I work near Old Town and co-workers are always bringing in treats. The cookies are delicious, everyone says they're the best in the area. Old Town did our wedding cakes and no one had a bad thing to say. We had chocolate, carrot, cherry chip, lemon, and almond cakes and each was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Very nice staff to work with, as well. The glazed donuts are wonderful for a morning treat.

The quality of the product was good. The service was awful. The counter woman acted like I was a problem when asking about the items. She should probably not work with customers.

I was severely disappointed by the quality of the products from this bakery. If I could give them less than zero stars, I would. The cookies were hideous, cracked and very poorly decorated and the cake was not decorated as described when we ordered. When we talked to the cashier about a problem we had with a coupon advertised in the newspaper, the cashier just giggled and didn't rectify the problem. I would NEVER recommend this bakery to anyone who wanted pretty looking pastries for an event. I can not say it enough how disappointed I am by this bakery. I should have just ordered from Hy Vee.

Our wedding cake made us smile - unique flavors and zombie toppers. Old Town made sure the cake was delivered on time, they walked us through the process of bringing in the ribbon and cake toppers, and they made sure we got the zombie cake we wanted! Thank you! The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I've tried the cake at Whole Foods and I'll never be able to find a better taste. No Whole Foods in the Quad Cities, so Olde Town's family-style bakery makes for the best bet! I highly recommend them!

I had the famous old towne sugar cookies a few months ago at my sister in laws baby shower. I live in California and have been craving these cookies since my trip. Recently my mother in law ordered a handful of cookies, bubble wrapped them and shipped them to me. I haven't been so excited in a long time!!!! I can't wait to go back and visit and grab a fresh cookie! :)

I do like their thin glazed frosted sugar cookies & their sliced cakes. However, their breads, dinner rolls & pies have preservatives in them. They told me that the fruit they use for their pies comes from another company in a bag & it's not fresh fruit, it's like the kind in a can, so if you're fine with that then that's great, but I think this bakery uses preservatives in most of their baked goods & are not really baked from scratch. There are now two newer bakeries in Davenport & I think I'll try them. They said they do not use any preservatives at all in their baked goods & the owners do make everything from scratch & their pies are made with fresh fruit. Another thing I don't like about this bakery & that is, you never see the owner there which is kind of strange. Anyway, I think I'm going to do my business with these other bakeries from now on since they've had high star reviews from everyone.

Old Town is the best bakery in the QCA in my opinion due to their huge selection and great flavors. My family routinely utilizes them for birthday and party cakes. They have lots of sizes to fit the needs of your party ( a small cake feeds 8-10, a sheet cake 55-80 depending on how you cut it). If you like chocolate you must try the 'shadow' cake: a chocolate cake frosted with buttercream and then layered with chocolate ganache. It tastes like a Ho-Ho. I'm also a big fan of their carrot with cream cheese frosting. Great prices for the quality.
