Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I cannot start with how awesome the food is that this place has to offer to their customers, as well as the more than affordable prices, especially in this type of economy. Lunch Specials are under $6 Dinner Specials are under $7 And to top that off, there's over 20 options within each specials for you to choose from. What more can I say? Deliciousness over the roof, Cheap and affordable prices, and a very big Variety!!! And every time I'm there, there's always a line! You can tell that this place is just that good! Not to mention, there's also the regular menu with plenty and plenty of options to choose from if specials aren't your thing. A few of my all time favorites - Lo Mein: I've tried this with all of the different meat options that they had to offer and I have to say, no complaints from me. The noodles are always cooked just right, not soggy or undercooked. There's also a light sauce on it, not dry or too saucy that makes the noodles look like a big o' mess of glop. And the meat is always tender. And a very nice portion of assorted veggies that are mixed it. Orange Chicken: I have to say, the BEST I've ever had! The chicken is cooked to perfection, not too hard, or too soft, just the right amount of crispiness! The sauce is AMAZING! A touch of spiciness, a touch of a sweetness, and a touch of sourness, a perfect combination I tell you. And the broccoli, omg, just omg GREAT! (No offense to the earlier Yelper who was dissing their broccoli, they're not inedible, they're just pickled by the sauce. If you don't like the broccoli that much, then just tell them no broccoli and leave it for the people who knows how to appreciate it. Or if you like the broccoli, tell them to skip the sauce, so pick your choice.) Anyway, sometimes I enjoy the broccoli so much, I pay extra for more broccoli. Yep, it's that good. Egg Foo Young: By far the best the Midwest has to offer. You can tell that it's made fresh with fresh bean sprouts, eggs, and other fresh ingredients. Some places use corn bread mixing and I just don't get it. I mean come on, I didn't pay for corn bread, if I did, I would just go to the store and get corn bread. The best part of it, is the gravy that goes right on it. And man the gravy is so so so yummy-licious! The best combination for this, is definitely with white rice. One word, Perfect-o! Chicken Fried Rice with Pineapple: A definite winner for me if I want some fried rice. Although the pineapple is an additional cost, but it's well worth it. Sweet, tangy, and savory. A great sensory for your taste buds! The chicken is seasoned very well. And the rice is perfect, not soggy or too dry. A very small setback is that it's a cash only establishment. So if you decide to pay this over the roof wonderful place a visit, remember to carry cash with you.

Family run restaurant with fresh food and friendly service. Huge portions. They have a few tables but it's more of a take out place. Sketchy area so probably best to visit during the daytime. Cash only.

So, this is my old school Chinese spot, dating back to the 90's.... It is family owned, and the kids that used to play in the back are now at the front taking orders!!!! New Wok in Markham is a fast food, Chinese Restaurant. While there are tables and seating, this is not the place you want to dine in at. Your orders are taken at a Bullet Proof Window!!!! There is no public restroom. They do not accept credit or debit cards..... BUT, New Wok has the best Mongolian Beef in the South Suburbs!

I ate here today for the first time. The food was OKAY but it was not outstanding. The generals Tso chicken was not general two chicken it taste like sweet and sour chicken. The egg rolls are very doughy. Its in a tiny hole in the wall place.

What? I can't believe I just came across a good Chinese food over here! I followed the instruction of the previous yelpers and tried the orange chicken lunch special. It came with shrimp fried rice and a piece of crab rangoon for less than $6. Yes, I said less than $6, and it was good too! Usually cheap food can make your stomach hurt, but not this place! Cheap and good? Sounds like a winner to me...

Love this place. The food here is consistent and I always have a good meal. The people here are friendly and they always seem to be busy when I get there. I can order my food and it usually will be ready within 15 minutes of ordering it. I also enjoy the some of the customers that come in, always a good conversation. Definitely worth trying this place.

Love the orange chicken. Food is really good. Rice taste more like cajun style rice, really good.

Magnificent Orange Chicken.. It is personally the best orange chicken i have ever had. The pieces of chicken are huge and crunchy, and dont get soggy if they sit or are refrigerated, and the sauce is, i reapeat the best!.. Why only 4 stars? I find myself askin for extra orange sauce to put in the rice bcus its kinda dry. The broccoli put on the side is so chewy, its almost unedible. Crab rangoon could b bettr also... Still my go-to place for "chinese/american" food
