One of my favorite things about Country Style is the quality of the ice cream following a re-freeze. Some ice cream gets hard and melts funny, but Country Style is just as good the second time around. Love their chocolate malts and peanut butter shakes. There are about two dozen flavor choices for shakes/malts. The soft serve is unique, it has the sugary grain feel to it that tastes old fashioned and home made. Very filling!

I really like this place - their dip cones are so good! It has just the right amount of crunch and creaminess. It's a cute little place that you walk up to and order your ice cream, and then eat it outside. They don't have many options as far as flavors, but it's still very good and authentic. It's unlike any other ice cream joint I have ever been to.

NASTY! We each ordered something different and it was all terrible. The soft serve is icy not creamy like ice cream should be. Nothing homemade in the place as far as I could tell. You know there is something wrong when the kids don't finish their ice cream.

I had a bad experience there twice. I bought a soda in East Moline through the drive thru & when i got home it leaked all over the place & the icecream spilled through the bottom of the container, then the one in Moline put no chocolate in my chocolate soda, just soda. Yuck!!! Took it back & the other girl was nice enough to fix it & knew what she was doing, but i think the owner hires all these young new kids that don't know what their doing & that's the problem. If you ask for a chocolate or strawberry sundae make sure they put enough of the topping on or else you'll get about a teaspoon on. Sometimes they try to cheat you out & their icecream isan't cheap either!!!!

Oh how this place is my nemesis! I would rather have a banana malt from Country Style than anything from Whitey's! There is something about the soft serve that just is so addictive to me! I am always greeted with a smile and the service is always impeccable. Whenever I am in town or have a friend visiting, this is one of my first visits!

Ice cold deliciousness! A long standing corner landmark (poised right next to Whiteys (also really good)), Country Style is a great place for cones or shakes. Try a Boston for something extra fun (sundae on top of a shake). Personal favorite: Banana shake with vanilla or twist.

Best soft Steve ice cream!! Only two flavors. Chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate is a dark chocolate and the vanilla reminds me of a more French vanilla with a yellow tint versus bright white. The ice cream is not a "fluffy" soft serve but more solid. It's amazing. You can get various sundae/shake flavors and candies but the ice cream alone is a special soft serve treat.

Not bad but not great either. I would recommend it if you want soft serve. But otherwise I have no idea why you would choose this over Whitey's next door, which is far superior. I agree with previous reviewers about it being icy as opposed to creamy. Plus it's very expensive- two shakes came to over $10. I might come back to try a dip cone though.
