlooked). The Pho is quite authentic and there are many varieties of it. The Coconut spicy and Thai spicy chicken are awesome. The soup dishes are great, my favorite is the Coconut Lemongrass soup. Very reasonably priced, high quality eating. Recommended for all fans of Asian cuisine.
(4)Anonymous F.
reasonably priced chinese food, that delivers. Overall taste and quality is just ok.
(3)Weili Z.
Love the boba drink option. I won't have to go far for that. The appetizers were good but I am use to better ones in Southern California. The singapore noodle that my friend had was better than what I ordered. As for me I had the seafood hot bowl which was way too spicy for me, otherwise it was yummy.
(4)Thida H.
Super friendly, very clean. Reasonably priced. Food was great.. Tasted authentic enough for Naperville. I had the spicey beef noodle soup. I would give it a 5 out of 10. The beef was like a sliced beef patty instead of stewed beef as I had thought it would be from my past experience ordering that at other restaurants. There wasn't much else in the soup but the broth was good. Wish the noodles was the normal glass noodles but oh well. It was good but wouldn't order it again. Great drink selection if you love bobas and fruity Asian type smoothies. I would definitely go there again but order something else. They have a great selection of things to try!
(4)Amy P.
So we decided to try Noodles Pho U. Well...it was the most disappointing meal ever. We ordered a few different things: shrimp summer rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls, beef pho, the Pad Thai and sesame chicken. Lets start with the summer rolls, pretty good, heavy on the basil. The Vietnamese springs rolls were good, I'd get those again. The beef pho was bad. Like really bad. Took a couple bites and threw it away. The pad Thai? Omg, whoever said THAT was good is seriously mistaken and never had good Pad Thai. And why is it orange??? We spent close to $50 and threw it all away. I will NEVER go back. So disappointing.
(1)Dhiraj K.
Just ordered using Grub Hub and the delivery arrived on time. I've ordered CURRY THICK RICE NDL it was taste-less and the viggies were uncooked !! Would have been better if there was proper explanation for every dish!!
(1)Sugianto J.
Nice foods. A little bit expensive but still okay. Be prepare to wait for the food if you order a lot as it does take some times especially when you order the pho noodle. Overall, still a great restaurant. Will visit again
(5)K C.
We used to come here all the time but haven't for a while so I thought we'll come here for our next meal. Most of their food is decent, pho was excellent the broth is good, their curry is not too bad either. However, I was super disappointed with their Pad Thai, it was neon orange! didn't taste quite right. either, there was no lime wedge that I'm accustom to. I've had my share of Pad Thai from other restaurants and have never ever seen them ORANGE. I'm not talking about a little brown/orange but bright carrot orange. I completely lost my appetite and couldn't eat any more after few bites. I took home the left over, I might post a picture so you can judge for yourself that I'm not exaggerating lol. My tip: skip the orange Pad Thai and go for the pho.
(3)Mike G.
For those who know and appreciate Vietnamese "pho" noodle soup, this restaurant should be on your list. Nothing fancy, just a nice restaurant to pop in for a quick lunch or a longer, more relaxing dinner. During the cold/flu season, a great place to pop in for a high quality bowl of soup to soothe the soul. Service is quick and friendly, restaurant is bright and clean. Nothing super fancy, just good, solid Vietnamese cuisine.
(4)Kun L.
One of our regular places to eat. Not much option around to get pho other than this place. They used to serve bigger portions but now this dishes seem smaller but price stayed the same.
(4)Howard L.
I liked this place. It was probably the most modern pho place I can recall being in, as well as comfortable, clean and with nice music in the background - unusual environs for pho. I always thought every community should have a Vietnamese pho restaurant, and this is at least one for Naperville. They've been here a year. The restaurant was run by a several friendly white folk the night we were there (just sayin' an observation). Prices are reasonable for the area and no surprises on the pho - it's hearty and as expected.
(4)Vichet L.
Service was horrible wait time was 40 min a plate. Smh ice coffee taste like coconut coffee! My phó soup base was sweet ass hell before I even put in any ingredients! Two of my buddies ordered bán xeo and there plates came out 1 at a time when the rest of us was already done eating.
(1)Brian B.
Was just there, and the waiter never said that brown rice was extra nor the additional egg, felt riptoff, should of disclosed. Will stop going. Would ya believe still no contact from owner.
(1)Jay K.
My second time eating Pho, my first time here. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the woman helping us was very helpful. I am an Asian food aficionado and got a spicy Pho dish that was excellent. Portions are large, pricing is fair and the value is there. Give it a try.
(4)Min C.
Update: 9/8/13 Much improved, as the banh mi has returned to flavor town and the pho is delicious again. I do not remove my previous words as a reminder of tragedy. ====== 6/15/13 It is sad to see what was excellent fall from grace. Cost savings (crappy free spring rolls), different owners (bad bread for the banh mi), etc all influence something I craved into something fall into the back of my mind. Tragic as these things go, to fall into mediocrity.

I've been looking for a decent Chinese food restaurant and ended up here by a friend's suggestion. My first order experience went fine, except that even though I requested that my rice and entree be made spicy, there was no spice at all added. But the food was still tasty so I didn't mind much. I thought maybe they forgot to add it or something. Last night I placed my second take out order and requested spicy again, but alas, the cooks didn't try to add even a sprinkle of pepper. However, my main complaint is that the delivery person scolded me about how far my apartment was away from the restaurant. He said, "If you're going to order from us, give us a heads up 30 minutes or more beforehand, because I have other deliveries to do and you're far away from us." Now, I'm understanding that maybe the restaurant is farther outside their delivery radius than they're used to. But I don't like being told I'm "inconveniencing" your staff by placing an order at your establishment because I live too far. If I'm too far, then tell me you don't deliver to my address. After this experience, I'll be moving on to find another place that serves tasty Chinese, actually knows how to add spice, and doesn't complain when they accept an order outside of their delivery radius.

I don't know how I managed not to review this place the first time we stopped in! I must remedy that! The boy and I were starving and needed to eat like stat! Somehow we had gauged our time all wrong and missed meals. I have to eat or I get migraines and boy, had I turned grumpy fast that day! Lucky we saw this place! We're not exactly original when it comes to take out. The boy always get the Sesame Chicken (since I got him hooked on it) and I always get the Pad Thai. We decided to dine in both times we stopped. The boy loved his dish both times! The chicken was tender and tasty! Of course, there's always enough for leftovers! I'm not sure how or why but the first time we stopped in I ended up with something other than Pad Thai... I didn't care due to the need for food... I was glad too! It was a beef dish with wide flat noodles and chucks of veggies. Whatever it was, it was great! The beef was really tender and full of flavor. There were leftovers, of course! This time when we went I did get my Pad Thai and was not disappointed! I ordered it with beef and like the mystery dish from the initial visit the beef was wonderful! The noodles and tofo were full of flavor. And there were leftovers for lunch the following day! I only wish this place was within delivery distance to us! Our normal place has just gone too far downhill.

My first impression I thought is mainly Vietnamese but I was wrong. It's Pan Asian. Small but conveniently located by a strip mall in route 59. Well lighted and very intimate place. Staff are nice and friendly too. Huge, huge selections... Pho combination - excellent tasting, earthy flavor and fresh.... I expect a huge bowl but it's not. Try their Korean rice dishes on a clay pot - great tasting, be careful it's really hot. Wide choices of fruit smoothies. Very attentive server... I think they have 4 branches by Chicago area. They offer delivery, pick-up and catering too. Would absolutely come back
(4)Shannon M.
There's an Asian restaurant in pretty much every strip mall in town, but not so many with Vietnamese menu options, so when a companion was desirous of pho, this looked like the place to go! He got his pho: a big bowl of it, seemingly satisfying his craving. I asked the waiter what he liked best and he said the baked beef teriyaki, which had been one of the items I was eyeing, so I went with that. It was good, the "baked" aspect giving the rice a unique dimension; the thin bits of beef were on the far side of done. The service was attentive...a little too attentive. At least three people (our waiter and two others...managers? Other bored waitresses?) kept coming by making sure we liked everything. Yes! Could we eat, please? My friend finished before me and I was still eating (I was talking more and eating with chopsticks, so the progress was slower). The waiter asked several times to box the rest of my food, while it was obvious that it was not done. The restaurant was not crowded, no one was waiting for a table and it was not near closing; what was the rush?? Overall, this was fine fare but I'm not sure I'd feel the need to rush back. The stressful servers need to chill out; then I'd be more likely to return, pho' sure.
(3)Greg A.
My wife and I frequent noodles pho u every week. It con tinually seems to disappoint . The food is good ,mostly ,but the service is sickening . There is no rhyme or reason as to how you are seated or who your server is. They make you feel so uncomfortable. We will go back to try again because they are close and food is decent. if you can find another vietnamese restaurant within driving distance please try them .I truely hope noodles gets their act together.
(2)Pascal M.
Finally we have a place to get a decent bowl of Pho in this town. It appears our hustling and bustling town is getting tired of redundant chains and uninspiring mom n'pop shops. I've dined in once and ordered out multiple times. I've read the issues with service, but can not validate any problems since my dine-in and take-out experiences have been adequate. This place is simple for me. I don't go for Chinese, so I cant attest to their Chinese items. It's called NOODLES PHO U...so UHHHHH, GET THE PHO! The broth is outstanding and I like to get their meat mixture, but they'll even let you customize what meats you want. I like extra tendon and beef. Throw the bean sprouts, mint, jalapenos, maybe a little siracha and you've got one awesome bowl of Pho. Their Banh Mi sandwiches are great, especially the ham and pate and barbecued pork. It'd be nice if their bread was a little flakier, but I still thoroughly enjoy the sandwiches. Throw some siracha mixed with hoisin on your sandwich and its perfection. Plus it's really inexpensive. I also enjoy their Bi bim bap, titled Korean stone bowl rice. Not the best I've ever had, but solid. Nodles Pho U is a nice change of pace. Get a nice bowl of Pho in the winter or when your sick and it should help you recover. The Banh Mi sandwiches are also a nice change of pace if your tired of the same ol' sandwiches you eat week in and week out.
(5)Melli Y.
Not bad! I know a GOOD Vietnamese restaurant when I taste one. It had good portions! The broth Could be more flavorful but nothing too much to complain about. Also people have been complaining about bad service, I don't think they quite get it that an authentic Asian restaurant that serves pho for $8 will not have a top notch all American service. They will check up once in a awhile but usually you're the one bugging them for things than they are checking up. Which is the way I prefer, I don't like my server constantly checking my table. Overall it was a good pho restaurant around Naperville, surprisingly decent the fact that there is no other pho/Vietnamese restaurant close by unless you drive all the way to Argyle in Chicago. I would come back just for the food (not the drinks like the smoothies and Vietnamese style coffee since when I asked they didn't have condensed milk, which is odd since they're canned).
(4)Amy B.
We love this restaurant! We usually order the same each time we call which is probably once a week. The Thai Spicy Chicken and Pad Thai are both fantastic! Great menu and lunch specials. The only con I can think of is they charge $1.50 to substitute brown rice. It doesn't stop us from ordering though. Restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly. Check it out!
(5)Bibiana A.
Not impressed. Food was ok, service was bad. We sat down and five minutes later the waiter came and said, what would you like. I looked at him and said, we never got menus. After we looked at the menu, we ordered drinks. They completely forgot and I had to ask for a water refill to remind them of our drink. Food was ok, not really that good. I thought the pho soup was a but bland, the cuts of meat were good. I'll probably go somewhere else next time.
(3)Bobby S.
I just can't fathom some of the reviews for this place. The service is prompt & courteous. And the Bi Bim Bop is the best I've had. Period. This is not your typical "lunch special" Asian place. Yes, they have standard lunch special offerings, but the menu also gets way deep. Generous portions, but that doesn't matter if the food is no good. I just wish it was closer
(5)Allyson R.
I'm the kind of person that likes three letter words. Especially words like "pho" and "bun". If you happen to like those words too, then do not miss Noodles Pho U for your Vietnamese cravings. I'll admit, I was a bit apprehensive about the name and the fact that serve up more than just Vietnamese. I hate the term "Pan Asian", it has too many letters. However, this place is changing my mind. I ordered online this past Saturday after realizing I desperately needed bun. Ordering online is a breeze and my order was done earlier than expected. I ordered pork bun (wish I could type the wacky accent on the "u:) and the Vietnamese summer rolls. If you've never had bun, it's basically a giant (and I mean ENORMOUS) salad with tasty marinated pork, vermicelli noodles, and assorted veggies with some spicy vinaigrette. Both items were delicious and exactly what I wanted. The portions were enough for two people to split and I only spent $15. That's my kind of deal. Although I was only inside briefly, the staff was friendly and polite. You can eat-in but be forewarned, it isn't anything fancy. The restaurant was clean and simple. However, I don't go out for Vietnamese food for the ambiance. Definitely try Noodles Pho U. It is one of the better Asian restaurants on the south side of Naperville.

Nice place, reasonably priced, and the portions were good. We were 2 of only 4 people that were there that night so things were a little wierd, but I got over it pretty quickly. As far as the service goes, seeing as there weren't a lot of people there the night I went, I cant speak to the validity of the other reviews, but I was ok with the service we got. The guy who took our order probably could do better than a white T-Shirt and jogging shorts though. Its casual, but it aint THAT casual. Also I gotta know, what is it with Asian restaurants and cans of pop ? Having a fountain has GOT to be cheaper than buying a case from the Jewel!

When they first opened, food was ok. And it got worse over time. Maybe they have a different chef? The time for them to cook is ridiculous. Called them to order one bowl of pho. Told me 25 minutes (!). For one bowl? Ok I was 15 minutes from them so I'd wait in the restaurant for 10 minutes. No I waited for another 20 minutes in there. I thought they were busy but there was only one table with 3 people, on a Friday evening at 6:30. About 3 carry out orders. What's up? The soup tasted like salt water with MSG. Beef was very chewy. Noodle was soggy and soft. It's almost $10 (including the $0.50 carry-out bowl... Wtf?). Not exactly cheap. Not going back.

Great lunch menu. Pho and spring rolls are the best in the area. Authentic Vietnamese.

Been here twice so far, we are huge fans of pho. Prices are decent, and I like that they have expanded to include items other than vietnamese. I've tried their Bi Bim Bap, which was pretty good..and they do take out! Win!

Great place for pho! Very friendly service. No complaints here.

Outstanding food. I have been to Noodles Pho U 5 times over the last two months and looking forward to going again in the very near future. Excellent service from the staff and always very friendly. Each time we have visited, the owner has stopped by our table each time to make sure everything was ok. As for the food, I have to agree with a previous poster, it is very addictive! Extensive selection of food to choose from on the menu. From appetizers to main course, everything has been very fresh and delicious. I have really enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue) but after a recent visit the Korean Stone Bowl Rice is my go to dish at Noodles Pho U.

Great find among the strip malls of Route 59. Decor was very bright and clean. Service was good, although there was a delay in getting my main course, the waitress apologized profusely and the food arrived piping hot, right from the wok, so I wasn't upset at all. We started with the crispy Vietnamese spring rolls - a real bargain for 4 crispy delicious rolls at $5.99. I like that they brought an array of condiments to the table, including sweet and sour sauce, hoisin, siracha and soy. Husband had the beef pho, which came in a huge bowl full of beef steak (and some other gristly parts that he removed) lots of rice noodles and a tasty beef broth. Bean sprouts, lime and jalapeños were served on the side. It was a great dish for a gloomy Sunday afternoon! I had the pan fried wide rice noodles with chicken,, medium spicy. It came with a wide array of stir fried veg, including mushrooms, peppers, snow peas, water chestnuts, bok cloy and broccoli. Excellent, very ample serving. We will definitely return to try some of other other items on the extensive menu (they also have a lunch special). Cost for 2 with sodas was only $20.

I love Vietnamese food. The ingredients are fresh and healthier than standard Chinese. I usually go into the city on Argyle St for authentic Vietnamese but for all the suburbanites who aren't interested in trekking to the city; this is a good enough alternative until you find yourself back within the city limits. It also cost about $1.50 more than the city restaurants but who wants to pay for the extra gas money to save $1.50 on a bowl of Pho? I ordered the Vietnamese bowl which is a cold noodle salad w/marinated meat and Vietnamese pickled veggies. I got the one with shrimp and pork. I was surprised to see a few pieces of perfectly marinated pork belly; yum. However, the actual pork was left in the fryer way too long and was close to being jerky. The shrimp was good and the flavored fish sauce was delish. My husband and son got the beef flank Pho and it was good. The Thai iced tea had too much ice and not enough condensed milk. Service was quick but not too friendly. When we walked in, there was an older Asian lady who was our waitress and I saw her roll her eyes the second we walked in the door. Even though there was only one other table being served. When we were seated she handed us our menus without greeting us. She simply placed the menus down and walked away. I later heard her telling another waiter that she was tired and ready to go home. I get it. Every one is tired but I don't want to hear about it. Noodles Pho U is a good alternative from going into the city but when headed into the city limits defiantly stop by Argyle St for a cheaper better tasting version of Vietnamese.

This was my first visit to Noodles Pho U. I will be back, but will keep my eyes open. The establishment was clean and well lit, with the staff being very attentive. It was a thursday night, so no real test of how it would be here with a full crowd. The menu promises more that just pho, with Chinese and Thai dishes also being offered. I saw a few things I've never seen on an asian menu before, so I will need to come back and try some of their other offerings. Since I've had Pho Tai before I decided to try that dish here to get an idea of how good this place was. The waitress brought out the condiments and I saw sirriacha, hoisin, and whoa,...where's the sambal oelek? Next came the pho tai. There were green onions in the bowl, but what's with all the white onions?! This always signals to me that an Asian resturant is being Americanized. No White Onions People! That said they were easily removed and placed on a side plate. Another point was the side plate of basil, bean sprouts, sliced jalapeño peppers and lime. The peppers were fresh, but the basil had brown spots. Now the broth itself was quite heavenly. Perfect actually. There was a lot of beef in the dish, but there were 3 pieces of gristle still attached as well. Thee were a lot of rice noodles too. Not a bad thing. Once I added the side items to my liking I was all set. I got a coconut honeydew melon smoothie to go. It was one of the most tasty Asian smoothies I've had in a while. So I would recommend a visit to NPU. Try some of the things you like and see what you think. I will try the pho again and try some other items. I will definitely be back for the smoothie.

Read about this on Yelp. Since I am big fan of Pho noodles, that I have to give it a try. Since I was with my kids, I wasn't too adventuress. But the chicken Pho noodles soup and Chicken Phai Thai noodles were really good. Definitely will go back and try something more "interesting" from the menu. The staffs were very friendly as well.

Lunch specials are a great deal, and the option of brown rice is awesome!

Went for the first time tonight for dinner. We both had Bowl (soup) very good. Thought looking at the menu prices were a little high, did see some dishes come out of the kitchen. Lots of food on each. Only disappointment was our waitress really didn't know menu very well. Do plan to go again. They had lots of staff so service is very good. Food comes out very hot

We've been here a few times now and the food and service just keep getting worse. The quality of beef in the pho is poor and the chicken in pho ga is coated in something and is very slimy. We ordered 3 dishes, all of which were delivered so far apart we either weren't going to be able to eat at the same time or would have grown cold waiting for the next dish. Once the last dish (pho) was brought out, an hour and a half after we ordered it, we all just wanted to leave. The waiter/owner never once came to our table to tell us why our food was all coming out separately or why things were taking so long, nor did he ask how the food was after it was delivered. Nobody came by with water refills, the check, or to-go boxes. We had to walk to the bar and wait more than 10 minutes for the waiter/owner to ask what was needed. He just kept writing in his notebook on the bar or wiping down the bar area. Not sure what was going on but this was the third time we've gone in where the service was this bad and for only mediocre food, at best, it's just not worth the time or frustration. Our 2yr old and 4yr old were so agitated by the end of it all they even asked if we could "not come back".

I was pretty excited to try their food for the first time. I placed the order online. About 45 minutes after placing my order, I received a phonecall that they had run out of the noodles I wanted and was told I could take another noodle dish instead. I wasn't sure and wanted to look over the menu and asked if I could call right back. With hesitation, the man agreed. I called back within in minutes. Upon changing my order, I was informed that I would need to wait an additional hour for my food because I didn't change my order when I was first called. The man on the phone was terse and not helpful and just gave me excuse after excuse and told me I missed my chance, since I didn't change my order immediately. That is just ridiculous. I am understanding of running out of ingredients and dealing with busyness. But, the reality is that they were just banking on the fact that I'd change my order to what they had ready to go out the door. When I asked why I wasn't called when my order first went in, the man just said, "We're busy, okay? Don't you hear that?" Unacceptable.

Went here recently and I had the Combination Seafood Soup while my wife had the Chicken Pho. Both dishes were so bland not even a half shaker of salt could make them any better. The "Rangoons" as I call them because they contained no crab were a disappointment as well. While it was awful nice of them to offer soft drinks, I would appreciate if they would at least keep the cans of soda (yes cans) in a refrigerator before serving them to your customers. This place is so Frugal they literally limit you to one paper napkin per patron. That was one hour & $36 of my life I can never get back!!! Stay away!!!

Excellent food and it is all so fresh. No mystery meat at this place! The pho is great and so are the noodle dishes. We have had dinner at the restaurant and have ordered delivery. They were even great about a mushroom allergy. I would have given 5 stars but the driver forgot our rice.

Good place. Used to be Sesame Chinese and was only Chinese. Now includes Vietnamese and Thai food. Really extensive menu. Good service. This is a good place to have really nearby for decent Chinese food at a really reasonable price. (because there is another good Chinese place but it's more expensive and I can get really good Thai at another place). I have yet to try the recommended Korean stone bowl rice, but what we got so far was great.

Awesome....went 3 times in the last 2 weeks, a packed saturday night and 2 weekday lunches. Every time was great. Super friendly staff and owner, real flexible on making it the way you want, a real gem. Definitely recommend

Ordered $70 worth of food, not impressed. The crab rangoons were just OK, the spring rolls had no taste, the shrimp lo mien was a greasy and the seafood combination tasted like crap with a foul fish like taste to it (they called to notify me they had no lobster for it). I did not recognize what some fish was in there but it tasted like crap. Do not waste your money. They give you huge portions but I do not believe it was fresh. I placed a $70 order and got it in less then 30 minutes, which is not good in my opinion. That means it is not fresh. Too much shit on the menu. You guys should cook what your good at and take everything else off. Maybe you are just good at the soups which I did not order. DO NOT PUT THINGS ON THE MENU THAT TASTE LIKE SHIT!!!! FYI, I will never go there again!!!

My family and I ordered food from Noodles Pho U probably about 7 times over about 8 months. Food is great, Delivery is fast, Service is good. This is our only place for asian food.

The owner is very friendly. The food is outstanding. My wife and I love this place... I definitely recommend this place.

A refreshing authentic cuisine in a typical suburban neighborhood. The food is fresh, the staff is very accommodating and sweet, and the flavor is grand without all the sodium. BYOB in Naperville is long overdue. For the Pho, order extra veggies on the side but be sure to ask for broccoli and carrot mix or you may just get more of the onions and sprouts (which come with Pho anyway).
(5)Chris K.
The fried rice was greasy and bland, the Pad Thai was dry and gross, and the beef in the Korean Stone Bowl tasted like it was previously made and reheated. Very disappointing. This is the second terrible meal we've had there. I decided to give them a second chance thinking they were just having a bad night the last time we ate there but, I was wrong... Don't waste your money.

Located in the Dominick's strip mall......menu is a fusion of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean!!! yum! i absolutely love their Pad Thai. it is the best that i have ever had! i get it prepared Surf and turf Shrimp the size of a lobster and the steak is tender and Juicy.....this place rivals the other go to noodle house's in Naperville, Joy Yee and Phat noodle. Give Noodles Pho u a try the next time you want high quality, fresh Asian Cuisine. You wont be disappointed.
