Breakfast here is amazing! They are always friendly. Since I'm a regular they always know what I want to eat. They know my family by now! One of the reasons why we always Go and love it is because of the prices, food and service! We definitely love Marilyn's. We would say it's the best restaurant Monee has!

Stopped in on our way through town on a Sunday around noon. The place wasn't crowded, the staff greater & seated us and got our coffee right away. Coffee was so weak, it was undrinkable. Food thankfully was decent. We had the greasy spoon special (my term, not theirs) for $7.95 which included biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon & hash browns. My guess is the only thing made from scratch were the eggs, but for a small place in a small town, it was fine.

I stop here for breakfast with my dad when I am out this way. I think they have great breakfasts and great price and they are very friendly in there....

I really enjoyed the breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The veggie omelet and hashbrowns with raisin toast (an extra 50 cents) were great. Good quality ham, crispy hashbrowns, lightly buttered toast. The little whipped butter packets on the table were not rock hard at all - hallelujah. I was impressed with the large selection of omelets and skillets on their menu. My boyfriend's coffee cup was always full, and so was my soda. The vegetable soup was delicious. I would return again to this quaint little restaurant when in the Monee area. My boyfriend ate here once by himself before, and said it was good country breakfast food. I wouldn't mind trying their lunch and dinner too.

This place is the pits dont even think about it.... Maybe try the bar but stay away from the food I can not believe the good reviews people give this place either they are owners or work there. I can't believe this place is still open really don't believe me and you got a couple of bucks to waste then check it out. If you come come with a sense of humor.... For my money I go to schoops whee you alway get good food and service.

Have visited Marilyn's a few times when I have been in town to visit family. Was there a few days ago with my four children mom and dad. The food is delicious and homemade! Marilyn is a wonderful host and was gracious and kind to my kids, offering them extra crackers and soup. The chicken fingers my daughter had were homemade and not from a box. I would recommend this gem to anyone.

The food was average, nothing special. We were looking for something fast, but not fast food; and that is what we got. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the Greek skillet and an Italian sausage scrambled eggs.
