About Taco Bell
Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.
The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.
Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I don't normally write reviews on chain restaurants since almost everyone has been to one and they are all the same. This review is pretty much just for the service, since this is Taco Bell you know what the food tastes like going in. They have the absolute friendliest people working at this Taco Bell. I only go through the drive thru, but they are always so nice and they have never gotten my order wrong. I really can't ask for anything else from a fast food place.

Normally this place needs a lot of help, but today I had a great experience all thanks to Dave!!! He made us laugh and was very friendly, most importantly he made sure that our food order was correct and fresh! What more can we ask for!!!

They never get my order right. I like to think people make mistakes so kept giving them chances, but this location just doesn't seem to care and just throw items in the bag and not read what the order really is. My order is simple yet they still cant get it right. I have also gotten cold food where it was sitting for who knows how long. Ill never go back to this location. They are also very rude.

Thank you taco bell for the wilted lettuce and chicken bone in my cantina bowl. Really, it was great. Not to mention that the drive thru lady was too busy talking to the people in front of us that she forgot our order, then we sat there for 20 mins while she talked to her friends. I have never had any bad experiences here, but this one was enough to stop me from going back.

Had to pop in and try the new Dorito's taco I saw advertised all day during football. The food was good and the staff was professional. The only thing I didn't like is there was food on 2 of the 3 tables I wanted to sit at, not a ton, but still could have been cleaner. I have no problem going here any time i want a Taco Bell.

I know Taco Bell is not a culinary master of the food world. The eats here are, well Taco Bell. It's the same standard at any Taco Bell. What sets the bar low for this one is the extremely slooow service. The basic idea of fast food means it's fast. When I order something simple like a Nachos Grande (chips with meat, cheese and sour cream), it should get out fairly quickly...not 15 minutes later with no one ahead of me with an order. With that amount of time, I could have headed to an authentic Mexican restaurant, get a delicious meal and not waste time in a crappy Taco Bell. I've always wondered why their drive-thru was packed all hours of the day. It's not because it's a popular place but it's based on the fact that people have to wait a horrendously long time for a taco. Unless you have massive amounts of time to waste, avoid this place.

This particular Taco Bell has been good the three times I have been to it. The food has been tasty when I have come at 2pm and at 2am. The staff is friendly and does a good job of preparing the food in a timely manner. The inside is clean and in good shape. If you like Taco Bell this location will work out for you.
(4)D W.
If you need to get your Taco Bell on, I guess this one will do. Needs to be cleaner, so don't look too close.
(2)Lolitta P.
This place is the only place open at 3am after I get out from work... 90% of the time the food is not too tasty. The staff is very super friendly though.
(2)Jan D.
Good location to get your taco bell fix.
(3)Tony S.
This place is brutal. No joke, been here several times. Though I understand it's around midnight, it's called fast food for a reason. I want terrible food fast. This location is awful!!! I have sat in the drive through multiple times for 30 min plus, waiting to get our order taken. Nothing complicated, just some dang tacos for 2 people. For real! Wtf?!?!?? I have paid $100 plus for a meal for two, ordering top tier steaks, and have been served quicker. Last time, for real. Need some serious training.
(1)Crystal R.
I've just stopped coming to this location, past couple times have been just terrible on the food freshness and quality. I get it, it is fast food but I'm still spending money on it. I used to love the quesadillas but after opening them up to find 4 or 5 pieces of meat and mostly tortilla. The last time I ordered a chicken quesadilla, I opened it to find chicken so old it was dry, hard, and impossible to eat, not to mention the couple pieces of mystery ground beef and misplaced shredded lettuce. Thank god for no allergies and that I inspect my food. Taco bell used to be so much better, now I think they're just doing too much trying to do breakfast as well.
(1)Tyler F.
Service is pretty bad... Takes a very long time to wait to get your food or to order. When there is only 3 people in line it takes a good 15 minutes just to order. They usually say "one moment please" everytime. Like they don't have enough people or don't know how to do more orders at once. Food is alright it really depends who's working I guess... Sometimes they make it right sometimes they don't... I have timed my self at 2am to see how long it takes to order and get my food. I timed 21 minutes for 2 chicken burritos. Fastest time was 13 minutes... Pretty slow place.
(2)Kerry B.
S-L-O-W. Unacceptable, even for taco bell. Asked for a double decker supreme, there were two tomatoes on it and zero door cream. Unacceptable, even for taco bell. They are lucky that I am absolutely addicted to the cheesy gordita crunch or I'd never come back. :-P
(2)Mary M.
5 STAR for the fast food world. Service GREAT FOOD GREAT friendly folks and open real late for your munching pleasure it is simply wonderful. My FAV the Mango-BBQ Chickstar. I can eat these all the time DELICIOUS.
(5)Katie R.
Rudeservice. They have got my order wrong so many times and I would call and they would fix it. I would offer to bring a receipt and they said no need for one. The last time they messed it up I called and they said come in and they would fix it. I go in there and they give me the third degree saying that I complain too much. They were basically insinuating that I was lying about the food being messed up. They said all of this in front of other customer's and it was embarrassing. Never again will I go there. Worst place ever! They never put enough chicken in the quesadillas either. Worst managment. Horrible place. Do not go here ever!!!
