Had the Portuguese steak. Boyfriend had the Mediterranean steak. Eating here was an excellent life choice.

Great experience! Had family in town and showed up half hour before they close and it was no problem. The sever was great and she even joked about our accents being from the south. The drinks come served in main jars and they have Ski soda, a plus!! I had a nice grilled Kansas City 12oz strip and was too good seasoned to add any kind of sauce. Will definitely go back again now that we are new Mascoutah residents.

Really good! 1st here. Had Cod lunch, salad bar and great Clam Chowder! This is a great restaurant and run well. I will be back. Sandy was great

Very tasty meals were had here: Pork steak w\sweet potato & green beans!! Steak & pasta w/gorgonzola cream sauce!! No room for dessert even though they looked yummy!!

..........Portuguese steak? What was Portuguese about that steak?? I was pretty excited to try this place and looked forward to a decent steak. That's NOT what I got tonight.. The menu talks about port wine reduction garlic and more, and a fried egg. That's what hooked me I'm a sucker for a good fried egg on things. I paid over $20 for a piece of meat that at best was worth $9.95. NO POTT WINE REDUX. Sloppy egg. The steak was swimming in something tasteless - doubt if was clarified butter.. A few pieces of garlic on top, and that was it. Fried chicken was GOOD. Veg and salad was blahh. Soup was so so. Sad to say I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Worse customer service I've ever come across... Can't believe anyone would give this shop more than a ***ONE*** STAR review. I specifically called the day before to make an appointment. So I arrived 10 minutes early and they made me wait for an additional 15 minutes. Oh, did I mention to say the time was when they just opened for a 10 AM appointment I WALKED out!!!!! There are way too many of these shops to wait on them. So I called the next closest shop to my location, guess what, they had an opening in 15 minutes...go figure. Won't be going back there EVER again

What a wonderful surprise! Service was excellent, food was excellent, dessert was AMAZING!!!! Since we're traveling cross country we didn't really know what to expect. It's off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

Great restaurant. Very diverse menu with almost every meal coming with soup and salad bar. There's a lot of support from locals and it is a very comfortable place to eat.

Met friends there for Friday night fish. Everything came cold. Fish over cooked, baked potatoes and veggie cold. Very disappointing. Salad bar was ok.

Soup and salad cant go wrong. Everything else was disappointing. Standards have been declining the last few times we've been there. Done giving it another chance.

Had a 16ox ribeye, green beans, soup & salad bar. Steak was great and cooked just shy of requested medium rare which is fine by me. I think has replaced Tonys since I didn't see a Tonys and there was a sign that said under new management. I try my best to stay away from chains. Always try to support the locals, you will rarely regret it!!!!
