Have eaten here a few times, and the food is always good at a fair price. Have had excellent service every time, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the food isn't anything exceptional. It's a great place to take a large group because the menu is extensive and the prices are fair. They also feature several specials each day. Great service and good food means it's a place I will visit again, I just don't expect a gourmet meal!

It is a good place to eat if you want diner food for a fair price. The have specials every day. The fried chicken is very good. They have a salad bar and on Fridays they have pizza bar. Wish they had real mashed potatoes but I'm willing to forgive them for the good chicken.

Sweet people but poorly organized. You seat yourself and the waitresses have no idea who is where and when did they show up. The food is OK, but nothing to write Yelp about. If I were you I'd avoid this mediocrity.

We normally go on Saturdays to have the pizza buffet. I would say that the food is very good for the price. The salad bar is good, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Sometimes the eggs are frozen, which is just gross. Sometimes when we go, the baby carrots are white and just not very appealing. The pizzas are really good. If you get there and want a certain pizza, you can order it and they will make it for the buffet. I highly recommend the Oreo cookie dessert pizza. The service is pretty good, they are very attentive and good at keeping the drinks filled. Most of the staff that we have had encountered with are very friendly. I can't say much about any items on the menu because I have only had the pizza buffet when I'm there. All and all, if you want a good meal at a good price, I would recommend this place.

Generous food portions, good prices and fast service. They have an extensive menu including breakfast all day. The chicken in a biscuit I had for breakfast was tasty. The biscuit and gravy, although bland, had a good texture. The coffee had a nice mild flavor to it. The decor was lacking and it was a little depressing eating in a place with plain white walls.

One of the best family run restaurants in Mattoon. Daily specials, good pizza, great service. The Friday special of AYCE fish & shrimp is tasty and filling. If you're looking for fancy decor go somewhere else, Pagliacci's is about good food and service at a reasonable price.

Though the service was good and the prices were decent, the atmosphere and food was basically mediocre. It was nothing I hadn't had before. I give it an A-OK because it was decent food and the service was good. Overall, I wasn't impressed. My parents like it though.

I've had better breakfast somewhere else. I had the ham and cheese scrambled eggs on a bed of hash browns and it was like Christian H. described it, mediocre. The hash brown was dry and I don't like the texture of the egg. There's just nothing special to look forward to.
