This place was busy on a Saturday, but they showed they can handle a crowd pretty efficiently. We had maybe a 15 minute, which is also what they quoted. The food quality was so-so and nothing special and had a pre-prepared cafeteria quality to it. The french toast did not have much egg content. The breakfast combos wife and I had were each $7.95, so reasonably priced. The complimentary donut holes were nice and distinctive for a breakfast place, and the pancakes are pretty large. Their main dining room was pretty vibrant, but they also have a small upstairs section where we sat. Servers and hostesses are friendly despite the busyness. Overall - just another average sort of addition to busy Route 59.

I've been to another location of Juicy-O, but this was the first time at this new one (also, the first visit in a long time). Can't say it was the most impressive breakfast I've had in town. For one thing, we were there well before the week-end morning rush, but it seemed like the wait staff couldn't be bothered with us. The food did come out quickly; in the meantime you can read all the cheezy sayings all over the walls. You do get a lot of food for the price, but don't be too picky about the quality (pancakes are the size of the plate, though they are on the tough side rather than fluffy; also, two of my pieces of bacon hadn't been separated so neither was really cooked on one side.) Basically what I am saying is, with all the breakfast places in town (my favorite probably being Pancake Cafe on Rickert), you can do better.

Had an AMAZING server...Kim! She was the most hospitable server I've had in a LONG time! I can't wait to come back and have her again :)

This place was packed last Sunday at about 11:30 a.m., but I suspect that its popularity is due more to its primo location-I think you could erect a complex of appliance boxes, post a "breakfast" shingle, and serve Asian carp at this location and it would be packed every Sunday- than to the quality of the food and the sharpness of service, because both of the latter were marginal at best. The service was the source of especial frustration. Frankly, it sucks. You have to beg for a coffee refill and everything moves at the pace of shifting tectonic plates. It is woefully understaffed. The food was fair at best, with the complimentary mini donuts being the only thing that was above average. The "screwy louie" skillet was a nondescript pile of beige food with little flavor (and probably 300 calories per forkful). My wife's order was screwed up, and the kid's mac and cheese is straight out of a Kraft box. Better (by far) options include Eggs, Inc and Butterfield's.

Loved the doughnut and the service. Didn't care for the taste of the bacon. Serving sizes are too big. Hate places that waste food. Will try their omelettes but won't try the waffles or pancakes again.

This isn't the first Juicy-O we've been to. Our experience at the Willowbrook location was much better, but still not worthy of a 4 or 5 star. Really I'm just giving it a 2 and I will probably go back one of these days without saying that my last experience was horrible. I don't know what it was. Our good friends raved about how this was hands down the best breakfast place they've ever been to. And these are our foody friends. We know that they don't have bad taste. So we try to see what it's all about. Here I go with another breakfast review. I feel like they are all sounding the same, but I try place's skillets, their southern food, and every once in a while, their Mexican breakfast foods. First of all, their shtick is the fresh donuts on every table when you sit down. To me, they were plain cinnamon/sugar donuts that you kind of feel obligated to eat since they are right there and in the end you just don't know why you ate them. They aren't really good and most of the time, they are already cold. The service is definitely not great. It's like they really tried to find the rudest and most inattentive and uncaring servers they could find like it was a job requirement. Not one server we have had even remotely cared about receiving a tip. The look and feel is weird. It's too new and reminds me of an old lady who just discovered the internet and posted up old lady humor jokes and pictures she found all over the walls. The coffee is boring and the food is just plain ordinary. Again, I could drive down the road and have literally the same thing at another breakfast place. Another one of their icons are Jimmy's potatoes. Again, meh. This was our friend's sticking point and their favorite item. They're like sliced potato wedge pieces with a little salt, pepper, a touch of cayenne, and other spices thrown in with a ton of onions. Onion flavor really doesn't agree with me so maybe that's it, but I see no redeeming quality in these potatoes and the rest of the experience. As for my other breakfast food, again, nothing special. Ordinary, thrown together generic breakfast that just doesn't taste like your family sit down breakfast, your hole in the wall breakfast nook, or your country farmers market. It's all a plate of bagged boring. I really hope my friends don't hate me for saying all that about their favorite place. Sorry guys.

Red velvet pancakes are hard to find, great tasting red velvet pancakes are even harder to find!! Everything was great here from the service, to the food, to the family friendly Atmosphere. Will be back here for sure for another great brunch!!

The fare is more than adequate. Good food, great service. Hey...they grind their own coffee beans so you know the coffee can't be that bad. A little pricey, but they deliver.

Went here yesterday for brunch. Wasn't really impressed with the service or food... Both were mediocre. The people that were sitting behind us had a hair in their food and mold on their fruit. They were discreet about it when telling the waitress, but it was audible to us. Kind of gross. MANAGER DID NOT EVEN COME OVER TO TALK TO THEM! UNACCEPTABLE! The restaurant itself looked very clean, which I appreciated immensely. The bathrooms, however, were a different story. Would not return.

I'll admit that I used to think that yelp was a little skewed by people who tend to complain more willingly than compliment, and actually I still kind of do, and so I've tended to ignore the one-star reviewer with his looooong description of every awful thing that happened; for that I apologize. I will no longer dismiss your reviews, ESPECIALLY when you turn out in masses, and I'll even join you in this one. I've been there twice now and I'll never go back again, there are too many breakfast places around to spend my money here; truth is, I find it kind of hard to review breakfast places, it's really not all that hard to scramble eggs and toast bread, so service seems to be one of things that separates these types of restaurants from each other. Both times I went the service was slow and inattentive, and both times the eggs and toast were cold; I went with a different set of people both times and no one really cared for their meals either time, and one person's pancakes cold and butter wouldn't even melt on them. We were able to get fresh items, and even change another person's meal (she didn't care for hers), but it seemed like a lot of hassle to eat sub-par food. The ladies up at the front could also use a warm-up and a dash of personality.

This is a great restaurant! My wife and I came here for breakfast on our anniversary. She had the salmon omelette and I the chorizo skillet, both meals were delicious! The freshly made donuts are excellent and the waitress was pleasant. Great choice!

Tried this place on 5/11/13 and probably won't be back. Our server was great but the food (except for the donut holes) were lackluster. The potatoe pancakes were way too doughy to be even considered good quality and the sausage patties were more like hamburgers than juicy sausage. In fact, there was really nothing juicy about this place. The restaurant was not really clean enough. Sugar packets and silverware could be found under the tables.

I went there for lunch with my family. Make sure you bring your appetite, they give you a lot of food. Don't forget about the free donuts, yummy!

After my experience here today I will not be back. To make this short I'll list all the problems I had: -Our waitress was very quiet. She only spoke to me when she needed to. She wasn't friendly at all and looked miserable. - She dropped off my food and I had to ask for silverware and napkins. She seemed annoyed. The entire time we were there she only stopped by our table to take our order, drop off food, clear a plate, and drop off the check. -They weren't busy at all and it still took about 40 mins to get our food. -The food was pretty nasty. My nephew ordered pancakes and French toast. He only ate half of the French toast and a small triangle of one of the two pancakes. I tasted it to see what was wrong and I understood why he didn't eat it. It tasted like pure flour and had a weird flavor to it. *My niece had a pancake, egg, and bacon kids meal and it was pretty gross too. The bacon tasted disgusting, and the pancake was off tasting as well. She ate her pancake because she thought it tasted ok. *I had the ham and cheese omelette. It looked and tasted fine until I got about half way and found two eggshells and what looked to be a hair. I immediately stopped eating and pushed my plate away. Gross. -The only positive thing I can say was that our waitress did notice that my nephew and I pushed away our plates and weren't eating and had her manager take 50% off my nephews order. They should've just taken the entire meal off the bill seeing as he only ate a tiny portion of it. Between the bad service and the horrible food, I'd think its safe to say that this would be a place worth skipping. Word to the wise: if you decide to eat here, check your food for eggshells and hair.

Unfortunately had breakfast there 7/28 their complete disorganization is stunningly obvious, how people can operate a place like this and call it a restaurant is beyond belief. If I could rate a minus I would. Arrived to see chaos at the reception desk, the person was stressed out of their mind, trying to greet new customers, be a cashier and serve donuts at the same time. Waited 30 minutes for a table, finally were brought upstairs, waited 5 minutes for a server to come by, asked for coffee, took 20 minutes to bring one cup of coffee. I had to remind the server to bring the coffee, she showed up with a cup and went to the next table and removed the coffee pot from their table and poured the coffee, very classy !!! The server began complaining about the bussers because they were not helping her, sorry not my problem. One of the reasons it take so long to get seated is because the tables are not cleared in a timely manner, there were two table of 4 next to us that had not been cleaned from the previous customers, the entire time we were seated almost an hour, no wonder they can't get people seated. The food took 43 minutes to be served from the time the order was given. The food was nothing to even bother writing about neither good nor bad. Don't waste you time or money on this place, there are other very good breakfast places in Naperville and the surrounding areas. I certainly will never go back, this building must have a spell on it, there has been a restaurant failure one after another, at the rate they are going Jucy-O is the next to fall.

Bought a Groupon to here and really enjoyed the place. Free bowl of donuts is brought almost immediately after being seated, food was very good, above average coffee, and reasonably priced. Service was good, friendly, and prompt. No complaints really. Will go back for sure (especially since I just bought 2 more groupons to here!).

I really did not want to try this place because of all the negative reviews on here, but a girlfriend of mine said it was fine and convinced me to go. The service was fine and food was good. No one was rude to us, but from what I can tell from the other reviews it seems to be hit or miss. I guess we went on a good day :) The only thing I found odd was when I ordered my sandwich, the waitress didn't tell me it came with soup. I read on the menu it did, but I really didn't want it, so I didn't mention it. She brought the soup after we were half way through our meal......odd, but whatever I guess. Oh, and she didn't even tell me what it was, just dropped it off without saying anything....I didn't eat it, so I can't comment on what it was or how it tasted. Other than that odd incident, this place is OK. Donuts are good.

If I could I would give this dreadful restaurant 0 stars. Although our service wasn't too bad, our food was horrible. In fact for the first time ever, I refused to eat the food that I ordered. I had the quiche and fresh fruit. The fruit was not at all ripe, and the quiche tasted old and rubbery. I was afraid of food poisoning so i just shoved it aside. I felt that I had to say something to our server, and the management took it off my bill, which did make me happy. I also ordered a cappuccino and I liked that, so my coffee drink became my lunch that day. One more thing--this place hasn't been open all that long at this location, so, why oh why was the rest room so dirty? Not just messy--dirty! I feel that customers should be warned--stay away!

I took my two young sons here today, and they really enjoyed themselves. We went late so that they wouldn't be crowded, and we only waited a few minutes. Our server was excellent--when I was going to order two children's meals, she whispered to me that they were really big and suggested I just order one and have the boys split it. She was right! I don't know any child who could eat that huge of a pancake! Even though my older son kept asking for more crackers and donuts, the waitress never lost her smile. I had a fancy french toast, and when it was a little cold in the middle, she immediately fixed the problem and apologized. It ended up being very good. I asked for hot tea, and she brought me a huge pot so I didn't have to keep asking for more. My sons devoured their pancake, which I snuck a bite of, and it was nice and fluffy. My older son actually hoarded his bacon and made me save a centimeter of it to take home for later. I loved the donuts so much I bought some to take home for my husband. For a breakfast place, I thought the food was very tasty and the service kind, especially to a mom out alone with two kids who don't always, ahem, sit quietly.

I tried Juicy-O for the first time this past weekend. Unfortunately, from start to finish, the dining experience was just not up to par. After being seated out of order (since someone forgot to write down our number and party size on the list), a bowl with three tiny donuts was plopped in front of our party of 2. After we each ate one, we had to rock-paper-scissors to decide who would get the third (I was the lucky one). The mini donuts were good, and even though there wasn't the proper food-to-human ratio for the donuts, I remained optimistic. I had the frittata with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pesto, which was topped with asiago. I think I would have like it, had it not been for the congealed mass of rubbery "fresh" mozzarella cheese which was localized to the center of the frittata. Since I've had a few hundred caprese salads in my adulthood, I am used to a melt-in-your-mouth soft and luscious QUALITY fresh mozzarella cheese, which this was not. It was served with potatoes which were burned on one side and toast burned on one side.. When I say burned, I don't mean browned or caramelized, I mean charred to black. In my own kitchen, the potatoes and toast would be considered garbage once they are burned, but apparently they have much lower standards at Juicy-O. I would have loved to have cut off the burned parts of my potatoes, but instead of a butter knife, I was given some type of spreader (that looked like a knife) but had no cutting ability. So instead, I awkwardly ate around the burned parts of the potatoes with my hands. The hubby had a standard plate of 2 eggs, toast and potatoes. His eggs and toast were perfect, but his potatoes were even more charred than mine. On top of that, my water glass stood empty for the last third of my meal and I had to ask for it to be filled. Why do I have to ask? Why isn't anyone checking? And the line to check out was about eight parties long, so around 20 people were standing around waiting to check out clogging up the waiting area with only two people able to take money (one was credit cards only). **** FOOD SAFETY ALERT #1 *** This restaurant uses ketchup in bottles with caps. Most of the restaurants I go to have changed over to squeeze bottles. So what's the big difference? When you have bottled ketchup, a frustrated diner may use a DIRTY KNIFE to get the ketchup unstuck. This knife will have residue of whatever it was used for. Once the bacteria is in the bottle, it will replicate, especially since it is kept at room temperature. This poses a risk of food poisoning. Imagine someone cutting a medium rare hamburger and then using that knife in the bottle. That scenario could result in a hospital stay for someone after the bacteria replicates for a day or two. **** FOOD SAFETY ALERT #2 *** As I mentioned earlier, this place will serve charred items to customers. I urge everyone to do an internet search on the words, "charred food cancer" and read the results. There is evidence to suggest that once food is charred, there is a chemical change in the food making it carcinogen (which is quite hazardous to your health). When I go out for breakfast, I want it to be a nice experience with quality food prepared the right way. This place failed on all accounts. I mean it was a seriously awful, terrible experience. Perhaps the worst ever dining experience in my life.

I was super impressed with Juicy-O's. Off the bat, anywhere that starts my weekend breakfast with a little basket of donuts wins me over ;) The menu had a lot of unique items on it, including things like breakfast sliders. It was nice to see some different options available. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the decor, and the prices as well. Wish this location wasn't so far from me - we need some Juicy-O's out in the North suburbs!

I agree with some of the reviewers who have had "diminishing" experiences with Juicy-O. We've been to three different locations, one of them twice -- so four total. Our first visit was over-the-top wonderful; we couldn't wait to go back. Second time, different location, just so-so. Third time, borderline bad. Today, pretty disappointing. Hostess and server were nice, coffee and pop brought quickly -- but no silverware or straws. I had to literally walk into their kitchen and ask for things! Food okay, but not worth going back for, when the service is getting worse and worse.

The first few visits, the food was quite good. I've noticed that the last few times, the quality of the food was not as it used to be. The scrambled eggs that came with any order seems to be undercooked. There are better breakfast restaurants around the Aurora-Naperville area that will now be my first choice.

The one complaint I have is that we came in with a gift card for Juicy O's and when it was time to pay they said they could not accept it because it was purchased at the one on Washington Street in Naperville. If gift cards or coupons are only good at a specific location they usually say so on the card, but the card makes no mention of their restriction. I also found it odd considering they offer a Groupon that works at all four locations.

Wow, i didn't think i would give a breakfast place 5 stars, but this was just great. Food was tasty and hot, coffee was good, juice was good and we even got a few little donuts to snack on for free! Had 2 eggs and sausage and it was about as good as you can make em. The Breakfast menu is extensive, and everything looks and sounds great. I usually have a regular breakfast place i visit every sat morning, today i wanted to give something new a try. After my fist visit i think Juicy O just took that spot.

Every new restaurant has some kinks to iron out, but the past two times I've been here the food has been amazing. Their omelets are especially light and fluffy, and are always packed with cheese and whatever else you ordered. While I wouldn't give the servers a million dollar tip, they have always been super nice and given me service with a smile every time. The big thing that sets this place apart from other breakfast places is the donuts! Those dangerous puppies are hot and fresh every day; we've seen tons of people come in and just order donuts to go! By far the best donuts we've had in a long while. Overall, my recommendation to all you bad reviewers would be to give this place another chance. Juicy-O is certainly one of our favorites and always leaves us excited to come back!

The food and service was good, as was the complimentary donuts. But the place is another breakfast/brunch restaurant in already crowded field in the same category. We had a minimal wait on a Saturday morning (about 5 minutes) before we were seated. The overall decor of the restaurant is inviting and clean. We order an OJ and an Eye Opener(spicey Tomato juice) while we went through the vast menu. We settled on the eggs benedict and I for the corned beef hash skillet. While we waited for the food to come, they delivered the donuts (the best part of the meal, in my opinion) as well as our drinks. The tomato juice was bland for a spicey version of the drink. I realize that it was missing an important element for it to be complete, I just had hoped that there would a been more of a bite to it, maybe so horseradish or pepper. My wife's eggs benedict was OK as was my skillet. Neither were spectacular, but both were good for the price. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict had a chicken taste to it, as though perhaps they had incorporated some stock to it, but that was the only real negative about that dish. The skillet was a little bland, but it was good enough to enjoy my breakfast. The service was sketchy. Our server would available for a few minutes in the beginning, then it felt like we wouldn't see her for another 20 minutes. I like having a lot of water for my meals, and so I spent a good part of it with my glass being empty and only the not-so good tomato juice to hold me over. Overall I would feel comfortable rating the place an overall 3 star, but I am not sure I would choose this place over some of the others. I suppose if there were long waits at those establishments, this would be a decent place to settle on.

Dis-O-ppointing! I tried the cheddar burger. It's an 8 ounces burger but thin as opposed to a thick burger. A thick burger would be much better. The burger was over cooked. The tomato had an off funky refrigerator flavor. The soup tasted like something out of a can. The ketchup bottle at our table was gross. The server was friendly but the service fell way short. She forgot the salad dressing, butter for the roll and I had to ask for the soup. The warm mini donuts were the highlight.

Went here for breakfast for the first time last week and left very impressed - and very full! The portions are ridiculously large! I had a Denver Skillet with pancakes and my partner had a Italian Sausage, Green Pepper, Onion, and Mozzarella frittata with pancakes. Both come with the delicious Jimmy potatoes - loved that they are cooked kind of crispy! The pancakes were super huge and very good. All the food was served pretty fast and very fresh. Service was fine - nothing overly special or lacking. We went during the week, around 8am - so it wasn't super busy with no wait to be seated. The donuts - which we were really looking forward to - were good - but awkwardly small - we were given 3 for 2 of us. Not sure if you can get more - we didn't ask nor were offered any. Based on the price and the portion size, we will definitely be back.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! Congratulations to Juicy O for having the worst service in Naperville. We arrived on a Sunday morning with a somewhat large party of 10 so we knew there might be a wait going into it, we are told 15-20 minutes, not so bad...an hour later still no table. I kept watching them seat parties of 4-5 people over and over. Do you think they would have thought about pushing two of those 4-tops together to seat us????? Worst part is a party of 11 came in after us and got seated before us, when I called out the manager she said they phoned ahead....too bad for the manager that I was friends with one of the people in that party of 11 and they had just phoned ahead about 10 minutes prior to arriving. We waited about 65 minutes to get seated and then once we got seated it was another 15 minutes before we had our drink orders taken. The manager is an evil scornful women who should definately not be in the service industry becuase it is clear she does not know how to do her job and does not do well in social settings and is in WAY over her head. Food quality was decent but could NEVER make up for the poor service. Coffee refills, what are those? They finally brought out a coffee carafe for refills after everyone was done eating. In looking at all the other reviews on here it appears service, or should I say lack their of is their downfall.

Waiting staff is hit or miss. The kitchen somehow managed to give us coffee in the syrup cup that was poured over a stack of French toast. The hostess was overwhelmed and given no help. Our server didn't even ask for our drink order...

Update!!. I really believed that my last visit to Juicy-O would be my last. However, I executed an offer on Double Take and my husband wasn't keen on the revisit, but the budget prevails!! I figured if I steered clear of the pancakes, omelets and burrito's I'd be fine. My kids generally will eat anything, so I wasn't so worried there. Again the front desk was scattered and we weren't quite sure who to approach to get on the list for the table as no one was directing us. We finally get seated at a booth and immediately the waitress approached the table, this time luckily with the silverware in tow & she was also quite friendly. I was prepared this time with plastic utensils just in case. I casually told the waitress of our past struggles with the silverware and not getting it with humor. I informed her too that I blog on several food sites - so I was impressed that she took care of silverware right off the bat. Her attitude it seemed to soften my earlier frustration. She seemed to own the issues, agree, attesting it's a negative impact on her pay. She apologized and told me that they are aware of this issue and she personally restructures her own service to spare her customers from a similar fate. I also told the waitress that the hostess at the front desk wasn't friendly or approachable; as she asked why I reviewed. She quickly agreed and confirmed it; she also added that the older blonde woman I spoke of was the general manager. From that I was shocked/disappointed, because my dealings with her have been rude. The manager isn't a people person, seems annoyed, unapproachable, curt and short, not one that should be on the front line greeting customers. I was shocked that shortly after I was then approached by the manager at our table. The waitress goes back and tells the manager and within minutes she approached our table. She was the very person that we conveyed complaints too and was disregarded. She approached our table in an attempt to what I thought to just introduce her-self as the manager and apologize for the service issues historically. I very quickly realized her approach to me was more of frustration of what I had written and not as a means to make it right. She made a point of noting my user name and stated that she recognized me from my picture. She wasn't really interested in my past experiences or to apologize for that, she was simply in a hostile approach to gain understanding why I didn't approach her directly about my service issues. She said "I want to give you a chance to speak to me face to face and not go on line to write about it in a review". She definitely had an attitude, snotty, dismissive and hostile. She caught me off guard, I said very little. Need I remind her that I did attempt to address it with her at an earlier visit and she basically "stared blankly at us and did/said nothing"; What's the point? I choose to share my experience so that others can learn before they invest time and money on a risky experience. In Naperville you can go to a different restaurant 365 days a year and never hit the same one twice. Service isn't negotiable. Many folks will write off a place because of a bad experience, I write about it. As my husband was settling up the check and waiting in line he was behind another patron leaving the restaurant (This very manager that had just approached our table just 20 minutes prior, she seen him standing there waiting.) This patron was trying to sort out another issue with his experience there right then. She then said "sir we're going to have to let this go because they will write another false review written about me on yelp". The other patron told her "This is bad business; you have the authority to address this but choose not to." My husband didn't hear the details of his complaint; but enough to know that he was unhappy, another witness that the manager failed to address another patron. The manager than said to my husband "There's a lot more to running a restaurant than people realize." This is just poor business and a quick way of going out of business. This is a quick way to go out of business. A word of advice; never take your customers for granted, especially in Naperville. This building has been a revolving door for failed restaurants from the time it opened. The Groupon and Double Take will only get you so far. If you can't maintain the clientele drawn in from these incentives your restaurant is doomed. With all of the incentives, it worth it to address any and all complaints from Patrons swiftly & fairly before they leave. If not, the windfall of not doing it is catastrophic, because it's truly a small world. Never accept less that you deserve when you're paying for it; especially when eating out. You truly get what you pay for.

Seemed like every reviewer either really liked the place or really disliked it. I'm in the dislike camp. The place looks nice and is very big so even on Sunday morning, we didn't have to wait to get seated. Looking around they have a bunch of framed sayings and you would think they would have proofread them but there were so many grammatical errors it was funny. Ok onto the food. I ordered french toast and wasn't given any syrup...uh duh! When I asked for syrup it took a good 10 mins before I got it. We also asked for extra napkins but never got those. Also drank my water pretty fast and it never got refilled. My friend got the corned beef hash and it was very soggy so she didn't like it at all. I tasted it also and wasn't fond of it either. My french toast was something I could've made at home. It wasn't even the thick sliced bread. Their donuts were good but I can get those at any decent chinese buffet which usually serves those as their sweet donut bread. I looked around and none of their wait staff had a smile on their face and it didn't look like any of them were happy. Anyways will probably not go back. Hope you have better luck if you go!

We've been here 3 times since this location has opened. I have been to the other locations with pretty decent service and quality of food. But with the Rt 59 location, our experiences here have been bad enough that I took to yelp to TELL THE WORLD. I am a person who believes in second, and even third chances. I try to understand that crap happens and no one is perfect. People have bad days. I totally get this. The first time we came here, it was during a weekend morning rush. We waited probably close to an hour. What was extremely off-putting was that a woman (who I later discovered was a local political candidate) and her family were given preferential treatment over us (and many others) while they only waited a short time. I watched the manager/supervisor introduce herself and made sure they were taken care of...while the rest of us waited even longer. When we were finally seated, our server who was obviously tired and probably annoyed brought out our order, except my eggs were prepared wrong. It was apparent that when they brought back my plate, the kitchen staff had just scraped off the most of the scrambled eggs off my skillet and replaced them with over easy eggs (like I had originally ordered.) It looked sloppy and the waitress was unapologetic. Months and months later we decided to give it another try. This time we waited a much shorter time and were seated maybe after 20 minutes. No problem. Food was alright. Coffee terrible. Donuts are always delicious, but if you ask for more, be prepared for some sort of weird passive-aggressive reaction/non-reaction. I'm sure people always want more donuts, and yes they cost something after the first free round. But don't give people weird attitude or just don't serve free donuts. We went back again last weekend. Mother's Day. Super swamped. Long wait. I was definitely not surprised and not upset, because every place was going to be busy. Duh. It took probably close to 45 min to be seated this time which they did inform us of. However, I watched other people who had reservations and were ahead of us (be promised a very short wait time) continue to keep waiting and waiting and they kept getting more and more upset. I just don't understand the seating/wait time issues here. But, I can guess it's pretty stressful to work weekends. We were finally seated and we ordered our food after an additional 10-15 minute wait. Food: Average. Coffee: God-awful. I remember how bad the coffee was the last time I was here and ordered an iced americano instead, which was at least better than their coffee. My husband had one sip of his coffee and left it. It was thin (super watered down) and had a terrible aftertaste. So...there you have it. Free donuts are delish, but not worth the wait, or the bad coffee. Oh, and this is my first ever Yelp review. It took enough crappy visits for me to actually write something about it.

Horrible food and the restaurant was dirty! Service was non existent and employees looked miserable. Even worst was watching the cooks and/or employees eat while expoing the food that is going out to the dining area! Not one positive in my experience here and will not return!

I host a networking meeting here and I can not begin to tell you how horrible the service and food is. We have tried to address this issue with management and the problem literally went from bad to worse! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.

Let me start out by saying that the food here is good and the donuts are excellent. HOWEVER, if the there is even the SLIGHTEST amount of customers in there , or you are unlucky enough to get the wrong server, you will easily be waiting close to (30) minutes for just one meal. We like the food here a lot . But soon , not enough to put up with the very spotty service ...

I loved the food and also the ambience is pleasing. Specially the veggie skillet was yummy and my hubby ordered chicken and mushroom skillet and he loved it too. The donuts were good too! The service was not bad either. All in all a thumbs up.

Super slow service. I had a empty cup of coffee and water for over 10 minutes. Food was mediocre. Much better breakfast places out there than Juicy-O in the area.

Everything we go here I get great service! I think maybe once it was ok but the food is good the donuts are great and the potatoes are amazing.

The food and the service was great. A nice waitress named Abbey waited on us, she was very polite. I loved the omelette with amazing potatoes. Their portions will definitely fill you up! The manager was on top of it and really nice checking in on all the guest. I would surely recommend eating here, I had a great experience, even cracking jokes with the hostess on the way out!

Did not like the service, sent my food back twice. The manager did take 1/2 off the bill. I was not offered donuts I had to ask for them just like I did for a steak knife, straw, and A1 sauce, will not return or recommend. And the waitress made me feel rushed,it was a Monday morning so it wasn't crowded

I love this place!!! The staff is super friendly, the waitress we had name Lisa was very attentive:) But come hungry bcuz the food is amazing and the portions are HUGE:) The little donuts are delicious and the pancakes are the size of frisbees!!! Lol! I've only been there twice but I'll be back for sure!

Drove past this place a million times then finally bought a groupon to try it!!! Weve been back multiple times since!! The pancakes r honestly the best, and they r enormous!! The portion sizes r huge, I always bring leftovers home and eat it as a snack later. The little donuts they put on the table r addicting you will most likely but some and take them home. I just wish they were open a little bit later so I could try all their lunch options.

The only thing I enjoyed about Juicy-O were the four tiny donuts they gave us upon sitting down. The waitresses were very confused. Two people offered to take our order, and didn't know whose table we were at. My latte was cold. The waitress brought us seltzer water instead of regular water. The food was nothing special. I had biscuits and gravy and there was hardly any gravy! If you really want a good breakfast, for a better price, go around the corner to Pomegranate Cafe.

this place for me is one and done. Took the kids with me on a saturday morning. seated promptly. little dough balls arrived fairly soon. Upon sampling them, I discoverd that the were very doughy, making me question if they were cooked/fried completely or not. My three year old spit hers out without finishing hers. Breakfast - everyone but me got pancakes. They were huge. They were also mushy. The kids love pancakes but again, didn't finish or even attempt to eat what I would have thought was a fair portion for breakfast. My skillet was steak and mushroom. it was good but lacking in the mushroom category. steak was overcooked and I don't remmber if the server asked me for my preferred temperature. she also did not refill my coffee promptly which is always a bummer. at the end of the day I wlll go elsewhere, heck even McD's, before heading back to JuicyO. sorry dudes.

Terrible service. I sent omelette back because due to wrong ingredients. Received another omelette half cooked. The waittress had an attitude. Will not be going back.

I came here for the 2nd time (typing this before we leave) and I'm still not impressed. I really wanted to like Juicy-O because the complimentary doughnuts are so good but I simply cannot get past the unfriendly service & mediocre food. Portions are big but what's the point if it doesn't taste good?

This was the first time my family and I went here. I looked very nice and clean, the staff was friendly and and helpful. First let me say they start you out with a small bowl of donuts. They were so good! They were small but still hot, very rich and they melt in your mouth. We only had two small issues and that is that I had asked for my food with no peppers cause I am allergic and when my food came it was loaded with green pepper. They took it back right way and only took a few minutes to get new food. The other thing that I had a small issue with was my daughters chicken tenders we very dry and tasteless. She did not complain about them but she did not take more than a bite or two. But when she had the donuts and her fries so she was more than happy!

The servers are here just to socialize with the kitchen staff first, then the clients. Open kitchen, so you hear everything. Waited 20 minutes to be noticed at 2pm with only two tables occupied. After readying ourselves to leave, the manager asked how things were so far, and we said, we have no idea, nobody has come over here yet, she immediately summoned Robin, she was our attempted server. 10 minutes for her to bring coffee, another 10 to get cream, she said she kept forgetting to come back, Anything that could go wrong did. Manager and food were great, service is as negative as it can be with Robin, who laid an egg, although, the other servers seemed to be friendly and attentive. We will be back, but no way will I sit in Robins section, life is too short

Went there on Aug17. Eggs came out scrambled instead of sunny side up with hash browns and toast all of which was cold. Took it back & got correct eggs and nuked the rest. People behind us had a hair in the food. Place was filthy with eggs under our booth and woman's room was horrible. Service was very poor and slow. Would not go back.

Had excellent service every time I go. The free donuts are PHENOMENAL! The last time I went there I arrived right before they closed and the service was still really good. I've never ordered a bad meal there and my gf agrees.

Walked in today granted they just opened at 7, waited 30 minutes for eggs and biscuits and gravy. The food was not even hot, the sausage was hard as rock and Definitely not fresh, i will never go to this place for breakfast there are a handful of way better options. Horrible and the owner has no personality.

What we ordered: Little donuts for the appetizer (they gave them to us for free!). Delicious! Was so excited after starting off with those. Bacon Waffle - Just a standard belgian waffle with overcooked bacon bits thrown on top. Not what I was expecting at all, the bacon was so hard, it hurt my teeth crunching on it. Cinnamon Roll - Was *not* a cinnamon roll! It was basically one of those cinnamon loaf bread rounds that you can buy at grocery store. It seemed like it was heated up in the microwave (it had that chewy consistency of something overcooked in a microwave) and then doused in cream cheese frosting. The frosting was good, the "roll" was not. Mac & Cheese - this tasted like really cheap off-brand Mac & Cheese. Not good. Avocado Omlette - meh. Potatoes were tasty though. Toast was good. Mickey Mouse Pancake - meh. Hard to mess this up, but nothing special. Some of the other dishes (mostly sandwiches with fries or chips) served to other patrons looked pretty good, but I would dissuade anyone from ordering these particular dishes.

We came here because we received a coupon in the mail a few months back and we were waiting for it to open so we could go and try it out. We called multiple times as the weeks passed by until the place finally opened, we wen't there a week or two after the grand opening. The greeting was very abrupt and rude by the manager who didn't give us a nice first impression at all. In a few minutes we got seated and we gently told our waiter about our coupon that happened to be expired even though the restaurant was open only by a few days if we could still use it, she said she will ask the manager. After a few minutes, even though the place was fully busy and people was waiting in line, the manager took the time to come to our table to tell in our face that the coupon was expired and she wasn't accepting it. Her tone was, again, rude and we felt treated like beggars. The food was normal, classic food that you can find in any breakfast although it was slightly more pricey that what you would normally find. Me and my wife ordered two classic two eggs breakfast with a cup of coffee, spent 30$. We absolutely have no reason to return to this place and the manager made sure that the overall experience was awful.

The Breakfast & donuts are Outstanding, when you do finally get served... However the waiting is 30-45 mins standing in the lobby, worst is when there are tables available upstairs that I can see not being used!! The wait could be longer than 45 mins. If you come, come in NOT Hungry or you will be upset like I was last time. I wont go back, this is just nonsense as much as I like the food there. I will recommend not to go there due to frustration standing and waiting. Large parties are favored to be seated, as it seems, and small couple like us, seem we must wait. and wait and wait and wait some more...

There are many places to choose from for Breakfast in Naperville and this place is right at the bottom of the list. By far the worst service I have experienced for a breakfast place. The atmosphere of the place is great. When we arrived and there was a wait for a table. Which to us seemed like a good sign, considering we were there on a Friday morning. When our number was called, we were told to wait to be seated and wait we did. We stood around for another 5 minutes before the hostess noticed no on had seated us. Now that we were seated, we waited 5-10 mins for "a" waitress, not ours, to ask if we wanted something to drink. My son ordered a smoothie which we had to continuously ask for. After waiting other 5 mins, we received our drinks(minus the smoothie) and then we waited again another 5-10 mins before "our" waitress showed up to take our order. The food came out promptly. The portions are huge. I could have ordered from the kids menu and had left overs. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Our waitress never came back after taking our order to see if we needed anything. We had to flag her down because we never received the smoothie my son originally ordered. Then she again disappeared, never to be seen again. I had to walk up to someone and ask for my check after waiting around for over 10mins after we finished our meal. Would I recommend Juicy-O, NOT AT CHANCE!!! Make your way to Blueberry Hill, Eggsperience or Egg Harbor. Don't waste your time "literally" with this place. I won't be back.

if you're in the mood for a really good breakfast, look no further. The Texas Style Breakfast and the Skillets are great. Love the place and would highly recommended. Food is of much better quality than in most of the breakfast diner's all over the area. Good place, good food.

Second time stopping in Juicy-O. The first experience was a different location (Washington St.) and comparably so, much better than the second time at Rt. 59. We were seated quickly, however, our server was very detached and quiet. She seemed like she wasn't confident in her explanation of the different food options and attempted to be secretive at times when we asked questions. The main thing I anticipated about Juicy-O was sitting down to fresh warm donuts. This time our donuts were kind of greasy and cold. My company that morning wasn't impressed with her pancakes. I ordered french toast. Big mistake. They were very dense square blocks of tastelessness. It was like a flour concoction with syrup poured over it and some weird faintly tasting cream on top. The side of sausage was not appetizing. The food was lukewarm. The coffee was alright. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. The only real enjoyment I received was my company and the cool decor. That's it. I won't be visiting this location again. If I'm craving those donuts as they should be or at least a plate of HOT food I'll be willing to give the location on Washington a second chance but; that being a last resort for a breakfast outing anyway.

Juicy-O? More like Juicy-Oh my God this place is disgusting. This is a wake-up call to the owners. Having many years of experience in restaurant management, the following is meant to open your eyes to what's going on in your store. It's going to cost you business. The design and decor are very nice, but don't be fooled. I ate at noon on a weekday, and the place was a mess. From food on the floor to food on my silverware to many un-bussed tables, the restaurant was a mess. I'll get to the filthy manager later. The French dip was just awful. I don't send food back, but I did this time. There was something wrong with it. It smelled and tasted rancid, like it had gone bad. I ordered a BLT to replace it, and it was great. My server wasn't too friendly through the beginning of the meal; she didn't smile and never told me her name. However, she was genuinely concerned when I returned my first entree. She checked back several times and salvaged a one-star rating from what would have otherwise been zero. The manager was a joke. She was dressed in a ratty t-shirt, tight black pajama-type pants, gym shoes, and an apron. You know the kind of pants I'm talking about... the kind that college girls wear to their morning classes because they're too lazy to get dressed for the day. Furthermore, she walked all around the restaurant, including into the restroom twice and handling money at the register, and back into the kitchen where she was expediting orders. After I returned my entree and order a new one, my server told me that the manager wouldn't charge me for either entree, but she never came by to see what was wrong. There really was something wrong with that roast beef in the French dip, but she just assumed that I was a picky eater or something. Stupid and irresponsible. Then, when I went to pay my bill, the manager was at the register, smiling and asking me how everything was. Really? If you don't know by now, talking about it at the register isn't going to help. Overall conclusions: dirty, unfriendly, unprofessional, unmanaged p.s. Why am I served doughnuts in the afternoon?

Food was ok, Service ok, Waitress was rude. Hostess seated us at a dirty table when the place was empty, we asked to have the table and floor cleaned. They could of had us sit elsewhere since the place was empty but we just waited. To top it off they charges us $3.95 when we asked for another tea bag!!!!! (Bring your own).

I met a friend for a late breakfast today and suggested to try Jucy O's since they were the newly opened. We were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu is extensive. Some really creative dishes. Our order was tasty and hot, the service was quick and the waitress friendly. So was the Hostess. The donuts they bring you when you are seated are to die for. They are really good and served warm. We will definitely be back again.

ive been here at least a handful of times, thanks to groupon, and each time aside from the last was a pleasant experience. the last time, our waitress took several minutes to tend to us for just our drink order. by that time, we were ready to order our meals. i requested no onions be added to my chorizo skillet eventhough she stated the skillet was "sprinkled with green onions" that did not appear on the menu. because my skillet arrived with green onions, she brought me a "corrected" dish which also excluded green BELL PEPPERS that i do favor. if you are reading this and are still not following, the waitress mistook the green onions for bell peppers, initially added green onions to my order (since i dont recall ever seeing green onions on past orders), then requested the corrected dish exclude both green onions and bell peppers. as a result, my food was not as tasty as it could have been. ...so my suggestion is to find servers who are familiar with dishes and ingredients. that is all.

customer service there is very poor. no one greeted me at the door. I waited two minutes before anyone said hello and then said Oh will you be dining alone? when they see me I noticed a bowl of empty butter packets on my table. when the waitress came she offered no specials, no recommendations, never asked if I had ever been there before, and ran off in a hurry. are you ended up getting pops breakfast which included half a plate of potatoes that were overseasoned, however the rest was delightful. I had eggs over easy which covered bacon which covered a thick piece of toast and all topped with a basil sauce. when I asked for grits to replace my potatoes she brought me a bowl of very watery soupy grits. no wonder it was served with the soup spoon. the two donuts that were brought up to the table when I sat down were yummy. according to the menu they do so these in half dozen size as the smallest for takeout. this was never offered to me prior to them bring me my check nor was it offer to me and when I went to go pay for my bill. perhaps their take out service is better than sit in dining. but make sure you know what you want to order because they will not offer any suggestions!

I've definitely enjoyed my visits at this location. They offer some unique dishes you can't find anywhere else. Come get you some fresh donuts and take a look and see. My last visit the waitress here was an A+. I wish they'd put some top notch cooks in the location over on Washington. Perhaps I should risk a return visit, since it's been a while since I refused a return visit. The buzz on the street is this still is the best location.

We had a great breakfast here not long ago. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out fast! The portions are ginormous so you'll probably end up taking some home unless you starve yourself before coming. The complimentary donuts are realllllly good. I had to fight back the urge to scarf them all down at once. We will definitely come back if we are in the area and looking for a great breakfast. Supposedly this place is owned by the same folks that run Jimmy B's next door. I don't know how that's possible quite honestly and my review of Jimmy B's should attest to that. : /

My brother and I just moved to the area (actually I just moved into his abode), and we decided that we wanted breakfast foods for lunch. With his knowledge of the area, we decided to head to Juicy-O for our meal. Fortunately, I had a good idea of what to expect because I had been to the Downers Grove location a few years back. They offer the same exact menu, but I had a good idea going into my meal that I was going to get my standard: omelette with fruit instead of potatoes, and a side of pancakes. I just had to decide what exactly I wanted. We were seated after a very brief wait (we arrived around noon; if we would have arrived 15 minutes later, we would have had no wait). My brother ordered his coffee and I stuck with water. I decided on the grilled vegetable omelette, which featured green and red peppers, zucchini, mushroom, and onion. Avocado is usually featured in my orders, but since they weren't part of the meal, I went with eggs instead of my usual egg beaters. For my pancakes, I remembered that I really liked their stone ground whole wheat cakes, and I decided on adding blueberries for no extra charge. My brother ordered the grilled vegetable frittata, which was the same ingredients as my omelette but was cooked with Italian seasonings and topped with asiago cheese. He went with regular whole wheat cakes and cottage cheese. Our food was out in about 7 minutes... extremely fast! Our server was just okay; we asked for sugar free syrup and extra napkins, and we only had the syrup delivered after a bit of a delay. She didn't really check on us after getting our food, but it wasn't a huge damper. My co-worker said that Juicy-O uses coupons such as Groupon, but even without one I will be going back. I love breakfast/lunch style places like these. They have something for everyone! Prices weren't terrible either; $24.81 for 2 people (2 and change for coffee). Pancakes were my favorite part of the meal but that's not to say the rest was bad.

Writting this May 10th 2015. I called Juicy O at 10:12 AM and asked if they did reservations. A very nice lady answered the phone and said they do but their list is full. Then after checking she said she could fill me in for a reservation for 4 people in 30 minutes. I rushed my whole family out of bed and we made it in 25 mins! I checked in at the front desk only to be told my name wasn't down and that they only do reservations for 7+ people. I know it was my fault to get so late to a restaurant on Mothers Day... But what was vey upsetting is the false information they gave me. The manager gave me the excuse of "you must've heard wrong because its loud in here" I know i didn't because i made sure twice of what i heard! Defenetly disappointed. Glad i got seated at Dennys in less than 15 mins regardless of the 30 people waiting. They are very fast on their feet! Thank you Dennys.

Went here again! They brought TWO samples of donuts this time (one for me and one for my twin brother). We had Eva (our waitress, who was pretty good) take them away since I'd eat the whole thing! Check my previous review for facts about this place. Ordered a frittata and omelette (grilled vegetable varieties). Came in about 10 minutes which was AWESOME! Whole wheat pancakes, blueberry whole wheat pancakes, cottage cheese, and fruit were subs (FO' FREE). Only reason not for five star? No extra napkins...:-)...after being asked a few times. I've been here twice. I got an omelette the second time and it was great! The service here is the reason I take off one star. Sometimes you hear from your waitress and other times you wait! I was smart enough to ask her to leave the carafe of coffee!

Been here for breakfast and lunch and I have to say my lunch experience wasnt good. I ordered a burger and ordered it medium but it came out well done, so well done the patty was dry. It was awful. The breakfast foods that I've tried have always, been good. The skillets are yummy, good portions and the food comes out quick. On the weekends there is a wait for a table and it can get busy but its worth it. The little donuts that you get when seated are good. My only complaint is the service. A few times the server hasnt been too pleaseant. Youre serving people, a warm sincere smile goes a long way. Some of the waitresses are not friendly at all. Other than the bad burger and poor service (only a handful of times) my experience has been great. Good food, nice place, sometimes you can get a groupon. I love it!

This location is very close to my office so we used to order carry out from them on Saturday. The breakfast food is delicious when they remember all the components to a dish. Our order was NEVER correct and they started to become irritated when we would open the containers to check. They do not welcome individual carry out orders. As a mattet of fact, the call taker frequently seemed super annoyed by having to place an order. We have taken our business elsewhere. I went to lunch at this location only because I had a Groupon. The baked oatmeal was a surprisingly delicious offering and the soft, cinnamon sweet, warm donuts scrumptious. The service was so slow I thought we would still be at our table come dinner time. Don't expect you glass to remain filled.

Great service, huge portions, excellent food, and good prices. The skillets are to die for. My wife and I still make the commute now that we moved all the way to North Aurora just because we love the place so much. Plus, who wouldn't miss those doughnuts? Can't wait to go back, A+.
(5)
Timothy M.
The food is good every time I've been here. There are certain servers that are way more polite than some others which can make or break your experience. Get the groupon deal cause it makes it worth it to come here versus going somewhere else.

Amanda S.
I've had mixed experiences. Service can be good but I've also had pretty poor service as well, especially during their busy hours. Sometimes when the wait is really long, they will bring out donuts while you wait. That's good customer service. As for the food, I've always been pleasantly surprised. The portions are HUGE! I usually get a skillet or omelette with a side of pancakes and the pancakes are the size of a large dinner plate. There's no way you'll leave this place hungry. My pet peeve is the Jimmy potatoes. I wish they had hash browns as well, it's just my preference. Luckily this place is always running a Groupon so I don't feel so bad!

Not bad, but not great. Service was lacking, she wasn't able to tell me what kind of quiche they had today & didn't offer to find out. Had to hunt someone down for silverware. Also, upon entering, it was confusing as to where to wait & who was waiting to pay their checks. A defined hostess station would be better. The mini donuts were tasty & that's a fun little treat my kids very much liked.

Sunday after church is a busy time. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes for table of 4 and that was pretty accurate if not even seated a little sooner. Atmosphere is noisy which works well with my sometimes loud 4 yr old. Everyone loved the mini donuts! Large portion sizes. Waitress was nice, however slow on getting us the bill. It was appreciated that the carafe of coffee was left at table. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bruschetta Sunrise. Next time I want to try the pancakes. My 8 year old got the Oreo pancakes and side if sausage. My boyfriend got the country style breakfast sampler and he finished his plate (which he rarely does).

My husband and I went to breakfast this morning. We stopped here because it seemed interesting. The complimentary donuts were out of this world good. I was a little disappointed with my breakfast. I got eggs over easy with bacon, grits and toast. Everything but the grits was cold/room temperature. The flavor was good but it would have been better hot.

Love the food! The cheese burgers are very yummy and fresh. But, every time I've came I've had horrible service... Takes them forever to fill the donuts and drinks. The servers have too big of sections to pay attention to you. They need new staff. One lady in particular has a huge attitude! The manager is rude and grumpy as well.

Good prices. Breakfast was delicious. Free donuts with breakfast is an awesome treat.

Yummm who doesn't like fresh mini donuts!! Good place for breakfast. I love the eggs, they're so tasty, buttery and fluffy!!

Came here for breakfast with my father and younger brother on a Sunday morning. Seemed as if the staff cared more about the football games than the customers. The donuts were the only mediocrely good thing on the menu. The omelette was dry and lacked flavor not to mention the veggies were soggy, and the hash browns were underdone. Considering how much we paid for the meal, it would have been nice to be able to finish my food without the thought of throwing up. Very disappointed considering Naperville has so many good brunch places!

We love coming here for breakfast. Love the donuts! Only reason why this isn't four or five stars is because we sat upstairs which is no biggie, but they needed to sweep the floor and check for wobbly furniture.

Love the restaurant itself! FREE DONUTS! But the service and management can be "eh" sometimes. However - still my favorite breakfast place!

Really REALLY huge portions! My 22 month old and I could have split his kids meal! I had a club sandwich that they added avocado to at no charge. It was good, although I've had much better. The little donuts were great! I was disappointed that they don't squeeze their own juice, so we skipped that. I would go back to check out breakfast.

I go to this place fairly often, because my daughter and I are hooked on their tasty little donuts. The food can be inconsistent. Today I have the bananas foster waffle, and it was delicious; the last time I ordered one, it was messed up. I've never had a bad server at this location--very attentive and helpful. On the other hand, the service at the hostess stand varies widely, depending on who you're dealing with. The restaurant needs to find some way of separating the guests waiting to be seated from those going to the register to pay. That would help both customers and hostess staff.

Double whammy for Juicy-O. First of all the service is horrendous. We were seated at a table that looked like it was not cleaned. It had a big pile of salt spilled under the table. The waitress walked past us for a good 10 minutes without bringing water, coffee, etc. The best part was the fact that several servers were standing around talking to each other completely oblivious to their customers. Okay maybe the food will make up for it... nope. The donuts were fantastic. Hot, fresh and melt in your mouth good. Unfortunately the rest of the menu wasn't the same. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito. It tasted like they cooked it in the microwave. The outside was hot but the inside was cold. The cheese wasn't even melted inside, the vegetables were crunchy and no salsa came with the burrito. It was a big cold mess. I couldn't even get the waitress to take it back because I didn't see her again until 20 minutes later. I hardly ever say this but I actually got sick an hour after eating here. Checking out was even a nightmare. One cashier and the line was stretching out into the dining room. Another 15 minutes wasted. I'm going to try another location. The menu looks great but this place is awful. I would not be going here again.

My husband and I love having breakfast or lunch at Juicy-O. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The food is delicious, the service is courteous and fast. It's our tried and true, a place where we feel welcome, the staff is warm and friendly. I really don't know why this place has such low reviews, maybe people are just being jerks? Jackie is a very sweet and courteous manager, if there's a hiccup with your order or you have a question she's there to help you out. We've been going there ever since the place opened in 2013 and we will be going there for years to come.

This morning I visited the Route 59 location for breakfast. I arrived shortly after 9am which was just before the breakfast rush. I was seated quickly and enjoyed a great cup of coffee and those tasty donuts while I waited for my order. Once it arrived, I was disappointed. It was cold - the eggs, sausage and toast. And, the grits were soupy. This was a first for me since I visit here for breakfast often. My server inquired on my meal and I explained it was cold. She asked if I wanted something else or more donuts. I declined and asked for my check. When she returned another lady was with her. I assume she was a manager however, she did not introduce herself. She asked if my food was cold and I confirmed it was. She then stated she could not understand how it could have been cold. I did not understand the reason for her question. So, I asked if she was questioning my complaint. She became quite nasty with me and claimed she only asked the question to avoid it from happening to anyone else. She and the server walked away. I was dissatisfied with the manager on duty. She lacks the ability to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner. It seemed more appropriate to question the kitchen staff and server - not the customer. I did not have to pay for my cold meal, but it was a small consolation since I left feeling less than a valued customer. If I could rate a zero... I would.
Oh my doughnuts. I have a problem. A doughnut addiction, you see. Always looking for the kind of doughnut that brings you to nirvana. Juicy O's has made me a fiend! But not just for their doughnuts, which they bring to your table upon seating as a free "bread basket" (but fresh and hot and 10 Xs better) but they ammmmazzzzzing Nutella crepes. I think I hear angels singing. I really don't go here for breakfast, I go here for a self induced sugar coma. Anyway, the point? Their doughnuts are light and coated in cinnamon sugar. The Nutella crepes are HUGE. We always ask for strawberries with it, instead of bananas. Do it with no extra charge. Their omelets are awesome and HUGE. One woman who is behind the front desk isn't the best at customer service but whatever at least the waiters have always been wonderful. Once we went on busy Columbus Day. The service was pretty bad. I guess because they were busy? It seriously sucked though. But our waiter was a nice guy. We got the crepes (obvi) and there was like no Nutella on it. Well, I'm not paying $11 for crepes without leaving with sugar coma, you know?? So he was very nice about it and brought us brand new crepes with probably a whole jar of Nutella and they were epically delicious. Conclusion: If Juicy O's was a person they'd be on my speed dial and we'd be BFF4L. Love you Juicy O's, see you ASAP!

I go to the Juicy-O on Route 59 in Naperville on a weekly basis because it is an awesome place to grab breakfast or lunch. The people are great the food is delicious and the donuts are to die for. I love skillets and thick cut bacon and they deliver!!! Its a popular place on the weekends so there is sometimes a wait but I keep going back because I love breakfast and theirs is the best in the area.

Yummy little Donuts while you wait for a fresh abundant breakfast!!!! This has quickly become a breakfast favorite. The staff is pleasant and prompt. I like the quirky little quotes in frames all over the walls. There are plenty of selections and everyone of them is large enough to share or have for breakfast tomorrow. ;-) I love their Greek yogurt and raisins with walnuts. Yummy sort of light start to the day.

Pricey for breakfast but it is a large portion and the food is terrific. The fresh and warm donuts are very good. I've gotten the Breakfast Burrito with Jimmy's Potatoes and it was too big to finish. This is one of the best breakfast places I have been to and I will be going back.

Initial Impression: I went here with my family, a group of 5, on a Saturday morning. When we first got there, no one was waiting for a table. Although they took our name since they didn't have a table ready for more than 4 people. Fine, we waited, and waited, and waited. There were, let's just say, "too many" people seated before us that had less than 5 people with little to no wait. Total wait time was 35 minutes, which would have been ok if they had told us this. Be warned: If you have a table needing to seat more than 4, your wait could be extra long. In their main dining room, I counted only 3 tables that opened to hold more than 4 people. They gave us extra mini doughnuts to compensate for our wait. But those are free anyway, right? Food: I liked the mini doughnuts. Tasted good, and they were green since it was St. Patty's Day weekend. The menu looked pretty extensive which makes me want to try a different dish if I happen to go again. However, I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with Eggs breakfast. DO NOT ORDER THIS! The taste was so overpowering of onions, that I didn't eat my meal. I am not a picky eater but this was horrible. I told the waitress and she offered to bring me a different meal to go instead, but I was not feeling this place at this point so I opted out. Overall: I think the set up of this place is kind of weird. There is a side room that if there is a large amount of waiting people, the food runners have to carry your food in between the huge crowd of people before it reaches your table. I think I would try this place again to see how it fares next time around. I wouldn't go without a coupon though since those seem to be in mailers and fliers everywhere.

So I heard the donuts were good and wanted to try them- they only bring out a small bowl of tiny cake donuts twice - no more- but no great loss as they weren't anything special. Food is not that bad, but not any good either. Came. Saw. Ate. Checked out the place. Done. No need to go back.

I'm giving Juicy-O's two stars. I got the avocado, bacon and tomato omelette. The omelette was good but the "jimmy style" potatoes weren't that great. First of all, who is jimmy(?) and second of all, they were burnt and spicy! Not my type of hash brown :( Before I decided what I was actually going to order, it was between the avocado, bacon and tomato omelette and the chicken and waffles. The server informed me that it was just three kids chicken tenders on a plate of waffles. I was expecting something like homemade, juicy chicken breasts. But I agree, Mike P, there's nothing juicy about this place.

Good food, good service, no complains, the server was very polite as well as the manager and even the buss boy, good coffee, in general I had a good experience in this place.

I thought this place was awesome. Instead of rolls you get fresh made doughnuts. I got the Texas Style Breakfast, with scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs were perfect. Chicken Fried Steak over biscuits is an amazing idea smothered in gravy and Jimmy Potatoes were out of this world. I'll be back for sure!!!! The only reason why 4 not 5, is there was a huge line. So waiting is a given, on a Sunday.

Ugh. Visited here just after their opening and did not have the best time. At that point, service sucked but the food was ok. Being in the industry for more 15 years, I know that there are always glitches to be worked out just after opening. We gave a second chance today. End result : Will NEVER go back. Our experience today was terrible from the get go. The hostess was super rude and could obviously care less about her job. My point to her: if you don't like working with people, the restaurant industry is not for you. Find another job. She just threw our menus on the table with out saying a word. Our server visited promptly, and we received our drinks fairly quickly. Food came out pretty fast as well, but let's just say that's the last time we saw our server. She never came back to check on us, or even refilled our drinks. We sat without drinks for more than 1/2 our meal. The chicken in my salad tasted like it was cooked yesterday, my boyfriend couldn't even eat his skillet because not only was there an overload of cheese, but the cheese was rubbery and old. He wanted to send it back, but since our sever never returned to our table, he was forced to eat what he could. In her defense, I did see that she had a really large section for just one person. From what I could see she had 2 ten-tops and at least 3 two-tops. But where was the manger with helping her as she fell so far behind? When we left, the couple sitting next to us had been sitting waiting to place their order for a minimum of 15 mins. After waiting almost 20 mins after getting done eating and still no visit from our server, we had to hunt her down on one of her trips to the kitchen and ask for our check on our way up front to pay. We once again had to deal with the "peach" of a hostess who only took the debit card and said "sign this" after giving us the credit card slip. And I also don't understand how a salad, skillet and 2 iced teas costs $27? Not to mention, I had also run into a friend during our visit, different sever, different section, who texted me upon her exit a bit after ours, who advised she had the same sad experience and she also will not returning. Overall crappy experience, will not go back. My recommendation: go somewhere else, this place isn't worth it.

Went to Juicy-O with my boyfriend for breakfast. The service here was on par with other breakfast places in the area. The menu has a good size selection of items to choose from. Prices here are high though compared to other places. When you sit down they give you a few complementary mini donuts. Those are quite good and probably my favorite part about dinning here. For breakfast I had the chocolate chip waffle. The Waffle was good but pricy for what you got. It was nothing special and you can get the same thing much cheaper at other places in the area. Over all I found the food here to be good but expensive for what you get.

(2)Melissa C.

(1)Melissa S.
Loved the doughnut and the service. Didn't care for the taste of the bacon. Serving sizes are too big. Hate places that waste food. Will try their omelettes but won't try the waffles or pancakes again.
(4)Jimma J.

(5)Mike O.
The fare is more than adequate. Good food, great service. Hey...they grind their own coffee beans so you know the coffee can't be that bad. A little pricey, but they deliver.
(3)Kristy H.
(2)Johnny V.

(4)Mike P.
(2)Michelle M.
I went there for lunch with my family. Make sure you bring your appetite, they give you a lot of food. Don't forget about the free donuts, yummy!
(4)Cristina G.

(1)Grant S.
(4)D Q.
Unbelievably terrible service when they are busy. Complete embarrassment. Kept trying to give them another chance, but disappointed every time. What a joke.
(1)April W.
(4)Veda P.
(1)Julie L.
Yummy donuts, but the food was just ok. We've definitely had better.
(2)Melissa E.

(5)Bobby P.
(2)Al O.
The first few visits, the food was quite good. I've noticed that the last few times, the quality of the food was not as it used to be. The scrambled eggs that came with any order seems to be undercooked. There are better breakfast restaurants around the Aurora-Naperville area that will now be my first choice.
(2)Tricia M.

(5)Varjawan S.
Had been for breakfast with my family and was seated immediately. The service was good and the donuts were simply amazing.
(3)Oscar R.
Never had a bad experience, donuts are amazing. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I would like a bit more variety

(1)Tyler M.

(1)Gato D.
Horrible food and the restaurant was dirty! Service was non existent and employees looked miserable. Even worst was watching the cooks and/or employees eat while expoing the food that is going out to the dining area! Not one positive in my experience here and will not return!
(1)Antoinette C.
I host a networking meeting here and I can not begin to tell you how horrible the service and food is. We have tried to address this issue with management and the problem literally went from bad to worse! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.
(1)S H.
(2)Garima S.
I loved the food and also the ambience is pleasing. Specially the veggie skillet was yummy and my hubby ordered chicken and mushroom skillet and he loved it too. The donuts were good too! The service was not bad either. All in all a thumbs up.
(4)Sal k.
Super slow service. I had a empty cup of coffee and water for over 10 minutes. Food was mediocre. Much better breakfast places out there than Juicy-O in the area.
(2)Auriel G.
The best wait staff around!
(5)Valerie A.
Everything we go here I get great service! I think maybe once it was ok but the food is good the donuts are great and the potatoes are amazing.
(4)Robert H.
(4)Fi G.
Mango freeze was not what I expected. Can't taste the mango at all. Stick to juices
(2)Arica H.
(1)MsChina B.
(5)Tiffany F.
(5)Gina S.
(2)Michael P.
Little busy...but worth the wait!!!
(5)B K.
this place for me is one and done.
(2)Erica M.
Terrible service. I sent omelette back because due to wrong ingredients. Received another omelette half cooked. The waittress had an attitude. Will not be going back.
(1)Sporky A.
I came here for the 2nd time (typing this before we leave) and I'm still not impressed. I really wanted to like Juicy-O because the complimentary doughnuts are so good but I simply cannot get past the unfriendly service & mediocre food. Portions are big but what's the point if it doesn't taste good?
(2)Madelyn H.
(3)Ronald L.
(2)Danny C.
They told us 25 min wait and the wait was almost an hour. Will not be back.
(3)Robie W.
(1)Jeff H.
Had excellent service every time I go. The free donuts are PHENOMENAL! The last time I went there I arrived right before they closed and the service was still really good. I've never ordered a bad meal there and my gf agrees.
(5)Steve J.
(1)Ben L.

(1)Rolly Z.
(1)Paul G.
if you're in the mood for a really good breakfast, look no further. The Texas Style Breakfast and the Skillets are great. Love the place and would highly recommended. Food is of much better quality than in most of the breakfast diner's all over the area. Good place, good food.
(4)Brittny G.

I love it!
(4)Jeff N.
The donuts are a nice touch. They were hot and made the wait for food Seem short. Our server was very nice and very attentive. Food was plentiful and delicious.
(4)Manuel M.
Free donuts, great omelettes, huge place so there's hardly any waiting even on the weekends even on the busiest times, delicious waffles and great service, love this place.
(5)Cash P.
(2)Tim T.
Great service, huge portions, excellent food, and good prices. The skillets are to die for. My wife and I still make the commute now that we moved all the way to North Aurora just because we love the place so much. Plus, who wouldn't miss those doughnuts? Can't wait to go back, A+.
(5)Timothy M.
The food is good every time I've been here. There are certain servers that are way more polite than some others which can make or break your experience. Get the groupon deal cause it makes it worth it to come here versus going somewhere else.
(4)Amanda S.
(4)Jen M.
(3)Joyce P.
(4)Sheila S.
(3)Sandra K.
(2)Richard L.
Good prices. Breakfast was delicious. Free donuts with breakfast is an awesome treat.
(5)Crystal R.
Yummm who doesn't like fresh mini donuts!! Good place for breakfast. I love the eggs, they're so tasty, buttery and fluffy!!
(5)Ira L.
(2)Tony V.
We love coming here for breakfast. Love the donuts! Only reason why this isn't four or five stars is because we sat upstairs which is no biggie, but they needed to sweep the floor and check for wobbly furniture.
(3)Amy V.
Love the restaurant itself! FREE DONUTS! But the service and management can be "eh" sometimes. However - still my favorite breakfast place!
(5)Elizabeth K.
(4)Annie R.

(2)Kristin S.

I would.

I enjoyed eating at Juicy-O. Their doughnuts were very good and had great flavor. The overall décor of the place is a nice, chic breakfast place. I ordered the corned beef hash benedict and it was delicious. I really enjoyed this place and I thought it was solid.
(3)Amy J.

Huge portion, served nice and hot! Great ambiance and super service! Why didn't we come here sooner?!
(5)Molly B.
I've had many disappointments with the juicy o on Washington street but I love the this one. Their skillets and coffee are amazing. Their takeout service is quick and easy.
(5)Ro H.
(5)Sue B.
(4)Michael S.

(2)Anna K.
So I heard the donuts were good and wanted to try them- they only bring out a small bowl of tiny cake donuts twice - no more- but no great loss as they weren't anything special. Food is not that bad, but not any good either. Came. Saw. Ate. Checked out the place. Done. No need to go back.
(2)Mary S.
(2)Carlos D.
Good food, good service, no complains, the server was very polite as well as the manager and even the buss boy, good coffee, in general I had a good experience in this place.
(4)Patrick H.
(4)Cati N.
(1)John S.
