What a hidden gem! This place is awesome!! Went in for a quick lunch with family on a Saturday afternoon and we couldn't have left happier. The server Hallie?? (Not sure on the name) was great and had a good personality. We all ordered the salads which are completely customizable. The environment and decor was also really nice and it's cool that there's a roll up door so it kind of feels like your eating outside.

We were constantly waiting on water to be filled up. We ordered buffalo wings with two different sauces, they brought us all extremely spicy wings in one sauce instead. I got the Italian beef sandwich. It comes with beef and bread. You can add mozzarella cheese for 75 cents which is pretty crazy and then pepperoncini for 50 cents. It wasn't very good, very dry. Everything was pretty underwhelming. The staff was just not attentive and we were one of two tables in the dining area...

What? I can't hear you. What did you say? HUH?? 2,700 televisions blasting every sport known at 200 decibels. Want curling? Sandlot has you covered. Jousting? Lemme check. I give it 4 stars because, frankly, I am too damned old for these kinds of places any more. But I am smart enough to admit that what they offer is exactly what their key demographic wants, and they deliver it well. So if you're a young person in need of cacophony, sports, and good drinks by all means put this place on your "go list". Not me. I'll be at home sipping my IPA in near total silence.

Ok, no recent comments here. Their web page is down and their FB Page hasn't been updated in almost a year... So I called and after about 12 rings someone answered, Yep they are still in business.. So as a OTR Truck driver empty on a Sunday, a Burger while watching the NASCAR race sounded good so I made my way here.. Nice place! As was said, the Bloody Mary's are great. The Bar staff is good and easy going. Vern is a fixture that leaves his personal belongings on the bar and leaves the place walks down the road and eventually comes back and he is a good ole boy!! The other patrons are polite and welcoming to a stranger and tbd conversation was good.. All in all, I'll be back!

This place can go either way - but mostly, it's great, so 4 stars it is!! Usually, bartenders & servers are friendly, competent, and move with purpose. So, that's good, Great draft beer selection, extensive menu (think "upper end" bar food - but still bar food), and they recently added on and started doing pizza. Younger crowd here, but welcoming to all (I'm 29, so being on the brink of young/older may help, here). Check it out, enjoy Morris, and enjoy the other awesome establishments along and just off of Liberty Street!

The food is just ok. Nothing to write home about. I was here for a wedding rehearsal and the food was set up buffet style. The set up didn't make sense. We had the upstairs reserved and when we got there the lights weren't even on for us. This place is not good for an event like that, but might be better just to go in and order.

Walked in and went to find a seat. Passed a waitress and said hi. She walked right past us with no acknowledgement. Walked out.

Had a baked potato with pulled pork BBQ and cheese. It was really good. I wasn't sure how well it would go together but it hit the spot and was filling. I'm planning on stopping when in Morris again.

I came into this place expecting a dark, old, dingy bar with a couple "regulars" sitting there.. I was wrong. This place is amazingly clean with very nice modern tables. The bar is very nice and kept spotless! It seems to be a popular place for lunch around here, and the place was pretty much full once we started eating. The menu has a lot of great unique items on it. I had a baked potato stuffed with pulled pork and cheese, which was excellent! I added a very good side salad for only $1. I think the bartender was waiting on the whole place, which is kind of small. But he was very friendly and attentive! I'lll have to make my way back here soon to try more dishes here.

We dropped by to try out the Sandlot's new addition, Left Field Pizza. We ordered a pizza with everything, and it came the way we ordered it. The pizza was good, and we even were able to order an appetizer from the Sandlot to go with the pizza. How can you go wrong? The beer was cold as well, and went well with the pizza!

The review would have been higher but they decided to charge higher prices for everything for Cornfest. They had decent prices but they made the choice to raise them for Cornfest. I think that is wrong. A Beer that used to cost $3.50 costs $5, but only during Cornfest. They also raised the prices for Pizza for Cornfest. Had they not overcharged for Cornfest it would have been 5 stars but they are greedy.

Beautifully designed space. Check out the tile in the bathrooms! The bartender during the day is very nice. I love the Woodchuck Cider on tap!

I'm a Bloody Mary snob. It always saddens me when I order a Bloody Mary from a bar and it is not made with love. Sandlot loves its Bloody Marys and you can taste it. Excellent quality and full of spicy flavor, olives, and pickles. I love going to The Sandlot for lunch. They make huge "Create your own salads" and have a good selection of dressings. I also enjoy their wings and Italian Beef, as well. Sometimes the wait staff needs a little work, but I've always liked the Bartenders. Try to get them to play "The Sandlot" while you're there! That always makes the scene more nostalgic.

Just left The Sandlot with hubby and kids and I have to say I'm so pleased!! Service was great! And the food, phenomenal!! Kudos to the chef! Kids ate everything, which never happens, and the cole slaw was incredible! Drinks, well again, very good! So happy to have dined here!

First place I used Yelp for somewhere to eat. I got a taco salad which looked a little cheap at first (didn't have as much meat and ingredients as previous taco salads I've had) so I was skeptical. Well, quality dominated quanity in this match. By time I finished the last bite I was fully satisfied. Can't say much about the nightlife or drinks. Only had two rounds of tap Coors light. Nice for a "better than average bar food" lunch.

This is an upscale sports bar. The food is really good but pricey. I'm not much of a drinker but I believe they have lots of variety. The service can be slow but the server usually doubles as the bartender.

Sandlots Sportsbar has an extremely nice inside especially for a rural town sports bar. It looks like they put a lot of work and money into it. They have a good variety of beer selections (imports and domestics) and the staff is very friendly. What makes this place more fun are the "Ride the Rail" and "Drink the Well" drinking cards. Each one is for beer and mixed drinks. You finish your card (about 20 drinks) and you get a free shirt or jersey. I think its a good way to try everything out and see what you like. The Classic Martini is the grossest drink out of both cards! It's a great place to go and chill on a weeknight and its still not bad on weekends. The food is pretty decent but I wish the portions were slightly bigger. It's not pricey though. Whenever I visit my friend down in Morris this is the place to go to,
