Their lunch specials are pretty good. I brought my mom and brother out here to eat and I was looking for something more on the affordable side... and then I ran into Dock Rotz. The hamburgers were good, but the service itself was kind of slow. We sat ourselves in confusion after realizing... that's what you're supposed to do. Alrighty! Overall the food was really good. I hope to come back over here again sometime and take a taste out of their beer selection!

Awesome food, awesome prices! The staff was fairly friendly, but I can't expect people to be super chipper at 10pm on a Saturday night when all they want is to go home. We will definitely be visiting again.

The food is decent. The drink selection is pretty good with a good variety of beers and nice drink specials during the week. There is entertainment on the patio on the summer as well. Only problem is service in the restaurant is usually pretty slow, even when not busy.

Went here for the first time tonight. Beer selection gave many options. Loved my pick! Met up with 4 friends and all enjoyed the food. One in my party ordered the club and said it was the best she ever had! Wow. Service was great. I will be back with the family next time. Great to have a local business worth supporting. Saving the last star for a second experience...

We have been here plenty of times over the last six months. And I have to say, for minooka this place is just the spot. The food is real good (pretzel rolls & cheese)!! My only con is the service, while it's not bad, it could be way better!! Don't hesitate to give this place a try!!

This place has a great selection of beer and great wings! It's not often that you find a place that offer wings without a breading that are "gluten friendly", but this place has them and they are some of the best. I definitely love coming out on Thursday night enjoying wings and playing trivia.

Buffalo chicken Sandwich is the biggest I have ever seen and tasty. The family left satisfied and an adequate beer selection. Servers were friendly and attentive. It is a good local joint for a casual dining experience.

Just writing on top of the last review here. Don villo was just shut down for making 30 people sick..... channahon-minooka.patch.… Dock Rotz has fantastic food and now that they have the groove down of being busier the service is much improved. Great place get the pretzel appetizer.

Great beer selection, small but good looking menu of sandwichs, salads and finger foods. The inside is redone to look cleaner and more of a bar and grill feel. Its only the second night but i think they are off to a good starg by not trying to overdue anything. Simple good food, with decent prices is what the area needs.

Never going back. Couldn't get waited on when they first opened. Swore I would never go back. Tried one more time a few minutes ago, now I promise never to return. Girl couldn't figure how to use register and never acknowledged I was sitting there. Not busy. Suggest you go to the office, got my beer poured before I even sat down.

My husband and I went to Dock Rotz on July 25th, 2015. We went because they had advertised Poison'd Crüe playing the day after my husbands birthday. We had dinner in the dining room before the show. I had the buffalo chicken salad with a very generous glass of Chardonnay. My salad was just spicy enough. It was delicious. My husband had the sloppy burger with a beer the server recommended. The food was great, portion size was perfect. The service was very good. We went out to the patio to watch the show. We were able to take our drinks out there. The show was fantastic. The band was very talented. We had a different delightful server on the patio. We had a very memorable evening. I would definitely go back.

Have visited this establishment several times now.Food is good service ok but would like to see food hotter,got the loaded french fries and they were cold.Waitress didn't visit table until she brought check so couldn't send back fries.:(

Went last Wednesday night pretty late. We had a table of 5 and the food was noticeably improved. Pork came out steaming hot. Mac and cheese was smooth and creamy. Wings were prepared well. Liked the mango habenaro sauce. Hope they keep it up :)

My friends and I tried out Dock Rotz Tavern for the first time. Service was prompt and friendly -- good atmosphere. Dock Rotz looks like it will be a good place to watch a game and have a beer. Dock Rotz has good variety of beers on tap. Now to the food. We all liked the loaded fries. I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich. My friends ordered the Mac & Cheese and Nachos and were underwhelmed by their choices. Glad a new restaurant has opened in Minooka, hopefully Dock Rotz stays and keeps getting better. Great bar, great atmosphere. Some reviews talked about poor service which I think is more due to the overwhelming popularity of the establishment at first. Went for a couple beers and had some chips and salsa (very good). Friendly service great beer selection, small food menu. Give it a try!

We went on a Saturday evening and our party consisted of my husband, myself and our two-year-old son. It was crowded (which was nice to see!!) but we were seated right away. The inside of the place is cute, beautiful bar area with lots of craft beers to choose from and plenty of TV's. The menu is not overwhelming and has a nice selection. The waitstaff was very nice and seemed to know the menu well. We ordered the pretzels and cheese for an appetizer and it was really good. The pretzels were both soft and crispy, served warm with a cheese dipping sauce. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries - very good. I recommend the Dock's cheese sauce on your burger. My husband had the beef brisket dinner and it was a TON of food! There was a huge helping of the brisket and he had onion rings as his side. He said it was very good. We ordered the chicken tenders kids meal for our son. That was very good too. They were REAL chicken tenders served fresh with french fries. I hope this place hangs around because I'd really like to try more of the menu!

Tried this place on Saturday... HUGE mistake!!! Food was terrible, service was non existent. Wings were super greasy, dipping sauces were watery and had no flavor!

Our party of 4 had an early dinner on a Saturday eve recently. Service was just ok, especially considering the time and the place was not crowded at all. After a long wait, our food arrived and it was NOT hot. I ordered a Reuben and it was the worst Reuben I've ever had. It was not grilled, the bread was toasted. What little bit of sauerkraut that was on the sand which was brown. As for the the 1000 island, I believe it was MIA. we had eaten here previously and it was ok, this time it was not. We won't be giving them many more chances to get it right. We would rather drive a little to have Better meal. The other 3 in the party tolerated their food but even the soup was not hot. One good thing,nice selection of beers.

Craft beer selection is good. They rotate different beers in and out, so a variety if choices is there. Can't beat Monday's special of $3 craft beer pints all day. Draft root beer for the kids too. Food is good, need to sample more of the menu to give an honest review. It's about time the Minooka area gets a place like this. Hopefully they succeed.

What a busy place this was!! They've done a great job revamping the place and making it a great new bar and grill for Minooka....just what we needed!! My boyfriend had the all you can eat fish and chips for $14.95. Of course it's all you can eat but he would have liked a bigger portion initially instead of 3 smallish pieces. But he said the fish was nice and flaky and the beer batter was flavorful. I had the reuben for $9.95. It was on soft marble rye and was really good!! We had the hot soft pretzel with beer cheese appetizers and the pretzels were fantastic!! The prices are really decent and there are plenty of TV's with whatever sport you want to watch. The kitchen was a little understaffed so the food was slow coming out....growing pains, I'm sure! The wait staff and the busers were attentive and our waitress Alli was awesome! The restaurant area was really noisy and loud but the bar area was quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling. All in all it was a good meal with decent prices in a nice new restaurant in town! Will definitely be back!! Next time we're getting the brisket!
