Steve's Belgrade was the absolute worst dining experience I have ever experienced. One bartender was extremely nice, however, I saw first-hand the owner treating his female employees very inappropriately. At one point I even felt the need to intervene. The owner (Steve I would guess) was completely intoxicated as well, which made the whole situation that much more uncomfortable. I would have suggested the cops to have even been called. I highly suggest that no one ever step foot into this establishment and provide this type of person to continue running such an unprofessional business practice. We need to look out for our hard-working servers and bartenders and eliminate this kind of harassment at work.

Nice neighborhood bar. They have really been working hard to spruce the place up. New patio area was nice, fresh coat of paint.... We had a few of the burgers and Fries, I had the one with the fried egg on top. Food and service was great..... Its just your local home town watering hole, it has dart machines and I think a pool table.

Stopped here on a business trip to try the half beef - half bacon burger. The place had an atmosphere that was perfect for a neighborhood bar. The bartenders/waitresses were really welcoming, and my food came out quickly (granted, I was the only one eating there at the time). The bar itself had almost every seat filled with a wide variety of ages. Everyone was really relaxed and friendly. They have a small, but decent draft selection, and a large bottle selection, including micro-brews. There bar also looked nicely stocked. There were darts and a pool table in the other room. The food itself was good. The beer was nice and cold, and the food was hot. The fries were big and tasty, although thick-cut isn't my favorite type of fries. The burger itself was good, but for being made of half bacon, I thought it was a little dry. I expected it to be more fatty than it was - I would be surprised if they really are using a 50/50 beef/bacon ratio. The waitress didn't asked how I wanted it cooked, and it was medium-well. I think if it was medium-rare it would have been juicier, and the taste of the bacon would have come out more. It was almost an aftertaste, and I might not have known it was mixed in if you didn't tell me. The toppings on the burger were great, especially the pickles! Get the pickles! All in all, I really like the welcome atmosphere of the place, but was expecting more of their burger.

Ever walk into a bar and get that "I might get stabbed here" feeling? If you have a friend who claims to be into dive bars, take them to the Belgrade, and they'll be fully cured. The clientele is a little rough around the edges. I think probation cards are accepted when getting your ID checked at the door.

Love the owners and wait staff! Newly designed bar concept with full menu. If you haven't visited since summer 2010, you must return! The menu is new -- late summer 2011.
